I needed a bumper cover repair for my 2018 Passat GT. I found all of their employees that I dealt with to be professional and courteous. Nicholas came out and looked at my car and explained their entire process to me. Im sorry but I dont remember the 2 office associates names but they made an appointment for me to drop my car and had Enterprise pick me up when I dropped my car off. The repair was done in the exact time frame given and it looks great. I was also able to leave my rental with them to get it returned to Enterprise. Highly recommend them.

With my recent experience with Purnell, I would highly recommend their business! I got into a wreck after catching a flat and within 2 weeks, my vehicle is up and running! They were very professional and have great communication with the customer while holding their vehicle . Another thing I like about Purnell Body Shop is that they’re considerate! My vehicle was stolen late January and I never fixed the headlight . They patched up the hole for me till I could get the light fixed so there wouldn’t be any water damage for the time being . I WILL be coming back to this auto body the next time I have a problem with me vehicle. Thank You !

David and his team provided an outstanding Job with my wife Sylvias brand new 2020 Cadillac Escalade. It was hit with a grocery cart and they were able to pull out the dent like it never even happened. They are absolutely wonderful to work with and the price was extremely fair. Very Professional. They took care of communication with the insurance company, also set up the rental car. All I had to do is report my claim to the insurance company. When I dropped my vehicle off at Purnells the rental car was waiting for me. Five Stars!

My car was in a fender bender, very professional went there for the insurance estimate right in right out! Scheduled to have it fixed bing bang boom even with covid regulations in place everything went without a hitch and the end result was absolutely beautiful it looked better than it did coming off the show room floor!! I am More than satisfied with purnells. My truck had over 10,000 dollars in damage all to the front end and when I picked it up it looked and drove like it was brand new. They estimated it would take a month and 4 days but was finished in a month. I highly recommend purnells and will go there every time I need any repairs done.

So it took three times to get the job done and still not 100% confident it is right because I kept catching things that good quality inspection of completed work I think should have caught but glad to have my car back and out of the shop at home. Overall, time for repair was good with the exception of having to drop off car the two additional times for comeback/rework. Staff was overall pleasant just not Best in Elkton which is what I expected. Car cleanliness was okay as it was somewhat cleaned just not overall who vehicle, primarily just the worked areas were cleaned. The best aspect of the experience was communication as I at least knew if delays were impacting delivery and when I could expect to have car done. I was kind of disappointed as this place had good recommendation from the insurance adjuster so still not sure why I had to catch the issues with workmanship forcing me to return the car back until it was done.

I was backed into my drivers rear quarter panel had to be replaced, and much more. Very timely nice people gave me frequent updates. Couldn’t believe what a great job they did. My car hasn’t had the interior that clean since I bought it! It’s a crazy great job. Highly recommend

Professionalism from the beginning to the end and then some. After my accident, my jeep was in bad shape. This team of professionals took care of every single detail of my debacle from beginning to end; picking up my vehicle from where it was towed to, keeping me informed of the damages, cost, and timeframe, dealing directly with my insurance company, letting me know they had a warranty on their work, etc...I will even go so far as to say, they honored their code of work ethic by fixing an issue that went well beyond the typical timeframe of me not noticing something on my vehicle when I picked her up! I would highly recommend based off the top notch experience I had with them. It is great to see a true set of what it means to be a team because everyone was working together for the benefit of the customer. Thank you and thank you some more!

My insurance company referred me to Purnell after a deer decided to end its days in front of my beloved Challenger. I quickly looked at Google reviews which are strong, but I had never been to Purnell nor did I know of anyone who had work done there so I was still a bit leery of how theyd care for my baby. No need - Purnell did great work repairing the damage, communication was easy, complete, and timely, they worked seamlessly with the insurance adjuster, color-matched a difficult color, and they facilitated rental car pick-up and return. Manager Chris even addressed an improvement to my car without issue. Strong recommend.

They did an AMAZING job on my car, $7,000 + worth of damage and I can’t even tell, in fact, it seems better than it was, thanks to some recommendations made by them due to some forced compromises because of insurance coverage. I had to have my hood fixed on a 2016 Chevy Cruze due to a rock hitting it and stratching and denting it. That was 3 years ago and now the clear coat is peeling. This should not be happening to it, not already. Other than them doing the job quick and being nice people to communicate with I am not a happy customer

This week I had body work done to my car. Full disclosure, I walked in concerned and expecting to have a complicated, frustrating experience. I whole heartedly have to admit that I was truly impressed by the kindness & overall experience I had With Purnell Body Shop. From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed! I was greeted with kindness and professionalism! I should point out that with my mom recently getting cancer, kids, a full time job... car trouble was the very last thing I needed. They were incredibly patient and flexible with me, they worked with me every step of the way. The icing on the cake and what truly blew me away was the service i received from my auto body technician Tyler! I was truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Not only was the body work done perfectly & faster than I could have imagined, he truly went way above and beyond. I didnt realize that when I dropped my car off I needed gas (like really needed gas)... Tyler offered to follow me across the street to the gas station or said if I didn’t make it the few blocks to the gas to call and they would come help. I told Purnell when I dropped the car off that I did not have renter’s insurance and needed a time line for when car would be repaired.Was told adjuster was coming Thursday when I dropped car off on Tuesday. The adjuster didn’t come until end of day Friday.I was told my car would be worked on that next week. My car was delayed 3 days because their supplier sent them damaged doors. Then my car was delayed another day due to painting taking longer than expected, so my car was delayed an extra week from the date I was told my car would be ready.I had to rent my car an extra week. When I asked what, if anything, the shop can do, I was told that I should of had renter’s insurance. I need to talk to my insurance company. The extra 4 days delay was due to Purnell not the insurance company.Lastly, my front passenger headlight that was replaced not even 2 months ago is out. I noticed it on the night that I picked up my car. Purnell fixed and replaced the panels and both doors on my entire passenger side.I am sure they are going to say that I am not a customer because I had to create a google E-Mail account to post my review. The E-Mail address that I used was an msn E-Mail.The repairs seem to be ok. Their poor timing and shoddy supplier Cost me an extra week of car rental plus whatever it will cost me to fix my headlight.I will never use Purnell again. It will be at your cost when things are delayed on their end which is not industry standard!

Super quick service. Martin was very informative and helpful. Ive had to take two different cars two different times, and they both came back good as new. The front desk staff leaves much to be desired, though. Not very personable.*Update* Well, I had to go a third time! There were some hiccups and delays along the way, but I am definitely impressed with their customer service. My battery ended up going dead during body repair and they replaced it for me and matched the price of a cheaper battery I found elsewhere. Also, I must have caught the front on a bad day last time. That happens sometimes. They were very friendly this go around.

I had a great experience with Purnells! The passenger side of my mustang was backed into and completely smashed. They repaired it, repainted the car, and cleaned up the entire thing! They also fixed easy body repairs around the area- the air damn under the bumper needed pinned back on while they were at it! On top of that the entire staff was friendly and helpful! The owners race muscle cars and truly understand the value of a car in good condition! I reccomend them to everyone I know!
