Favorite liquor store in Denver for most of my life. Grew up near University Hills South location and live nearby now. Great selection, friendly and helpful staff, frequent sales and easy to find whatever you need.

Customer service, selection, and no waiting in line! The cashier took me to exactly what I came for (like this is 2017, or 1817) and rang me up with a smile and good wishes. Felt like a small town experience where everyone loves life. Plus this blood orange liqueur smells and tastes like the Italian coast. Wow, we live in great times.

Ive been going to this store for about 5 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Ive never had a bad experience. Good beer and wine selection, best part is the deals and sales they have. Its nice that they are connected to drugstore.

Always has some pretty good deals on beers, and staff is generally very friendly and pretty knowledgeable. They have a tasting room, and some fairly nice imported wines. Interesting crowds shop here.. I usually only go during the day, as Ive been accosted by some drunk hobos at night.

Nice selection and good prices.itll be interesting to see what the long term effects of the Total Wine are on some of the local liquor stores. sometimes its great to be able to run in, grab something, and be back in your car 90sec later. thats not happening at Total Wine. of course, its also nice to still have some money in your pocket when you get back in your car. in this regard, Keg wont be as affected as some stores, Keg has always been a good value.I digress; Keg is a good place to shop.

Always good/polite people that work here. Ive been coming here for about 3 years, seen people come and go, but they somehow know how to hire people. Ive been at restaurants with less pleasant visits. You dont really expect that same quality of customer service from a convenience store, but they got it goin on!

I really like this place. They have great selections on beer whiskey tequila and wine. I will say that they could really use to open another checkout lane.

Being this close to home I think this place is one of the best stores in the area. Only thing bringing my rating down a little is the staff isnt always as knowledgeable as Id like with their rather large wine selection.

Since Walgreens now owns Keg liquors, the inventory has gone down and the prices Have gone up. There are cheaper and better places On Colorado boulevard to find liquor.

High prices, worse service

Very large and well curated collection of under $20 wines, as well as a separate higher end section, all fairy priced. Very strong on California brands, weak on South Africa, mixed on South America but generally god variety and quality, meaning not the cheapest no name brands. my favorite Cateña Malbec was appropriately priced at $18.99.

I just left about $50 worth of liquor , snacks , and pharmacy items at the cashier because the only cashier just walked off without saying a word after he waited on the customer in front of me. I have been in retail management in various parts of my life and $50 in sales lost even once per week because you hired some entitled POS that had bad parenting will kill a company that has such tight GMROI goals.This boy needs to only stock shelves and not have customer contact

Keg is often my go-to liquor store because I live nearby.Its one of the bigger liquor stores in the area.They have a decent selection of beer although whoever is buying beer isnt a beer person. They stock all of the major craft breweries but they are limited on the smaller local breweries. They also have a VERY small and poor selection of bombers (relative to the size of the store). Their beer sales are pretty mediocre at best. Normal prices are fair (neither high nor low)They have a decent selection of wine - similar to beer they have all the major brands youd expect but not a lot of unusual stuff. Prices are fair to sometimes a little better than usual.Hard liquor is much the same although the sales on hard liquor are frequent and you can pick up some decent stuff at good mark-downs (more expensive single malts are sometimes 20% off). If you are in the market for an expensive bottle of spirits Keg is worth checking.The staff are there to check you out - and thats about it. In fact, often the beers are not priced or in the system and Ive been asked on several occasions to go and find the price. This should NOT be the customers responsibility. It also delays the checkout time and others in line which escalates frustration for all.Keg is convenient for me - but I find that unless Im really just going in for something quick, I often drive farther for better selections and MUCH better staff. (See Hampden Liquor Warehouse and Liquor Galaxy).

This store is owned by Rite Aid, so it kind of gas a Rite Aid feel to it (the stores are connected). In saying that, tue employees are friendly, prices are reasonable and the line to check out is usually pretty short.

VERY poor selection of a variety of beer. Mostly IPAs and pilsners( unless you are looking for bombers). Really how many IPA choices do we need?? Hardly ANY smaller breweries represented, and when they are they are all IPAs. Boooring. For such an large store they could definitely compete with Argonaut.The good: they price match and the staff is nice. They have decent sales.

Best liquor store in the area, hands down.Best prices by far. The everyday-pricing is darn good, and their specials are often the best in town. Seriously, Ive seen pricing here that Tipsys, Argonaut, and DaveCo dont touch.Their beer selection is good, with a good variety of local brews.Liquor selection always has a deep discount of some sort, usually at least 25% off of normal pricing.Check out their walk-in beer cooler at the very back. Looks like an employee area with sliding doors, but you can go in. Good for even a few extra minutes on a hot summer day to cool off. This is a good chance to pick up some of the cheap beers (Coors, Keystone, Corona, etc.)Only only only complaint? The registers and lines can back up a bit.Staff cards everyone... EVERYONE. Their point-of-sale machine requires an exact birthdate, so quit your bitchin and dig out your ID. The staff is doing their jobs, lighten up ya old farts.
