The alternator on my Honda suddenly went out last week, which resulted in my car suddenly driving very slowly and then dying as the battery had been completely drained. I was able to get to an O-Reillys at 5pm to test the battery and alternator but it was too late to get work done.I called Heldmanns the next morning on OReillys recommendation and was so impressed with Clays service. I had planned to have the car towed to his shop because the battery was not able to sufficiently charge the car. Instead, he offered to come to my house to pick up the key, go get the car from OReillys and use his battery pack charger to help get it down the street to his shop.He worked us into his schedule that day, brought the car to me when he was done and charged an incredibly fair price for his labor with no upcharge on the part. I never even had to leave the house, which was incredibly helpful since I had my two young daughters with me!Im glad to know we have such a fair and helpful neighborhood mechanic right around the corner!
