He helped me find the correct parts I needed and even called me back to confirm the parts I ordered were in his hands before I got there. That is above and beyond service. Had a GREAT experience at this dealership. Our sales agent James Janowski was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process. James has gone above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and he didnt fall short in doing so. He made sure we didnt leave the dealership without knowing the features our 21 CR-V had, including some hidden not so commonly known/used ones . Just picked up our second Honda yesterday from Honda on Grand in 2 years! These guys are awesome and honest and so easy to work with . Called them at 9 and drove home at 1pm in our beautiful new car. Super smooth and easy.Two shout outs! One to James who is a terrific salesman. Because he doesn’t seem like a sales person at all! Just really knowledgeable and helpful, smart and sweet! Test drive on Thursday. Brought wife in for 2nd test drive on Friday. Very little haggling and had a deal within minutes of discussing. No back and forth to the manager- just straight to the deal. All parties happy. There was some body damage that they are fixing, gave us a loaner till it it will be ready. Fast, fair and friendly.

I was looking for a specific car to finance, and after another Honda dealer in the area increased the price for supposedly adding features that made the car “invincible”, I came into this Honda with a skeptical, distrustful predisposition. When I emailed Honda on Grand about them having the car I was looking for, Peter Farion responded and provided me with options on how to visit, test drive, and reserve the car (it was in transit to the dealer). He maintained communication, he gave numbers upfront and did not change it, and i traded in my leased vehicle for a great trade in price. When we spoke with Daniel, the finance guy, he provided all financing options in a clear and concise way. When the car arrived (which it arrived earlier than expected), we came in, examined the car, figured out financing options, all within 2 hours. They do not waste your time. I strongly recommend this dealership to anyone wanting straightforward service, consistent honesty, and responsiveness to emails and phone calls! Thank you Peter and Honda on Grand!

Was very interesting experience. We were about to buy from other dealership but this dealership matched the price, updated the van with the latest updates and then made ready for the delivery. We were not available to pick up so they delivered the vehicle at our home. Proffessional people. They will deliver which they promised. Very tough negotiators but if they know that the customer is serious, he will do his best to earn your business.

Vehicle not returned for 3 weeks and mechanical/electrical issues still weren’t addressed. We were told to try another dealer (what?) or contact Honda National. Isn’t that their job? So we’re in the same place as where we started.Also we never received a call with an update. At least 5 times we had to call to find out what was going on.At least they told us they’d wash the vehicle before we picked it up…. but then they didn’t do that either.

Their finance team answered all of our questions especially in regards to the extended warranty. Their parts and service team was also excellent and was able to install the crossbar the same day that I bought the vehicle. Yes, I will purchase another vehicle from them.

Its a tough time to buy a car. Vince DOronzo at Elmhurst on Grand found us the make and model we wanted, with the interior and exterior colors we preferred, and gave us a price we thought was fair in this market. (Wed been trying to buy a car since this summer, and had two bad experiences with other dealers that promised us a car at a certain price, only to renege on the deal.) It was a good experience and we will reach out to Vince again if we are in the market for another Honda.

So, I have never felt the need to comment on the internet about a dealership because I never had anything nice to say. Igor and the team at Honda on Grand were wonderfully accommodating to me and my daughter when we went to look for a larger family vehicle. We picked out a 2021 pilot on Saturday and over the weekend werent 100% happy with it. On Monday Igor was able to get us into a better model. 100% would recommend this dealership.

Horrible Experience.First off, they changed my cabin filter ($110) for 5 dollar part which they switched last time. Why did I agree to this? I did not agree, he used some fancy words to say a b12 maintenance check or something along those lines. When I asked him what this entailed after they completed it he told me Cabin Filter and Air filters for ($110) What a joke. Last, my car is 2 years old and my a/c was not working. They said they had a problem with the condensers and it could be free. They added more Freon and told me they did all these tests and now it works. ($160) for Freon, but they claim no it was not for just the Freon they did a condenser check and since Honda has bad condensers they are Warranted for 10 years. Basically, they made it sound like a problem when it was all just Freon for $160 bucks. What a rip never coming to a Honda Again.For an Oil change and a bunch of we had to check everything else outs it cost $370 have some integrity Honda.

