I want to commend Pharmacy Technician Ms. Jiwon Ho, who last week assisted us in scheduling our appointments and generated the paperwork for my husband Frank and I to receive our Covid booster shots at Walgreens on October 9th. The pharmacist, Ms. Emmanuelle who gave us the shots was very professional. After obtaining the necessary information from us, she did a great job at delivering the Covid booster in arms.The Pharmacy Technician Ms. Jiwon, the Pharmacist Ms. Emmanuelle, and the other staff members we encountered at the pharmacy counter are all excellent employees. We appreciate their untiring service during this pandemic. It was our first time using Walgreens’ pharmacy and we were impressed by the professionalism of the employees and the cleanliness of the store. Kudos to all!

The pharmacy continually messes up, not having prescriptions ready even after they text you saying it is ready. I put up with it for too long and am taking my familys business elsewhere.

The store manager is very rude!! Avoid this location if you can ! I got Covid-19 shot there and it said to give $25 reword. Since I did not have account with them before, the pharmacy casher gave my reword to other people without asking me. I found out this when I was trying to use the reward to buy groceries. The Casher could not help and referred me to the store manager. However, the store manager did not even want to resolve the problems, push me back to call online help. I asked her what the online help can do without an account. then she asked me to keep 6-feet away from her and told me she couldn’t help. – at that time, the Mask is not required. Also She had just talked with others face to face without masks. Then turned around to use 6-feet as excuse to push me away. No wonder there are so many bad reviews on this location…. Avoid this location if you can !!

It took me 25 minutes to get to the drive through. They were only 2 customers in front of me. It is my second time, and I am transferring all of my prescriptions to CVS mail.

It would be 1 star if based solely on the pharmacy, but every time Ive been in the store the cashiers have been friendly and helpful.The pharmacy used to be great, but as a few others have mentioned, it went down hill about a year ago. Drive through line takes as long to get through as CVS with half the cars, but even beyond that, the service in the pharmacy is a coin toss. Sometimes theyre great, but when theyre not its so bad I wonder if its a hidden camera show.Example 1: dropped off my prescription, they said 1 hour. 3 hours later they said it wasnt ready and to come back the next day. Anticipating an issue (from a previous experience) I asked if the medicine was even in stock. Then they said my insurance wouldnt cover it. I asked to get the paper prescription back, went to CVS and it was filled in under an hour. And my insurance paid for it.Example 2: car ahead of me got their prescription, I pull up and as I get to the window they lower the blind, while making eye contact, without so much as pointing in the direction of the sign with their hours. I was thrown off, then realized it was their lunch break (they really need a sign for that) and the window closes on the minute lunch starts. I went and got my own lunch, came back and waited for the window to open. It does not open the minute lunch is over, more like 10 minutes after lunch is over. Im not saying they should get less time for lunch, just put up an accurate sign.Example 3: my doctor sent them the prescription I get every month last Tuesday and I got the confirmation text (not sure if I have to click the link, but I always do). I got another confirmation text Thursday, asking for my DOB, so I figured it may not have gone through until then. Its Monday and they told me its not quite ready and to come back in half an hour. Apparently filling that prescription takes 96.5 hours and I arrived after only 96 hours. Headed back now to see if that was a lie. I dont mind issues coming up, but why lie about what the issue is?

Have been on hold for over twenty minutes waiting for the status of a photo card order. The reason for this rating is the horrible piano music I have had to listen to for almost half an hour. Nerve wracking. Please put on some quiet, soothing music if you are going to make me wait on hold this long. Isn’t life stressful enough already?

Terrible drive thru service. I had to call them twice- they only finally sent someone when I told them there was a line and one person had given up and driven off. My husband had the exact same experience except he had to call THREE times!

This place has gone down hill.... Drastically, in the last few months. Drive thru takes 20 min on average.... If theyre open at all. The last few times theyve been closed due to computer issues. Inside is even longer. Pharmacy staff seems lost. Flu shot line was rediculously long and I was there just to pick up a prescription which was even longer. Unfortunately its not just one time. This has happened 4 times already. Im going to change my store!

Extremely upset that I went here on my lunch break to get my nerve pain medicine and I arrived 30 seconds late apparently. Their lunch break is 1:30 to 2 PM but you get there and there is no sign stating that. Myself and 4 other people found out from the people up front at checkout. Now I’ve wasted an entire lunch break. The best part was when I was waiting in the seating area and one of the pharmacists was about to leave but asked me if I was waiting on a prescription (that is already filled and ready to go), I said yes, he went back to the computer and asked for my name and looked up but then came back over to me and said that I had to wait until they were done their lunch break and then he left.

What a disaster. They couldnt find my Rx at first,, then they realized it wasnt filled yet. They told me it would be 10 minutes and to just loop around the drive thru. I did, but now I have been in the drive thru line for 25 minutes.

This is much better than other Walgreens that I have been too. Its quick and easy to get in and out. Sometimes the diabetic supplies are empty and I have to ask for at the pharmacy and that takes time. Would be nice for it to be stocked as soon as empty, but I am a patient person.

August 5th 2020, they sent me a text at 1pm telling me my med is ready for pickup, so i went to pickup at 140pm, pharmacy is closed until 2 pm.Why do they close??? Multiple other customers had to leave the store.

The pharmacy is wonderful. They have gone out of their way for me on more than one occasion. Ive been a loyal Walgreens customer for more than a decade but when I moved the one by me was horrible, they were always out of stock on the shelves and of certain medications and literally every prescription I filled was not ready when it was supposed to be. I now go out of my way to go to this location.

The managers at this store are a lot better then the one in frederick md. They at least have a clue what sales are going on in their stores. They can read a coupon and understand what it says. Kuddos to these managers for helping customers make purchases instead of arguing because they do not know what they are doing.

The store has reduced the number of hours it is open (from being open 24 hours a day in the start). The pharmacy section is underutilized.There is virtually no wait and the pharmacy staff has been consistently customer friendly. If you are tired of waiting elsewhere, this is definitely worth a try.

The pharmacy is great. They deserve 5 stars, the cashiers on the other end are about 2 stars. Some are good but lately, not so much.Too many times I would be the only person in line or one other person and they just ignore me. They would be talking for 3 minutes. One guy looked at me as his coworker was talking to him. She didnt notice me and apologize. He didnt even tell her, just looked at me. Jerk.Another time the cashier kept talking to the customer they checked out who had one item. I waited and waited.. Rude.Another time I waited as coworkers were talking to each other and one just standing there on her phone. Seriously? These people have jobs..I dont expect much. Just get check me it and you can talk to each other after I leave. Jeez.Im tired of shopping lately. People out there in need of jobs and they cant even do theirs. Im ashamed of my generation in the work place.If Amazon had my product available cheaper, I would never come here unless I used the pharmacy.

They never stock enough of the sale items. The shelves are always empty of the items that have deals that week. Also, their supervisors are rude! Incredibly bad customer service! They make no effort whatsoever to help when a customer has a issue & seem to have no regard for their own employees - the cashiers.

Worst drug store in Ellicott City. Never have medicines, have screwed up medicines, and over charged for medicines. I have so many bad things to say about this store, I dont know were to start. All I can say dont go there, and if you do, youll only go once.I warned you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
