They were really rude about not having a mask. I guess they dont like money then. Good luck paying the bills. Only 2 other stores said anything and they were little rinky dink stores too. Meanwhile the places that want to stay in business were cool about it.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We were looking for a homecoming dress for our daughter and stumbled across this store in the mall. They do have alot of different styles & colors to choose from but you are only aloud to try on 2 per day (kind of weird but ok). After finding 2 that she liked we went to the fitting area and an employee named Monica helped us. First she paced back and forth in front of the fitting rooms and even opened the door to my daughters room while she was changing. After my daughter selected the dress she wanted my husband noticed a blemish on the dress ( extra tulle and some of the sequence broken). Him myself and our daughters bio-mom were discussing our thoughts on the dress. Monica decided to interrupt and say that if we dont want it we dont have to buy it. My husband told her that the 3 people who would be paying for the dress needed to discuss it and she grabbed the dress from my hands and said that we were not allowed to buy the dress anymore. Shocked i tried to get the dress back and asked her why we couldnt buy it. She said that until my husband apologized to her then it was no longer for sale to us. I was able to finally get the dress (thank goodness because my daughter was close to tears)but this morning as Im writing this thinking I cant believe how unprofessional and rude it was for her to get into our discussion and then be mad and petty because we were having a private discussion. Unfortunately for me the store has a no return policy because honestly after thinking about this all night I really just want to take it back.

Found a beautiful dress out of a fantastic selection! The staff was extremely helpful, respectful, and courteous. Definitely reccomend.

Awful experience. aside from the terrible experience with the workers, their biggest size is the equivalent to a medium maybe a large and it’s labeled as a 3X. i do not recommend shopping here if you are plus sized. the dresses are really cute, and i absolutely fell in love with one of the dresses, but there no reason for a 16 year old, who wears a large to extra large in everything else, to have to wear a 3X and have it still not fit.

Absolutely atrocious service, my sister was in tears. Weve been struggling to get a dress for her homecoming all month and this was the only store we could find. They wouldnt help us with sizes and we could only try on three dresses and wouldnt get us another size.My sister is devastated, and we dont think we can get a dress in time.Dont ever go here

DONT SHOP HERE MAJOR BODY SHAMMING!!!When looking at their pageant gowns I was told “only XS and SMALL” (keep in mind I’m a size 8/10) I was trying to ask if they had any other rompers with an over skirt and she kept telling me “only one, only small and extra small. That’s pageant it’s only extra small and small”Considering I am a pageant girl and have held 2 national titles I asked “ You only carry size extra small and small for pageant?”She said yes because they only sell to under 18 (which half of their dresses would be super inappropriate for under 18 for a pageant) Then i pointed out a size 8 and 10 in that section and she responds that it’s in the wrong spot and it supposed to be prom?I tried on a dress that was strapless so it’s supposed to fit tighter. She told me that it wasn’t going to fit and argued with me. Then she wouldn’t even try the zipper. After struggling with my arms behind my back to get it zipped I finally did! But that experience made me want to cry…..

Completely outrage with how store is treating teenagers. My daughter and her friend went to look for prom dresses. It was the biggest mistake they made going into that store. Not only was the older Asian saleswoman harassed my daughter and only allowed her to take 2 dresses but she was standing outside the fitting room the whole time. My daughter said it looked like she was trying to peek through changing room. This is with the minor trying on the dress. Not only that - my daughter was talked down about the size of dress she picked. I have tried to call the store and got the same woman on the phone. She wont allow me speak to the manager or the owner. She refused to provide name of the owner. I was able to get in touch with the mall management team and obviously the message that they passed to the owner - they do not care. Please be careful allowing teenagers in this store by themselves.

Absolutely terrible experience! I go there looking for a homecoming dress and when I find one I like I asked to try it on. After getting in the dressing room the saleswoman opens the door wide open while I’m in the middle of changing and walks in! I was embarrassed in front of the whole store and didn’t even finish trying on the dress before I walked out. I was mortified, please do not shop here!

Very rude service. Explained to the lady my daughters homecoming was canceled because of covid but we still wanted to try on dresses. She didn’t even show any sympathy to my daughter with the situation and said we can’t try on dresses unless we plan on purchasing a dress. We walked out and found a beautiful dress somewhere else for her back up dinner plans. Never would I recommend this place to anyone if this is how they treat their customers.

Gorgeous dresses. Spacious dressing room. They give you 5 or 10% off your purchase if you give them five stars. I didnt think they were very professional: the older woman was very rough when she was fixing the dress on me and the younger woman was inappropriate in her conversation with me but Im happy with my dress! I would buy from them again.

