I have been going to the Escondido location a lot over the last couple of weeks to have documents printed and copied (most of which pertain to my job search and employment issues). The employees here are friendly and helpful. Extra kudos go to Savannah for going the extra mile when assisting me. Good job!

Went in yesterday and found what I needed, also man on register was very helpful and polite.

When the store is pretty empty and you have three employees sitting around on their phones you would think some one could help answer a simple question without acting so inconvenienced. Back to Amazon.

Big guy behind CPD is always very rude. Simple questions are met with very dry, non helpful answers and it seems to appear as though its an inconvenience to him. Also, multiple times when dropping off packages, he didnt even acknowledge me after I said Hello! and that I was there to drop off, so I just leave the packages there.When I walk into the store, I end up hoping he isnt working behind the counter lol

Office Depot will not honor their PayPal online checkout feature. They are intentionally deceptive. Do yourself a favor. If you are using PayPal or Venmo, do not shop at Office Depot.

I went here after having a one star experience at a local competitive store. The staff here was attentive, kind and helpful. All the employees are customer service oriented compared to the competitive store across town, where all the staff is on the personal cell phones and couldnt care less about what you needed. Good vibe in this store.

So I came in to this location well before closing time , signed in on there computer walked around for 15 to 20min waiting for them to call my name ? Then the kid ask if he could help me, I then said I would like so copys and photos please. He calls his manager on his ear piece, and said do you want me to make these copys and photos for this guest, or go to the bath room ? I guess told hom to tell me, We are closed now, but you can purchase your items at the cash register ? I just drove 35 miles to hear get here and now they dont want to help me but i can still pay for my batters and my fruit snacks Ive been eating while waiting for them to help me. And then ask me to fill out and give them my email ?? This place is not professional, all they think about is getting out and going home. You guys are WRONG !!!!

I had to print an email attachment. It was 16¢. I was searching my purse for change... Ugh, I had none. Before I stopped looking the awesome lady with red hair paid it out of the spare change dish. How fantastic is that? Ill take kindness from anywhere. Kinda made my day... I know, its change, but still.

Convenient location for all of my office shopping needs and great variety of deals available. It truly pays to be a rewards member.Customer service is however receiving an F at this location, you enter the store you’ll wait 20 minutes for someone to greet you . You ask for associate assistance you will wait 15 minutes. Need a print job expect nothing short of 30 plus minutes of waiting and snobby staff and unprofessional cashiers.As a business professional I suggest you buy a copy machine and not return to this location because you can rest assure that your time nor feelings as a customers be respected.

Poor service. I was in line waiting, a new cashier comes by and starts a new line. But starts in reverse. The last was served first. Cashier had no apologizes. Luckily they had what I needed.

Great service. Went here for invite printing services and they made it so easy. Explained all I needed to do was email them my invite and they would take care of the rest. Would recommend this location.

It went fine - would have like a bit more customer service but when i asked where the shredders were he just pointed to where they were and just disappeared and didnt ask if i had any questions. But the clerk at checkout was nice and friendly and helped me get a basket so i could easily take to car

I went it .. printer was not working .. ive gone a few times in there and only 2 ppl are working so that means if you need help you’re gonna have to wait for an hour to get assistance.. so never going in there again ..

The fax machine didnt work. Its the 2nd time Ive experienced difficulties completing a simple task in the last few months. I usually like office depot but this one seems to be out of sync.

Im really impressed....I was there today because I needed $174 copies of something, 74 copies of something else, cut in half 250 pages, 50 copies of a page and another 50 of something else.They did all of that in like 20 minutes!Impressed !Great customer service

Always find what I need. Was in there today to get some personal documents shredded. I had 17 lbs, it cost $11. The guy that helped me was great!

The staff here is awesome and friendly. Teresa has helped me find things I need quickly. She even helped me skip the line by scanning the items I needed with a smart device and paying for it with my credit card right on the spot after she found what I needed. The best thing about this place is whenever I visit, I really just need something and I need it quick. So everytime, I virtually walk in and out without any lengthy wait.

This store obviously has invested in training most of their employees, and selected those that take customer service seriously. From the way they answer their phones professionally, friendly and respectfully, to making me feel like a valued customer I will happily continue to shop here. Hats off Escondido Office Depot Team!

Linda in the Copy and Print Center was amazing & so helpful! We came an hour before closing, looking for pricing on printing black/white & cutting 200 card stock paper (using our own paper). She was very knowledgable and came back with very reasonable pricing.When we were ready to process the order, Linda was efficient & careful to ensure we got the results we wanted. Despite the long lines so late in the evening, she was cheerful, professional, & a pleasure to work with. We were in and out within half an hour. Definitely a great first time experience!!