Dont go here with a CVT they will blame it all on that , They didnt own up to leaving my car with out oil loosing my bottom cover ,. Timing chain was replaced still grinding on cold start ,. What weird is that other shops and Honda in Naperville seem to understand and see something is wrong I guess I have to drive 30 miles away for service ... Their avoiding me at all cost beware with these people and their stories , not honestly working on cars I have a lot the proof on files and videos ,. Looking at what steps I should be taking next ... trying to get Honda Corp to contact me. ..To my luck the guy fired was the guy who left all my spark plugs loose low oil and my chain still grinding and Lord knows how the transmission flush was done my car has never been the same 😔😔😡

It is impossible to get in contact with a financial advisor over the phone. My partner and I went to see a financial advisor on Tuesday at 9am and the only one available was extremely rude. He spoke to us in a degrading manner and when we’d ask any question, he would answer it with basic answers. We came with several questions, but with the way he was speaking to us, we didn’t feel comfortable. Why be an advisor in any field if you’re too lazy to speak to your customers. Please find another job because you clearly hate yours.

Best experience with a Honda service department. Had a recall on my 2017 Honda Civic. Only ones to take it in, do what needed to be done and fixed it. In the process I was told it wouldnt fixed the same day but got a loaner so I could continue with my everyday life. Other dealers told me if it took longer then need they could only give me a ride home and then pick me up. Now I have to go collect a refund from the other dealer that charged me for my recall the first time.Will be back to Honda on Grand for all my service. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

It was a busy day and I had made an appointment for my car to be serviced, but was warned it could take awhile. I dont know if someone called my name while I had headphones on, listening to music to pass the time, but I received an email that my car was done after about an hour and a half, so I went to the cashier even though I had already paid via email. I was given my key and paperwork and sent on my way. An employee had to help me find my car by pressing the alarm on the key fob, which was effective. Everything went pretty smoothly and I intend to continue using this dealership for service.

I went thereon 7/24 to buy a CR-V hydbrid. Nothing in stock. They wanted to charge me $3000 extra to order the car ahead! No other Honda dealer was up charging this. Went to another local Honda dealer and bought the car same day. No up charge.I know this is a pandemic but this is just taking advantage of people. I will not be back now or ever. Shady dealer.

Shame on you Honda On Grand and you David Taub. My 65yr old mom went in for recall work and you wanted 1000 bucks for break work stating that her brakes needed to be replaced. The rotors are smooth as glass and the worst Front pad is over 3mm (and you said 1mm in your inspection). I replaced the front figuring the other side was bad but the other side was just as good. The rear pads are also at 3mm (they are smaller and dont have the line).

We really enjoyed this dealerships no nonsense approach. They did not try any overly aggressive sales tactics like other dealerships. It was refreshing! We worked with Ricky, and he was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. Their finance department was also easy to work with and did not try to pressure us even when we were there past closing time. Like other reviewers said, they are not pushy. I love that we were able to negotiate with Ricky (our sales rep) throughout the whole process. They honored the internet price for the car. Although we couldnt complete the trade-in of our car with them, they gave us good advice for where to trade in our car and it all worked out great.

Avoid meeting Deon (one of the sales manager). He has absolutely no knowledge on how to talk with customers. Very harsh style of communication. Honda on Grand has lost my business simply because of the way Deon was talking. I have such a wonderful experience. I only went into the dealer to take a quick look at the Honda odyssey because I was comparing it to the Chrysler Pacifica. When we arrive to the dealer they were waiting for us at the door and open the door for us and greeted us. I was very impressed. The sales person I worked with was Fidel and he was wonderful and very pleasant to work with. We told him from the beginning that we were only there to look and that didn’t seem to sway his attitude at all. He he was ready to show us any vehicle we wanted. He was very patient because I kept not understanding the difference between trim levels and he was very helpful with showing us multiple models. When he got down to talking about the price, we still made it very clear that we were not going to purchase anything because we had a current lease with Ford. He went above and beyond to help us determine the cost of our lease versus purchasing that other vehicle. The customer service at Ford was awful. They were giving us a very hard time finding out information about my lease.He had the wonderful idea of just going to the other dealership across the street to get information. At the end of the day, we were able to purchase the Honda odyssey which was our dream car and we drove out of there with the model we wanted! The dealer went above and beyond to match the purchase price of our lease and we left extremely happy. At the end of the purchase Fidel sat with me for a while in the vehicle to give me a little orientation even though the dealer was already closed. Financing the vehicle and signing the papers did take a long time, but I guess that is the process when purchasing a vehicle. Since we were not prepared to be there all day, I got a little antsy waiting but it was worth it in the end.One more thing, the dealer was extremely busy that day but not once did I feel rushed or did I feel that the attention was in on me. I was able to view any vehicle I wanted and I was able to test drive multiple vehicles as well.

