I arrived at this storage facility after dark, site unseen, and tired after moving across state all day. Christy took care of me and made sure we got in safely. She was kind and went out of her way to make sure we were fully accommodated. The next morning Dan called me when he saw I’d overlooked locking the door properly, told me what he could do about it and took care of the problem immediately. This place is clean and carefully monitored. I’m very glad I chose this storage facility.

I rented a storage unit here from 4/2019 (when it was still a Cubesmart) until 10/2021. My initial experience was excellent, especially with the employee who helped me during move in. The storage unit was fine, it did have a few bugs but I think that is what you would expect for a non-climate controlled unit with a garage door type entry. I never had any issue with rodents.That being said, the experience I had was not so good once it switched to being managed by Storage Rentals of America. There was limited communication about the switch, so it looked like a scam when I received an email asking for payment from SROA. More importantly, the price for the storage unit has gone up seemingly every fews months without notice. When SROA took over in 10/2019, the monthly rent I paid was $90 + insurance, but in 2020 the rent went up by $10 or so every couple of months, always with no notice, until I was paying $140 + insurance.

Prices go up about every 6 months and all my things were infested with stink bugs. When I asks what will you do about the infestation they found not do anything. I also had a mice in my unit. I would not recommend them. Very greedy you can’t even use their dumpster without being charged. Not a caring business like when it was cube smart.

Haslett location is under a newer and much larger mgt than when I utilized it before under Uncle Bobs. My recent experience with a temperature controlled more expensive unit served my purpose but I found that with growth alot of times as now the attention to customer service gets lost in that shuffle. I tried for three months to get a light bulb in the socket about 10 feet up replaced. I got mixed messages among which was they forgot last month and then again and then its not in your contract. I am sure the current management company would not expect me to climb a 10 foot ladder to change a light bulb and risk injury. I removed all my stuff by February 28 per our conversation at being informed that rent was substantially increased. I would gladly utilize this convenient location again in future when better maintained and customer service oriented. Thank you.

We chose SROA over everyone else because of the managers and their attention to details with the maintenance of the complex along with their incredible customer service. Huge price increase... Becoming too expensive

We rented a climate-controlled storage unit here from October, 2016 through February, 2017. Everything went smoothly. The unit was clean and in great condition - no leaks, no issues. The facility prides itself on having no rodent problems, which was great. The staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful. Arranging the unit was simple online, and everything was ready for us as expected when we got there. I paid by automatic debit each month, which was convenient. I have heard such horror stories about self-storage places, but this place was awesome. I highly recommend this facility and would gladly go back should I need storage again.

Christy and Dan are very professional, friendly and relatable. We had a pleasant conversation as Christy processed everything. It’s nice dealing with nice folks who obviously know what they’re doing and are good at it.

Minutes after reserving my 2 storage units I received a phone call from Ken the General Manager at Cube Smart confirming my reservations. He was very helpful answering my questions. The day I went into Cube Smart to sign and pay he was again, kind and helpful. He personally drove me to my 2 units and gave me instructions. The facility is clean and secure. I would highly recommend Cube Smart to anyone.

Jill was awesome. We are first time storage renters and she walked us through the whole process and thoroughly explained everything. We had used the call center to reserve the unit only 15 minutes before we arrived. Jill made the transition from their order into her available space seamless. The unit was clean and we were moved in later that evening. The call center representative was also helpful and courteous. Great overall experience!

I was looking for an affordable way to store my things while I am away, and I found this CubeSmart location through Google. The manager was very friendly, informative, and helpful, and the unit I rented was the perfect fit for my belongings. Setting up the reservation online was easy, and I was contacted very quickly by phone to confirm some details. When I arrived to load my things, the manager, Jill, was there and was very helpful with explaining everything I needed to know.

Actually rented a large climate control unit for a month while we were moving. Plenty of options in sizes and it may have been a special they were running but we had a very large unit that cost us less than $50 the first month with no obligation for the following month. Was an easy choice when looking for just a few weeks of storage. Cheap and clean!

I am a double dipper - a cube and a seasonal parking spot for my boat. I have used this location for four or five years and have never found them to be anything but friendly and helpful. I also like the fact that the site is well maintained, both mechanically and in terms of the drive and grounds. All first rate.

This is not my first time using the storage companies, and from now on Im going to stick to this one! Both Ken and Tabatha were super kind and helpful, and they seemed to have a real secure place. They swept the storage floor for me, but even before, it was pretty neat and clean.

I found Storage Pros on Google. I called a couple of facilities in East Lansing and the people were extremely rude. I was very pleasantly surprised when I found Storage Pros. They were able to accommodate my needs and the process was flawless. Jen is extremely helpful and kind and I am very happy to store my items there. They provide insurance, online payments and you can reserve a unit online.I would recommend this facility without a doubt.

When I called, the lady on the pone was a bit rude, but when I went into the office the man was very helpful and polite.

I have stored my items at this location for 6 mo now,,it is in great location well maintained and looked after and the manager Ken couldnt be more professional and personable. And the rates are very competitive and reasonable. Ide recommend this storage facility to anyone in need.

I am a college student at Michigan State, the first year I rented from them I had no problems, it was not overly expensive and I could use my parents homeowners insurance. The second year the price went up by $30 (for the same unit) and they make you buy their insurance now which of course was additional. My furniture was only in the unit for 3 months. When I was ready to move back to school I found my mattress and other boxes infested with bugs. The insurance that THEY make you buy sure enough does not cover bug damage and I was offered no compensation for my loss from the owners. I will never leave my things there again.

The location is good for residents in West Lansing and South Lansing. Once they converted from Westland Storage to Storage Pros, the customer service went down a notch, in my opinion. It became very hard to talk to a real person when calling. They added a feature to pay online which is nice, however, the website is very tricky to navigate through in order to get to that point. As for the storage units, they are well taken care of and the facilities always seem to be clean.

CubeSmart Self Storage in East Lansing is wonderful! I stopped there to rent a storage unit for my daughter and her roommates at MSU. The staff was extremely helpful and guided me through the process (first time renting a storage unit). We live out of state and the price to store the items was well worth it!! The move in process was very easy. Dan and Christy in the office are very nice. My unit was clean and so was the property. One of the managers lives on site and that’s one of the reasons I picked this location. The prices were the best around too.

The customer service at the East Lansing location in Coleman is truly exceptional. The team in the office, Dan and Christy, were fantastic answering my many questions calls and questions to be sure I understand everything. Additionally, the location is probably the cleanest of any I have ever used or visited!!

This was my first time ever needing to use storage and Christy and Dan made the process smooth and so easy. The property was clean and so was my storage unit. I love the fact that the manager lives on property! Makes me feel even safer storing here. I would most definitely recommend this place, best price around!
