I traveled from Grand Rapids to meet my family half way for wedding dress appointments. We went to multiple different places and ended at Cocos. EVERY. SINGLE. DRESS. I tried on far surpassed the other places I went and I loved each one. I ended up choosing the perfect one and Coco herself was able to do alterations in 4 days for me! I bought my dress from an outlet store and it was at least 2 sizes to big with an all lace back, I was so worried when I brought it in to be fitted that I would be told that it would work. Ms. Coco did not hesitate and did a stunning job in just 3 fittings. Great attention to detail, great customer service, reasonable pricing. My dress was steamed and ready to go! They (Ms. Coco and Casey) were always so sweet and gave me such genuine complements when I went in for my fittings, they made me feel beautiful!

I just picked up my wedding dress from my final fitting, and my mom picked up her mother of the bride dress. We could not be more pleased with the work!! They knew exactly what to do to make the fit of our dresses absolutely stunning on us. The best part was the incredibly friendly staff. We both had a wonderful and fun experience here. I needed last minute alterations on my wedding dress and not only did she fit me in, but she did a phenomenal job with alterations that the other seamstress I took my dress to said she couldnt do. I could not recommend Coco more and which I had known of her from the offset!

I felt so lucky to find a shop like Cocos for my wedding dress alteration! Theres nothing scary for a bride than imagining the tailor ruining your gown. Not only did Ms. Coco and Casey do an incredible job with my dress, but they also constantly made me feel beautiful and confident. I came in for multiple fittings (due to the fact that I lost so much weight!), and I had an amazing visit each time. I had Ms. Coco add a modesty panel to my dress, shorten the straps, take in the sides, hem the bottom, and add a bustle. I was so relieved at the price. For all that work, I thought it would cost a lot more than it did. Plus, my dress was all lace, so I know she had more intricate work to do. She pulled it off amazingly. I thought the bustle was the most beautiful addition. I really cannot thank Casey and Ms. Coco enough for being so accommodating and for making me both calm and beautiful for the big day! xoxo

Poor customer service. Didn’t say appointment required anywhere on the website or at the door. wasted my time and my daughters. nobody else was even in the store. huge disappointment. would not recommend. there’s much better places don’t spend ur money at this trash place. no appointment was even offered to make. we were just expected to leave. not good. not great. not anything. such a waste of time. 10/10 do not recommend. ew

Had the most amazing experience! We were looking for a “mother of the bride” dress and the dresses at Coco’s were so elegant and beautiful! Not once did I feel like “grandma of the bride” and her prices are amazing! Almost half the price of all the other dress stores we entered. I totally recommend this shop for your coming fancy event or school dance.

Well I guess it was a good thing that the wedding was postponed because there is now a year to get this dress FIXED. Cocos completely ignored what was asked for and ruined to focal point of the dress and then refused to ask for it. Even if it was requested that you line the whole lace back, they did a terrible job at it. The seam was all wrong, chunky and plain sloppy. Also, who puts a three foot train on a one point bustle that high up on the dress? The line of the dress is now completely wrecked. They wouldnt acknowledge that they made a mistake, and refused to fix it. Go to someone who actually works with wedding dresses. Dont let their niceties fool you!

Had the best time here x2! Bought 2 different dresses and both were just absolutely beautiful. All alterations done on site and my daughter was treated like a princess. She had never felt so beautiful as she did going to both Proms! This in its self is priceless. Thank you so much. Will definitely be coming back for years to come as my next 4 go into high school. And if we ever need a wedding dress.

She was extremely detailed, fantastic service, and quality work.I had gone to another seamstress that was going to change the look of my dress because she didn’t know how to remove the lace at the bottom of the dress to shorten it. So thankful that I left that seamstress and came to Coco’s. My dress looked beautiful and was impeccably tailored to me.Highly recommend!

Coco and Casey were amazing to work with. They listened to what I was looking for and my price range so they could make great suggestions and I found exactly what I was looking for. When I first bought my wedding dress the only thing I loved about it was the silhouette. I searched and searched for the perfect seamstress to cut it up and turn my ok gown in to my dream gown. And I found her! Ms. Coco is the best, her work is impeccable! She made my dress everything I wanted it to be and more. She moved the boning to expose the back more, and added the shimmery sleeves I purchased to turn into a keyhole back. I received compliments all night! I took my wedding dress to Coco’s Off the Rack to have it altered and they did a phenomenal job. These ladies truly know their business: the gown had lace, sequins and beadwork and a lace train and had to be hemmed - it looks absolutely beautiful. I had to have it taken in at the waist and cups sewn in - it looks better than when I purchased it by a long shot! Plus, they put in a bustle (beautifully done) and steamed my veil. I love how calm and relaxed they are: it soothes a stressed out bride’s little soul, and the dog that toodles around the place is charming - the most mellow little creature! ❤️💍🍾🎶💐

I brought my bridesmaid dress to Cocos less than 48 hours before the wedding I was in. I had it altered twice previously and my dress was botched. I was so nervous to get it done for a third time with the time crunch but Cocos exceeded all expectations and was able to fit, alter and deliver the dress by the morning of the wedding. They worked quickly and were very kind! I highly recommend Cocos and will be going back in the future!

If I could leave negative stars, I would. I had a bustle put on my wedding dress here and it looked like a toddler did it. It literally was a button sewn onto one side of the dress with a piece of yarn about an inch long sewn onto the other side. It did not last more than 30 minutes before completely falling apart. I was also charged for having a corset back put in which she didnt do, and I was not refunded! Completely scammed! Do not go here!

Its impossible to rave about this establishment and its employees and practices enough!I had been taking my wedding dress to another local tailor for 6+ months and we were having trouble communicating. My wedding dress was a few sizes to big for me, so it needed to be altered to my size. The tailor that I had been seeing prior to finding Coco had assured me for months that it would be easy for her to make my dress fit perfect. Then less than a month before my wedding, in what was supposed to be my final fitting where...well, it would fit, it still didnt. She assured me then that it looked great and when I explained that I would like her to fix it and make it actually fit me correctly, she said it would be very expensive to do so. We had already paid her a large lump sum of money. To make matters worse, when I then inquired how expensive she was thinking and why when I had paid for her to make it fit, she said she didnt have time to change it now and that it looked perfect so she didnt understand what the problem was. I was devastated. I frantically searched the web for another tailor, just to get a second opinion, to see if this really was the way that I had to look on my wedding day. I found that Cocos Off The Rack was very close, called, and set up my appointment. BEST DECISION EVER MADE. Coco and her amazing daughter took immaculate care of me from the moment we met, keeping me calm and stress free when I was worried and frantic. Coco was very respectful and professional about my situation, never bad talking the other local tailor, but pointed out all of the reasons why my dress wasnt fitting correctly, even after months and months of tailoring. Coco made my dress fit me like perfection in just a few weeks!!! I couldnt believe it. I was stunning on my day, felt like the most beautiful woman alive, and it was many thanks to Coco. Not only is she superb at her work, the customer service that she and her daughter give is amazing as well. They are the sweetest, kindest people. I am so fortunate to have met and found Cocos Off The Rack and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. I SO appreciate you ladies! Ill be in with wedding pictures!
