Went and got my earspierced, was super nervous but not only was the staff super nice and chill, but also very helpful with all my questions. My piercer made it a point to not o ly make sure my ears lined up to him but kept asking me how I felt and thought on how it looked. Definitely coming back more and some tatts!

I went in for a few pieces of body jewelry and I was really unsure about whether I actually wanted to buy a $25 septum ring that I didn’t even like and the salesman (as greatly helpful as he was) kind of forced me into buying it and now I’m stuck with an extremely uncomfortable septum ring that doesnt match my nostril piercings. Don’t let them talk you into a purchase you don’t want just because they’re nice! I understand that most shops don’t accept returns or exchanges and why they wouldn’t, so please just be sure you trust your gut and don’t waste your money! Other than that, I do adore the jewelry this shop offers and all the employees are really friendly. I feel bad leaving a negative review, I just wanted to warn others before they get themselves into this position also.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced here, 8yrs old. Totally scared out of her witts when it came time for the uber looong needle to go through her body. The young woman doing the piercing completely talked her down and got laughter for the actual punctures! Top notch.

I stopped in today for a quick finger tattoo by Harry Catsis. The shop was clean, beautifully decorated, and everyone was very polite and professional. It was very different from the shops back home (Virginia). Harry was very welcoming and quick, while still make the short session all about the art itself. It felt less like a tattoo session and more like seeing an old friend. My lines were perfectly straight and the whole process was clean. I’ll definitely go back for more!

I had my septum and nipples pierced by Candace Clark. She was very professional, nice and talked through everything she was doing which made it comfortable and easy to get pierced by her. When piercing she is very quick while still being thorough and accurate. I’d say it took her less than five seconds to pierce and thread the jewelry. My experience at BBD was absolutely wonderful! I got my septum pierced, and not having other piercings, I was a bit nervous. Maya (ig: @yourpiercingninja), my piercing artist, was super attentive during the entire process and her enthusiasm for her work was abundant. My piercing turned out so well, I couldnt be happier!!! The establishment was kept super clean and I felt really comfortable being there. 10/10 will return :) :)

I had an excellent experience with Candace Clark however the red head women who rung me up was disorganized, dismissive, and attempting to multitask however she just kept getting flustered. Perhaps she needs more help answering phone calls and assisting customers in the lobby. However Candace was amazing!!!

Thu is extremely unprofessional. He needs to work on his social skills and should probably get his mental health checked. There is clearly something wrong with him and I hope that he gets it worked out so he can live up to his potential instead of wasting his time on this Earth.

I had gotten a bridge piercing by Maya and I am so happy with it! I’ve had several facial piercings before, and the pain is standard. However, Maya was so quick and gentle that I didn’t feel anything at all! She took into consideration my face shape and any facial imperfections to make sure the piercing placement suited my face well. I highly recommend Maya!

I had a wonderful experience with Tiffany at Bound By Design. I was self-conscious about my mismatched earlobe piercings and was looking for someone who would take on the case of re-piercing my earlobes. Since I didnt have a fully closed piercing yet, most places said they werent able to do anything - enter Tiffany Rose who was brave enough to take this difficult case! She was so caring and had me in for several consultations to help close my piercing and ensure that I wouldnt be in the same predicament in the future. The new piercing came out wonderfully and Im so thrilled to be able to wear earrings again.

I needed two studs for my nostrils, and the girl who greeted me was very rude. I had made an appointment and was a couple minutes early, but she was on the phone and didnt even say hi to me, and when she did, she acted like I was a nuisance. Maybe she was just having a bad day. But then I tried to tell her what I was looking for, and she proceeded to grab the ones I pointed out without saying anything. $43 later and she gives me the wrong piece of jewelry. I liked one of them, and I figured there was a no refund policy for jewelry, so I tried one on when I got home, just to find out she gave me the wrong size push pin for the pieces of jewelry she grabbed me. I didnt want to go back to ask for help because I figured it wouldnt get me anywhere. Definitely not coming back.

