I could hear I had an exhaust leak but could not find it. Mike’s shop found the leak and provided a custom fix. If I would have taken my vehicle somewhere else it would have cost me much more. Thank you Mike!

I had arrived late and she took me in any way. He changed my oil and exactly the amount of time that he said it would take. I thought I needed a new air filter and he told me that I did not need one. I was very appreciative of his honesty. He could have easily replaced it and I would not have known. I am going back there for a front end alignment.

This is an honest review. Got there and waited 8 minutes in the waiting room before anyone recieved me. After talking to a very unpleasant man, they took my car in for a FREE estimate. (The only good thing) After figuring out what i needed after I already told him, he then came back to me have the most dry and passive aggressive conversation Ive had in a long time. Im an Engineer and I know how these places try to give you the run around. They successfully tried everything. He then gave me my estimate.... $410. For a muffler. Thats all I needed was a new muffler. $410. This place is a joke, the workers may be good at their jobs but the older gentleman needs to stay in the workshop not in the office.

Been coming here for years. Usually never had a problem, maybe its the case of the Mondays. I scheduled my mom an 9am oil change for her Odyssey, and the guy had an real attitude and wouldnt even look at her to charge that $77 oil change package. My mom said she got upset and just left. Sorry if customers are bothering you at work, guy!

I really was surprised by how quickly I was able to get service and how affordable the completed service was. Very friendly environment and I would definitely be using their services again, in fact I may be changing mechanics due to the service i received by this company. I came in without much oil at all and they did a quick oil change, and I was able to go on with the rest of my day without any worries what so ever! My window stuck down and I requested help. The guy took 15mins or more just to remove the door panel and 5 mins to diagnose the issue which was as per them the door motor and they quoted $423 for 1.8 hr labor for $125 per hour plus the motor $135 and ask to choose to pay the labor for the diagnosis $73 without repair, which more than half an hour payment, or fix it with that amount, and when I accepted the quote I found the guy took only total of one hour to replace the motor, and discover that they charge $34 for shop supply which first time to see.So I don’t recommend them, expensive, and can take advantage of you, especially the guy in the front desk was aggressive in answering my questions.

I would never ever recommend this place to anybody, please don’t go here ever. The manager has a lot of attitude and is very rude and unprofessional. He had my car for a week and didn’t have the parts and said it would take about an year to order, when i got the part myself he said he would take another week to put it in and was rude about it the whole time. NEVER EVER GO HERE.

So I know for sure I got the $35 package yesterday..there were a few things I know was wrong,but when I got my car back neither of the 2 things wrong were not told to me. This makes me believe my car wasnt properly observed or looked over. My wipers are ripped and my air filter is dirty these 2 things that are always addressed during other oil changes were basically Missed or not inspected at all. Not cool

I wish I knew how to give it zero stars. I made an appointment online, received a confirmation email and a reminder text the morning of and when my husband arrived he was told that he did not have an appointment and they didn’t care about his confirmation. When he asked how long it would be to wait, he was told, “when I’m done”. Needless to say my husband left and we will not be returning. Mix up with appointments can happen, but the rude attitude my husband was greeted with is unacceptable.

We got a flat on the Jersey Turnpike. We put the spare on and then looked for a local shop to repair our tire. Meineke was a few miles away and they had our tire patched and got us back on the road in 20 minutes. They’re a lifesaver!

Had my rear brakes done 8 months ago, along with my struts replacement, total bill was 1600 dollars. My brakes recently started making a grinding noise so I brought it to a repair shop and they told me my front and rear brakes were bad. I told the mechanic that the rear brakes were just done less than 7,000 miles and he told me it didn’t look so. I brought the car back to Meineke thinking the job would be warranty, to my surprise the service manager Mike tells me that the line froze and that the calipers went bad, and that I would have to pay for the repair. I ask Mike how? A brake job generally involves replacing brake lines, resurfacing the rotors/drums, adding brake fluid, bleeding the system and looking for other worn components. Mike gets defensive and tells me that the other mechanic didnt replace the calipers for my front brakes either. You go to a franchise places like Meineke for quality work, not excuses. I am extremely dissatisfied that this issue was missed or not addressed which now is going to cost me more money. The manager didn’t even offer to see if there was something he could offer, coupon or credit, no accountability or empathy. I use to come here all the time, but not anymore.