I went in there for the first time for an oil change. I asked for a special favor - I needed to install a mount and needed help loosening up a screw which was very difficult and in a very tight spot. I did buy a wrench but still was not the right size. The guys at this facility helped me out for free! They probably saved me a few hours by helping me. I understand it only took them 2 minutes to help me which is not a big deal from their perspective. But I don’t know anything about tools. So by the time I would have gotten the right tool and tried to fix the screw, it would have taken me a few hours. I really appreciate the help and hope I have a great experience with them next time also.

Long story short: I test drove a vehicle at Honda on Grand, apparently left my drivers license in the vehicle, and they held on to my license for over TWO WEEKS without contacting me. Honda on Grand contacted me twice to follow up about purchasing a vehicle, but didnt find it pertinent to mention they had my ID on hand. Within 10 seconds of calling, the operator cheerfully informed me that they were in possession of it. Simply fascinating that they called me to come back down to buy a vehicle and conveniently forgot to let me know they had my license ready to go.

The process went very quickly however the sales person did not take me through the features of the car or help me pair my phone up. Basically just pointed to where the car was. The car was not plated for a test drive or even offered. The finance manager did not give a good turnover to the cashier so there a lot of confusion on the amount to be paid. There was nothing that set apart this dealership from others.

If I had the choice, I would love to bring my car into the Downtown Chicago Location, but their customer service is AWFUL!!!! Great place for great service especially for express service. Went another show room for an unexpected trouble, also explained to them. As per them that are overbooked and ask me to take an appointment which was for next week. Dears, when a lay man coming to with unexpected problems in a New Honda vehicle, its your basic courtesy to atleast adress and make sure that guy is out of trouble rather than tell them come with appointments. I trust them more than most dealers in the area. Dan and James helped us through the purchase and were great. This time I felt like I was short changed. Im shifting more of the blame towards Honda Financial. I am a Army Vet and didnt qualify for the Veteran Discount Offer. I guess serving 5 years active duty wasnt enough. No first responder incentive including police/fire and even nurses. Thats sad. Then 6 days after our purchase cause we bought during the end of year sale... the incentives got even better. So we fell for the rush in before the event is over. Call in to see if we can get that incentive... youre S...O...L. Thanks Honda.In the end if you want a Honda and dont know where to go... Go here. I felt more comfortable dealing with them than other dealers.

I scheduled a A/C repair on my CRV a week in advanced, I showed up stating I had an appt and had take the day off work to have the service performed only to be told their technicians were on strike and were unable to perform the service. I asked why I wasnt contacted and the response was it just happened yesterday. I guess my issue is if your service writers have no work to do because they cant service any vehicles why would they not be calling appts to make them aware of situation. If your customers time is not important to you then I will take it to a dealer that respects their time.

David Taub helped me with my service. It was a pretty hefty service and he took care of me in every way possible. I was going to have to be there all day and he offered to find me a ride home so I didnt have to uber. But he ended up finding a courtesy vehicle for me to take.When I went to pick up my car there was some dirt leftover from the mechanic on my beige seats and David apologized and had the dirt removed quickly and to my satisfaction.He was great and I felt like I was in good hands. I will definitely trust David and Honda to help me with future services.

Service is good, pricing is standard and staff is accommodating. Down side, for me, was that they didn’t complete any of the courtesy maintenance, like filling the fluids, checking the tire pressure, etc. I went in for an oil change and upgraded to having the transmission fluid changed, costing a total of $300, and they couldn’t put air in the tires and fill the windshield wiper fluid. I think that shows a lack of customer appreciation

They are good people at Honda on Grand. Dealer repair shops always get a bad rap on their prices for repairs. I dont like paying them either but these guys are not pushy trying to sell you what you dont need. You get what you pay for and genuine parts always last longer then after market parts at the cheeper guys.

I bought a used car here a couple of years ago. Ive held off on writing a review because I know it would be just obnoxiously angry. I still am upset about the process. The car was fine enough, the sales guy was nice enough. Online there was one price and in store another ($1,000 difference). I told em to honor the online price. They said for the extra $1,000 theyd touch up/detail the paint on some of the small rough spots. They did by essentially having a five year old splotch some paint over it. A literal five year old could have done a better job. I would never recommend them. I wish I would have just told them to forget about it. All they care about is money. I should have told them forget it and saved myself the $1000 and a lot of stress.

Vince, the salesman, was great. Sales manager was very reasonable, got a good deal on a used car. Finance guy was great. My one gripe: their document fee is OUTRAGEOUS. They charge $303.60 to fill out documents, the legal maximum theyre allowed to charge in IL. Some states only allow $75 max. My mother would disown me if she caught me charging $300 to fill out a few forms. I would have walked out of the dealership over that if the rest of the process hadnt been so good. Would have been 5 stars otherwise, shame on them.
