Keep your watercraft AWAY from this eternal graveyard! I bought a Waverunner Jet Ski based on the owners recommendation. Finding that it needed carb work, I called July 5th and the owner said to bring it right in, and they would get right on it. After a week I heard nothing and called. They told me that it needed to be water tested, which they do when the owner ALLOWS it (only if theyre not too busy). It should be tested in another week. Another week went by and a new story. It was now next in line to be fixed. Should only be a few days. Another week went by. Nothing. A 4th week and the owner promised me that it would get water tested the next day. At the end of the next day I called after he failed to contact me as promised. The mechanic, being egged on by the owner said it still hasnt been looked at and I told him about the owners promise, and the owner told him to tell me to pick it up and go somewhere else and they hung up on me. So Im the bad guy for leaving it there for over A MONTH while they continually lied to me and did NOTHING. The worst is that this was just an evaluation. If it needs parts, then another month to wait and the whole summer is lost. They have NO WORK ETHIC, and dont care whatsoever about lying to customers. I will NEVER go there again. Pathetic poor treatment of someone who was a repeat customer and I never raised my voice to them. Just pathetic!

Al and his guys took great care of my truck in a pinch! Stopped in and they ran tests and replaced my EGR coolant hose at the drop of a hat at a decent price. Als front desk lady also drove me home and picked me up during and after the repair. I give these guys 5 stars and would encourage future customers to check them out.

Can I give less than 1 star? Where is the zero option? I have taken both my jetski in there several times and boat and each time it is returned to me they say its good to go and then next time out on the water Im a sitting duck, broken down again. I could not feel less confident about a place and I will no longer be going back there.

Does NOT perform correct NY State Inspections! I just recently bought a vehicle from a dealer that was inspected by Lancaster Auto & Truck. The first day I got it I took it to another shop to have it looked over. (I do Not trust car dealers). A friend of mine is the manager of the shop I took it to. Him I trust and the shop he runs is very reputable. They found 3 things that failed inspection horribly. A few years ago I bought a car from a Private seller. It was inspected at Lancaster Auto & Truck also. It should Not have passed either. It had many things wrong with it. This guy needs to be put out of business for Not following rules, laws and regulations.

This is the only place I will take my vehicle for any service. They are kind, trustworthy, and have fair prices. Theyve never tried to tell me I need something I dont or get me to buy anything more than what I came in for.

Worst experience with mechanics I have ever had. I took my jet ski in with a blown center cylinder last fall. I was presented with the option of putting in a new motor. This option would have cost more than I paid for the jet ski originally ( its a 1996 Polaris sl900). After stating that I wasnt sure I was willing to spend that much money on a20 year old ski, the mechanic said he could look at it more closely to determine if it was repairable. I brought it back in the spring and reviewed our conversation as well. He agreed to look at the engine and determine if it can/should be fixed. He called back several weeks later happy to say it was repairable and I was very lucky. Final bill was $840 for a rebuilt center cylinder and new bilge pump. Ski ran for about 1 hour before engine blew again and compression was lost in multiple cylinders. Took the ski back and it sat at mechanic location untouched for 6 weeks. Repeated attempts to talk with mechanic failed. I should have my head checked because I took another ski to them that was running poorly. They charged me $120 to remove seaweed from the intake( which got there when it came out of the water). This changed nothing in regards to the actual problem and When I brought that one back they said it would cost me more money to find the problem. When I finally did get to talk to mechanic about Polaris he claimed that I convinced him to repair the cylinder and that he wanted to only replace the engine. He even went so far as to call me a con man because I made him do work that he never would have done. He literally told me to take him to small claims court when I asked for some credit toward the repair of second jet ski. Unbelievably bad experience with a local independent business. My 17 year old son split the cost of the jet ski repair with me and he is certainly learning a hard lesson and seeing a very ugly side of a person.

The owner is always involved with the everyday workings of the business. Honesty and reliability are rare traits with mechanics now a days, but the owner Al displays both on the regular.

This past summer I had my jet ski here for over a month . Kept getting the run around , then they supposedly ordered the wrong part. I am reasonable and understandable, but this place didnt call me once (not exaggerating) in the whole month it was there with an update. I had to call them and. Every time there was an update promise time given . Never received a call . I had to call them and was treated rudely. I was a paying customer that authorized $500 in repairs that never were done . If an authorized $500 doesnt motivate you to do the repairs what will ? Finally I went and picked up my unfinished machine and took it to another repair facility where it was properly diagnosed and fixed for $220. Not only were they horrible communicators but they also misdiagnosed it. After my experience I found many many people that had the same experiences i did. I even witnessed them damamage a trailer to a beautiful sea doo speed boat that was there for service . Please run run run dont risk it. There are other options in the area !
