Didn’t get to try. They’re currently only open 10am-2pm Fridays and Saturdays while they complete some construction. Looking forward to trying it though!

I was told to visit this place bc, they are able to make vegetables savory. This is entirely true, brunch was delightful, filling, and in an environment where you could comfortably spend an hour or more. Trinosophes has a less hustled brunch vibe than other spots mostly due to just how large the space is. Mid-century modern vibes and good company make this a weekend favorite.

Trinosophes is a great place to hear music from across the globe that has well prepared food, tasty baked goods and soft beverages all in a chill environment. Oh, and it is connected to a record store next door.

Airy, gorgeous, modernist cafe with beautiful plants and a wealth of books. Delicious simple food and excellent coffee. A local artist and intellectual hangout. Warda patisserie does everything exquisitely. Peoples Records is friendly and well curated. A very well done shared business.

Amazing coffee and tunes and even better food. One room is a no laptop zone which is cool cause the next room has big tables to work at. Really amazing place.

Review №16

First of all, the coffee is out of this world, and so is the setting. Minimalist is right, with little more than a bar, tables, and a beautifully-stocked bookshelf (or 3). I could skim a blanco and sip a novel in here all day, and that is not even to mention their delectable vegan offerings.

Al
Review №17

The fact that you guys want to reserve the main space for customers who eat, mostly brunch during weekend, is perfectly understandable. But that you systematically kick people out of this room, even when it is totally empty on a early Tuesday morning, this is just unacceptable. The price (pretty high) we pay for food and drinks is the same so I dont see why I have to be forced (been asked twice then when I got my laptop out, the lady just lost it) to sit where you choose, never saw that before... I wont be back.

The coffee here is definitely a step up from the regular cafe fare. The food also looks very good although I havent tried it yet. Beware of of parking out front they give tickets indiscriminately even when youre parked legally

Visiting Detroit for the first time and grabbed lunch here with my cousin. The breakfast sandwich (with avocado) was AMAZING. I dont know how they make their biscuits, but I dont know that Ive ever tasted anything like them. They are super buttery, crunchy on the outside, and so moist on the inside. I want to take a box of them home! Their green tea vanilla latte is delicious, as well. The atmosphere is super chill. Would definitely go here again and recommend!

Previously gave this place 5 stars, downgraded because now they no longer let you sit and meet people or do work on the weekends unless you buy a full brunch service (maybe even after you buy it) — be warned!I had to switch up my weekly morning coffee work meeting because I didn’t know of the new policy. Headed over to Germack’s across the street in Eastern Market, which has great coffee and teas. For brunch, I’d recommend neighboring Antietam while they’re still open!

NOT A PLACE WHERE PRODUCTIVITY CAN LIVE. I want to like this place SO BAD! I work from home, its walking distance from my home, also cute, trendy, cozy and the food isnt bad at all. So help me, this is the most HORRIBLE place to try and get things done on your computer. There is always, and I mean ALWAYS an issue with seating every time I give it another chance. You cant sit here, This area is closed, No laptops at this table... Not enough outlets but dont worry, theyll get you an extension cord that doesnt have a third prong for your new and up - to - date laptop. Im telling you, the food is the only saving grace this place has from a productivity standpoint. Looking for a work space, go to Starbucks in Greektown. Looking to chill and have a sip and a bite, this is your spot.

It wasnt idle for a show. Theres no alcohol, or ventilation so up by the stage it was super hot/stinky and sweaty. Reminiscent of my warp tour days. We paid $20 for Ty Segall who was awesome, but I wouldnt want to be there for a show again. The cafe servers were half nice and half rude. Probably annoyed that everyone was disappointed they didnt serve booze... but that wasnt our problem it was theres :/
