One of your drivers in a van. Drove down my street, so I figured Id give it a shot. After he left I opened everything, these ribye look old and like they have been sitting a while, they are turning very dark. I purchased the filet, same issue looked very dark and didnt taste good at all. Waste of money, ALDI has better meats.I even texted the driver, since he gave me his number. He asked how the meat was, once I sent pictures and told him, i never heard from him again.

We have bought meats from them over the course of years ago up to recently from the same salesman Matt and no complaints or issues at all from the meat to Matt would recommend and will buy from again.

Salesman was very nice. The sirloin and filets are very tough, not even edible. The chicken is good. I have sent 2 emails with no response. Will never order again.

Nothing is as unfair as when you dont get what is expected to be in a box of seafood that you buy and find out its chicken instead and when you inform the boss thats what happened and he assures you he will take care of it. I was upset to see the boy who sold me the meats was still working there. So make sure you get what you pay for .

Ive never purchased anything from this company. Thats why I gave 3 stars. This is not a review of the product. As I see from other reviews it is common for employees to approach strangers to sell meat. My wife was home alone with my two toddlers tonight when an employee knocked on our door. The man simply stated he was delivering meat to one of our neighbors and asked if she wanted to buy any. When she stated we were vegetarians and not interested the man said seriously? and proceeded to look around at our property. Could have been innocent enough, but none the less it put my wife on guard. My wife called me and told me what happened so I was a bit guarded when I got home about 10 minutes later and I parked behind their van that was sitting out front of my house. Couldnt figure out why they were still sitting there so I walked to the back of the van and snapped a picture of their plate. Right after I did that they started backing the van up and I watched them back right into my car. I yelled at them and after inspecting my car with the driver there didnt appear to be any damage. The driver did apologize profusely, but it didnt really make up for their earlier behavior. I highly recommend this company stop approaching strangers to sell meat. It is giving you a bad reputation.Edit: moments after posting this review my wife informs me that the driver was actually offering the meat to her for free. I feel this changes the situation some and Id like to apologize to the driver for the way I behaved if he is reading this. I hope your day got better after we met.

Strike two was flipping us off as he walked to the next condo after being told kindly We are not interested, We are sick and would like to go back to bed.

The Meat Shoppe Van stopped at our house late in the afternoon on a Thursday. Three guys were in the van. One guy, Manny, was the main salesman. We have a deal for you.... The meat is terrible. No taste, leather tough. Do NOT PURCHASE MEAT from them.

I purchase meat on 10/25/2019 and the same night I thawed out a piece of steak to cook and while the outside of the meat was nice and red the inside was dark and slimy. I called my representative Steve who sold me the meat that night and the number he gave stated his number couldn’t accept calls. I called the number on the receipt and it was someone who doesn’t work for that company anymore. This individual gave me another number which I was been calling everyday since 10/25/2019 without even a return call. I called the number listed on the website and had to leave a message and as of 10/30/2019 No one has even attempted to call me back. Worst experience ever and I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worse enemy.

So, I was just getting home from shopping. I was getting out my truck with about 6 shopping bags, my purse and some other bags. I was clearly not in a position to listen to sales pitch. This van comes to a quick stop trying to sell me meat. I advise I am vegan (plant based eater only not really vegan)...which I am. However my mom likes seafood, she wasnt with me but I asked for a card or number. See, we spend a lot on seafood on the weekends about 2x a month about 150 to 200. This would have been good if they had deals. They didnt have cards, numbers or anything. I like to research before I buy and buying seafood out the back of a van is not very smart. At any cost, seeing I was predisposed and struggling they still pushed to show me the meat. See, this is a bad salesman. A good salesman would have offered to help with the bags and had a contact number ready and would have gotten a sale if, not then definitely in the future. I am glad though because after reading the reviews which most are bad I am glad I passed.

We bought the meat 2 days ago and I was extremely hesitant after seeing all the negative reviews. But I can say nothing is wrong with it. Ive cooked the steak fillets and there were a few tendons in those but that may just be the nature of the cut of beef. Last night I cooked the philly flat steak cuts and those turned out wonderful!The salesman was able to talk my husband into buying these (I wasnt home at the time) which was already impressive because my man says NO to everyone.As for the cost of the meat, you can look at their menu online and see what the price difference would be if you got everything from Walmart or some other place. Honestly I didnt mind the price because every piece of meat was individually wrapped and vacuumed sealed. If you buy this kind of stuff from a supermarket you have to section it out and seal it up yourself and hope it doesnt go bad too soon. This meat came with a 1yr guarantee of its freshness. Overall it was worth the price for convienece and packaging. Its been delicious but that takes practice cooking it correctly.

I threw it all away. Meat wasn’t fit for a dog. It looks good when frozen but once it thaws it instantly smells rotten, and turns brown in color. If you do decide to cook it please sharpen your chainsaw blades cause that’s what you’ll need to cut through it. Don’t get scammed like me! Nasty stuff. SCAM!

Two times now I have been approached by this companies creepy pushy salesmen. You really need to stop your employees from approaching women who are alone in parking lots. I also dont appreciate them asking me for gas money! Next time Im calling the police and the better business bureau.

They were Horrible because I wouldnt buy their meat. Said I couldnt make a decision without my husband that they made more money than my husband makes, called me fat. I have them on video driving off calling me fat. They did all of this with my girlfriends children standing there. They said if we didnt get her dog they would run it over. Horrible people and the company condones that behavior is a horrible company. If I could give no stars then that is what you would get. They disrespected my girlfriend when she said no and said well didnt you invite us to show you and she replied no you just bombarded me on my porch. Bad Men-Bad Company

What a big mistake I made. I was caught off guard by the high pressure salesman who knocked at my front door. I wound up buying a seafood box for 189.00$. I see now the contents of the box: 4 lobster tails, 5 pds shrimp, 5 pds crab legs, two large tuna fillettes, could not possibly be 189.00 value when compared with supermarket prices. Don’t be duped like I was!
