Called first to ask...and brought childs item in for a fix. I was absolutely delighted to have a loved item (four grand children) fixed with a simple welding process. They also had a bit of spray paint and sealed the weld with paint...I am over the moon with the finished FIXED item....Just want to share that my experience revealed the staff were professional, engaged and on task......Yes I will go back for any future car repairs requiring their skills.

He wanted $400 to cut off and weld in two cats. I called every muffler shop in the metro to get quotes, they all ranged from $200-250. Sooner Muffler on 10th ended up doing the job for $200. Make sure to call around first, it saved me $200.

Absolute worst customer service. Walked in and the employee/owner was eating lunch and you could tell he was completely put out that I disturbed him. Whatever you do if you think about looking into this place, DONT. Stay away and go to a professional place where they care about their customers. This guy could care less and made absolutely zero effort and showed no interest in doing anything except to sit there and eat his lunch in the nasty building. STAY AWAY!

I pulled in with my rattletrap jeep, put it on the lift, and they tightened up my header then threw a new muffler on in about 15 minutes tops. Good prices and great service. I highly recommend Sooner Mufflers. I dont think youll beat them.

Had a bent/crushed muffler pipe, they cut out the bent pipe and welded in a new one. The whole process took less than 30 minutes, and at a fair price. It is nice to get good service and a fair price these days. I WILL go back when/if I need muffler work again.

The owner and his guys did a great job and provided great service for a very fair price. The custom exhaust on our 2012 Raptor (installed by a prior owner) rusted out and needed repair. I also had a bought a full size spare tire that had never been mounted under the bed. We came up with a plan to cut away old brackets so I could mount the spare and then the new dual pipes could be installed around it. We tried to reuse the old tips but rust had taken its toll. Bottom line, every recommendation was spot on and the job was done in an ultra professional manner. It looks and sounds great!

Was recommended to Sooner Muffler by a mechanic at Firestone. I called these fellas Monday morning, he said come on in. Checked in and within 5 minutes my work Trk was on the rack and under an hour I was pulling out. No complaints here, great guys, no BS. I will return and recommend to others. Keep up the great work.

Great experience here. Just had to have a couple exhaust brackets rewelded, but the quality was great. Got there first thing when they opened and was in and out in less than an hour with no appointment. The pricing was more than fair. The people working there were all really nice and helpful. I will definitely be back for any future work I need!

Outstanding service. Dont let the not so shiny waiting area and plain spoken folks give you caution. My BMW mechanic recommended them, they do excellent work, quickly. When I was there. I saw any number of simple repairs and some higher end vehicles as well. The lack of shine also leads to lower price points too.

These guys are the best around. After going to some other shops to get the muffler fixed on my RV generator and being told it would cost way too much and take a few weeks. These guys busted it out nicely for a cheaper price than I expected. Don is the man.

What a nice guy. This man was buried with 7 or 8 cars on a Friday. I took my Jeep to a Mechanic Shop in Edmond who after 3 hours could not figure out my problem.Thinking my Catalytic converter might be plugged, I went to Sooner Muffler. Within 10 minutes he scanned my vehicles error codes and determined my Camshaft Position Sensor was bad. His charge for diagnosis was -0-.I strongly recommend this business. 5 stars !!!

I needed a muffler replaced on my 2004 F150 which I recently bought. It was badly rusted and one of the dual exhausts was actually broken off. Only the hangers held the pieces in place.Don and crew replaced it with a stock muffler that was MUCH quieter in about 40 minutes.I was actually charged less for the job than I was quoted over the phone.Ive only been there once but will return for future work. It seems like a no frills (or tricks) kinda place. I dont think you need to worry about getting cheated or over charged. In fact I got a free jar of honey. Imagine taking your car to a muffler shop in Mayberry and youll get the picture.

We were at Big Lots on 63rd and May yesterday, and someone tried to cut off my Fiances catalytic convert, but had been interupted. We started driving the truck today and it fell off. We called and spoke with Don, he quoted us a price and said he could get us in after he finished a job, to weld it back together. we arrived, and within 20-30 minutes he fixed our issue. Which was less time than he originally told us. Wonderful, fast, accurate, and complete job weld done!

Was told to show up at 9 AM which I did, and no one ever showed up to open the shop. Myself and other customers were there waiting, and I gave them till 9:40 until I left for Discount Muffler.

Was disappointed to hear they dont accept appointments. Thats too bad because they appear to have good reviews otherwise. Many people are on tight schedules and need appointments. If someone calls for one you should be able to make one and not have to wait hours to be seen.

Had a terrible attitude until I pulled cash out of my wallet. The welding he did for me on my exhaust pipes was lumpy and had air pockets. I could weld better and Im not even a welder. Wont be going back there.

Unbelievable customer service!The guy working didn’t care to even ask how a wanted my duel exhaust straight pipes ran.I don’t think the guy wanted to be at work like a mad teenager at McDonald’s! Plus he was about $75 dollars higher than a professional muffler shop!! I will never go back and this is my 4th vehicle to have work done too!I was very disappointed and I’m still in shockPlus it was cheaper to pay cash vs debit!Very unprofessional

After someone attempted to cut off our catalytic converter in the Aldi parking lot across from Wal-Mart at Penn and Memorial, Don agreed to weld it all back together, sticking to his agreed upon estimate. Further, when asked if his labor might exceed what he expected, he promised to hold true to his price. He did, and we were very grateful. Finding a trustworthy shop in reference to the odd and strange happenings of automobiles is often an intimidating, slimy affair, but I would gladly return to Sooner Muffler. Thank you, Don.

Be aware rip off alert!!!!!!!!!!! I dont recommend sooner muffler to no individuals. They are crooks from owner to the help. They was suppose to put a new catalytic converters on my 2002 dodge ram 1500 with California emissions but they put aftermarket converter or put old ones back on. I paid them $400 dollars for them to order the part. And after keeping my truck for a week I get it back in worse shape then it was before. Now they avoiding me and give me the run around about my money back or fixing problem at hand. Paid $820 for the job and they are a ripppppppppppp offffffffffff! Beware rip off alert.

I brought my Chevy Prism 2000/1999 and had the Exhaust system looked atwhich I was getting a P420 error (the cat converter went bad after 14 years of driving!).The prices were good and changed out easily (Id recommend shooting for a tuesday through thursday to go in, since fridays and mondays seem more packed with cars).What also impresses me is that I had to bring the system in again after the Cat was getting to rich mixture after 8 months (less than a year). They changed it out and now it drives great. Don and Bud are good people to work with... This is another great thing to say about Oklahoma Businesses here in Edmond.