Did not provide my service on my lifetime replacement brake pads because I didnt change my rotors also. Rotors were in good condition and didnt need changing. What a let down I thought!!!!

I usually dont leave many reviews because it is far and in between that you get service that leaves you with a good impression but this service was worth a great review. Called thursday afternoon to make appointment to have my exhaust system on my 4runner replaced, spoke to mike. He gave me detailed description on what needed to be replaced and how much it would cost, he also told me i could bring truck in 1st thing friday morning. After replacing my exhaust system, i got a call from mike and he pointed out another exhaust leak they found while making repair and said they can take care of it for an additional cost. I gave approval to make repair which they did. ( most places will do repair without letting you know until you get the bill! ) the truck was completed in a very reasonable time and i was very happy with the repair and PROFESSIONAL service i received. Would highly recommend doing business with these guys again!

Been coming to this place for a few years now for the great prices and good customer service. I’ve been spending the same amount for an oil change for 8 years now and all the sudden I’m charged way more for nothing extra. Job took almost an hour for a basic oil change with only two other cars in the garage. Also, management must have changed because the guy behind the front desk seemed lost on the computer and not very helpful. I’ve never had a problem up until today. Won’t be going back.

Amazing staff. Liam is extremely helpful and friendly. These guys continue to help me out with many different issues I’ve had in and around my vehicle. Super genuine guys, and they take the time to explain to you what codes are read by their computers and what the fixes might entail. Honest and affordable, wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

My cars low brake fluid warning light came on. I called my dealer who said I should get it looked at immediately, and then told me they couldnt schedule me for 10 days. Meineke was close by and I called and they instructed to come by. They quickly diagnosed the problem, didnt try to upsell me more things, fixed my car and had me on my way. Id come back here for my future needs.

I went yesterday to get my belt replaced and I am happy they did a good job and was very nice and respectful I would definitely recommend there service.

I had called a couple of repair shops for replacement of the AC compressor (For my Nissan Pathfinder ) as the clutch was faulty and as a result was not pumping cool air. Meineke gave me a quote for labor and installation. The price was appropriate for the job as I was getting my own part and needed the system checked. Other stores gave me many different stories which I knew weren’t accurate as I know what the job entails technically.Meineke completed the job within the expected timeframe, didn’t find any leaks and even honored a service coupon. Overall, I am impressed with their quality of work, professionalism and courtesy.Looking forward to many more months of cool rides.

The first they cleared the code and sent me on my way and it came back. The second time they said both my O2 sensors need to be replaced together, including the one that was replaced recently, and the first time they said it was good. I will pay dealer prices or junk the car before paying them another cent. Also, they did not close the hood fully and it could have flown open while on the highway. I am disappointed.Update: I paid twice without any value added to me. The second time they quoted me to replace both sensors, which was proven unwarranted since one senor was just replaced prior to taking the vehicle to them. When I declined, they charged me more than they charged the first time. I had the second senor replaced at an honest independent mechanic for a fraction of what I was quoted, and the check engine code is gone.

Paid $877.00 for rear brakes alone. Parts were $438.00 and labor %335.00. Then tax, but they then added shop supplies $49.99 after already paying $20.00 for brake fluid. I paid for parts and then to add the additional parts supply money is down right wrong. He did take off 10% for friends and family but this added expense makes this all wrong especially during COVID. Beware of this shop in East Brunswick.

Made my appointment online , which was very convenient, and received a confirmation almost immediately.Arrived for the appointment a little early and was greeted right away by the service manager to discuss the needed service, exhaust system.Vehicle was brought into the service bay within 30 minutes and on the lift. Accompanied the manager to inspect the system and he explained my issues and what the solutions would be. Was provided with an estimate for the work and told them to proceed with the repairs. Service was good, price was fair. Doug and his team had me in and out within 2 hours on a busy Saturday morning.Would recommend this shop to anyone with exhaust system (muffler and pipe) issues.

They took care of the issues I brought the car in for quickly. An issue with my blinker I thought was not operating they found to be a minor problem with a wire. So I wasn’t charged for! Blinker is working fine and car is running well.

