I found this company on Instagram. The pitch was pretty simple and so I called them about doing hail repair on my 2018 Tahoe. We had never been through the process and didn’t know what to expect. Our insurance claim adjuster felt that we had close to $3k in damages, which seemed reasonable.I dropped off my Tahoe, being told it would only be a matter of days. Instead, three weeks later I’m told that they broke a part while trying to remove part of the back of Tahoe and can’t seem to locate the part anywhere. I had texted several time over the three weeks without any results as to why my vehicle was still there and received zero answers. I finally spoke with the owner and was appalled at how he felt “So bad that my Tahoe was still there” after his in-depth bragging of his 30th birthday vacation to San Diego. I don’t know him, nor do I care about his holiday. I want my truck back.He claims to have driven the truck over to the dealer twice to locate this missing part. There is no way this guy did any of that, because I show no driving history on MyChevy App, and also because I sent my husband to the dealership and he managed to find the part in minutes.Did I mention that they tacked on another $5k? That’s right folks, apparently this is how they take insurance to the cleaners.Our best suggestion is to just take your vehicle to the dealer when it comes to repairs.
