I never come back here and I don’t want my relatives,friends and knowing people to get their service. I took my car for one problem and I paid service cost but sad thing is may be they just turn off the signal they didn’t fix it so, problem showing just after one day what it has before and again went back and I told them problem but they simply point to other good part to get out from me so, I’m quite and back not good English speaking at all. This kind of service was because of little English language …🤔🤔

Brought vehicle in due to heavy vibration while driving. They not only didn’t fix the issue but told us we needed a new ignition switch! We told them to refund us and they flat out refused, even in speaking with the service manager. Terrible service, incompetent and unwilling to help. I’ll gladly not recommend this place. I can only give one star because there’s no option to give a negative rating.

My first & last time at this location. My experience was not good I arrived a little early for my oil change. A customer came behind me & was out the door after their appointment 45 minutes before I was told Im almost done, but that wasnt too bad I get it. The service was my main concern I noticed my car didnt get washed as I was about to pay. People trust these dealerships with their vehicles not to mention the bad rap most of them get.

Don’t go here unless you want you get robbed. I took my car with one issue, and they mentioned car system software got crashed and needs to be restored and added bunch other things and charged around $700 bucks. Just after 1 month my car started to have the same problem, I took it back and this time they are saying it’s the battery issue and it needs to be replaced and said it will charge $200. I got my battery checked with other auto dealer not just one but at two places and they both gave report saying battery is perfectly healthy. I have all the documents.So don’t go to this place unless you want to get robbed.

I have gone to Tansky for some time getting regular service. Usually it is a great experience. However, lately their service has taken a dip. Last time I went to receive an oil change, they LOST my car. It took them almost an hour to find my car to return it to me. Most recently I scheduled to buy 4 new tires. I called multiple times to get a tire quote. I continuously connected with someone who said all they could do was schedule and would leave a message with an advisor to call me. No return call. I had to go in for the scheduled appointment. When I arrived a service advisor told me that all they had was 1 tire and it was $1,220 dollars out the door. That was WITH the buy 3 tires get the 4th for 1 dollar. Then proceeded to tell me that the tire size my car (A TOYOTA THEY SELL) had an odd size, and they did not have many tires of that size in stock. YOU SELL THE CAR!! How in the world do you sell a car but say the parts the cars you have are rare and you dont carry them? Very disappointed in their service as of late. I will give them another try or two, but after that I will look for another Toyota Dealership to provide service. My advice, is go into their service department with caution.

Got me right in. Fixed my serpentine belt in acceptable amount of time while I waited. The service man I interacted with was very knowledgeable, friendly, direct, and competent. I really couldn’t ask for more.The chocolate bars were great. However a coupon for one of the nearby restaurants would have gained you an extra star. Well worth the 1 Hour drive to your dealership.I’ll be back for sure. Oh by the way, I never give five stars. In the service business there’s always room for improvement.

While I appreciate the effort and quick response, I was not impressed with their deceptive behavior. We had recently been looking at a 2011 Toyota Camry and inquired about it this morning. The salesperson claimed that it was in service and when further asked to clarify how long it would take, the salesperson could not provide an adequate time table. This would normally be acceptable, however when you claim the vehicle is in service and and later tell me that it sold in the same afternoon, you would be better off not listing the vehicle. Definitely would not recommend, thank you and have a nice day.

If you need to have service done on your vehicle, you better plan on at least an additional hour more than what they quote you. We had a recall scheduled and were quoted 4-5 hours. It took 6 hours! I got an apology from the kid at the cashiers desk, but no one else bothered to say anything to me. Poor customer service is you ask me.

Called around all the dealerships in the Columbus area, and they had the best price for an OEM alternator for my Rav4. They also had the nicest intake area for service that Ive seen as well. Unfortunately my wife and I had a very negative experience at the used car dealership. After making sure the vehicle we were interested in was available we were shown a different model when we arrived at the dealership. According to the sales rep, he was not able to located the original vehicle. Really? And, matter of fact, not only did he not make an attempt to locate the vehicle, but he also was dishonest and said that he told me BEFORE I made the trip from Dayton that the original vehicle was unavailable. That was not the case. He was not even willing to chalk it up to a misunderstanding. After trying to sell us a different model he also seemed disinterested in our interaction. He even excused himself to take a phone call leaving me midsentence. The worse part of it all was that the vehicle he did end up showing us was listed at a great price and exactly what we were looking for. However, after our interactions I was just unwilling to purchase a car at Tansky.

They will over charge you. I got charged almost twice the average market price for transmission flush and coolant flush. This is completely unethical to rip your regular customers. Well I may not be able to do anything about this rip off now. But I hope this review will be helpful for others who wants to get a service here.