Made an appointment for an industrial piercing after seeing the positive reviews. The current process regarding getting in, signing paperwork, being pierced, etc. is being handled extremely well in the context of the pandemic. My hands were sanitized, everyone wore masks, and appropriate distances were kept whenever possible. Candace is a true pro piercer and offered some great tips for aftercare that I hadnt heard from other piercers before. Overall great experience and would highly recommend to anyone, even those who, fairly, have covid anxiety. Also remember to generously tip your artist! They make it super easy by taking cash or Venmo.

I had the most amazing experience for my first ever tattoo. Harry was welcoming, kind, and made sure I understood every step of the tattooing process. This shop has received a major face-lift and a whole hell of a lot more talent than a decade prior. I had been tattooed here well over 10years ago and was not impressed. Following a new addition to the team, Thu, I was very impressed with the shops cleanliness. Great, great artist and human. Parking is a hit or miss due to the area, so show up early.

I was really nervous about getting my double outer helix done. I’ve wanted it done for years but I’ve been scared of the pain. I was so impressed by Patrick, who did my piercings. He is an incredibly knowledgeable piercer and great at explaining both the process of the piercing and the after care. I was truly astounded by the lack of pain I experienced- even doing two piercings! He was so quick and gentle, it hurt far less than getting a shot. I am so happy with my piercings and highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking to have body jewelry put in. Bound by Design is a great studio- clean with friendly staff. Be ready for a wait if you’re doing a walk in, but I promise- it’s worth the wait!

After having a nose piercing fall out and not being able to get one back in I called the original place I got my nose pierced (which is a reputable expensive place in Denver... dont want to name names) and they said they couldnt help me and that I should straighten out a staple and use that. I made an appointment with Patrick and he just stretched my hole out LOL and charged me for the jewelery and sent me on my way. Very clean. Very professional. Come here to get pierced, dont go anywhere else!

I went here to get the other side of my nostril pierced after unfortunately having my first one done at IRIS Studio in Capitol Hill. I was blown away by how kind, informative, and professional the staff at Bound By Design was! Tiffany was incredible! She went into great detail about piercing aftercare and made sure I was super comfortable before she did the piercing. It was a complete 180 from the last experience of getting a nose piercing. I didnt feel nervous or rushed. The price points here are very fair and the studio itself is beautiful. Super clean place! I will definitely be back for more piercings and to upgrade my jewelry! Absolutely recommend Bound By Design. This was my second stop for a quote on a tattoo (it shouldve been my first). The first shop I had gone to tried to scam me by quoting me a very high price on a small yet simple design I had been inquiring about. Had it not been for Lauren, I probably would have gone back there and would have ended up getting scammed. Lauren absolutely helped out by quoting me a very reasonable price and by scheduling me into her calendar. During the time leading up to our appointment she answered all of my questions via email, and she even worked on the design I had told her I wanted. Once our appointment finally came, she presented the design I had asked her to do, and it was absolutely perfect! During the process she conversed with us in a friendly manner. Just visited on the 5th of December, went in for nipple piercings with their piercer Patrick. OMG i am in love with this shop! Very clean and professional. They are definitely taking precautions for the current covid crisis. Lots of jewelry to chose from. Multiple rooms for tats and such. Patrick is not only awesome eye candy but he explained everything with such detail without a doubt my fears were eased. I would highly recommend this place. Finding a GEM as this goes a long way. Had a wrist tattoo done today by Alissa K. She was very patient and creative while we were coming up with the final design. While it is brand new, I think it turned out amazing!😁I originally came here many years ago by some friends who recommended it because their tattoos and piercings turned out incredible. I got a piercing done here that a different shop said that they wouldnt do. That was also a pleasant experience. Its always very clean and a laid-back atmosphere. Ive only ever seen good results at bound by design.

The place is really clean and their jewelry selection is of GREAT quality metals, beautifully displayed and reasonably priced. I suggest making appointments with the artists, because walk-ins can take a long time! Mandy is an amazing tattooer and such a chill gal.
