I took my son’s car to Cruise Auto Body to have a back bumper repaired after getting estimates from other businesses in the area. Not only was the price better, the work was completed more quickly than initially quoted. Everywhere else told me it was a 3 day job, but Crouse said I could pick it up the next day. I have used Crouse Auto Body in the past and again very recently. Every time I interact with them, they treat me like I am the most important customer they have. They work with my schedule and communicate with me throughout the entire process. During my most recent experience, my family had planned a vacation and my vehicle was damaged and I would not be able to go on vacation. In talking with the team at Crouse, they came up with a plan that could save my family vacation. Although my vehicle wasnt pretty at that point, it was very drivable. Where else can you go that will treat you with that kind of respect? I will continue to send friends and family their way for not only this reason but numerous others. If you are having an issue, stop in and see them. You wont regret it!

The paint job was perfect

Crouse Auto Body did an excellent job repairing our vehicle after someone gong through a stop sign hit the back end. They worked well with our insurance company and also the car rental company who delivered a rental car right to the body shop and picked it back up when our vehicle was repaired. Our car looks like new. They even swept out the inside and gave us a coupon for two free car washes. We are more than satisfied and highly recommend this company.

Sometimes when working with a service company it is not the job that they do initially that matters. It is how they react to something that isn’t correct or right that distinguishes the good from great. And Crouse sets them apart by making sure things are done right...and will redo them when they are not.We recently had light body work done that had gone through insurance. When we arrived we noticed that there was something off about the paint. Without hesitation they kept the truck and redid the paint in the questionable area.Yes it sucked that I had to wait an extra day. But the took care of the truck and it looked good as new.

Crouse underpromised and over delivered. They promised my vehicle would be completed in 4 days. Called me on day three, and said vehicle was ready! Workmanship looks amazing and they even buffed out scratches on a different part of the vehicle for free. I highly recommend Cruise.

Usually one star reviews are written by someone with a crazy complaint. I will fully document. My last review was a five star review for Planet Fitness.Summary: I spent $1,400 to get a four year old low mileage Yukon Denali with two minor blemishes fixed to look like new to sell. I got back a car that had one blemish fixed, one not at all fixed, and a new one.I needed to sell a low mileage 2015 Yukon Denali. It was in perfect condition except it had a small parking lot dent low on the rear door and quarter panel and a stain on the hood.I took it to Crouse and Purnell for an estimate. Simple directive. Make it look new. Dent and spot out, and car completely detailed. Flexible on time, not quality, and price. Examined and took pictures of the whole car.Crouse $1,400, Purnell $1,800 (not cheap) difference Crouse was going to wet sand and buff the stain out Purnell paint it while they were doing the door and quarter.As a body shop I trust you to know what is the best course of action to achieve my goal. I reminded both exactly again what I was doing. This wasnt a we got into it and we never could have known, or strange exotic, or fixing something that was covered up or previously repaired. It was NOT I only want to spend $500. It was how much to fix this to sell it like a new car, give me your best price, do it right with quotes well over $1,000 I figured it should be perfect.Two weeks later I went to get the car back. It took a half an hour to get it ready after I paid when I came out I immediately saw the hood looked terrible just as bad as before AND there was a crease dent in the front quarter panel. Not a car door ding but a deep sharp crease, it looked like a shop cart or sharp piece of metal hit it. They knew I was going to be upset because I didnt even get back inside before Autumn came out and said Ill take it back to have them work on the hood. She said that ding was there, I said look at the pictures. I knew that Purnell had pictures too.They couldnt get the stain out by really hard wet sanding (of course at this point I really doubted the quality). The owner said that is the best we can do. They agreed you couldnt see the crease in pictures but made some excuse about bad lighting. Who is the professional taking pictures here? He said we only said we would try to get the stain out. Now of course that is not what they said. I had my title in hand and was going to sell that car today. Why would I spend that kind of money to get rid of the dent low in the back and possibly leave a huge stain where you can instantly see it as you walk up and a crease right as you get in. This isnt he said she said. When you sell an expensive late model, low mileage the first thing people look over is the exterior.He was upset and said there was nothing he could do. I said Purnell had said paint it, and he said he could, but he had already put in the work and angrily agreed to do it for the difference and fix the dent.My problems:1. You are the body shop. You should know what it needs to be fixed. It wasnt like I said what can you do for $500.2. You knew that it wasnt fixed and hoped I wouldnt notice. How? or I wouldnt care?3. You dinged it and didnt own that.4. You could have called and said look the estimate is wrong (I would have said give it back and taken to Purnell) who also got screwed on this btw.5. After I pointed all of this out you could have been the least bit apologetic, but you acted like you were doing me some huge favor.6. You could have said we have to talk, its not ready. Anybody could point out the glaring problems much less a body shop.The response will probably be we got it right in the end. Which they did over budget, late, and with a big hassle which is not what I pay thousands of dollars to accomplish. I could try and go to somebody as a side job if I wanted that kind of service, not pay premium rates.If this is what happens when there is a simple job of fixing two blemishes what happens with tough problems.

