Huge Walmart. Nice to have a MC Donalds inside. Great rotisserie chicken. Very reasonable price.You should be able to find what you are looking for

Absolutely the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. None of the employees seem knowledge or even acted like they wanted to help me. I actually had a person in electronics tell me I should go to Target to get what I was looking for. After picking up a few other items I headed for checkout shocked at the poor customer service I just had. I stood in the checkout line for 27 minutes and for whatever reason they didn’t open any more lines. However there was a group of employees standing around and doing nothing while the lines got longer and longer. Very frustrating. To top off the bad experience the women at the register told me I had all my bags but when I got home I noticed that several things on my receipt were not in the bags. So I called the store and it took me 30 minutes of calling and hanging up and trying different departments before a live person finally answered a phone. I asked to speak to a manager and the young man said he would transfer me to the managers office only to have the phone ring and ring before an aromatic disconnection finally happened. I will never shop at Walmart again and I will definitely tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. I will however take the one employees advice and do ALL of my shopping at Target going forward.

This store is much better than the location in Bear. Although they also did not have the Canadian Dry ginger-ale cans, that is now a requirement in my household, I was able to purchase the 2-liter bottles instead. Most of what I need can be found here and that is great. The store layout is easy and efficient. The employees are friendly and communicative.

Excellent place to find various household items at a good price such as clothing accessories for vehicles food at a good price I like to go to this place a lot, footwear to work

This store has improved since the last time I was there. Theyve done some resets and gotten new mobile carts. There was a problem with some empty shelves however, it might have been because of the shipping container issues offshore.

If I could give no stars. I would. Do not go here.

The New Castle County Delaware store managers should take lessons from this manager. Or maybe the New Castle residents should take lessons on manners, self respect and humanity from this stores clientele.

My 3yr old grandson calls this his favorite store. He always gets a toy from their large selection after we do our grocery shopping. I also get most of my summer pool and garden supplies here.

Visited the vision care today for an updated eye exam and glasses. Everyone there was professional and very friendly. I definitely would recommend for anyone to go here. I got a high end pair of frames and new lenses for a great price.

Older cashier ringing up her own customer in check out line yelling at the customers who were standing in line that customer service was closed. She cant keep help between 7-10. Then to yell at us that its not her fault! It was 7:35pm.Meanwhile 3 employees were just standing around the area. Why cant there be better scheduling and 2 back up employees at least until 8pm with less hostile employees. I didnt see any other employees so upset over 3 customers standing in customer security. My husband didnt appreciate the attitude when none was giving to be received in front of our children so we left and bought a grill somewhere else. Totally ruined vibes because of the way the employee spoke not even because customer service was closed but still taking care of other customers. Not every customer is nuisance to be spoken to that way. Just as the employee working behind the customer service counter wasnt being rude as she was still assisting customers.

I can always find what Im looking for at Walmart its a convenient place to do my shopping for supplies.

Typically clean and well organized, though they do seem to be restocking fairly often which can make things a bit cluttered. Staff is fairly friendly and helpful. Its a Walmart, Im not sure what else to say.

I live right next to  Walmart 8n Delaware but the Elkton SuperStore is a completely different experience. Its bigger, has food shopping,  and I picked up my contact lenses from the vision center. We dont have vision centers in any Walmart in Delaware as far as I know. They have their own mini Joann Fabric isle, two isles actually.  And its a no brainer that the prices are almost a third less. I used to frequent Joanns because  its close by and if I saw people looking at anything I knew Walmart had , I  jumped in and told them exactly how much the same things cost at Walmart.  I love being around crafts but would be a terrible associate at Joanns.The last visit to Joanns it was so empty and nothing was where it used to be and couldnt find a LOT of basic sewing supplies.  Walmart doesnt have isles of fabric but when they say less is more that is as accurate as it can get.  They had fabric Ive never seen at Joanns, like soft cotton Wonder Woman prints. Its was the WW symbol not the character but I found a few fat quarters of her. Ive been wanting that tattoo for so long for 2 reasons: she stands for Truth,  Love and Justice.  And shes a lawyer.  I stand for was she stands for. But there was so much more and I will only go to Joanns for maybe 2-3 things.Back to Walmart and not my aspirations in life,  we went to the Walmart near us last night and I could NOT find a bathing suit. One rack and it was bikini tops and no bottoms. I havent worn a two piece since my early 20s and dont plan to go back to them even when I get in better shape.To conclude this essay written in manic enthusiasm,  I love the Elkton Walmart.  There are associates that silently scream they hate their job, and I understand their pain. They stock all day or deal with people who stand in line on their phone having a very heated fight on speaker so the subject is clear and sometimes questionable if they do intend to murder the other party. I usually hear enough to just shout We all can hear you! And that baseball bat is obviously not because you play, so take your terroristic threatening charges outside no one wants or cares about your unstable family! But Im sorry about your dog,  Frank, I love boxers, Im sorry for your loss. NOW HANG UP , TAKE YOUR BAT AND GET OVER YOURSELF! That actually did happen a few years ago, I didnt make up any words I said.Walmart is not a fun place to work, but somehow they manage to smile and help you if you cant find the power drills. Thank you for being the place I will drive far from my house just to get shopping done!

