Id called all over town looking for something with no luck. Called here, talked to Armando. I mentioned that if they had what I needed, it was going to take me 1+ hour to get there. He was willing to go check for me that they had what I needed. They did! The store was hopping when I got there, so I was glad Id caught him the day before when he wasnt super busy. While I was there several people helped me navigate to exactly where I needed to get my product (its huge, I saw many thin that will be useful, and I got turned around). Customer service was terrific, starting with Armando and all the way through! The price I was also great! Ill definitely be back.

Be ready to hunt and pick on your own, somewhere theres a service person, but probably youll have to self-help your way through the stacks n racks on your own. Very few things are clearly priced which means theyre expecting a little negotiation. Quality stuff though, expansive warehouse.

Im sure there are some good deals, however the some areas are way to packed with stuff to truly see what you are looking at.No one greeted me or offered any form of help navigating the store, however there was a a group of employees or some employees with some friends i dont know, but they were only concerned with hanging out.That said ended up buying from a big box store as the offering and pricing was about $75.00 more, but no scratch and dent possibilities.

My door guy is closing shop and pointed me to this place. Dont expect to be greeted with a warm hello. But I asked for help, treated them with respect and kindness and got excellent help. The guy who rang up the sale was a jerk but he did give me a good discount because I bought 11 higher end doors. If youre buying Homedepot budget quality dont expect a screaming deal and its probably not worth the hassle of sifting through the stacks of stuff here. However, if youre looking for higher end material youmay score. I bought 11, 8ft, custom, solid core doors for what the front door alone wouldve cost.

Im a locksmith and in this place I feel like a kid in a candy store, people complain about the customer service here. Being very liberal. I personally like not having a salesman breathing down my neck from the moment I walk inside. They all know my face and know Im not shy about grabbing the step ladder to look on top of the shelves or love items to access what Im looking for. I enjoy the conversations I do have with the employees when I see them. Armando in particular, he is always on the go and juggling 3-4 things at once and he always has time to say hello and ask if theres anything in particular Im looking for. Thats about all that need in my interactions and Im good. The best part of all is the better deal I get on quality hardware i in turn extend the discount to my customer base and tell them about Extras when Im doing home rekeys for new buyers. Absolutely trash service. I’m not expecting the red carpet treatment, but that doesn’t mean that service has to presented at a caveman’s capacity. My husband is a tradesman and 99% of the time knows what he talking about. Just trying to even get the simplest of information regarding fencing materials you would think that he was asking the staff to answer a quantum physics equation.We basically ended up walking out and taking our money to a business that obviously appreciate they’re customers. If it were possible to give this establishment less than 1 star I would without hesitation.

Hit or miss here. The prices are ok but Ive never even gotten as much as a hello when I go there. Ive never had somebody ask if theres something they can help me find or what brings me in, which would be nice. They have a decent selection of things but alot of stuff without prices ect.

Because of the demand for building materials, their inventory was as low as Ive ever seen it. Nevertheless, they still have great prices if you are willing to invest the time to find what you need.

Hit or miss on if they have what youre looking for or not as their inventory is made up of what happens to be left over or extra from building sites. We recently completed a major renovation of our home in Denver and although we did not find what we were looking for during the project, I have since been back and found other items I have found useful to be used around our home. This is always a good place to start looking if you have a small project or just need a little extra of one thing or another. I find that materials are about half price of if they were new so you can save a bit of money. However, you will find that you are on your own and when you have questions you may or may not find someone who can help you to answer them.

I bought 4 pieces of standard trim here thinking it would be cheaper than any where else and ended up paying $75. Wont be going back here

Great place for inexpensive, overstock building materials. Many of the same things youd find at Lowes/Home Depot, except a larger space, and everything is much cheaper.

You kinda have to know what youre looking for and the staff isnt always super available, but theyre always super helpful

Purchased 75 boxes of flooring tiles on July 15. Scheduled contractor to pick up & install. Verified pick up time/date with store. Upon arrival, contractor called me to state they sold my order & would not assist in replacing . Totally unprofessional

Its a okay place they have good windows for sometimes cheaper than Depot or lowes. Make sure you check prices before paying because not everything has a price and if you have a coupon that they give when paying the cashier will add the discounted price to the final pay so you dont really save from the coupon price. Then they come out with excuses for the coupon like its supposed to be printed , one coupon per purchase (even though my friend was buying something for him and he had his own coupon). It has no exceptions on the coupon. Be Careful

Never ever will I recomend anyone to this place again. Has gone downhill went for three cabinets price listed $100. Asked sales rep he said wrong price. He proceded to upsell said that are $200.00 each wrong price in marker.. went and purchased at buds warehouse. So sad

Cool place. Lots of inventory. Would come with someone who speaks Spanish, as the first two times I came I only encountered spanish-soeaking individuals and I was glad I could communicate. Otherwise it may be very difficult to find what youre looking for.

