Be very careful at this location. I came in looking to get a state inspection. On the website one of their recommended appointments is a complete vehicle inspection. I will say I didnt realize there was a difference between that and a state inspection. I went to the location and told them I was due for an inspection and needed the inspection done. Maybe Im wrong, but I feel that would be the moment they would say that either they dont perform state inspection or ask me to clarify whether I needed the vehicle inspected or the state inspection. They did not do either of these things and charged me for just looking the car over and I left without an inspection sticker. Honestly, I dont even know why they offer the vehicle inspection service if not to actively con people. Why not just got to an actual licensed state inspection place, pay for the inspection/any repairs needed at that time? Why have this extra unnecessary step in the middle? They are obviously more concerned with charging for unnecessary services rather than ensuring theyre doing the correct service a customer actually needs. I wont be returning and I wouldnt recommend you go here. Find a local place you can actually trust and that wont screw you over.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would! This place is horrible, ridiculous With full Attitude, likes i handover car to HELL Department. I have never had such a bad experience in my entire life in the United States. I came here 11:30 am. First I waited here for 3 hours. Then I saw that my file had not yet gone to the repair service department.Then I said this is still my car file here, They turned me on. And then got it done secretly.Made me wait longer.Then an hour later I saw the my car still not yet done.I asked again.No answer. There was only one employee at the reception and he was handling the whole place.Well, then I begged a lot and took my car key back to home without FIX. I went back 5oclock evening WITHOUT FIX . May God not show such a BAD day to anyone.Their customer service is useless. I will never come here again. And God forbid their business flops badly who don’t know about customer care.I lost the whole Sunday, which was only twenty minutes of work for only one tyre change. I would advise everyone not to go here.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would! This place is ridiculous! We made an appointment and arrived a bit early. They quoted 1.5-2 hours to complete a wheel alignment and rotation due to being backed up. Come two hours, we return to location to find THE CAR HASNT EVEN BEEN TAKEN IN!! Never received a phone call nor an apology but was greeted with AN ATTITUDE! They proceeded to quote another 45 mins and 25 mins later, THE CAR IS STILL SITTING OUTSIDE! Beware of time and service. I would recommend another location if possible! Thanks for ruining any plans that we had in place afterwards. Had to rework the entire day!Update: We asked for our keys and walked away! Just as others were doing the same.

Got a flat at 4PM on a Saturday. These guys were the ONLY ones willing to help us out after calling 10 to 15 different places. Got a new tire and was on the road in an hour. Couldnt be happier. Thanks again guys!

I was able to drive in on short notice to have a slow leak in one tire checked. It needed to be repaired. Bill, the service representative, was courteous and professional. It is one of many reasons I have been a Firestone credit card carrying customer for many years and have work done at that facility. Highly recommend.

Very honest. I have been using them for over 10 years with many cars and found them to be very honest. A recent example was my car was making loud grinding noises when I drove. I was nervous it was something with my suspension or wheels. Turns out was just some metal I picked up as I drove, so they just removed it- problem fixed! A less reputable dealer could have had a field day with telling me all sorts of replacements parts were needed.

I think this Firestone location can do so much better in serving the diverse community that it is located in. Let me be clear. I felt that me being a brown skin person did not get same service as a white person walking in to the shop. After all we should be treated equal and I did not feel that level of service. I have lifetime alignment service with them on one of my cars. So I will have to use them but I also feel that they did a poor job on the alignment of my car which has caused me to loose tread badly. I will not give them any business going forward.

Do not waist your money. I asked for a full diagnostic on my Jeep. 1300 dollars later nothing is fixed. The turns signals that they supposedly fixed are still messed up. The tired that they patched up is still leaking. Oh top of that I took my car for a second opinion and they diagnose that 4 engine gaskets need to be replaced. How can you say that you’ve fixed anything or for that matter checked that everything is running properly? This place is stealing from people, I am very disappointed and if I could give it 0 stars I would.

