Ill give 2 stars because they answered my questions. I just wish they were a little nicer in this place. Every time I go into this Verizon store they give me the impression that they dont want me there. Whatever happened to Thank you for coming to Verizon or something like that? Is it because I do not represent a commission opportunity to them? I dont know what it is but they need better customer service skills. Would you be this cold to a guest in your home?

I had a good experience. Needed a phone for my dad and i placed order online to pick up at this store. The associates were helpful and it took 1/2hr but got my phone and the associate were conversing so we dont feel left out or boar when we r waiting.

The manager Valerie was not nice. I stopped by because I got the new phone and wanted to transfer data and set up. She didnt listen to my full needs and thought it was easy to be completed at home. I knew that was not true based on my experience and different than what I was told by the Sales when I ordered in the store last week, so I insisted to do it in the store. She said you can have a seat there if you want. It turned out that I was right because my new Galaxy z fold needs to insert a new SIM card. Also I was switching from Tmobile toVerizon unfortunately it was failed. They were reasons that I had to set up new phones in the store with a technicians help. At the end, another young lady (sorry I didnt know her name) came over offered help, and Matt also went through the process with me and answered questions patiently. I would give 5 stars to that young lady and Matt. What Valerie did was not worth a managers position. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to verify and follow up. 9/12/21

I was taken right away my rep in the office was good, but they were having technical issues so I couldnt get a phone. The customer service rep on the phone was phenomenal. Verizon needs more reps like the one I had, her knowledge of the products and deals was so on point.

Went in to buy a car charger to be in and out and was told I have to wait 30 minutes to purchase something. I said that this was ridiculous and then the staff was down right nasty! I told them to keep the charger and Ill go to target! Im so irate over the service I might just change my provider! If I could give a negative rating it would be a -5.

I am 70 years old and just wanted some assistance with transferrng my device data and photos to a new device I bought from Verizon. I was mocked for being unable to do this myself. Very prompt and knowledgeable service even when I got there about 30 minutes before closing. The woman at the front was nice and helped me quickly and the agent who took care of me set my new phone up in a snap. Definitely recommend and they are a corporate store so they can take care of many issues if you need.

This place doesnt even deserve one star , customer service was terrible. I only had two simple questions. I was told by an employee that she couldnt help me after watching her sit and talk to another employee who just ended her shift for 10mins because she was the only one working , on top of that both of them were rude and when asked why there is only one person working in the whole store I was given attitude. Her explaining to me that she couldnt help took longer than if she would have answered my question. The place wasnt busy only one other couple in the store. Dont go here its a waste of your time. Go to a location that actually cares about customers. Time to switch carriers since they dont want my business.

By far the worst Verizon store I have ever been to. I went there simply to get a sim card for my 5G device. They said cannot just simply give out sim cards. I said okay, here’s my phone number and Here’s my account. Oh, you have a business account, our business rep is not here, she works 9-5pm. I’m sorry but I didn’t know you need a business rep just to handle a FREAKING SIM CARD! Ladies and Gentlemen, save your time and energy, just call 611. Do what you have to do, this store is uniquely useless nor helpful.

Today November 18, At noon, The worker who was greeting people out the door was on some sort of power trip. In just three minutes I was waiting on line he refused to let four people into the store And gave major attitude for no reason. He also was wearing an employee tag with a picture of that definitely wasn’t him and a name that didn’t match his shirt.

Got to Verizon and was going to switch over. I was told to wait outside in my car and they will call me. Waited for 30 minutes, as I saw people come after me and go in I asked if I can make an appointment and come back later. I was told no, all the appointments are full for the next five days. I dont know why I wasnt told that today was already booked for all appointments and that I would only get in if someone doesnt show up. I just left after that since he wasted about an hour of my time.

Terrible customer service!. My daughter and I went in right before Christmas to switch our service from AT&T to Verizon. We waited for assistance but no one came to our aid. Then, we watched as all reps, including reps of color, go to every white person that entered the store and asked for their name to put on some sort of waiting list. Thats when I said, excuse me, weve been waiting for a long time. A rep finally took my information but did a poor job of explaining why we werent helped. While my daughter and I waited, I watched this happen time and time again with other people of color that walked into the store. Finally, a rep came to our assistance but she did such a poor job of explaining everything we ended up leaving. The next day we visited the Verizon in Menlo Park mall and met Chris. He provided exceptional customer service. Chris was clear and direct with everything. This store needs more people like Chris.Update: It has been almost 3 weeks and Verizon still hasn’t contacted me.