Mostly positive experience, Mike was very knowledgeable and honest, the only negative was that the vehicle was left filthy on the driver’s side door sill and carpet, apparently no one took the time or made an effort to at the very least try and remove the filth.

Went here for an oil change on Saturday. Not only was the mechanic rude because I have a recurring brake issue that no one can seem to resolve but also I just started my car and the oil cap wasnt on securely and came flying off luckily I heard it and put it back on securely. This could.have severely ruined my engine. Will never be coming back.

Again, I am impressed with the actual service and customer service shown by this shop. Originally some months back I brought my car in to see what could be done with a botched muffler repair. Lee and company did the repair and it passed inspection. The cost was a few dollars less than the original estimate. since then they have done brakes on one of our cars and recently a leaking oil pan seal and the best - the prices have been under my expectations. Wow, great job everyone. Thank you.

Was referred by a friend. I had a nail in my tire and needed a tire rotation and oil change. Was in and out within 45 minutes. No one trying to up sale you on tires, oil filters, or any off the other usual BS. I recommend you give them a try!

Arrived with an exhaust problem. Car has 180k+ miles, I did not want to spend $1k on a repair. Suggested fix cost $400+, I agreed, and added an oil change. Car was not ready in the afternoon. I had to pay, and return for the car later. I got a message that a different problem was noticed, as well as what was fixed. I picked up the car after hours. I returned to find the different problem was a large crack in the exhaust manifold, rendering the car useless as a daily driver. No solution was proposed. An apology was offered. I feel that the shop got me to spend as much as I was willing to spend, even though it wouldnt fix my problem. I feel cheated out of the $500 bill.Update:After posting this review, I was contacted by Monica, the manager. We went through the same discussion. No progress was made. I wanted either a refund, or the car to be fixed at no additional cost. They explained that they couldnt have known about the problem, and that $1500 to fix the new problem was a discount from the $1800 they would normally charge to replace the exhaust manifold.A couple weeks after that, Monica called. Fernando, the owner, wanted her to contact me to find out if I was willing to bring my car back, and I would be happy with a refund or fixing the problem. I agreed to let them look at the car, assuming Id be offered a full refund, or the problem would be fixed at no additional charge.Fernando was great. He was professional, courteous, apologetic and did everything he could to make me happy. The picked up my car from my work parking lot (a couple miles away). They welded the exhaust manifold (unsure how much that option would normally cost), which should be good enough to hold until something else major fails.He noticed a problem with my turn signals, and replaced bulbs (at no cost, without being asked). The car was returned to the parking lot at work, and I called him back after taking a short drive.I regret that a mistake in communication caused so much drama, but at this time, Im happy to be driving my car again. There is no new exhaust smell (Im still deodorizing the old exhaust smell out of the car and other items from the car), its quieter and the turn signals function properly.Yes, I would consider using them again.

I had an appointment yesterday at 5 and was 10 minutes late because of traffic. Mind you the place closes at 6. I come in and the guy gives me a smug look and says were closed. Closed at 510 pm?? A simple Oil change would have taken a few minutes. Never going there again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I was recommended to Meineke by a lifetime friend. If he says theyre good, theyre good. I was not disappointed. Communication was stellar; staff called me to update me on progress and other issues found. Quoted price did not change once we determined what needed to be fixed. The only surprise was two free cam sockets that needed to be replaced as well. Im not kidding, I swear my camaro runs better than the day I bought it.

New owner ran this place into the ground. Ive been coming here for about 14 years and now I cant even trust them with a simple thing like an oil change. The cap of my engine was off when I did bring it in for an oil change and it spilt everywhere. Never coming here again.

This place understands service. I was visiting from out of town and had just notice a clicking noise under my tire. I pull over, see a screw, and take it there since I was right by it. The guy at the counter was super polite and got my car in right away. He came back and said it was at a safe spot to plug the tire and gave me the cost. After raising the vehicle and removing the screw they realized it was just wedged in the treads and had not made its way into the tire. They sent me on my way with no costs associated. In the couple weeks that have gone by I had gone to jersey city and harrisburg pa 3 times with the vehicle and 0 issues so far. I’m very thankful for those guys and how up front they were with me.