I was in the store about 2 years ago and got killer deals on stuff that I could reuse. I just went in recently after covid and they have tons of stock. I asked a possible salesman about pricing on some doors and he quoted me almost twice of what the door said it was priced for. You just had to look on the other side of the door. Buyer beware about which salesman you get. I was here to buy a bunch of materials but that salesman made it so I will never come back

If yiur looking for quality for the bottom dollar yiu found it, lumber, doors , windows trim tile hardware they got it . Keep it up boys

Great store, excellent selection and somewhat good prices, not the greatest but good prices. My only problem would be that while I was there talking on the phone about what I was going to purchase, I inadvertently pulled my mask down while I was speaking. The guy at the front who appears to be the lead man got on me about having my mask down, in which he should, I mean were in a pandemic so I dont blame him. But what I do have an issue with is when I went up to the front to pay or what I had bought, he and his crew all up front the only one of them had his mask on. Like I said its a great store and its important for my business to have a store like that, but you got to practice what you preach, put your mask on,all of you, including you boss man.

Armando is awesome. Changing menagerie of inventory. I get lost and spend hours in the store as there’s so much to offer.They’ve really helped me out with things I’d have to wait weeks to get elsewhere.Know that it’s a surplus store. Meaning that not everything is “standard”, “perfect”, they offer free measuring tapes to use while in the store. Check everything as things can be at times “oops” items.One of my favorite go to spots for materials of all makes, things, and unique finds.

I wish we had found this place sooner!! If you’re renovating your home or work in remodeling this needs to be on your must visit list.We’ve done our share of digging through Restore and Bud’s but Extras is just a whole new level. It’s not just more donated, out dated, used materials. Most of it is new that’s been bought back after mid orders, close outs, etc... so the quality is legit.It’s also well organized. If you’re willing to spend some time (and come prepared with what you’re looking for) you can really save a ton on your projects.We go back frequently to see what’s come in and it’s 100% worth it. We’ve saved tons. Love this place.

They have a ton of doors and windows. Unfortunately, they didnt have what I was looking for. It was hard to find anyone to help me. If youre willing to look around yourself and they have what you need this place is a hidden gem.

The disorganization is marvelous if digging for an hour to locate a part to finish my project sounded fun. They have a good selection of stuff my heart just desires a better organized place.

I still believe prices are high considering youre not getting neither a custom item or brand new, but second hand. Yes I was disappointed, however, I found what I was looking for in a pair. So pay the price, move on, I just doubt it im going back to this place. Even theres more I need out their stock but it was all damaged and way too high.

This place has the best doors! I have been here many times and always find something that I can use that has style. Things are always changing so dont think about something too long. They can hold items for you so you can discuss it with your significant other or just have to dream about it like me. They are Friendly and know their stock. I am an artist and am always doing some weird project. They have good suggestions and show me things I have missed.

All I can say is WOW!These guys have just about everything and they have a lot of it. Windows for days, tons of insulation, doors to fit any need, and the folks are very nice.They do not have an inventory list, but their staff is knowledgeable. Well be back for supplies again in the future!

I love Extras Building Materials for doors, and hinges. I have been coming here for years because I have been renovating my house. The doors are very reasonable and you can get pre-hung or just doors. Today (12/24/19), I bought a hollow interior door for my basement bathroom and it was $15 + tax!! How can you beat that price???It was a 30 primed door that I painted white and I would have to drill the hole for the doorknob and route the side out for the hinges, but thats not a big deal. The more common door widths already have the doorknob holes and hinges pre-drilled.The staff here is so nice and always so helpful. One time, I came needing cabinet pulls for my kitchen cabinets. I wasnt sure which length I had so the manager let me take 1 of each length home and said shed see me tomorrow. Like who does that?? Of course, I came back the next day and bought the amount I needed in the correct length.Extras also sells tile, laminate flooring, windows, bathtubs, toilets, but unfortunately, I dont need those items. This is definitely the best kept DIY secret in Denver!!

Large warehouse filled with surplus (not used) building materials. Lots of cabinets and hardware, fasteners, wood trim, and flooring. I had to wait and watch for when a lot of solid oak flooring came in to meet my needs, but worth it.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. They have horrible customer service. Not friendly. Really rude!! Not helpful! The old men in the counter is not helpful at all. They have an amazing selection of doors and windows. We went in and fount 11 8ft solid wood doors and spent about 1/3 what we would have if we found them anywhere else, even online. We will be building a house and this is where I will be getting most of my supplies.