I had both my parents come to this location to get set up with Verizon. I am stationed out of state, and had to send them into the store to join my account without me physically being present.We were looking to do a $250 gift card online offer to sign up, and just pick up the SIM card in store. Michael told my parents that they would have to go through him, and got them on a in person sign up, which is only the $150 gift card promotion. I was able to do the in store pick up at two other stores before this, and they were more than happy to help me get the $250 bonus welcome. Maybe this was due to how the system actually works at this location, or maybe Michael wanted the numbers towards his quota.However, Michael also signed my parents up for phone insurance even though they expressly said they didnt want it. He said that he needs to put the insurance on the account, and that our only option if we didnt want it is to take it off later.I am ok with wheeling and dealing doing business myself. However, I do not like when people take advantage of my parents. This will be filed with corporate as well.On the plus, everyone at the store is experienced and the reception provided by Verizon is great.

I walked in and asked if they had pixel 3 screen protectors. The person in the front said yes and told me that I had to wait for a sales associate. I asked if I could just pay for it quickly and she said no. I waited 15 minutes. Sales associate called me and asked what I wanted. I said a pixel 3 screen protector and she said they didnt have any - they only had covers for the 3a. If the person in the front didnt dismiss my needs and took a second to check, we could all have saved some time (and return business).

Going to just call Verizon’s 1800 number in stead. It’s like they don’t want me to open more lines. Please think twice before doing any business there.

I visited this Verizon store two weeks ago and switched my service from ATT. The store is very clean and organized.Thanks to Albert helping me switched my cellular service, he made sure that all SIM cards are activated on every phone, and he picked the best Data plan that fits our needs.  The whole thing took about 30 minutes.I definitely would recommend this location for anyone who is looking for the Verizon cellular service.

Raj manager is one of the most honest men I have met. I walked in and the queue wait was over an hour. He was up front about it and honest. He told the same to another customer and they revolted saying this store has horrible customer experience and they would leave a bad review. This is a store where they take the time to address your problems and are honest about the most economical options. I have been multiple times, and although I may have to wait 10-15 minutes, the staff is very professional. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel the reviews left disproportionately are left by impatient customers seeking instant gratification. Thank you to Raj and his team for the help.

These poor employees that work in such a poorly managed store that customers wait hours when there is only one person in line.Obviously people get irate.My husband and I shouldnt have to be stressed out sitting in a store defending the staff from irate customers, mind you with NO security to be seen anywhere.Its honestly repulsive and whomever runs this store needs common sense training or at least be able to pay someone who is smart enough to keep a full staff.

Staff were helpful and courteous. But the store needs to do better when it comes to queueing customers. I noticed several customers come in and get passed over by others who came in later. If you didnt know to sign up with a Verizon employee for the queue, youd get upset being passed over for others. It could mean a difference of more than 30 minutes per person before youd be helped. Needs to be better signage and staff needs to pay attention to who enters store.

I was in the store last night getting new phone. The young lady name Lauren, assisted during my purchase. She rushed me out because it was closing time. She gave me the new phone without setting up my phone as tough it was active. When i got home my phone was not active, nor i was able to do anything. I was on phone with Verizon and Apple for good two hrs to be able to activate and access everything on my phone. I do not recommend horrible service by her

I know other people have had different experiences than mine, but I find the staff at this store to be disinterested and to make no effort at customer service. My latest visit was last night: Im going to get a new phone before the end of the year. Im not sure if I want to continue with Galaxy or get an iPhone. There was NOBODY in the store, so I was hoping to discuss the options on both, and my husband asked about upcoming specials. When I stated my situation/question, the guy actually SHRUGGED at me! He was also very abrupt and condescending to my husband. Ill keep an eye out, and if they run a special Ill order on line before I go there again. From my experience on a Thursday [keep in mind] service was fast and helpful and went very smooth sailing, from the other reviews it sounds as if the manager is ignorant and service sucks on other days, also the staff is very pushy if deciding just to browse. If going to this store I only recommend going on week days if possible and only to buy / fix something with that thought already had. If you want to browse go over to best buy.

Due to a computer glitch the iPhone I went into the store to buy was shipped to my house due to the skew number being mixed up. The phone was in the sales persons hands and I wasnt walking out with it. I NEVER gave them to option to ship my phone, but it automatically did that, when I asked for it to be voided out I was told no, that I just needed to wait. How was this person not getting on the phone to corporate to get this resolved? Well 48 hours and 2 hours on the phone with corporate I still do not have a phone and when I asked them if they can help they say it is out of their hands, when really it was their complete fault. Verizon I think is too big to handle their customers and you can tell by the service on the phone and in stores.

I never post reviews, and this is the first review Im posting due to the horrible experience we had with the manager at the Verizon store at 314 Route 18 in East Brunswick, NJ today (08-21-2016).I own a chain of high service and high sales retail stores, and today I had one of the worst retail experiences with the manager on duty at this store. I have over 20 phones on our account at Verizon and the manager rudely hung up on me and would not help us because he was overwhelmed in the store with customers.We asked him to help us call Verizon Service to provide him the access he needed to assist us with our large account, since he couldnt access our account with my employees at the store. He refused because he was too busy and then hung up on me because he had to go help other customers. Verizon service is often challenging but I never had a Verizon Associate treat me and my staff like this.

