Amazing very helpful staff! They always have what I need at any time! I really appreciate that the pharmacist took their time to answer all my questions about the medication.They are doing a really great job!

Young staff that doesnt seem to really want to work at times. This location looks organized and clean most of the times. Just made a quick stop here to pick up a few items needed. Parking lot is pretty large, thats always a plus. They have a movie rental box at the side by the entrance and its useful for those who use them. Walgreens are pretty good to pick up most of your needs.

Not too many people who work there that assist you if you have any questions. I was at the photo department and no one looked at me.

I was in need to use the bathroom and one of the workers asked the manager if I could use the bathroom. He said yes but not theirs. When I entered the bathroom it was extremely dirty. I asked three times Please can I use the other bathroom. The manager said no. Sarcatly he said enjoy the bathroom. It was was very rude of him he than said what do you need a paper to clean it?

Today I went to pick up my photo and I was explaining the person at the photo center that I had a problem with the coupon and it happened to be that the day before it was the same issued. Associate name Carlos told me not to Scream at him when I wasn’t and it kind it bother me his comment because I work with the public my self and I would never mistreat a client. I think because I was wearing my mask I have to speak a little loud because I honestly feel like Carlos needs to be retrained when it comes to dealing with the public.I was choose a different Walgreens for my shopping in the future. It always an issue at the Newark Ave location.M Guzman

The vaccine operation is run horribly. 4 people in the dispensary are mixing vaccination with regular pick-up, acting like its their first time. Cant imagine how theyd deal with real demand.

I just left walgreens on newark ave in elizabeth Nj it’s 5:28 am I’m going on vacation and went there to buy acid reducer Pepcid And deodorant .I got one and started looking for the deodorant but couldn’t find it. I went to checkout and payed for and I was leaving the store and the security asked me if I had something to declare in my purse I couldn’t t believe was a shame that s is something not right about the guy . I told him to pay attention to the cameras and make sure to who he approaches in that way. Never go back there anymore .

Great pharmacy need a better ATM and need to clean up the beggars asking for change outside.. That Hispanic Indian looking pharmacy tech with the long black hair is really hot I deal with her a lot checking out my meds😘

GREAT customer service from the manager Ms Deidra , there was an issue with a debit card purchase and she took care of the problem with NO hassles and with a smile .... Shes definitely a keeper !!!

I try to avoid this Walgreens as much as possible. The parking lot is always packed and has someone at the door begging for money. The lines are absurdly long inside, and it takes an excessive amount of time just to cash out.I always seem to leave a little more frustrated than when I arrived.They do, however, have the best photo printer of the one-hour print spots in the area. Granted, its still store employees making the prints, but the machine is better than the other stores in the area.

So I gave a one star review just because the staff is decent, Other than that worse experience at the pharmacy I have ever had. On one occasion they didn’t have my meds on stock last week. Instead of offering me a different location to pick them up. They just didn’t say anything at all. Ended up in the hospital 3 days due to them not having my meds. The week after I had my doctor send in a prescription for something else. I called this time prior to going to make sure that they did have what I need. I was told they did have it in stock. Great! I was told it would be ready by 3pm that day. I show up around 330-345. Only to find out that the order wasn’t ready. I was told to wait. I waited another 10-15 minutes. To then be told once again we don’t have what you need in stock! Thanks Walgreens! Great service! Never again using Walgreens again for pharmacy services...

I was going to BarCode with my friends and they didn’t let me in because I was wearing sandals. So I went to Walgreens to find shoes but unfortunately they only carried flip flops. The sweet and generous store manager Lattoria was kind enough to offer me a pair of heels after her shift!!! She walked us to her house and gave me the shoes so I can get in. I will never forget this act of kindness! Thank you Lattoria ! ❤️

This Walgreens is always very busy the pharmacy is also always busy but they do a great job

That evening the Manager was having a bad evening or their is a dress code in her eyes. I was wearing my suit last week when this same manager was all smiles. This time it was a little late around 10 PM and I had jeans-hodie-hat on with hoodie off and hat in my hand not feeling well went to purchase cold medication also grabbed an item with name n description. Priced 1 dollar per. We got to the cashier the register did not ring up the correct price so the cashier who was very nice went to see for herself n confirmed what we were right so she did the next proper customer service by calling the Manager who rudely changed the price n did not honor the sell. I ask her for her name and she ignore me n walked away I then said with a firm tone not to walk away from me. And give me your name. She turn for a second said her name fast turn and walked away again didnt understand her. Decided she or that store was not worth it. I should have taken the ride to a 24 hour CVS. Serves me right. CVS doesnt have a dress code, they treat everyone the same. With respect at all times through out the day or evening. You win ms manager we will never go to your store again.