My daughter surprised me last week with the idea of attending a friends Homecoming to be held on 10/1, less than two weeks before the event. We searched every place in town and had no luck finding a dress she liked. We went to Dress and Party at Tuttle and found the perfect dress, but wrong color. I was able to order the dress online on 09/23 in her color, but there was concern that it would make it on time. The manager, William, was great! He tracked our dress and assured me the dress would be at the store in time. He called today and the dress will be in tomorrow 9/28, four days before the dance! There are dresses at D&P for every budget & size and they are beautiful! We were even able to get her jewelry, shoes and a matching clutch. I have a wedding coming up and we will definitely be returning for our bridesmaids dresses. - Thank you so much D&P.

My 18 year old daughter came into the store to try on a few dresses for her senior prom. She was followed through the store as if she was going to steal something. She picked out a dress to try on and the employee asked her what size it was.... she replied that she had a large, the lady said you need to go up a couple sizes. That was just the beginning..... she went into the dressing room while my daughter was in her bra and panties and started jerking the dress off of my daughter. I am beside myself.... All I can say is she is very lucky that I was not there with her. I feel this lady needs to catch a charge for her actions. God knows I would of if I had been there. This behavior is unacceptable, I don’t know who to call to report this. But something needs to be done.

The woman who was helping us was nice and very helpful. There is a very large selection of dresses packed inside this store. She has some rules, no food or drink, no more than 9 try ons in a day if u break it u buy it, an a few more. I didnt mind, I overheard another patron complain. Overall I enjoyed the time and the experience with my daughter as she tried a few dresses on for her prom. Everybodys budget is different. The first place my daughter went was with a friend and the first dress she tried on was $900.00. 😂 The first place I took her was the thrift, she tried nothing on. Next was Macys. I liked them! We went downstairs to Dress & Party. We found some good contenders in this store as well. Things I was willing to pay for with in my budget and things I would not, though pretty to look at. All that said, staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If dress was bought there they do provide alterations. I dont know what your eyes see, but if her eyes see that you look beautiful she will tell you! (I am referring to the woman who helped us)

William is always on point and on time! Love this place so much!

The ladies there are very rude. I have no idea how this place stays open. We found a dress we liked but needed a size 8 instead of a 6. She would not get us a bigger size. I couldn’t understand what she was saying. When I asked her again if they had a size 8 she took the other dress put it back and never brought us another dress. So we left. I would of bought the $500.00 dress if they would of brought us the size 8. Do not waist your time going there.

This store has a nice selection of dresses but the staff treat you like your a criminal trying to steal something. A lady yelled at my elderly mother to stop touching a dress. The associate (a slightly older woman) was so disgustingly rude. There are no dresses in your size. We dont have dresses for that price. Well... thats funny, because we were staring at dresses in our size and price range. If youre not going to sell to people my size, why do you carry my size? I had money to spend... I came here for a dress, and I left without one BECAUSE of your associate.Im VERY disturbed to read that this is a common occurence, and that the issue hasnt been addressed... Selling three $200 dresses is just as good as one $600 dress. Im not sure how youre still in business with such terrible customer rapport.

My daughter and I went in store today looking for a dress for her sweet 16 party. She found a dress she liked and we asked the sales associate (an older Asian lady) to see if they had the dress in her size. Before she even proceeded to get the dress, she asked who the dress was for. Once I stated my daughter she says they not fit her they leftover homecoming dresses I had just read a review today where someone else experiencedoing the same thing. The customer serve is horrible. I wont ever shop at this store nor would I recommend that anyone else shops there.

Although this place has a beautiful selection and variety of dresses, this service there was very derogatory. I was in search of a dress To attend a wedding and I was the only customer in the store. Initially I was approached by the woman who works there and asked me if I needed assistance which was great!. Shortly after, the entire time I browsed around she followed behind me like the police. She would stand and stare at me everywhere I went. I even sat down to relax for a second and she went to the back to see what I was doing. I felt like I was a criminal while browsing and extremely uncomfortable. I will never return to shop here again.

I have been to the store twice and the staff was EXTREMELY rude. The first time my 3 yeard old cousin had small toys and the lady immediately fussed and said we could not have her in the store. We tried again because they have nice dresses and the second time the lady would not let us touch anything and said we could not try on the dresses. We continued to shop and she kept following us throughtout the store. We asked if we could see a size 4 in girls and just said they did not carry that size. We left but as we walked out she was yelling at a teenage girl for coming to show her mom the dress she had on. I WILL NEVER WALK IN TO THAT STORE AGAIN NOR WILL I EVER GIVE HER BUSINESS!