The reps at this store pretty much did and said anything to have us sign the paperwork and call it a deal.Reason of our visit: Switch carriers, get new phones and receive some awesome promotions. Simple right?1st) The promotions we come to find out have some pretty terrible terms. It’s like you step into a 2 year contract just reworded. Which we were ok with. The problem came few weeks later and now months later when we are still on the phone with customer service because the things we were told at the story were not true. At this point it doesn’t matter cause the time frame passed and of course nobody cares now. We received 2 rebates the other 2 got denied which makes no sense cause all 4 lines were the same when we switched. Every time the rebate department has a new story why. What was told at the store doesn’t matter.2nd) The store was closing so they rushed to get us out of the store. We ended up spending hours with customer service on the phone trying to set our devices in the days to come even though we were given our device’s at the time of visit. When we said we will just come back tomorrow we were assured everything will be fine and we will just have to put our sims cards when they come in.3rd) Our service is terrible. I don’t have service in my house or randomly in the city and all I’m told is to reset my phone.If I had the option now I would’ve stay with att and most likely will end up switching back even though it will mean losing hundreds of dollars in phones we traded in. Lots more to this story but be careful to double check the info they tell you at the store.

Im going to butcher this spelling terribly, but the representative, Wassim, was incredibly helpful while upgrading my phone. They didnt have the specific model (a Galaxy s8) I was looking for on site, so he directed me to other locations where I could find one. He even went so far as to go over the different available pricings per location to find me the best deal. He greatly exceeded my customer service expectations, especially after it was apparent that I wouldnt be getting my new phone there. I even went back to get my case from the store, because of how impressed I was. Give that man a raise!

Long wait, no water or bathroom avaible to customers. I waited for at least an hour. My issue with my phone was a temporary fix. It lasted 1 day before the phone started acting up again. We did not get to test my phone before leaving the store. It was almost closing time and my phone had be reset back to factory settings. It was still reloading my information when we left the store. So we had know idea if the reset would help the issue. It did help most of the problem but the phone is still having issues. This is my 3rd phone before a year has ended.

Watch out for the con game. I am not one to easily get scammed, but i was scammed by this store. The sales people will bundle items onto your purchase. you have 14 days to return the items without paying a restocking fee, but you will not see a bill for 30 days. They also do not provide you with an official copy of your future bill upon purchase (they do this on purpose). Therefore, when your bill arrives, and you freak out because you have been unjustly overcharged, you get hit with a $50 fee to return the item. TOTAL SCAM. Thankfully, the overarching Verizon understood this was a scam and reimbursed us for everything but the the restocking fee, which has to be done local. The store would not refundus the restocking fee because we tried to return at day 17. Consider this your warning.

Could be just a case of one employee not knowing what to do but I went in there with my significant other to upgrade her phone plan and take our two number and put them on to one plan. Guy seems confused and then in the form of a question say, I think the computer that does that, is dowwwn? Kinda screwed my girl over because during this rushed process he fails to ask her for her old device to trade in, activated the new phone and the short of it is, the old one cant be used as a credit towards the new device. It isnt just this store, it seems all local Verizon stores in my area are lacking quality, helpful employees.

The last time I went in was to have the SIM card transferred from my damaged LG G7ThinQ to my new one. I asked the sales associate some questions about transferring pictures and what not from my old phone to my replacement, he could barely be bothered to answer me, let alone look at me. He was too busy playing Toon Blast on his phone. I did complain to the store manager about it. I didnt get the guys name, so I had to refer to him as the black employee because thats what he was. I told the manager if he doesnt want to do his job, let him go home and play Toon Blast. There are plenty of people that need jobs that would gladly take his job if he doesnt feel like helping customers. Its not like working in a Verizon store is a physically taxing job. I sincerely hope that employee was fired. Let him go home to his wife and kids to explain why he doesnt have a job anymore.

Manager was quite impatient with my mother and I. Many of the employees/solutions experts were not focusing on task and chatted with their coworkers instead of helping customers. I cant believe how unprofessional everything was dealt with. I called customer support to assist me with something and I was instructed to go to a Verizon store after they changed some settings in my account to help me with my problem. So I went to the store, upon entering the store and asking for help with my problem the manager could not process my request; she simply said welp, I cant help you; call customer support. After telling her I came to the store based on the instructions I received from customer support she [the manager] continued to repeat call customer support and did not provide me with a solution. Although my problem was resolved somewhat by another solutions expert in the store, the general attitude I received whilst in the store was one of impatience and disinterest. Went to have a Zagg glass protector for my SG 9 replaced. They were the ones in the first place that put it on crappy back in April. A week after i had the new phone it cracked.
