My wife and I drive almost 2 hours to shop at this particular branch even though we have hundreds of other jewelry stores to choose from. The genuine warmth and personal assistance we receive from Amber Witzke keeps us coming back. There is nothing fake about this young lady. Every member of the store staff is great, but she is our favorite. She not only took the time to learn our names, but she has recognized the type of jewelry we like. She remembers what my wife really liked on our previous visits. My wife is a very special lady to me. What she wants, she gets. Maybe not today, but sometime in the very near future. My wife is not spoiled, she is well loved! Amber remembers what my wife likes and reminds me when I go shopping for her. Amber lights up like a Christmas tree when she sees us walk through the door. I have made numerous purchases in the past three years and I love the quality of everything I have purchased. If something happens to your jewelry, they will not only fix it or replace it, they will expedite the repairs. We love this place!

They RUINED my proposal!! Im not living in the area but I was visiting my family when we decided to get a ring for my girlfriend. The proposal was SUPPOSED to be in May but they royally messed that up. The manager Mike, told me that I wouldnt have to worry and that they would hold off on mailing the billing statements. I had to provide my address for credit purposes, I told the bank, I told Mike but it was all for nothing. They mailed the billing statement as soon as they possibly could and my girlfriend found it. She texted me and let me know about the letter and I had to mitigate the disaster as best I could. I asked her to toss it but she said shed leave it on my desk for my return. When I made it home, I didnt find it on my desk, but in the trash, shredded up. She now knows about my plan on proposal and that will NEVER CHANGE. Ill never get a chance to do this again and Jared is 100% at fault! To another point; they dont know how to read directions or communicate. I was on a very tight schedule and needed a stone replaced with a better one from another ring. When I went to go pick it up, they set it in the wrong ring. Ill never ever be shopping at Jared and anything they try to do will not fix the fact that well never have a special engagement story.

My husband and I had the most amazing buying experience, excellent customer service, and more like made new friends with Terry and Amber!!! They are literally the “cream of the crop” at this location. Their professionalism, their attention to detail, and their knowledge goes unmatched. I have shopped at several different Jared’s in different cities and states for nearly 10 years, and has never had service on this level. Traveling 2 1/2 hours to Durham was well worth the time! I worked with Terry (Tarun) at Jared a few days ago. I came into the store knowing what I wanted but without any intentions of buying. Terry is very knowledgable about jewelry. Also, very personable. He offered me a great chain that wasnt just great, but a great fit for me. Terry also offered me a store credit card with 0% down payment for 12 months. Furthermore, he offered to answer any questions I may have after the sale is made.

We went to learn about engagement rings and Mike was so knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He answered all of our questions, gave us a ton of information we didn’t know and took time to make sure we knew everything we needed to! He was great!

I showed up to this store and didn’t realize I needed an appointment. They were so understanding and managed to let me come in anyway. I had looked around at a few other stores in the hopes of getting an idea engagement rings. No one had a set up like this place. They let you pick the settings and then the size of the stone that you are interested in. I was able to mix and match rather than looking at the average selection of rings. I worked with Amber and Terry and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They were funny and made me feel very comfortable. They explained all of my options and I ended up finding THE ONE that day. Amazing company with a unique take on engagement rings. Absolutely loved who I worked with and will definitely be returning in the future.

Have postponed my engagement plans for weeks waiting for this store to open.After weeks of waiting, finally, the website says open.What a disappointment to arrive at the store and it clearly is not open. Sign outside says to call a number for an appointment but no one answered.Thanks for the buzzkill. Ill take my buisness elsewhere.

Amber did a terrific job helping me replace my stolen jewelry. She was caring and concerned. My replacement rings are more beautiful than those I lost which I never imagined possible. Jared’s at Southpoint are our jewelers for life.

My husband takes me and just lets me pick out what I want ... no occasion. So today we drive all the way there to only find out you need an appointment. They could not accommodate that until late this afternoon. I do fully understand with covid having safe guards in play but come on people.... by now your game plan to serve customers should be better then this. Way to many options to shop elsewhere, so thats what we did.

