After years of being a Ford & Honda family and 40 years of visiting only two dealerships for vehicle purchases and service, we ventured out of our comfort zone and looked at Volvo. After weeks of lot shopping and internet research, we decided to start with our hometown dealer, MAG Volvo. When we arrived, we were greeted by Justin Snowden who answered every question and took care of our every need. Although we were expecting to purchase new, we were shown a 2019 Volvo Certified that was in perfect condition and low miles. It was competitively priced, meeting the market research we had conducted for cars that were not factory certified.The purchase experience was second to none. Everything was handled promptly and with wonderful customer service. There were no surprises nor did they attempt to needlessly upsell us on other add-ons. Rick in the finance department was great to work with as well. Just a kind, straightforward guy who made the experience pleasant.Carlos oversaw the entire transaction and provided wonderful customer service as well. Nothing but Shenanigans with loyalty cash and the whole dance of the offer. The salesman who I never met but the sales manager always passes off the sales to the unprofessional sales persons at MAG. My sales guy sat and chomped on his gum the whole time.My vehicle was delivered dirty and without a full tank of gas which is usually customary.I was taken advantage of because of the situation I was In needing a vehicle. This is my 5th Volvo and my last. The cars are great the dealers in this area aren’t.

Im no stranger to the car buying process, owning dozens of vehicles over my driving career. I have interacted with great dealership personnel, and not so great dealership personnel. After selling my Audi and Range Rover I was on the hunt for the next best thing. I saw the Volvo XC40 about a year ago in one of my car magazines and it caught my eye, so I knew I had to put it on my short list.After spending a day test driving the Mercedes GLC, Infinity QX50, Jaguar E-Pace and finally the Volvo XC40, I knew the Volvo was my pick! The only issue I was running into was the Volvo dealerships in my area did not have great selection of the XC40. I specifically wanted the XC40 R-Design in Crystal White Metallic paint. But not only did I want this paint combination, I wanted all the packaged options including the 21 inch rims. This was a true needle in the haystack situation.After exhausting all searches, I found almost the exact match at MAG Volvo. In their stock they had just the XC40 I was searching for except for just one caveat, it had the 20 in rim option, instead of the 21 in rim option. MAG Volvo was not in my area, as they were 1 hour and 45 minutes from my home, but I am no stranger to traveling near and far for the vehicle I want.The following Saturday I decided to make the drive to MAG. Upon my arrival I started searching for the XC40 that had brought me here. I found it immediately and made my way to the XC40 quickly. Once I spent a few minutes looking it over I made my way to the Volvo showroom. After looking for a short time at the Volvos beautifully displayed in the showroom I was greeted by Steven Fodor, Volvo Sales Associate. When he asked how he could help me I asked for Carlos Dague, Volvo Sales Manager.Carlos Dague is the gentleman I was originally put in contact with when I made a phone call to MAG Volvo. Carlos remembered me from our phone conversation and immediately started to go to work on all the details we had discussed over the phone. While Carlos was crunching numbers, Steven invited me out for a test drive. Steven gave a great demonstration of the mounds of tech that lies within Volvo vehicles. He also answered my mounds of questions that I had for him. Questions from important details about the vehicle to Hey, will the infotainment system show me album art on the screens?. Steven was able to connect all the dots for me.During most of my past test drives, the sales associate would always take me on short routes that did not include freeway travel. Steven made sure that we went through all driving situations--city driving, side road driving, freeway driving. I was able to get a good grasp of how the XC40 performed in all varieties of driving situations. It was nice that I did not have to request all these different routes, they were all suggested by Steven.Once we returned back to the dealership post test drive, Steven continued to demo other features that matter in day-to-day life. He demonstrated and explained the cargo management system, how the power lift gate operated etc. It made for a very enjoyable and fun experience. When we returned back to the sales office Carlos had a fantastic deal that I was very pleased with! He also gathered information regarding the 21 in rim upgrade, by gathering the part numbers and pricing. Having this information allowed me to get in-touch with the Volvo dealership in my area to have the 20 in rims swapped out for the 21 in rims.In closing, if youre considering a new or pre-owned luxury car that is a Volvo please give MAG Volvo an opportunity to earn your business. Even if you do not live near the dealership I still urge you to give them a try. It was well worth my 1 hour and 45 min drive up and back to receive exceptional service that Steven and Carlos provided me. When purchasing a luxury vehicle you expect a level of expertise and service that is above the rest, and MAG Volvo provides you with just that!

Juston was the sales consultant that I worked with. I will tell you that he was very informative and a true professional through the process. I will also tell you that Rick the finance manager was intuitive and provided quick expert counsel concerning all my finance options.

Parts department will overcharge. I called to get a price on roof rails for our new XC90. I can order same part from Volvo MAG in CT (plus shipping!) for way less. I prefer to support local even if I pay a little more... but not A LOT more.

I had an issue last year with service on my XC90, as soon as the service manager was made aware of the problem he went the extra mile to remedy it. I sincerely appreciate the effort Bob made in getting this squared away.

Started my search at MAG for a XC40. Sales person was friendly, however the manager was not. Was told info about another Brand new 2021 XC40 from Byers Volvo that I had my eye on and how it did not have a rear view camera, leather seats, power folding mirrors, etc like the one at MAG did and it ended up having all those features. Walked away from MAG after they couldn’t complete the deal and took my business to Byers Volvo where I was treated professionally and friendly. Would recommend Byers Volvo where they appraise the true value of your vehicle and do not try to underdog you!

As always Gary provides excellent service. There are never surprises and only the work that we discuss is done. Volvo makes a great vehicle and the folks at MAG Dublin service keep my 13 year old CX 70 station wagon running like new. Thank you. David

So disappointed in my experience with this dealership. I came to purchase a used vehicle on the lot and was presented unreasonably high interest rates as a woman with good credit and was talked down to both in person and via text messages by management—was even told I was “misinformed” and was lied to about vehicles still on the website listed as available with lower prices. If misogyny is your thing head on over to MAG Volvo because that’s exactly what you’ll get—A dealership full of men who talk to women as if they’ve never bought a car before. So glad I walked away from this place, but only after wasting three days arguing with a man who can’t even wear a mask appropriately.
