One of my favorite shops. Love the design, and saying: Drink Coffee, Live Wild located in the heart of Detroit, pour over, tea, espresso based drinks with some pastries. This place is always a good time. The Turmeric Cappuccino was a good unique drink!

Great coffee and friendly staff. Not a huge selection of pastries (mostly bagels), but what they had was good. I got a cookie dough pop tart.

Get thee to Ashe! This hole in the wall coffee joint in downtown Detroit is superlative. Eclectic, warm, and inviting with unbelievablely good coffee drinks. Try their affogato or matchagato! If the friendly NSync singing barrista doesnt pick you up, their coffee surely will!

A charming cafe & roasterie across Detroit Opera House. Perfect when youve got couple hours to kill. ⏳ Try the Black Camo (charcoal-rosted green tea made into syrup). 😋

When I order a latte from a more unique coffee shop like ASHE Supply Co, I tend to order the seasonal or promotional latte. My last visit here was promoting the Miel Latte. I had no idea what it was. The barista explained that it was a French styled drink with honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. All four ingredients were flavorful, sweet, and complimented each other well. I was happy that I tried this latte.Of course knowing that I have no self control for sweets, I could not help myself. Actually I did help myself to a Pumpkin Muffin! It was not my fault. As I was ordering the Miel Latte, it was screaming at me to be ordered. The Miel Latte and the Pumpkin Muffin were two victories for this visit!

Great vibes and coffee! Parking is either on street or elsewhere downtown. Also, some of their doors arent automatic, however it is very accessible friendly.

This is a very interesting retro and motorcycle themed coffee shop. It was summer so I only tried their iced espresso and cold brew. The coffee quality is excellent and their staff shows passion and care for their craft. I like the retro glasses they serve their coffee in, it gives it an interesting esthetic.

Very cute and hip coffee stop. We had the americano and a cappuccino the taste was delicious. There wasnt much seating if you plan to hang out there, but worth it if you get a spot. Also close to the z lot for good parking.

Micro batch coffee shop. They have several brewing methods, so it’s fun to try different ways to check the taste of them. The vaccine coffee siphon is hard to find in the US so try it out!

Looking for killer coffee, and awesome service? ASHE Supply Co is the place to go. Never have I ever had a bad cup of coffee there.Always friendly, and always looking to educate the client to a better understanding of coffee!

Coffee was very good. Went here two different days, and got a vanilla latte each time. First one was full of grounds, even in the milk, which is odd. 2nd one was perfect. I would go back here, but would prefer consistency.

In all my Detroit coffee travels, I was blown away that I hadn’t gotten to ASHE sooner! Diverse window, bar, and table seating is paired perfectly with a chill and cool atmosphere.The house-roasted espresso I had was an exceptionally well extracted shot that rang out strong notes of toasted peanut, dried berries, and a sweet butter caramel finish.I will most definitely be visiting again the next time I am in the area.

They dont have decaf beans (theyre a small operation and roast their own), but the hot chocolate they served with steamed macadamia milk was incredible. The sweet baristas also recommended other herbal/naturally decaf alternatives, so well definitely be coming back! They were also ridiculously excited to meet and treat our pups!

Cool coffee shop. I stopped by for ~20 minutes before meeting with some friends. Ordered a drip coffee + vegan carrot muffin and really enjoyed both.

This has to be the raddest cafe and coffee shop Ive visited. This is one of the only places Ive visited that exclusively uses copper brewing equipment. The naturally processed Honduran coffee brewed in the V60 02 jumped with tons of bright fruity flavors and had me wishing I could buy a bag to take home. A true coffee bar setup and an artistic and Motown vibe with friendly hospitality added to the enjoyment and kept me from leaving for a long while. I wish this place was in Akron, Ohio.

Loved the laid back but somewhat industrial feel, which included things like a vintage motorcycle. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about coffee and different brewing options and is happy to explain them to you. The coffee itself was some of the best I have had. Love this place and happy I stumbled upon it.