Had the worst experience at this auto shop, if I could give it a 0 or a negative rating believe me I would! People...READ THE REVIEWS...do not make the same mistake I made by taking my car for service here without reading the reviews. This place is a nightmare! I went in for something simple, a wheel balance and came out of there with a big problem that will be a big bill fixing it. As soon as I was about to drive off something told me to look at my dash. Sure enough I have an airbag light on. I HAD NO LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD PRIOR TO TAKING MY VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP, so I went back inside and talked to the service advisor, he came out and looked at the car and looked at me as if I had 20 heads, then another gentleman came out and offered to plug in the computer, he did. The air bag light didn’t go away no matter what so he offered to look at the car the next day but at an extra charge...excuse me but why would I pay for something that was done by them in the first place, then he said to drop it off and he’ll need a day to look at it thoroughly. I HAVE NO TRUST WHATSOEVER IN THIS SHOP ANYMORE so how can I leave my vehicle there for a day. I took the car to independent mechanics, they all said the same, it’s the CLOCK SPRING that went bad because it was mishandled by this shop! If you guys aren’t happy working there then just QUIT! People shouldn’t have to pay for your misery. I just took the car to the DEALERSHIP and they confirmed the clock spring needs to be replaced and it’ll be a nice hefty bill to fix it. I will be going back to this shop with a receipt and demand a REFUND for the damages they caused!!!

Staff is extremely rude and condescending. Went there for a specific set of tires, the guy told me they didn’t have them and instead sold me overpriced Firestone tires that supposedly were the only ones they had left. Almost $300 later, as he’s handing me my keys back, he tells me I should get my headlights checked because one is out. I had no other issues with my car besides a flat and the headlights are brand new and were working just fine when I got there. If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. Save your time and money and go literally anywhere else.

If I could give 0 stars, I really would. I have been a customer at Firestone since I started driving 7 years ago, my parents have been customers much longer than that. I have had many awful experiences at different Firestone locations, but never this one. I decided I would only take my car to the firestone in East Brunswick whenever I need something because Ive had great experiences there... Turns out I was very wrong to think this. Last summer I received 2 new parts in my car from this Firestone because my AC stopped working. It was fixed towards the end of the summer, so I did not really need to use it much after the fix. Summer has begun and I noticed my AC blowing cool air, but not cold air. So I brought it to Firestone and they said they could fix it, along with the other things I needed done. I came to pick it up when it was ready and when I got in my car the cool air was warmer than when I brought it in! I sat in my car for 10 minutes waiting for it to kick in, but it never worked. I walked back into the store to inform the 2 people working. So we have Tracy and Mike the service manager. Tracy asked what I needed and I explained to her my situation. She shrugged her shoulders and said oh, I dont know brushing me off to Mike. Very unprofessional. I have had many other encounters with her where she was unprofessional or even just did not know what she was talking about, but that is besides the point. Mike and Tracy continue on with their conversation and are laughing and having fun, THEN Mike addresses me. Let me be an older man coming in the store, I am sure they would of addressed me much more professionally and sooner. Mike tells me to leave the car overnight and it will be fixed in the morning. I come back the next day and deal with the rudest employee at Firestone, Andrew. When I came back into the store to tell him yet again, my car is not blowing cold air he had the I dont know what to do for you attitude and walked away from me, later coming back. He was undeniably rude to me behind closed doors but then wanted to play the victim when he needed to speak to my father. I also asked him to put his mask on while standing so close to me while talking and he looked at me like he had something rude to say, he rolled his eyes, and then put his mask on. He was so fed up with me as a customer that he just brushed me off to the manager once the manager finally got there. Andrew does not know how to deal with problems nor give basic customer service. He should not have the privilege of being in the store without a manager because he is unprofessional and does not care about his representation of the company. He kept giving me timeframes that were not true like constantly saying the manger will be here in 2 minutes, when the manger actually came in 30 minutes. He acted like my car was blowing cold air. He then told me that Firestone does not control how cold my car gets, but when he called me to pick up the car he said it was blowing 40 degrees and he has it on video... Andrew did not have it on video. It was a picture. And it was blowing about 44 degrees. How do we know that it was truly blowing 40 degrees with a picture? Either way, when I came to pick it up, it was blowing 62 degrees. So why is there about a 20 degree difference now? Andrew really was the last straw for me at Firestone. I also will be going much higher than just this post here. I cannot possibly type everything that went wrong with my encounter with Andrew because it would take me all day. It took another employee to come out and say there is an issue with my car and admit the mistakes that were made AND for Mike to come in early for me just to get the situation handled. The customers are clearly not the main priority here. Mike did fix my car for now. I appreciate his willingness to make things right. We have no idea if he actually addressed Andrew, but now you all know to sprint away from this place because they just want your money. You have officially lost a customer Firestone. Thank you to Andrew!