Neat,clean shelves stock,super Walmart. It was easy to check with self check out stations, but there wasnt too many full service check out available. Its was definitely worth the drive!

I ordered groceries to be delivered to my side door because i have a broken leg and it is very hard for me to walk. Delivery came on time and the driver left them on my front porch. It took me 1 hour to get my groceries in the house. I yelled out window to take to side door and he just kept walking back to his car. Ice cream melted and it was a mess. They need to read delivery instructions. Will not use Walmart again!!

I walked in to the vision center today and asked a question and an employee named Chris was very snippy and rude to me. Very unprofessional. If someone nicely asks a question, they shouldnt be rude. Avoid this Walmart for glasses and find another place to go.

So they took out all of their price checkers and you’re told you have to use the app- on your phone… fine. But the price isn’t always correct- and god forbid they honor the websites price. Today I found something I need- checked the price and it came up $190- ok sure. Took it to the register and it rang up $269- the manager on made me walk all the way back to the isle when I already told her I got it from the over stock. Then wouldn’t honor the price I’m made to look for due to improper stocking- never having inventory (online says it’s in stock- in store they rarely will actually have the product) or incompetent workers. This isnt the first time I’ve had issues with them but today was the last straw with Elkton Walmart- from now on I’ll eat the gas and go to target. They’re better all around-

Walmart is a soulless place... its a shame I waited in line for 20 mins to buy 3 things because i refuse to use the self checkout normally because i prefer the experience of a cashier most of the time but its a crying shame no self checkout was set up to take cash and the items I was purchasing I was using my foodstamps for and cash for my paper products. Smh I guess I got my stuff cheap but definitely wasnt convenient. And its weird how 95% of the people working at Walmart look miserable and you hardly ever see any of the employees or even managers smiling lol.

Is very clean and the people that work theyre very bright and very helpful and always have a smile on your face that was nice

I went to return an item I no longer wanted, the same item I such a negative experience trying to return to the Wilton Blvd (Rt 40) store 2 weeks ago.The difference in the experience was like the difference between night and day. Here in Elkton, I waited in the wrong line by mistake with only one person ahead of me. In New Castle, the line was too long (10-12 people) for me to bother waiting.The clerk apologized to me for having me wait in the wrong line and directed me to the correct section to compile my return. When I reached area just a few steps away, there was no one else waiting to serviced.I was in and out of the store so quickly, I completely forgot that I needed to make a purchase, left the store and had to return to do my shopping.I have no idea what the problem is in the New Castle store but I strongly suggest that someone in regional authority should make an effort to remedy the situation. Patrons of that store, based on my experience there, are not getting service commensurate with that of the other Walmart stores the region.I wont return to the Wilton store and I will caution anyone I know to avoid it as well.JMCKCLARK

If I ever went into this store and came out with everything I went after I think I would keel over. The shelves are always empty even on the start of the weekend when everything should be stocked. And the employees stocking shelves wouldnt move out of your way if their life depended on it. I was trying to get a product off the shelf and two employees were stocking. I said excuse me so I could get through and I was ignored so I went to Acme to get what I needed. This store gas really gone downhill. Ive started going to Acme and Shop Rite. I have to spend more but its better coming out empty handed.

Shelves were bare selection very limited. Store was a mess staff no where to be seen. Those things are tolerable what is the worst is the store is no longer 24hrs. Elkton Walmart has always been my late night store.😫😫😫Late night store no more😫😫😫

I always say Im never shopping here again and I go right back. There are never cashiers on. 5pm and 2 cashiers at a supercenter.... Only 3 self check out....just ridiculous. The shelves were so bare had to take a product to knock another product over on top shelf so I could reach it. I think Im finally done at Walmart.