Great service. Loved the individual making of the coffee. Loved the fact they kept the half/half in refrigerator and not left out getting warm. Would have been a total 5 stars but the coffee was just warm not hot hot like I was expecting with a custom brew.

Had a great Guatemalan pour over. An easy stop off the highway on your way out of town. Central and convenient.

I got a pour over today with a decent amount of grounds in the bottom of the cup. When I asked the person working about it, turns out the owner made the cup. This is the second time this has happened and it really can make a person feel sick. I never post reviews, but this seems like something that should be known.Maybe fix things!

Great place, great atmosphere, employees are all very professional and just overall cool and friendly. Coffee - freshest and most flavourful I have had in D. The snacks and pastries are good, though a bit more variety could help. However, that is really a minor thing, and as long as youre going there for the coffee/tea and atmosphere, its top notch!

Ive never had a bad experience with ASHE. The coffee, no matter the flavor or the brewing process, the service, and the snacks are always top notch. Even after moving to the coffee capital of the world (Seattle) I still only choose ASHE coffee and the subscription plan just makes it that much easier to enjoy.

Solid coffee option, it was better than I expected for Detroit. Im not going to say it was amazing, but it was well done. The decor and place was very cool, but we just picked some coffees to go and they hit the spot!

It was a slow day and empty when I went in. Tried the Kenya pourover and it had decent flavor. Decided to add some cream from their little carafe on the counter and it pretty badly curdled. Employee said oh, stir it for 30 seconds, its not spoiled, I promise. I said Id give it a try, but it was just sour. I could not drink it. My partners cappuccino wasnt bad, the atmosphere was fine and the location is good. But I threw $4.50 down the drain and was bummed at the customer service.

Very friendly staff and great selection of drinks. My chai latte was served at a perfect temperature. Id highly recommend this even if you dont plan on staying in to enjoy your food or drink.The atomosphere is hip and very much the trend for downtown Detroit right now. Id recommend this over Roasting Plant because it is not as busy and feels more comfortable.

No decaf, was told theyre too hardcore to serve decaf but I did have a pretty delicious green apple Ginger tea. Nice atmosphere, maybe a bit too quiet for my taste but they livened up the place with Sublime right as I was leaving.

Well worth trying this place out. The coffee was by far the best in the area. The owners were great!

I tried the Cafe Miel and it is delicious! Sweet, plus cinnamon gives a great touch, I also had the Kenya coffee it was awesome, bittersweet but a good bittersweet. Try the pastries ;)

Cute little coffee shop with pour over and espresso options ONLY. No pre-brewed drip coffee, which is fine, if you arent in a hurry. Luckily I wasnt, so I had no problem wiatinh for my pour over. And not over priced and they had a pretty good snack menu with lots if healthy options.

3 visits and Im hooked... Round 1: latte... To quote 10 things I hate about you I know you can be overwhelmed and you can be underwhelmed, but can you just be whelmed?... Yes you can and thats what this latte was.Round 2: cortado and a goat cheese and onion brioche. This was a case of better but just not right.Round 3: cafe miel... Holy mother of god this was beyond delicious I will have one everyday and go bankrupt and be fat! And I dont care... It was that good!The vibe in this place is amazing and so unpretentious as many of the hipster coffee bars tend to lean more towards the plaid shirt pretentious crowd. This place however is perfection... Incredibly friendly staff... Conveniently located right next to my apartment and my dog seems to love it there too!

They wouldnt make a basic vanilla latte, but offered a delicious substitute café meil instead. Now I am hooked and I dont even like honey. Also had live music mid-day on a Wednesday.

Great coffee that is roasted on site, with multiple styles of coffee brewing to choose from. Ashe is the only place I know in Detroit to offer vacuum/siphon brewing, a real treat for those coffee connoisseurs/snobs.

Honestly one of my favorite spots in Detroit. I dont even go there for their coffee -- but instead for their Macha Lattes! Its a small place but the atmosphere is great, and everyone behind the counter is super friendly. AJ -- the owner -- is great to talk to. Big fan of this place.