It seems that office Depot is stationing employees throughout the store, that dont run away when you catch their eye, and are willing to help you find things... Maybe I havent been in od for some time but my recollection was it was next to impossible to find anyone to all questions of in my previous visits.

Do not order via the website. It will say that things are in stock which are actually not in stock. And it will even say that it has been delivered when it has not. And if you try to get customer service it is horrible.

I love this Office Depot. Everytime I walk in here I am greeted with a smile. I work in an office and Im often running out of supplies. Office Depot in Escondido is precise with my orders and will always find a way to satisfy their customers needs. I will continue to go to Office Depot in Escondido, thank you for your services! :)))

Customer service is lacking. Seems to me if brick and mortar stores want to stay in business they should have excellent customer service available. The clerk was busy but she called for help but no one came. She finished helping her customer with his print order then she rang up my item. Employees passed me as I browsed in the store, no one greeted me or asked me if I needed help.

Bulls**t no customer service at all. Had to find everything out myself; which wasnt difficult very easy set up. But not a hello, can i help you, you finding everything ok! Not at all

Nice staff, helpful. Please support your neighbourhood stores the brick and mortar. Imagine a world of online only shopping- no more browsing the Isles buying stuff you dont need. Sounds awful to me! I like Office Depot they have a wide selection of goods.

Printing place is horrible! I made an order online and it took 2 days to actually be done even though they told me it was going to be done by 5pm when I ordered at noon the day before. Horrible printing staff. Last time I print something from here. Check in is useless. Store doesnt understand technology at all, its laughable. 😂 I will stick with BestBuy and real online stores. Store is good if you already know what you want and are willing to look around. Seems pretty understaffed so its hard to find an associate to help you but overall is clean and generally stocked

Conny is a very good employee and has helped me in the past , nearly 4 years, with printing alot of important papers. Id give her 5 stars.

While some employees are very friendly, I have been very patient many times with the lack of quality customer service. There has been multiple times when I have arrived at this store to get flyers printed and have to wait 20+ minutes for anyone to greet me. I would understand at times when they are all busy and cannot help right away, but in most cases most employees are just chatting away not really concerned with the customers need. You cant get upset when you have angry customers if youre not taking care of them at all. What makes it worse is they show their attitude. I know things can get frustrating for the employees but they have to understand no one forced them to pick this job. If you cant do simple customer service what do you expect people to review your store as?

CALLED STORE IN ESCONDIDO ABOUT A BROTHER CARTRIDGE WHICH THE ASSOCIATE SAID THEY HAD IN STOCK. ASK IF THEY WOULD MATCH AMAZON PRICE FOR THE SAME EXACT CARTRIDGE. THE ASSOCIATE SAID THAT THEY DID NOT ALWAYS MATCH AMAZON PRICE EVEN IF IT THE SAME EXACT ITEM. I CALLED STAPLES AND THEY WOULD MATCH AMAZON PRICE AND I BOUGHT CARTRIDGE AT STAPLES.

...... stood in line for a simple printout from email. And 10 min later still busy with other customers... I could overhear the slow talking like my 90 year old grandma talks. All for a 1.60$ worth of work. Customer used coins for payment at the non register area and it dragged on for several more minutes like watching a really boring, sluggish movie draw out its last breathe...

Conny at the print center saved my home business! I have the most troublesome label sheets to print, and she solved the problem smoothly when no one else could. I owe her big time

Last time I was there I just made copies, I like that I have the option of someone making them for me or me doing it my self, there was a 2 people line waiting to be helped I would have been #3, I just made my own and was in and out no prob.

Jacob took time to explain all information I needed and was very polite unlike ass at Staples

I was standing in line waiting for CONNY to help me and this person just walks in goes to the register and she drops what shes doing to help him. She looks at me and still continues to help him. If they arent going to respect the line starts here sign then why have it up!

Just went to get ink for my printer and it was way more than I thought the price would be, anyway they have fast service and friendly they do have cheaper ink for the newer printers, so thats about it.

Understaffed and the place just seems unkempt. Feels a little rundown. Checkout person was nice just took awhile to get through the line.

After using my credit card here, I got an alert from Visa asking if I had made $400-worth of unusual purchases. I hadnt, but I had made the mistake of handing my card to the cashier at this location a couple days before. I remember it because the cashier had my card behind the counter for so long that Id actually asked what she was doing. I shouldnt have handed her my card, and I should have trusted my gut reaction more. It made a very difficult week that much harder.

This place never has anything I need, everything is over priced. I have no idea how this place stays open.

Absolutely horrible, i went in there, cash in pocket ready to buy a printer. Never was acknowleged an employee walked past me twice, looked at me and didnt say a single word. I ended up buying some cheap pens. Only Jhovanny at the copy center asked me if i found everything ok. Im not going back there anytime soon.