Seriously, they dont take cash at the self check out. So you have to go stand in lines that are 5 deep. Makes no sense. When did cash become a bad thing.

Love the produce and bakery sections! Tons of choices. Some items like the cereal only came in family size, wish regular size was available. Could have a better soft drink selection as well. Prices are great. My new store for shopping.

One of the worse walmarts Ive ever been to. They didnt have anything and when I asked employees where something was i was met with slack jawed blank stares. Really? The one who tried to help me was nice there was an unfortunate language barrier. Idk step up your game Ive yet to find a walmart that was worse.

I was just at the walmart in Elkton. Had to pick up some items I needed for my 5 oclock appointment. The lines are outrageous. They do not have the self serve lines up only 4 and only 2 people at the registers. There was no supervisor to be found near the registors. When I asked the greeter she apologized and said she did not know who the manager was on duty. There were people walking out leaving their stuff, I was one of them. So now I am late with none of the stuff I neede. I called the store back and they gave me the excuse that the machines were broken and Staff shortage. When I said that people were walking out and I was one of them she put me on hold. Then she came back and said they are putting people on the register. This was bad service. The manager should have been on register when they saw the lines that long. This was bad service.

Went this past Saturday night around 10pm .had a horrible waitress food was nothing special. Ordered something off the menu waitress comes back to table 20 min later handing me a menu telling me that the prime rib sip sandwich was no longer available.(why still on menu)?? Then waitress forgot to come back to get my order my husband had to go find our waitress so i can re order. She comes over to the table telling us that she completely forgot to come back for my second order. Total dissatisfaction. Never again! New waitresses please horrible service

It was 10 oclock at Night.there is no cashiers it was all self check out. Store was very pick through a lot of New merchandice on floor to be Put on the shelves. Front end supervisor is very nice and patient. Was out of a lot of items.

Picked up my Wal-Mart grocery order only to find I was missing about $86 worth of products! I called the pick up line to see if they accidently forgot to pick my full order and the gentleman was extremely rude and just told me to call for a refund. thank goodness whoever I spoke to was very kind and assisted me with the refund process. This wouldnt have been so bad, but this isnt the first time it has happened.

By 10 pm, I found many fruit trays empty. Thats all.Other than that.... its a walmart... affordable and great deals.

Never enough lanes open. You are forced to self checkout. I went in once and absolutely NO cashier assisted Lane was open.

I have to admit...just super excited to come here due to the fact that the employees dont look as angry as other Walmart employees.

Always poor customer service as expected. I needed a kids bike and the person who helped me acted as if she was doing me a huge favor. After some huffing and puffing she got someone with a fork lift to get the bike in box from the top shelf. But they refused to assemble it although Walmart says on their website they provide free assembly. But who are we kidding, this is Walmart we are talking about.

Walmart was okay they didnt have a big selection on womans clothing and other stuff if you want to buy beer or any alcoholic beverage they dont sell any. The lines to pay are so long you have to wait for a long time. also it was hot inside

Walmart rocks!! This super center is wonderful. Theres ample parking both handicapped and all others. You can usually find almost ANYTHING you need.Today I made a return and the sales associate was so friendly. We had a good laugh when I explained why I returning my item.I would recommend this Walmart to everyone in the area. Whether you live there or just passing through as I was.

No problems today. I was in and out within 15 min. Glad I went early.

Employees wear masks however their all either on their chins or on underneath their noses. Tons of them on their phones and when youre looking around for one for help, theyre nowhere to be found.

Over all the store is OK. Grocery and frozen dept are always empty, no matter what day and or time my wife and I go to do our shopping.Prices are good so we do a majority of our shopping here. But will travel to the next town over to get proper service.

As consumers should we expect good customer service? I say yes, and this particular walmart needs improvement in this area. I always feel like Im in the way of employees re-stocking shelves.

Their associates dont have any information on the bare shelves all over.

First week picked up my order for Pick up. After did some shopping. All went well.

I used to love this Walmart but I realize since the pandemic it doesnt stay stocked like it used to. I still shop here for my general foods, household goods & supplies and shop online for items I cant find in store.

Good selection of out door supplies and the pices r cheaper than alot of the other companies some things r a little bit high and they have things that others

Love this store! Had to drive a little distance to get there, but so worth it! They have a lot of great Easter stuff, and a good arts & crafts dept. This store is truly one stop shopping!