My car had a few obvious dents that were repaired prior to sale and a plethora of not as obvious hail damage that I noticed after the sale. Salespeople were super great and friendly, really appreciate talking to them.Pros of this location: great selection of cars, reasonable prices compared to local competitors, nice and friendly staff. Really I enjoyed the ability to test drive cars at my leisure and try to find a fit for me.Cons were that the car I bought wasnt inspected prior to me getting the keys. I unknowingly drive off the lot with no wiper fluid, bad tire pressure, no mats, and a battery that failed when I test drove it. I asked them to inspect the car when they had to jump the battery to start it and i dont think they did.I also let financing know that I was paying for the car in full and therefore wouldnt need a credit check, but they ran a full credit check on me regardless, which I saw because my bank alerted me that my score had dropped because of an inquiry. I was told prior to them running the check that if one needed ran, that I would be given the option to decline it, which was not the case.Overall the staff was extremely nice and friendly. I would recommend shopping here for a car. However, I would also recommend being very firm in asking for an inspection on the car before you buy it and going in knowing what your price range is.As a side note: if you plan on getting a car with equipped with the entune app suite, good luck getting it to work. Its not the dealers fault at all, but the app refuses to connect to my car or even recognize its VIN, and several new car owners online have had this issue too.

I have 3 current leases with Toyota (2020 Tundra/2020 Highlander) and a previous 2017 Highlander that was traded for the 2020. I also have a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica leased from Toyota on Georgesville Rd. I’ve never had an issue with Toyota until today.My wife’s 2020 Highlander started sputtering and the engine light came on. We had to have it towed to Tansky even though it’s leased out of Toyota Direct on Morse rd but I figured it’s all the same since it’s a new vehicle.Stop by at service after I drop the wife and kids around 8am to follow up on the repair and I assumed we’d be provided a vehicle since everything should be covered.Service tells me I have to speak with sales about a replacement car and they don’t come in until 9am.I come back at 9am and salesperson tells me he’ll get me a 2021 instead...I’m confused and tell them I just need a replacement until ours is fixed...he insists he can get us a 2021 with the same terms and payment...I tell him I’m not going to spend a dime since we just got the 2020 Highlander a few months ago...it barely has 5000 miles on it...he says no problem...I reiterate that I don’t want him to waste my time only to ask for some down payment which I made clear I wasn’t gonna do...he reassures me there won’t be anything extra...I entertain him for almost an hour only to find out he’s trying to get me a new lease with a new down payment...While My wife and I are seated at his desk, a manager tells him we don’t have a vehicle in service...not sure what he was implying...I advice him to speak to “chuck” the service person who was handling our 2020 Highlander...They realize they were wrong and carry on like they didn’t just tell us we didn’t have a car at service...Anyway, now the salesperson takes us back to service for the replacement car after he realizes we’re not getting a new lease...Lady at service (Sara McCale) tells us we need to pay for a rental. I explain that it’s a brand new lease only a few months old and barely 5000 miles on it. She explains that we have to prepay and maybe Toyota will reimburse the payments once they determine the malfunctioning part is covered.At this point I’m confused and upset at the run around and unclear process we’re being put through.I ask to speak to her manager...she reluctantly goes and he eventually comes after she explains the situation to him (I can hear her around the corner. Her description of the situation was accurate)Manager Mark comes to speak with us and immediately says that they will cover the rental which was a relief.I ask him why this was even an issue and he explains that Toyota will not cover these replacement rentals and the dealership has to float the bill and that this is standard at any automaker. He also agreed that it shouldn’t be that way which is why he’s authorized the dealership to pay.After exchanging ID’s and insurance the young lady directs us to a Highlander similar to my wife’s car and we inspect the exterior and sign some paperwork and the lady goes back inWe open the doors to find the car is filthy on the inside...I was stunned that it would be turned over to a customer in this condition.I go back inside and speak to the young lady about the interior condition. She grabs a vacuum and starts cleaning the inside and we go on our way.I’m paying in excess of $1000 a month on 3 vehicles and with the exception of the manager Mark and the salesperson (for obvious reasons), felt like I was a bother to everyone I interacted with.Needless to say I won’t be back at this location for any reason. I’ll drive out of my way to avoid them and if Toyota or their dealerships truly don’t cover replacement cars without any hesitancy for brand new leased vehicles, then I’ll have to start looking for an alternate automaker when these leases are up.

