This is actually the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I don’t think I’ve ever had a good experience to the point that even my DOCTOR told me not to use them and that I should switch. They move so incredibly slow and never have any medication in stock. I literally watched my doctor send in the script on his laptop and they told me for DAYS they never received anything from their office. I WAITED A MONTH FOR AN INHALER. Unbelievable. Looking at the other reviews I don’t understand how they haven’t made any changes yet.

This has to be the slowest Walgreens pharmacy in the region. Based on the other reviews here, they have to know theres a systemic service issue here. I have waited in line over 30 minutes on certain days. During my most recent visit, the staff told me the prescription would take 30 minutes, so I planned to run an errand and come back. As I was walking away from the pharmacy counter, I got an alert that it was ready right away - but I had to get back in the long line to pick it up. Whether drive thru or in-store, the waits are unacceptable. Much faster at the CVS down the block, so plan to transfer my prescriptions there. The fact that it has been like this for years, and considering all the reviews here, it tells me management doesnt really care.

This pharmacy is horrible. Long wait times, errors, issues communicating with doctors offices and with me. Being told things are ready when they aren’t, Indifferent management. Had to switch because of insurance. It’s been 2 years of nothing but frustration.

The pharmacy needs to step it up. They are ridiculously slow and they don’t care. I don’t normally go there, but I was visiting my mother. RIDICULOUS!

Called store to see if they rented or sold knee walkers. It took 4 people to even understand what I was talking about. Then I was put on hold and no one returned with an answer. Don’t go there for medical devices.

The Pharmacy is horrible. You wait in line for a long time no matter what time you go. Its horrible and their not friendly.

If I could give a 0 I would!! Terrible, rude service and unacceptable wait times for both the drive-through and in store pharmacy. Several times they just close the drive-through because they dont want to have to deal with it!

Worst pharmacy lines, inside and drive through, (regardless of day or time) I have ever experienced. Very understaffed and the staff that is working moves with absolutely no urgency at a snails pace. It is a 30-40 minute wait at all times (for a simple pick up of a pre-filled, ready to go prescription). It’s obnoxious. AVOID this pharmacy at all costs until Walgreens feels it’s in their budget to adequately staff this location.

Never had a problem. Yes the store is huge and doesnt have a lot of products but the employees are very nice if the line is long they do call other employees to open up other registers and the place is extremely clean. The pharmacy is always very busy but they try to move as fast as possible.

Drive through is always closed. I walked in and asked why. Several times they told me that the computer is slow. The last time I was told they closed it because they got busy... really!? So my wife is suppose to get out of the car and take the baby out of the car seat because your busy? Does McDonald’s close it’s drive through when it gets busy?

This is the worst pharmacy ever the stuff is the most unfriendly people of ever encounter and they talk to you like you’re dumb months months I’ve been trying to understand why my medication for my daughter is run out before and they’re making me think I’m overdoing it instead they’re giving me 83 day supply in charge and insurance for 90 day supply

Thorough and Dependable Pharmacy Staff! I have been coming to this location for nearly 18 years. [Worst remodel ever. Laid out like warehouse.] I have always relied upon the pharmacy staff to help with insurance processing, pointing out a jump in price due to a change in brand, tracking down difficult meds at other locations, and just plain decent service. They have never let me down. Ive been fortunate to have decent insurance which makes me easier to help than others. I have never seen them not help a customer to the best of their abilities. There are a few hard workers here who stand out but they are the people whove been there the longest so they know who they are! Thanks to my neighborhood pharmacy which happens to be at this otherwise lackluster Walgreens.

No 24 hour pharmacy. Came here in the middle of the night for medicine. The internet says pharmacy is 24 hour. The building says 24 hour pharmacy. NOT COOL WALGREENS

I went through the drive through to pick up a prescription and waited 20 minutes while watching the pharmacist take care of customers that arrived way after me, and yes the pharmacist clearly seen I was waiting at the drive through for my prescription. After waiting 20 minutes I went inside waking up my toddler who was napping in her car seat and with my 8 year old. I asked if the drive through was working and the pharmacist responded with where pretty busy so you got to bare with us and I responded with I did thats why I waited 20 minutes while you all kept taking customer after customer who arrived after me. No one ever apologized for making me wait and then making me come in to get my prescription. Trust me when I say I would of went in first but its not easy traveling with kids let alone a toddler hence the reason why I went through the drive through!

There is like NO sense of urgency at that pharmacy lol, its almost comedic. There can be like a line of 10 people and they act like a bunch of slow moving, oblivious jabronis behind the counter lol. They could all be verbally in woe and they wont even care at all.I would have people IN AND OUT like Gene N Judes

This is the most poorly run Walgreens I think my family has used, especially the pharmacy. The staff can be very rude and make it clear that they do not have patience or time for questions regarding medications or health. The checkout line is usually backed up and the staff appears to have no idea what is going on for the majority of the time. They are in desperate need of new management that can train their staff to represent their store correctly. On the other hand, the Walgreens in River Forest or on Madison Street are much better and I would highly recommend filling prescriptions/shopping for items at those locations.

I dont know I guess people have to complain about something. Everyone has been courteous to me every time Ive gone in since the new store opened. The store is immaculate and the lady at the pharm who helped me could not have been nicer. Wish I had caught her name but it was 4/23/2017 at 4:20pm and she was young and had blonde hair. Super nice!! I have no complaints about this store!

The pharmacy drive thru is for quick pick ups and drop offs. At some point if someone is taking an exuberant amount of time with out making a transaction they need to be directed to come inside. The last three times I visited the drive thru I sat there for over 25 mins

Update: May be switching to another pharmacy, only person in line, (in store) ignored for 5 minutes, then when the rude pharmacist finally helped me you could notice she was terribly SICK! COUGHING ON EVERYTHING, I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO TOUCH MY PRESCRIPTION! She should have stayed home, as a healthcare provider she should know better about the spread of germs.They spent all that time building this new one, and its awful. Cant find anything and usually only have one person working the counter, I have walked in and out after seeing 15 people standing in line before...

Not sure where yall are getting rude from. Ive never seen or experienced anyone rude their unlike other wallgreens. lines can be long and Ive had a few issues waiting on prescriptions but overall its a fine store

Staff can be helpful if youre in need of a prescription and they cant get ahold of your doctor. The culture has changed since it moved from the original, larger location.

Not helpful, extremely rude, and lazy. Never had an issue with Walgreens but this location is horrible!!! Seriously, the last thing a person that has a sick child needs to deal with attitude from employees!

I came for a brace and they told to go ask the cashiers and they made me wait for over 20 minutes and then tell me to go to another Walgreens. Waste of my time.

They are not professional at all ,waiting 45m on the line because doctor were busy with his cell phone, no store manager at this time, so disappointed Walgreens- please change your team..

We waited for 1+ hours for getting Covid Vaccine. I had an appointment at 4:40pm. Waited until 5:40pm, still waiting….. Slowest location in the whole world.