Went to get 2 qt of 5w 30w. I was unable to locate any regular oil on the shelf. Very little oil at all. What was there was synthetic. This Was also true at two auto zone.

Almost everything! I shop here for different reasons all the time. Clothes, sandals, toys, house hold appliance, pictures, FOOD and more getting everything i need under one roof here at this Walmart. Ive had a few bad experience at this location but im choosing to give 5⭐s because my good days out way the bad.

Use to shop at the Elkton Walmart, years ago. It ha moved to this new spot, it was much larger than the one I use to shop in. Lots of people at 9:30 in the eveningWas a little 0ff put with the womens bathroom up front. All stalls, the toilets were filled and not flushed. There were left behind drink bottles on the floor and needed a general cleaning.

Pretty good on having stuff but only one register open was not good for customer flow.

Not a fan of this place. I went to buy a video game for my son that came out today. The person working there couldnt find it anywhere. It seemed very unorganized. There wasnt even a spot made for it on the shelf. Also when I went to pay for a few items I went to the self check out. I wanted to pay cash but couldnt at the machine I picked. I dont know why I have to wait for certain machines that let you pay cash. Just annoyed, wont be back anytime soon.

Been there before...years ago. Employees are friendly and most make eye contact. BIG store! Didnt have any cases of Aquafina water, this time.

Excellent customer service in self check out yesterday. Needed help with our check out and the gentleman was there in a few seconds to assist which usually doesnt happen at a Walmart.

Huge selection. They do not have their home section entrance open though, which is an annoyance - most Walmarts have both open by now!Cleanliness is a 7 of 10. In stock items, 6 of 10 (but better than some neighbors!).

Dont really like this walmart. Everyone from Delaware comes here because its closer than New Castle and the shelves are always half empty! The meat section was about completely empty last visit. This is all the time...prepandemic and now! Id rather travel 15mins away and go to the NorthEast Walmart.

Too many registers not open to be open so late. This the only walmart for miles too so.Their Easter section was absolutely fantastic though. And as we see here, I love the peach decor.☺☺😋

The shelves are always empty and there are never enough lines open even though there is no shortage of employees on their cell phones doing nothing. They didnt even have bags at the self checkout registers on my most recent visit. The store manager should work a night shift and see what a train wreck this place is after 7 pm.

So walmart has most things but we have given up on shopping for our groceries there. Lines are long usually my family and I started using food lion which is such a relief.

It has stuff and cheap! Pharmacy, household, grocery, bakery, toys, electronics, outdoor, clothes, and more. Sometimes challenging finding stuff (especially when they move things around), not easy to find a floor associate, cashier lines can be long. People are friendly though & returns are easy. Great addition to the community. Clean store, well kept, and stocked.

Ive always had a great time at this Walmart. The store is always clean and well stocked unlike most, theres more than 1 register open which is frequently the case at other places. The bathroom and the outside are routinely cleaned, and the staff actually want to be there and try to make sure you are helped and satisfied.

Even paying tax in Maryland I always enjoy this Walmart

The staff is rude. No ones willing to help you. They treat you like youre an inconvenience to them. And dont even get me started on the lines. Why do they have 25 registers and only ever one open.

I had all four of my tires replaced at the Auto Center, not only were they busy but they were really fast and thorough. They accepted me without a appointment and everything was done in an hour and a half. They had a great sale on Goodyear Tires and their safety add ons are very low. All the techs and appraiser were kind and helpful

Been waiting to get in the auto side and they still haven’t opened the doors and even come to tell us anything going on. Came early for this

By fat has got to be the worst Walmart in the country, employees dont help you ever & theres never cashiers on maybe 2 of ur lucky. Now they waont check u out in electronics ! I drive to north east or new castle before I go to this Walmart

I used the online ordering and curbside pickup again. It was 👍. This service encourages you to check- in when you are on the way so my order was ready when I arrived.

Be very careful of Walmarts fraudulent advertising! They list a low price when searching for items, and changes the price when you check out! Attached photos as proof!

No cashiers, waiting for propane gas for 20 mins after payment was made no one to work. Ask for supervisor was told they ALL on lunch. Beyond ridiculous 🙄

They need more cashiers. If I wanted to check out the stuff, I would stay home and order my stuff from online from other stores.