Zero stars!! Do not take your car for service here! They think it is okay to charge the customer for a service that didnt fix the issue. I went to have the air conditioning on my FIVE year old Highlander checked since it was no longer working at all. They proceeded to recharge it, charged us $300 for the service and never bothered to see if it actually fixed the problem. It did not! Had to take it back for service the next day. Upon rechecking they could not determine a specific problem and claimed they would need to completely replace the compressor and the amplifier! $2,700 worth of work on a five year old car. We chose to have a second opinion and discovered that only the compressor needed to be fixed cutting the dollar amount in half. We chose repairs to be done elsewhere since we did not trust their abilities to properly diagnose/ repair. And they now refuse to credit the $300 for a repair that didnt fix the problem!! Poor business ethics!!

Took in my new vehicle for its first oil change after purchase. Was quoted a price of $58.16 plus tax on 5/3/21. When my vehicle was done I ask the rep who called me if I could use the $8 coupon they have online when booking an oil change and they said sure we will get that added for you. When I goto pick up the car expecting the bill to be approx $54, was told my total was over $66. When I ask if the discount had been applied the cashier showed me on my bill that it had but the total was still $58. When I ask why it was now higher than I was quoted her response was oh yeah sorry we just raised our rates for oil. I said okay doesnt seem fair to quote a price and not honor it and she apologized and said she would update the pricing on my account going forward. I let it slide but then walking out I noticed I was also charged $4 for my windshield wiper fluid being topped off which I didnt not ask for nor give permission for said service. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be taking my vehicle back due to this! Unacceptable and Im sure this happens to many clients at this location. Shame on you!

I took my 2020 Sienna in for a rumbling noise in my front end. The car is still under warranty. They said I needed a new set of tires and a front end alignment. I got charged $108 for an alignment. The noise is still there and I need to leave on a cross country trip. I was really excited about buying my first Toyota but my enthusiasm is waning. I was hoping to buy another Toyota in about 18 months however if this problem does not get solved Toyota will lose me as a customer. Additionally, I will use all available resources to urge other disabled veterans to be wary of Toyota and consider other brands.

After being referred to this dealership I contacted a sales rep on a used Highlander. The sales rep Billy was very disrespectful from the start and when we arrived to the dealership we ended up leaving after 15 minutes because of how rude he was. After leaving my husband and I received a call from Lisa who was beyond helpful and pleasant. Lisa set us up with Tanya who truly had the personality of a saint. We were so impressed with both of their customer service and kindness we returned the next day and purchased the Highlander. I hope any future customers seek help from these two ladies!

Unfortunately, the customer service at this location is horrendous. I had corporate involved with a recall, and this location gave me an extremely difficult time about the situation, abd when I picked my car up, it was not running the same as when I dropped it off. When I inquired about the new problem, which was with the brakes, I was told it would be fine. If I could give zero stars, that would be a more appropriate rating than the 1 star.

Ive been a Tansky customer for a little over six years and will never return for another vehicle again. Please never lease or purchase a vehicle from this location and avoid trading your car in here at all costs. See below for my reasoning.I paid off a lease a few months in advance but then received an email back in October about the dealership buying out leases and used vehicles, so I checked out their selection and decided to move forward with a lease toward a new RAV4. I called Toyota Financial Services and requested a refund for my overpayment and they obliged, letting me know that it would take a few weeks to reach me via check in the mail but it was in process. I moved forward with the RAV4 and that was that.A month later I still hadnt received the check, I called Toyota Financial and they let me know that the dealership didnt pay the full amount of the lease and they kept my money to make up the difference. They then explained that the dealership would have to refund my money because of the shortcoming/end of lease terms.I called the dealership, explained my situation, and was told a manager would reach out to me in a few days. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing. I repeated this process three times and still hadnt heard anything, so I got a corporate customer service resolution specialist to forward my issue to one of their corporate team members within the dealership who then reached out to me.After explaining the situation again, she said shed need to review the lease agreements and would contact me again. After a day or so she reached out and couldnt determine where my overpayment had been made, then got the sales manager, Steve King, to speak with me about it. He was immediately defensive and accusatory saying that they didnt owe me anything, etc. etc. I explained that there was absolutely an amount owed to me, I paid for 36 months and turned it back in for a new lease after 34 and that I cant be charged for something that I didnt even have in my possession. His first reaction was literally Why would you pay ahead?. He then went on to say the refund would have to come from Toyota Financial since they provided the payoff quote. I asked if hed call them with me and he refused saying he would only speak to the same representatives I would. Clearly it was going nowhere, so I said Id call them again and did.After they told me the same thing, I took things to the Attorney General for mediation since neither party was helping me. Once the mediation began, the story changed to Weve tried explaining equity to this customer multiple times and that they dont owe me any money, etc. I explained the math, showed them where to find the information I used on their own documents, and then never received a response and they let the mediation fail. I called Toyota Headquarters to escalate the issue and they said they cant do anything other than log a complaint against the dealership.Its been seven months now and Ive still not received a dime. This dealership, and Toyota as a whole, is an awful company with no moral integrity and are completely untrustworthy. I legitimately loathe this company and dealership and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Please do not purchase a vehicle with Toyota as they clearly cannot be trusted in the slightest to correct any errors on their end.Addendum 06/07/21: Working with a customer would be helping to solve the issue at hand, not saying Oh, well its their fault actually, good luck!. Thank you for telling me repeatedly that its my problem, no one has offered any sort of solution so do not pretend that anyone on your team has taken any sort of initiative to help resolve the issue. None of you could care less since you already have your money. Also, there was no issue with manufacturing whatsoever, the issue has to do with my money being held due to a dispute between you and Toyota Financial Services that neither of your can communicate to each other about.

