The staff makes this place! Nerdy, experienced and super laid back. Love coming here and already have ideas for the next visit. Things they sell last and will be with you for a long time. Came to get climbing equipment, but for a zipline in the backyard. Glad to report stuff works, no-one died. Yay!

Great place for buying equipment. No, this is not Raupp Campfitters. Location is a bit cramped but they maximize the space. Having knowledgeable and experienced staff makes all the difference. If you need quality gear definitely check here before heading out of town to other stores.

I went into the store to purchase an expensive item (for me it is expensive). It was not in store so the friendly staff led me to order online shipping from the warehouse only 1.5 hours away.Two days later I telephoned the store with concern and was treated very respectfully. I am assured my item will arrive by close of business today.Product arrived, working very well and I am happy with the service so far.

I came into this store today and was greeted by a very friendly individual. I believe his name was Daniel but the staff called him Danny Whizzbang or something along those lines. Then Danny Whizzbang helped me find the Smartwool socks and showed the climbing equipment. He showed us the pull up bar but couldnt do more pull ups then me. Overall the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend stopping in and saying hello to Danny whizzbang and the moosejaw staff at this clean, organized well merchandised location!

I love this funky shop! They always have really cool signs outside and do really fun events like root beer float days! Great rewards program and love their selection of outdoor clothing and accessories! Amazing selection of Yeti! I stocked up on some SmartWool socks, the best socks in the world! Im not usually a big clothing store shopper. I have made it a point to go to Every moose jaw I come across, just because the service is always great. The people are very enthusiastic and friendly and eager to help! I cant help but think this is a great place to work!

I have been coming here for a decade. I used to be a Scout leader and I upgraded from the Troops equipment to the good stuff Moosejaw carries. Dry, warm and comfortable sure beats the opposites. The quality is worth the money, even if you can only buy one piece of equipment at a time. I never would have thought that spending $400 on a two person tent would be a good deal (or $200 on a bag, $80 on a pad, $350 on a pack, etc..).However, remember that dry warm and comfortable part? Priceless!Their knowledgeable service is better than the equipment. They make sure you get the good stuff that fits you and your needs.

Terrible customer service , 3 people at the check out desk still waited 10 minutes with zero line. A glass wall between us and the scared/woke employee still had a mask and a flip down full face guard like he was welding, He was rude and typical of his privileged generation.

Went in to try on a Canada goose coat they decided to quit selling 😨 the guys were real helpful showing me the coats they had and how they compared ! Great selection and price range thank you for the heads up fellas and! 👍👍👍🤠

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted personally and warmly. I loved how they gave me a minute or two to first look at some hiking boots and see what styles I liked, didnt like, etc. Then they came over and asked if they could help. The lady who helped me (sorry I forgot your name) was so passionate about hiking and her job. She was very helpful and gave GREAT insight as to what gear I should buy for my upcoming spring break trip. I had to try on a few pair of hiking boots and she was so nice about going back and getting more pairs for me to try on. I also loved how they would make sure that they were helping as much as they could by answering all my questions and looking online for options if something wasnt available. The staff and gear that they have here are absolutely AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back here and look forward to future business with this MICHIGAN company! You guys rock!!!

Great staff!! They make me love coming here and I go in every time I am nearby. The rewArds program here is really great too. Ive got a lot of free gear through it so make sure you sign up! Theres always some sort of deal going on so if youre open to options you wont always spend 350 on a new coat. They also are dog friendly which I love because my dogs can shop with me!!

Simply the best place for outdoor gear, hands down. Always friendly staff, fun promotions, and quality gear. I definitely recommend the Moosejaw brand clothing and outerwear. More affordable than the a lot of the fancy brands, but just as good, if not better, quality.

Both my girlfriend and myself are fairly new to the world of backpacking and the concept of weight management involved in the activity. The staff was able to answer all the eager questions we had and give us plenty of advice. From helping us determine pack sizing to answering questions about bathing he definitely enlightened us on the world of backpacking.Once fitted for a pack they helped us load them up with some weights while giving us packing strategy on where to best place the heavy objects in the pack. Allowing us to walk around in them and discuss them on our own; I have to say it was very nice not being pressured during any of the processes making us feel very comfortable during the entire experience.Their infectious enthusiasm and extensive experience in backpacking definitely grew our excitement for out upcoming trip. Although this was our first in store stop and we didnt purchase anything, at no point did we feel pressured by the staff. This in itself creates a very inviting and comfortable shopping experience.Needless to say we will be back to this location once we refine our shopping list and we will definitely recommend this location.

I felt like I intruded on a Staff/friend work party! No one said hello. No one asked if I needed any help. Two of the girls dressed up handing out Halloween candy to little kids for ELs Great Pumpkin walk swearing at each other while other staff thought it was cool to do the same. I always am greeted with great enthusiasm and feel like Im being taken care of. Not all the staff is the most knowledgeable in advanced outdoor stuff, but they do offer good insight.

Great staff, stock and feel to the store. It makes me want to hike even though I do not. They have great clothes, jackets and camping supplies.

The amount of prompt customer service I received may have broken the world record for customer service. Theres a lot of businesses that could learn from the staff in the East Lansing store. Outstanding.

The prices are kinda high but the staff is what makes this place amazing, theyre friendly, let me base climb rope jn their store, and sleep in the hammock they have eight feet in the air. We also played frisbee for a solid twenty minutes with theyre pot holder style frisbee. It such an amazing experience that me and all of my friends bought something
