Staff is always friendly and quick to offer help or suggestions! Decent selection and convenient location... one of only a couple spots in town that consistently carries a specific bottle of Oregon made gin which I love. Overall pricing is in line with other shops or is at times more competitive.

Okay so, I went in to find a specific brand of canned cocktails but it seems like Eugene liquor stores just didn’t carry this brand cause they are pretty new. I had a really casual conversation with one of the employees about it and I chose a different brand and went on with my life. Came back about a week later to grab a pack of, whatever looked good, for a little get together and there was the product I had been looking for! The same worker came to ask me if he could help me find anything and I said “you guys got it!” He recognized me and told me they ordered it specially for me! I’ll tell you that was such a sweet moment. I know it sounds so silly but these guys made me feel so special. I’ll be getting there names next time I go in, these guys at downtown liquor really take care of there customers!

Downtown Liquor in Eugene is one of the best liquor stores in the state. They have a fabulous collection of bottles - probably the best outside of Portland - and an extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. One nice thing that they do is buy single barrels from producers and have those bottled just for sale here. Their wine selection is also really solid and has some of the best values in town. Overall, this is the best place for liquor in the Eugene area.

Clean, spacious currently well stocked. My experience has been that they are usually well stocked on the holidays best to always go in early though.Most everyone is friendly, & helpful. Its a good place, clean store, clean parking lot, well marked, with aasy access off west 11th.

Theyre very helpful and Ive asked them several times for recommendations, and always are given great options. They also hold my favorite gin, Empress 1908. The selection is good, although I think their selection of bartending equipment could be slightly bigger with more varied options. They also occasionally have sales, which means I can get a hand of rum for a solid price from time to time to make daiquiris and other nice drinks

They have the best liquor selection in Eugene! The people that work there are very friendly and helpful! So helpful that the man that helped me cut a box to specifically fit into my bike basket. That was SO considerate!

This liquor store has the best selection of all the good flavors of liquors. Their amaro selection was by far the best I have ever seen. I went for rum and that selection didnt disappoint either. If I didnt have to lug it all back across the country, I probably would have gotten more.

Staff have a solid range of knowledge around common as well as more unique spirits.Love the way the store is arranged; easy to zip in to get what we need and also makes us want to shop and browse when we have time!

Ok let me tell you about these amazing people. They have it all and what they do not have they can find for you. I am the first to give a business one star if they have it coming but on the polar opposite if they earned that extra star I give it.

The staff here is so nice and funny and just a joy to be around. The place is clean and they seem to keep up with sanitation. Very helpful over the phone and in person. Even when they are about to close they are still so friendly.

I moved here from TX and liquor stores are massive there so I am used to a very large selection. Which brings me to why I like DTL, they have a good selection of organic and unique libations. I get a better variety here than anywhere else in town. It is clean and the sections are clearly marked so all the gin, vodka, whiskey are clearly marked. The staff has good knowledge and great suggestions. I can almost always get exactly what I love and good recommendations on new tasty things to try.

A great selection of beer wine and spirits. It was good to find that they carry a nice selection of Soju. One of the staff, there, was quite knowledgable of Asian spirits and answered a question about a particular type of Korean rice wine about which I was curious. Ill return there for future purchases!

Staff is rude especially the old alcoholic guy with the beard. I would recommend Apple market they are friendlier have a better selection at better prices. In addition it is a great grocery store making it one of the best one stop shops in town.

They are conveniently located close to downtown Eugene. Its a great place for quick stops. They do have tastings now and then also. The staff are really knowledgeable and always helpful. They are willing to take the time to educate their customers about their products.As a side note, they demonstrated high integrity once when I observed an employee refuse to sell to a person whom he knew was trying to buy for minors. Well done!

Came in for the first time today to grab a bottle of whiskey to add to the very teeny tiny collection Ive been starting, and when I sheepishly asked a question it was answered with precise knowledge and professional delivery. I was really astounded by the level of detailed information the person who helped me had and his ability to articulate nuances between brands was extremely helpful. Ill definitely be coming back more regularly.

Ive always had a good experience here. They have a pretty darn good selection of all the standard types of liquor (ex. Vodka, whiskey, rum, tequila, scotch etc.), along with quite a few liqueurs and non-standard liquors (ex. Absinthe, B&B, Chartreuse, Ouzo, Goldschläger, etc.)Ive always been met with knowledgeable staff, and quick and easy transactions. Along with that, the prices are some of the lowest in town that Ive seen.Overall, I definitely recommend it to anyone in the downtown area looking to buy some booze.

Pretty much exactly what you’d expect. No special ambiance, but it has all the alcohol you’d want. Plenty of options at plenty of prices. Location is decently central, and employees are helpful when you need a hand figuring out what sort of thing you’d want to drink.

I moved here with an SD ID and when I showed the clerk, he almost confiscated it claiming it was fraudulent. I am 23 years old and had a cannabis permit on me under the same name. I have gotten this ID from my DMV in Rapid City SD and it has worked at every single place since I turned 21 up until now. I even requested to see law enforcement because this gentlemen was 100% wrong and thought otherwise. I have never been so astonished, caught off guard, and baffled by ignorance. Train your employees better. The young gentlemen with the medium length hair and beanie at least got me my ID back, and showed 3excellent customer service even before the discrepancy. He kept calm and addressed the situation professionally, give him a pat on the back and hire a few more like him. I will never be going here again. Even AFTER I get an Oregon state ID. Educate.

Clean with knowledgeable and helpful staff. They also have a wide variety to choice from. I do wish they carried Chassagne-Montrachet but while it is my favorite wine I am sure its not well known here nor requested because im sure they would carry it if it was. Please note that if you look them up online it says they are open until 9..this is not true they close at 6pm.

Excellent selection of liquor, mixers, beer and wine. Price-wise, its exactly the same as every other liquor store in the state, thanks to OLCCs policy of setting prices. So you arent coming here to save money, but for the selection and service. If Nick is working, ask him for a recommendation - he really knows his stuff.

The big guy with the beard is very rude. I was in here with my boyfriend and his kid and we were told to leave even though the sign said minors can not come in without their parent. It was clear that the reason he didn’t want to serve us is that I am a trans woman and he is transphobic. My boyfriend has gone into downtown liquor with his kid many times before with no issue. The only difference her is that he didn’t feel comfortable with a trans woman. Don’t go to downtown liquor the guy who works there is a transphobic person who should not be working customer service. Maybe he would be better suited working at a call center or something.

Since I live just a few minutes away this is where I always do my shopping, they have amazing prices and great hours.