On 2-22-19 (Friday) at 11 PM I went into Walgreens on Newark Ave in Elizabeth to get milk for my son. As I approached the register, I see the young cashier taking care of the customer in front of me. This cashier is all attitude, very disrespectful. I say to her, it is not that serious. As she starts ringing me up, shes also very rude with me. I told her it was going to be ok, I pay for my items and she literally threw the receipt at me. As soon as I left the store, I immediately contacted the manager, Steffon and described my encounter with his cashier. I told him that I didnt expect him to deal with the situation, but that I would be calling corporate to share my negative experience. He thanked me for informing him and assured me he would handle it.

Pros:Love walgreens, this one is clean well organized. You can find everything you need fast. it is 24 hrs, and there is security guard during nights, i think only on weekends.Cons: this one is a little bit of a nightmare sometimes, because it is way too busy, and most of the time understaff. It is not the best idea to go during hollidays, because some of the staff get overwhelmed and can be in bad mood.The busiest hours can be before 9am and even busier after 2pm.

I dont understand what is going on here, whether it is a lack of hiring or training. My first incident was with a pharmacist that had the worst attitude problem and I said to them, you know what, Ill go elsewhere. So I never went back to this Walgreens, until recently my doctor sent my prescription to this Walgreens again... UGH! But I said maybe it won’t be as bad, so I went this past Sunday and everything went well until I caught up with my friend who was at the front register paying for her stuff. She was being rung up and some elder man was asking about his purchase so there was two things happening at the same time with this one cashier. My friend just sat back and watched, she mentioned the cashier that she did have her card, all of a sudden he started going off saying that, Thats what I asked you before and you said no! which wasnt true. He asked her while also trying to speak with the elder man and getting no response with my friend. So after about a minute of the cashiers ranting, I stepped in and said to him, Relax! It’s not that serious, just ring her up so we can go. So of course I was mad and noticed this other lady ringing up behind us and she was giving the eye. I said, I DONT GET WHY CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS STORE IS NON-EXISTENT!!! If you cant problem solve or know how to handle situations like this one then ask for help... Where was the manager? If I am right the guy was watching on the sidelines seeing all of this go down and said nothing.

Always long lines, animals have better common sense than the people working here...i had to teach a cashier how to scan a walgreens coupon...is like they just pick anybody off the street and dont give them training of how to use the cash register....

The ONLY reason I give this 5 stars is becuase the Sr. Certified Pharmacy Technician is an absolute complete sweetheart. I forgot his name, but he is a doll and makes my entire trip worthwhile. Customer Service at its best. I got my prescription Tylenol w/Codine and he helped me such much with understanding what the doctor prescribed, the cost...., he rung up my other items....he was just weirdly nice!! its hard to find that. He makes up for the store being a mess, long lines, and a horrible parking lot. He makes it all worthwhile.

The cashier is still standing while I was putting items on the desk. And these people are totally senseless, have no manners or understanding about half of the things and prohibites a customer from their rights with purchases. They even do not agress with the manufacturers policies. The staff keep talking in their own language which is totally mannerless in public place.

One of the worst Walgreens Ive visited. It seemed understaffed and worse many staff didnt look like they wanted to be there.

Everytime (unless its 3am) you come here the lines are unbearable. Always a problem with prescriptions, insurance, etc. Hard to believe that a place so busy is SO understaffed. If CVS would grow a brain and open a 24hr store here theyd kill this place. Parking is also an unmitigated DISASTER here. Smh....

Not a good place. There is a technician name Michel, she is so rude and abnoxious.And the pharmacist doesn’t care about patients at all.

I was in Walgreens to buy something that would help me with a problem in my right eye, I asked and they told me to go to the pharmacy. This Walgreens is not a big place so I went up and an employee did me the favor of calling the pharmacist who delayed and when he arrived almost 20 minutes later he just told me that the problem would go away and I did not need the drops on which I asked, he seemed worried about going back to his den. The potential of this Walgreens is immense but I think it suffers from customer service, like most businesses in Elizabeth, NJ, with great exceptions.