3rd time here for service. The first time was for Toyota Care which was just a tire rotation. Cannot really mess that up. No issues that I can remember from that appointment. However, the 2nd time I came in with a tire that was low/leaking. They told me 45 minutes to an hour for wait. 3 hours and 25 minutes later they tell me that they “finally found the leak” and will be “patching it back up.” And that it was a “previous patch repair” that was done by Toyota Direct in Gahanna by Easton Town Center off of Morse Rd. In short, it took almost 4 hours just to get 1 tire with a leak patched up. 3 weeks later and now I am back!!! For the same exact tire (I believe). Service rep told me “give me about an hour and I’ll come get you.” Going on hour #3 of 1 and I am still here in the waiting area with no communication from anyone. Just sitting here waiting, drinking decent coffee. Do not come here for service on your vehicle. Should have gone to Tire Discounters or whatever they are called. Made contact on Monday, May 3 to request an estimate for rear bearings and replacement on my 2012 Prius. Tom, the customer service rep said he would turn this over to their estimator. I never received an email nor return phone call even to today, May7. I called Tansky two added times and was always promised I would hear from them yet that day. Worst overall customer service ever.I since contacted Toyota West and was given an estimate on the spot and now have my Prius in their shop!Former long time customer of Tansky now a new customer of Toyota West!!

I was truly panicked when my 2014 Rav4 wouldnt start in the frigid weather. Nothing I tried worked and I had no idea what to do. My auto service had me on hold for half an hour and still no answer so I hung up and called Tansky. The parts department suggested a towing service that could pick up my car and in an hour the car was loaded up and on the way to Tansky. Tom called right back and said my car would be ready early the next morning and it was. Mark had the shuttle pick me up and I had a new 6yr. battery, a warm car, and I was on my way. I was lost and desperate and if it had not been for the employees at Tansky, I might still be on hold and with no car.

I leased a car here and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and service. I recently went back to have car serviced and had even better service. I wasn’t sure where to drop car off or pick up and multiple employees pointed me to the right direction. I was even asked if I would like some chocolate upon checkout. It’s nice to actually see a place strive for customer service and excellence especially with the world in its current situation.

Out of all the cars I have bought over the years this was the best experience by far! Tanya was excellent and never once was pushy or unprofessional. When I let her know the car I was interested in she immediately got me the keys and sent me on a test drive. She was really easy to work with during the negotiations, I was in and out in probably less than an hour and the finance portion took maybe 5 min. (The last car I bought took me 5hrs at the dealership) They didn’t try to sell me a warranty I didn’t need and were super friendly. Absolutely love my 2012 Equus!!

One star and should be less for your service department. sales is great. I bought a 2019 Tacoma and has a fuel pump recall. I contacted Toyota Brand Engagement center, they were very helpful, and told me to reach out to the service manager, Mark Mathews, and he would be able explain the procedure and let me know about a car rental. So I called Mark left a message and no return call. Waited 2 days, no call from Mark, then called Toyota Direct. Got all the info I needed and a car rental within the hour. Tansky service knows very little about Tacomas. So my advice if your planning on buying a Tacoma go to Toyota Direct. like I said Tansky sales peolpe are great, I even had my son buy a car there , before I had a run in with the service department. Trust me the extra time and distance to Direct is worth it.

Went in for a computer recall repair and they also drained the oil for some reason, but didnt put any back in! Luckily we (via the car warning system) caught the mistake before we drove off the lot with no oil in the engine. Good times...

I have had a terrible experience with Tanksy. When I bought my car, they put the wrong VIN number on the paperwork. I noticed it a few weeks later and they were not apologetic or overly concerned about fixing it. A few weeks later, they said they did fix it and had me sign new paperwork. I finally got the title and took it to the BMV. A few weeks later, BMV called me and told me the title had the wrong VIN and that they were going to void it within 24 hours. I called Tansky and could only get voicemail. This was for a new Highlander Hybrid which wasnt cheap and the experience continues to be horrible. I love the car but would strongly recommend that folks go to a different dealer.