Good location and friendly staff. Ive been coming here over the dealership because the prices are very fair with quick service. I have new tires with lifetime wheel alignment and purchased a new battery with a 5 year battery and am happy with the cost and quality.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. These reviews are FAKE !! DISGUSTINGLY HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT & service. Regret ever coming here or opening an account. Staff make huge mistakes and deny , lie and blame customers. Many gross encounters. One time being that They lost my lug nut key and promised they would order a new one for my car and would call me when it came in, 2 weeks go by and I call and ask and they denied ever losing it or promising to order , said that i never had it in the vehicle to begin with! Well how so if you were able to change my tires and when giving my keys back the MANAGER told me about the incident! Another being I went for an engine light check , they “diagnosed” the car and bill came out to more than $1000 , after getting my car back the light was still on , had to pay more to figure out AGAIN why it was still on, they did unnecessary work the first time and took a week of going back and forth to them when the light still kept coming on!! Most recently I went in to pay my bill I paid a relatively high amount (they only take cash in store) next months statement comes and states not only was no payment made but they also charged a late fee!! HA ! I immediately went into the store and saw exactly the person who I gave the money to and he flat out said no I did not pay it or give him money and walked away! WTF is that?? Couldn’t even talk to anyone to review camera footage or anything!!

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Firestone, the prices are outrageously high. Went in to get a simple stock muffler installed and was told I had to wait because the computers were down and the mechanics couldn’t even change the oil on any of the cars without the computers up to know what oil to use (seriously? A mechanic doesn’t know what oil goes in each car?), anyway after waiting for 2hrs I asked for a quick quote on the work even if it’s a ballpark guess and they told me +$600 at least! For reference I went to Monroe on the other side of Rt. 18 and it was $200 but they couldn’t fit me when I needed it done by so I came here. They couldn’t even tell me a breakdown of the price, when I asked for one I got two blank stares.

Great staff, quick and easy service with trustworthy mechanics that aren’t afraid to bring you out to show you exactly what’s going on with your car! Glenn did a great job with my repairs while walking me through his process. Steve helped me get my account set up in no time while taking the time to make sure I understood everything, and Dave got me back on the road as soon as Glenn was finished while making sure that everything went smooth from start to finish. I cannot speak enough about the honest and knowledgeable staff at Firestone! Jim Knapp(Store manager) was so helpful in diagnosing a problem that a dealership said that my car had--which it did not! Jim and his staff are wonderful! I will be bringing my daughters car there for all future auto repairs and maintenance and will recommend everyone I know to visit Firestone for their car needs, as well !! We had also just recently purchased a full set of tires from Firestone and that experience was also wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I got stuck right outside their store and walked right in asking for help. They immediately walked out to my car in the lot and looked at it and knew what to do in a matter of five minutes. They drove it right into the garage and had it repaired within an hour. They are very friendly, courteous, and professional, and I couldn’t have asked for my car to breakdown in a “better” place haha. Definitely recommend to anyone :)