After many recommendations I decided to choose Crouse for my auto body repairs. I was called at 9:30 in the morning to come pick up my car that the work was complete. Before leaving to take my car I of course inspected where the damage had been. When inspecting I noticed that the mirror which was the major part of the damage had not even been touched. So not only was I called to be told that my car was ready but also to find out that the work was not even done but also that it was not even completed. I went back inside and let Mandy know. The gentlemen in the office took my car back to the shop. 10 minutes later he returned with my car and I of course inspected where the damage was again. When inspecting I could tell that they trylied to buff out where the scratches were but did a very poor job. The guy came up to me and asked me what was wrong. I explained that the work that was done was unacceptable and poorly completed. Again my car was taken back into the shop. I left back in the rental again. This experience was not only unprofessional, unacceptable, but also very frustrating and upsetting. I believe after the 2nd time that I should have been approached by a manager and not by the lady at the front desk and a guy from the shop. Job poorly done!

I found Crouse a bit by accident back in 2010. They were the closest Hertz rental car pickup location and I needed to rent an SUV, form Hertz who was by far the cheapest at the time.When I went I saw a brand new AMG Mercedes that looked just destroyed. Someone had run a stop sign and smashed the front end of that car if I remember correctly. Almost 2 weeks later when I dropped off the SUV I was amazed that not only had insurance fixed the car (it was weeks/months old at the time) but it looked new.A few months later I got into a minorish accident in my Audi S4. Bel Air Autobody was the Allstate recommended body shop and I was still new to the area so I went there. They did horrible and kept trying to make A4 parts work on my S4 and couldn’t figure out what was going wrong. The paint had runs, it was horrible. All Allstate could say after I complained was that I was right and the job was bad. I had it taken to Crouse. They fixed all of the damage and mistakes from the other shop and all of the wreck damage beautifully on a hard to work on car.A few years later I wanted to fix some minor scratches on my 2002 Camaro and have the antenna mount hole on the fender filled in. I made the long drive back up to Crouse from Joppa MD. Its worth the drive. You could never tell that fender had a quarter sized hole in it and the scratch/small dent on the door sill and fender were never there either.Most recently I was hit by a drunk who stopped in the middle of the road and backed into me. As soon as I called both insurance companies I got the line about going to their preferred shop and I told them it wasn’t even up for debate, I was going to Crouse.Crouse was able to order my aftermarket brush guard that the drunk warped and they did a beautiful job on the fender, bumper and fender flare on my 75th Anniversary, Jeep Grand Cherokee, in the special edition green. If it wasn’t for Carfax, you’d never know my Jeep had any damage.I’ll always go back to Crouse and I always recommend them.

Took a 6 in a half hour trip from West Virginia to retrieve a impounded car after a horrible weekend and they cant stay over a hour. I also offered to match his hourly wage. Plus, over priced towing bill!! Not a home of good people!!