Ok so earlier today 4-12-2019 my daughter and I was walking in this store we walked in and as I see a dress on the wall that I really liked. (Mind you I’m looking for a wedding dress.) I walked up a little closer my daughter behind me trips over a metal rack and knocks down something if anyone has been in here it’s WAY too packed! You CANT move around at all. So this lady popped out of nowhere yelling screaming at me and my child saying we was running and “playing in the dresses “ VERY VERY RUDELY ( as all this was happening a rack of dresses was falling not from me or my daughter falling in my direction) kinda like she was pushing it to make it fall on me!! After so much of her screaming and saying things to me and my daughter I replied back saying we did nothing wrong , nobody was running. And she might want to chill out on the things she was saying. we was actually stand in the same exact spot where the dress was on the wall. She dropped a manikin on the floor said this is probably broke we need to call security. That’s when I spoke up getting very loud back at her saying I just watched you drop the manikin on the ground and she might want to lower her voice because nobody was doing anything! I will be making a complaint to Tuttle mall also calling them tomorrow! Please beware of this lady ( not the owner) the owner was very nice! And apologetic. The lady who was rude asked us to leave I said a few words to her and walked out! Im really bothered how we were treated by her! So badly that I will be calling the mall tomorrow morning. I don’t want anything from it just so the owner knows that people don’t need to be treated like that and her store is so pack it’s unsafe! Lucky my daughter wasn’t hurt. But the way that lady was acting it could of got physical very fast! I wouldn’t buy anything from this company something isn’t right in there! Shop safe lady’s!

The lady working here was rude and make me & my friends EXTREMELY uncomfortable. We wanted to try on some dresses but decided not to. We were looking at the shoes and the lady stomped up to us and stood right next to us in complete silence as if we were stealing and proceeded to follow us silently around the store staring us down without saying a word.

I have a military ball to attend and was so excited to buy a dress. I thought this store would be perfect but when I went in I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman when they looked her up and down and said they had nothing for her. I wear a size 8 dress and have a larger than normal derriere. The asian sales clerk working kept looking me up and down and asked the dress is for you? Then continued to explain that they carry dresses for younger girls. I am 31 today. Terrible to get treated this way on my birthday btw. I thought I would still look around as the dresses were nice. She followed me around as I looked at dresses and told me why I should not consider certain ones because she said they would not work for me. I did not ask her opinion. Then I tried one on. She comes back and asks me to see it and continues to tell me that it does not suit me. It has some loose stitching under the zipper which my mother pointed out before I tried it on. The dress was TOO BIG but the sales clerk blamed me for ripping the dress because I was too fat and told me I could not try on anymore dresses!!!! I will shop elsewhere.

Would not allow my daughter to try on a 4th and final dress because limit is 3, then you have to get back in line? If 2 of the 3 dresses weren’t falling apart, then maybe wouldn’t have needed a 4th dress. So we walked out after the CRAZY mean owner literally opened the door while she was half dressed and yanked the dresses out. Probably why store had to move much smaller space off main corridor in Tuttle. Good news we have deferred 50 plus friends from dealing with this incredibly tacky, lunatic with poor quality dresses. Go to Henri’s or Twirl. Both have fantastic dresses with large beautiful dressing rooms, and personal assistants that allow you to try on, however many you want, without having to go to end of line. Imagine that?

Me and my friends went to D&P with the intentions of trying on the dresses and the women there were extremely rude. The older asian woman was most definitely the worst of the few there. She followed us around the store as if we did something wrong and when I asked to try on a dress, she questioned the size I picked out and debated whether it was too small and told me I needed to go way bigger. Then when I tried the dress on, first of all she didnt put me in the open dressing room but a closet. I seriously changed in a closet. Then she told me to hurry up and yelled at me to open the door when I wasnt dressed and to not put the dress back on the hanger or in the bag because I would supposedly do it wrong. The whole experience was horrible. The customer service, the dress quality, the atmosphere, all of it was not worth the hassle. I do not reccomend this store at all.

Horrible! Women were very rude! I mistakenly took my great granddaughter in with food. I apologized but they were aweful to us and made her cry. I did not see the small sign in the window.

Dress & Party is shockingly disappointing! At first glance their website and store look interesting. When I arrived at the store however it was a mess and disorganized and I could not find anything as everything was so jam packed and unorganized to the point where things were damaged beyond repair. The jewelry looked like the jewelry at you would find in a costume store in those cheap plastic bags. The dressing rooms looked like a knock off hollister atmosphere and it was very unimpressive. Then when I finally found something I thought I could try on the staff would not even consider looking for it in a smaller size for me. D&P is not at all what they lead their customers to believe and I will not be returning or suggesting this store to anyone.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Went in here with my cousin to look at dresses for her engagement and the lady/owner was so rude/disrespectful. As soon as we walked in she just started us down, and then we barley touched the dress and she basically yelled at us and told us not to touch the dresses. That’s not a way to treat your customers. If I could give this store 0 stars I would.

I went in there Saturday for a prom dress I wear a 14 I had three dresses picked out that were in my size and had bigger sizes just in case and when I asked if they had a fitting room to try them on the woman proceeded to ask me my size then say they only go to size 12 but I saw quite a few dresses that were either 18 or a 3xl. I am so disgusted with the service. I didnt asked to be sized I asked for a fitting room to try on the size 14 you said you didnt have. Glad you guys like losing money.