Came into shop and told them exactly where I had a leak. They called me and said the water pump was leaking and it would cost $500. Also tried to up sell me on over $1000 worth of repairs including all new tires. When I declined and stated I just wanted the leak dealt with the manager Chris told me he would replace the water pump. A week later i noticed the leak in the same place. Had to take it back to the location 2 times for them to figure out it was a timing chain cover leak. The manager Chris spoke arrogant and told me there must be 2 leaks and them working on it must have made things worse. Wants to charge me another $400. Stay away from this place. Go to the AAA location on RT18 instead. Firestone needs to evaluate their management staff

Needed a new tie quick for our daughter. There were customers in front of us and only had a little wait!! Nice approachable salesman! Only didnt enjoy the upsell on my car the next day when we dropped it off. If I was another consumer and didnt know my car well enough, very well may have spent another$1200.00. Know your vehicle!!

Firestone training Workshop located in East Brunswick New Jersey, First and foremost have to give a round of applause to the teacher Tom Steele. Great teacher , thanks to him I learned more about Firestone and how to do the work correctly . For five days I had to deal with a fun person who made the class and trip better, but also someone who had some funny storys about the job, just an easy going understandable kind of person. thank you Tom Steele. If you havent been for your job talk to your manager and sign up for the next available class they have, I will be going for the break class next, you can never learn to much. Who are we? Rude employees. They got dismissive when I refused the extra $2000 in repairs they claimed I needed. Seemed annoyed I didnt want to apply for a firestone credit card. I only went in for an oil change. Price quoted over the phone was over $20 as well.

They promised me that after 800$ worth of work, my vibration issue would go away. Did not. The new brakes they installed squealed pretty badly. Guy tried to make it seem like it was normal. Go to Mavis on RT 9 in Old Bridge and see Max. 100% better shop.

Had my van do a wheel alignment after upper control arm replacements. First time came out the store pulling right, called in and brought the van in for a second one two days later. Toe was way out and after the second one it still pulled right . Called in again and they said that there was probably something wrong with the van. (Arent they supposed to check that before alignment?) Never offered to redo or check whatever was wrong. They just leave the customer in a bad spot. Very unprofessional

A/C was blowing hot air in the summer. Firestone says I need a $1500 compressor. I brought the car to Honda & they fix it for $300. Decided then I wouldnt bring my car back there for diagnostic service calls, just the real straight forward stuff like oil changes. I went back this week to have a flat tire plugged. Firestone says they pulled a nail from the side wall and it cant be repaired. The funny thing is I know what I ran over to get the flat... and it wasnt a nail. Brought my car to another shop and they plugged it no problem. So Ive established for myself Firestone is either incompetent, thieves or both. I will not be returning, even for the simple stuff like oil changes.

Brought my car in because the airbag light was on. They said they did a full check and found something else wrong with the car. I told them to fix that as well. They charge me $350 so I assume everything gets fixed. I get back in my car and the airbag light is still on. I go back to complain and the manager yells at me saying I never asked for that to be fixed and told me if I pay him $400 he’ll fix it. If you want to be scammed, highly recommend this place

Ive been coming to this Firestone for years. The customer service is great, they are communicative and give recommendations without putting pressure on you to get them done. I usually leave my car overnight or go catch a movie at the mall while I wait. That way time is not an issue for me and they can take their time to make sure the job is done right.

Impossible to give this joint more then 1 star. I asked them to check one thing, they calling me back trying to sell me something useless, but lucrative for them. They charged me 20$ to look at lower ball joint and bushing, while doing oil change. wrote me that I need something that was done 6 mo ago. Avoid these scam bait and switch artists, I will never get my car there again.

Really bad con artists. I bought tires from here in late 2017. They told me it was free tire rotations for the lifetime of the tire. I go in, they do the work, then they try to charge me for the tire afterwards. I told them I wasnt going to pay, so they gave me my keys back. Then they give you a list of recommended work you NEED done, or your car risks failure. Thing is, they gave me a completely different list of CRITICAL MAINTENANCE when I was in in late 2017. You wont walk out of here without a list thats several thousand dollars.ALL OF THIS SAID - Im not even sure if they actually rotated my tires. Avoid this place at all costs, very slimy business.

