Out of stock of many of the staple items whole foods carries. Staff are just ok. No where near as friendly as the whole foods in other towns/cities. Could definitely do better on training staff.

Horrible experience at checkout.I went to this Whole foods this morning to pick up a birthday cake and a few groceries. Everything went smoothly everyone was pleasant until the checkout line. The cashier who processed my groceries puts the birthday cake in a brown bag (an action I did not request) and in doing so, he mentioned he had pressed down on the cake. I asked if I could see the damage. He tried to hurriedly take the cake out of the bag (no one was behind me at the time) and lost his grip. The cake had slipped and got damaged. Not apologetic, he said that I could pay for groceries first and request a replacement myself with the bakery dept. I asked if he could call the bakery dept. He wouldnt and stated again that I should bring the cake myself to bakery and request for a replacement. I went to the bakery, explained the situation, waited for 40 min for a replacement and paid full price.I understand accidents happen... But not taking responsibility and even asked the customer to resolve an issue a store employee caused is customer service failure.

Whole Foods on Grand River in East Lansing is a well stocked outlet with the usual offering one comes to expect from this brand. The store features a sandwich bar/deli in addition to the usual buffet style DIY prepared food stands. I have not seen a sandwich bar like this at other outlets. As usual, parking and accessibility is week catered for, staff are knowledgeable, and shoppers can enjoy samples/tasters which always appeals to me.

My first time at your store. Your floor staff was so helpful trying to help me find what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

They have everything other local stores dont have. Best artisan cheese selection in town. I am really liking their lentil salad and taboule. Their grape leaves are a little slimy but not expensive. Since selection of kimchi. Friendly staff!

Good store. Bathroom/store were clean and the workers were pretty nice. It is a bit pricy, but at Whole Foods, that’s expected.

Drove 70+ miles to come there because we dont have one closer to me. Really enjoyed my experience there. It was a first time for me. I could have spent the whole day there, but couldnt, had to drive back home. Was a nice day to come.

This review is more of the bar area than the store as a whole. Its a nice place with good prices for a beer or wine (significantly cheaper than a regular bar). You can get a good craft beer for $4. The food is good too. I had the Up In Smoke Burger and fries, the Brussels Sprouts, and broccoli tots, all of which were great. The bacon on the burger was perfect! They also had Pilsner Urquell, which was a nice flashback to my trip to Prague last summer.

Nice selection. Friendly staff. Plus cashier..mariah..went above and beyond when i couldnt access my gift card. They are not as pricey as you might think either..as you can get smaller portions and exactly what you need.

You get an extra discount if you are a prime member on some items. Excited to be able to take my Amazon returns here, the UPS store is difficult to deal with and charges $3 to print a shipping label.

Whole Foods Market is definitely worth a visit. They have many hard to find healthy foods.

We usually purchase our New York strip steaks at WF because of the quality but the last one we purchased to the tune of almost $15 makes me very hesitant to buy another! The quality was substandard for Whole Foods! I can take a ride to Ann Arbor before I purchase another one! We don’t mind paying for quality but in my opinion, there was nothing quality about that one to the tune of $15! We could have purchased one ANYWHERE and marinaded it! Way too much gristle!

The fruit, chicken salad, and fresh baguette were amazingly delicious and worth every cent.

Although they are a bit pricey, they have good weekly deals. The quality of food makes you feel better inside. I love the chicken selection along with the fresh seafood. The only thing I would recommend is that they hire someone that can actually clean fish besides only descaling. I recommend that go and look around and buy at least one thing to experience the high quality.

Although they are a little pricey, the food is excellent. I love the salad bar and hot food bar. Its nice to shop and have a pint too. Excellent beer choices.Oh yea, breakfast pizza. Boom!

This place is way better than most stores all organic foods. Keto, Paleo products also. They have a olive bar and meat counter with amazing cuts. They have organic shampoo and make-up. Wines and beers, even organic baby food. The staff were friendly and very professional. I am not a big fan of East Lansing but well worth the trip for this store. Very excited to return the prices are a little higher but in my opinion worth the money for the products they have very wholesome food.

The best thing is that they sell the doe for there pizza

I lived in Tampa and rarely shopped at Whole Foods because I thought they were pretty pricey. But I decided to give Lansing a try because I needed a Manuka Honey. To my surprise I saw that their prices are no where near Tampas prices. Not only are they reasonable but the staff are friendly and helpful. Everything looks fresh. Loved it. Glad I gave it a shot

Not great since Amazon took over. Cant get anything decent as far as to go food. Wanted to get something organic for a road trip meal, didnt have anything. Their basic tuna salad was $12 for a container. I think everyone knows how much a can of tuna, celery and a bit of mayo add up to. Ridiculous. Ended up going to Panera Bread instead.

I was very impressed with the size of the store, variety of products and customer service. The coffee was just ok but hey, this isnt a coffee shop.

Whole Foods is our FAVORITE store. We are from a state that has them locally and were SO excited to find one in East Lansing. All of your healthy/organic shopping can be done here. From the amazing bakery, to fresh produce...the store has it all! They also utilize the amazon shopping/checkout options (haven’t tried it out yet!) Highly recommend!

Love this place. Its a bit pricey but great for an occasional stop or for getting a few unique items. They offer awesome prepared food, a nice little bar, great wine and cheese selection, and often have samples.

Fruits are a poor selection here. I bought $12 worth of strawberries - 3 packs of 1lb. Mold in all of them and didnt realize until I bought it home

Very crabby service at the deli counter. Avoid buying food From the deli counter, unless you enjoy being yelled at. Snowflakes work in that department. Instead, pay the $12.00 for a vine ripened tomato in the produce section. There, you won’t need to endure a lecture from the vegetables before you get your food. With all the local food sources nearby, Whole Foods will be my last choice in shopping.I’m guessing that with the pandemic, sales at Whole Foods are going through the roof. So much so that employees are actively discouraging people from shopping there. I will shop at Foods for Living, Aldi, and Horrocks before I return to WF. I guess I won’t be buying that $12.00 tomato after all. Maybe the mouse featured online gnawing in a WF meat cooler will get better treatment.It’s worth the drive to shop at Horrocks Farm Market 7420 W Saginaw. They have acres of vegetables, a hot food bar, and incredibly friendly employees.