This place is fantastic! Repairs were done for $600 less than what a muffler shop up the road had quoted us AND we were able to arrange the repairs from 10 hours away in Michigan!! Usually one to support the smaller, local businesses but when it comes to auto mechanic repairs in unknown locations, its best to visit a franchise. I would take my vehicle to any Meineke after this past experience. Thank you!

Awful customer service. I made an appointment a week in advance online and when I got there I was told I didn’t have an appointment and that the guy was new and he didn’t know how to do that. Told me I’d have to wait about a hour and a half before they even looked at my car. I’ve gone here several times all appointments made online. Very disappointed. Ended up walking out and not having the work done. I will NOT be returning to this facility.

My S2000 was making wheel noise and I thought it was a bearing. Took it in for service and turned out it was just something rubbing. its hard to find such an honest mechanic these days so cant say enough good things about this shop. their prices are very reasonable as well.7/2/2019 - Update: I woke to a flat tire on my 2013 Honda fit this morning. I stopped by on way to work to see if they could squeeze me in. The manager was very friendly and was able to have someone take a look even though the shop was busy. I was out and back on the road in 30 min with a repaired tire. Saved my morning. Highly recommend.

Bad customer service! We have been getting our car serviced here since January on time with all the oil changes and now my 2017 vehicle with 58k has an oil leak from a hairline oil pan crack that no one else has touched but meineke and it happened right after our oil change! Now my vehicle needs a new motor and no one is responsible! Never going back here again as also fluids were never topped off as they state they do with every oil change my coolant level was under the minimum level and they just left it that way without even saying a word! Whoever goes here make sure they top off your fluids! Also make sure you skid plates are put back on your vehicles!

Meineke EB checked and repaired my 1998 Toyota Camry for check engine light. Initial estimate was $500 and repaired in about an hour. It was warranted for one year, but the check engine light reappeared within first 15 miles of driving. On further diagnosis, they discovered new error codes and gave me an additional estimate along with an offer which came to $190 after 50% discount. The reason, I was told, was that they depend on a computer/device and the new codes on 2nd diagnosis were not present at first one. It was not a pleasant experience. However, I felt sincerity and helpful attitude in manager Joes dealing. Paid the additional amount with an agreement that they would repair, if required, at no more cost to me during the warranted 1 year.The car is repaired now and passed NJ Inspection. The diagnosis, repair and followup were done promptly and I believe that the total charge of $692 was reasonable, hence I give it a 5 star review. I also believe that Meineke would honor its one year agreement, should the check engine light reappear (before August 2017).

Manager has the worst attitude for no reason. Complained about everyone for coming in cause he couldn’t eat in peace. 0 customer service skills. On top of that oil change took over a half hour just a bad experience won’t be going back.

I never used Meineke before this year. I went to the same mechanic for the past 18 years. I started going to meineke earlier this year and they have been awesome each time. The manager Lee is extremely knowledgable and has made my experience relaxing. Very competitive regarding prices (I have compared prices all three times).This Meineke is now my primary mechanic.

This place is a scam. They use inferior parts to offer you a great deal. 11 months ago I spent $1500 getting brake pads, rotors and stuts replaced. My front brakes are now shot and Dodge Dealer tells me the rotors are shot as well. I asked if they could call Meineke and they offered the warranty to replace the parts but I would pay labor. This is a scam to get me back in replace the parts with more garbage, and up sell me on other issues. Do not waste your money on a cheaper option like this. Use a reputable car dealer when getting work done. I made the mistake do not do the same.

Took my car back on November for a simple welding job of a muffler they charge me 222.00...Today the muffler fell off ,went back to the shop, they want to charge another 222.00 ...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! RiP OFF....I took it to another place down the block got charge for a pipe installation and welding ,,100 dollars..

Always a great experience when you know the staff and they help you as much as they can.

I try to bring my car in for a simple knock sensor change that i gave them brand new. I ended up pay over 250. And i thought the labor rate was 80 dollers an hour as it said on the screen when i come into customer lobby. And not even 24 hours of driving i still have the problem. When i came in the next day and one of the guys told me they charge 114 per labor hour . i felt very cheated on the price and i still have the issue with my new sensor. I didnt mean too pay for a lack of work and missed leading labor hour.