Have purchased jewelry a few times over the years at their Southpoint location, one of which was an engagement ring. When the diamond fell out and was lost, they replaced it with a larger diamond of the same quality. Pricing is reasonable and their service has always impressed me. Highly recommend this store!

Disappointed with the attitude I received in the phone. Due for my cleaning & went to the store. Learned they were by appointment only, which was frustrating as I had driven there already. Cleanings take less than 5 minutes and Betty refused to accommodate me. I understand “Covid precautions” but I think it’s silly t turn away customers while employees are free in between appointments. I saw them inside the door standing around “waiting” for their appointments to show up. Annoying and overall unnecessary.

The absolute worst. Made a return and 2 months later still havent received my money back. Please dont waste your time go to Kay or other companies before this one.

The sales rep Terry is awesome at this location. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and made me feel like family. Terry never rushed me and made absolute sure before finalizing my purchase I was 100% happy with what I purchased.

Jareds at Southpoint has a sign on their door indicating appointments are required, however, the website says theyre open. I learned this when I arrived there to drop off my necklace for a repair. At that time, I was told (through a door intercom) that the next available time to drop off my necklace was 2 weeks from today. In addition, if I wanted to shop, I would need another appointment to do that. If the shop is operating by appointment only, then update the website. Horrible experience not even letting me drop off my necklace after I drove there and telling me to come back when its convenient for them. Thats how you lose customers.

I went to Jareds today and got a ring for my wife. They have a great staff. Amber Witzke helped me and was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be going back in the future. Employees help keep customers.

If you want to get a TAGHeuer watch battery replaced , do NOT go to Jared in Durham. They will tell you it’s a pressure sealed back, they need to send away and you won’t get you watch back for 6WEEKS! Very poor customer service to say the least.Instead, go to Evans Jewelry in Chapel Hill where they will replace your battery for $15 and do it while you wait.

Its a chain jewelry store, so you will be fine if your expectations arent very high. They have been able to change watch batteries without permanently damaging my watch, unlike the Cary location.

Not a fan of the customer service at this location. Other locations are very personable and warm and get to know you. This place no one even introduced themselves to me. Also the woman who helped me wore my expensive ring around the store and never once used a counter pad. I dont think thats part of the elegant image Jared is supposed to emulate.Also, when I brought my ring in, the associate told me the gemstone was not loose when I can actually see it rocking back and forth with my bare eyes. No scope needed. Well, I just got it back from the repair shop, and its still loose. Haha, wow

This place is absolutely fantastic. I did not purchase my diamond here but they resize it for me same day very inexpensively and with a great attitude. They even have a place for kids to play with a jungle gym while you look at your jewelry. I may not have purchased my current reindeer but I will almost certainly be back for my next!

Buyer beware of their financing policies. They will tell you anything to get the sale. I was told I would be 0% interest as long as I made my 12 months of payment on an automatic draft on time. What they didnt tell me is the last month the payment is needed 4 days before the day its scheduled to be drafted, or else I will be charged 450 dollars in interest and it was written on my last couple of statements. The email statements dont say this and you need to log in and see specifically on your statement on comenitys website that it is warning you to make your final payment 4 days before it is actually due. I called to explain that the store manager who was trying to sell me the payment plan did not warn of this, and the lady on the phone of the financing bank actually laughed at me. LAUGHED. Lesson learned and I got burned, but Jared needs to actually inform their customers. I had planned to get our wedding bands here (already picked them up and was coming in a couple of weeks to purchase) but I am going to have to pay this 450 dollar interest to save my credit and I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

The red haired lady destroyed my fiancees engagement ring when she got it stuck in a double ring wedding band. The band left multiple grooves in the engagment ring. Unacceptable for a professional jeweler.

Some of the associate seem like they are too busy to help. My wife asked about getting her ring cleaned which I bought there with a lifetime warranty. The associate had it cleaned but out of obligation and with an attitude. I wont be coming back to this Jared. Will travel extra to go to the Raleigh location.

Worked with Sandy Hassig while my now fiance and I were shopping for an engagement ring. Sandy listened to my budget and showed us rings that fit that budget. When I decided to purchase the ring she even met me at my place of work to complete the transaction, now that is customer service! I highly recommend Jared at Southpoint and in particular Sandy!