I paid for 4 brand new tires, They gave me the run around when two of my tires weren’t good. I asked for corporate’s information and asked for my car back. While I waited for my car’s tires to be put back On I had my mother wait in the lobby while I waited in the car with my sleeping toddler in front of the building. They made her wait 35 mins to get the car back. Come to find out they did even touch my car all the workers were sitting around once I started taking photos and one of them noticed what I was doing he quickly started putting my tires back on. This place is nothing but problems, DO NOT trust them

I m a firestone customer for over 15 years. I was not pleased with the customer service I received from the new manager he tried to over charge me for a brake job. I was quoted one price that I was fine with then he changed it because he stated the tech gave me the wrong price. It was a $50.00 difference once my car was ready the bill went up another fifty dollars I asked to speak with the manager that’s when he dropped the extra $50.00. I was always comfortable taking my car to firestone but after this incident I will have to look elsewhere.Unhappy ex firestone customer

I experienced excellent customer service from the auto care advisor Dave Chandler and Auto Tec Tom. I came in to get a oil change and my tires looked at; in my enterprise prize rental truck. The Auto tech Tom noticed the front passenger tire was bad, with that being noticed Dave went above and beyond to get approval for the tire replacement. Mine you, I’m Texas and I’m leaving out 3am est headed back to Texas. Overall excellent customer service from the firestone in East Brunswick at 755 NJ-18, East Brunswick, NJ 08816

These guys couldnt even complete an oil change without ruining my car (or my garage). Backstory: I got my oil changed at Firestone in East Brunswick. I later noticed a large oil puddle that formed over the course of a few weeks on my newly finished epoxy garage floor. Given that my car is usually parked in a garage when Im home I did not notice it until many weeks later and my low oil light came on. That prompted me to look under the car and find a huge oil puddle.I thought something major is wrong with my car so I took it to the Mazda dealer he told me that the Firestone Tech that did the oil change misthreaded the oil pan plug and in trying to force it in stripped the plug.These guys dont even know the basics of how to thread a screw. They need to go back to school. I made a mistake not bringing my car to the dealer to begin with. I made an even bigger mistake trying to call these guys who attempted to give me some BS story to justify why the plug was stripped. The manager even asked me to text him pictures of the issues. I sent him pictures from underneath the car provided by the Mazda dealer showing the drpping oil from the plug area. The Firestone manager provided no follow-up or remorse whatsoever and surely will manage the service station into the ground.Going to these guys initially and then having someone else clean up their mess cost me hours of my time and a stain on my newly finished floors.... let alone the cost of a premature oil change and a oil pan drain plug that I had to buy.I think its obvious that I do not recommend using them even for something so small as an oil change.

Long time Firestone customer. Made an appt online a few days before for Monday oil change. Got a voice mail l at 8:15 am day of the appointment saying that they can take me but they could not guarantee how long I would have to wait. I called back 5 times before anyone answered. The guy who answered said he is alone and the nine appt scheduler is double booking appts. When I said I took the day off and I am a long time customer and calling me the morning of the appt is unacceptable, his response is his is what he is dealing with. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location. The manager is great!!! Today I just think I was treated unfairly when I did everything that was supposed to be done to book an online appt. Very frustrated. I am getting m service down somewhere else today.

Bought four tires and they did an amateurish balancing. Awful, shoddy work. If you know how to balance a tire this photo is all you need to see. The heavy spot is not across from the valve stem and they tried to chase the balance with weights.

Great service center which took very good care of me they gave me no problems point I promise I could have in the future but didnt try to rip me off prices were very reasonable and the people were very friendly Id like to recommend it just Firestone keep up the good work you will all have a good time going to this one
