Good work. I was very pleased with Autobody of Denton. I had them replace a handbrake for me, and they did a good job. They also had great customer service. They were friendly and polite, and great with communicating with me. I will definitely be going back to them.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! DO NOT LET ANY INSURANCE COMPANY SEND YOU HERE!!! The absolute worst place to get your car fixed. I was in an accident that was not my fault. Other drivers insurance, Travelers, sent me here after 2 other body shops would not accept a vehicle from Travelers (and now I see why). When I turned in the vehicle, I went over all of my concerns with MARK. He assured me they would be taken care of. Very long story short... they fixed cosmetic damage but not internal damage. The claim they sent to the adjusters did not include the full scope of the problems I addressed. When I called the next day after I picked up my vehicle to let Mark know it was not completely fixed, he assured me that it would be taken care of. Mark failed to send a supplemental claim and strung me along leading me to believe it would get done but he was waiting to hear from Travelers. After speaking to Travelers many times, they made it clear Mark never sent them any paperwork. When I told Mark this, he called Travelers and told them the problem with the vehicle had nothing to do with the accident, after weeks of him supposedly waiting on a reply! I never asked them for a rental for the 20 days in total they had my vehicle and never asked for any type of reimbursement. I just wanted my vehicle fixed right the first time I left it. I travel a lot and dont have time for things to be half done and go back and forth about it because its a struggle to be available and in town. The adjuster said Mark might have said the damage was not caused by the accident because they would have to pay for the repairs themselves at this point and pay for my rental until its fixed on their dime because that is on their contract with the body shop. So now Im stuck in a loop of having to go through my own insurance to fix this (should have done this in the first place) and now having to get my lawyer to handle the rest. Mark avoided my calls and never called back when he said he would. Luckily I have everything documented so I can proceed accordingly!

I visited for an estimate after my truck was hit. Walked in, was attended to quickly. They had me fill out some paperwork then proceeded to perform the estimate. They were thorough and clear. Very courteous will definitely visit them for my repairs. They seem to have a lot of positive reviews

We had to come to this body shop because of the insurance that was taking care of our claim and they did an absolute beautiful job on our car. Would recommend to anyone that I know for sure! Very nice people, they called me with updates about my car and had it done on the day that they told me from the beginning. Extremely satisfied. Kyle is the one that took care of us and he was amazing and helpful with the whole process.

I was in a fender bender and this was the location my insurance chose for me to go to. The staff was incredibly nice and patient with me because I kept forgetting to bring my car in and have a very weird work/school schedule in general. Got the part I needed very quickly. I mentioned offhand that I would be walking to pick up my car, and they immediately said wait, hang on, well send someone to come get you. Im incredibly grateful for that, and everyone Ive spoken to there is just very friendly and easygoing (I get nervous in auto shops, I dont really know what Im doing and my car is kinda dirty). Overall great experience, would highly consider switching to them instead of my usual mechanic.

Great experience! Was in a wreck, completely the other driver’s fault so I wasn’t thrilled to begin with.This shop had my rental car called and ready when I arrived, dealt with the liable party’s insurance, finished a day early, and my car looks like new. They took a huge hassle of a situation and made it okay. I would definitely return for body work to be done there but I’m hoping there are no more accidents in our future!

Had the front bumper, back bumper, splash guard and passenger door fix. I didnt really push for quickness because I want it to be done right. After a week and a half later. They called and said it was done. I expected nothing but car straight out of dealer quality as the guy from the front stated. But right when I arrived I noticed the splash guard didnt even got ordered and replace. The old one still hanging just like before, which is a very disappointing sight to see. The other repairs look decent. I do see minor fixes (gap or scuffs) but nothing too noticeable. I had to go home and repair the old splash guard myself because Im not going to waste my Uber money there for no car and have to come back again some other day. Had they offer a discount for the mistakes Ill probably take them, but I wasnt really happy when I saw my splash guard leave hanging like that without a single person raised a question.

Amazing work. Gave me a quote and they stuck to it. Had to keep calling them to make sure we could salvage parts, which it did so it brought it down a bit. They were honest and did the work in a timely manner. One thing I would change is they should ask the customer to check the job they did first before wanting to charge them, I had to be the one to tell them I wanted to check it before I could give them the payment. Overall, amazing people and work

Well, I took my vehicle to get repaired after a wreck... Hassle doesnt even begin to describe what this has been.. Had to take it back because of a bad alignment job they did.. got it back the 2nd time today and they put 3 large scratches on the passenger side of my car... They werent there when I dropped it off.. My insurance company said, take it back again.. but really, it gets worse every time I get it back from them!! Im afraid of what will be done to it when I get it back a 3rd time!! Brand new car, less than 12K miles.. Go somewhere else and save yourself so much time and headache!!

Absolute freaking worst . Quoted me 3 day turn around and it took a month. They tried to patch the dent with thick bondo to save money instead of replace the quarter panel as discussed and months later come to find out they didnt reconnect the ground for the trailer hookup and had broken the tail light clip. Avoid at all cost.

Before I start off, Id like to say that Im usually a very understanding person and like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but in this situation I believe there is a lot to be made up on their professional side of the business.To begin, when I got in a wreck I had no idea what auto-body places to go to in Denton. I asked for recommendations from friends who had lived here for years and searched for reviews online. The place I was recommended to by my insurance was Caliber Auto-body but read mediocre reviews online. So after a long while of searching I found Auto-body of Denton. Reviews ranged from the staff being friendly and the staff calling you to keep you up to date with the status on your car. My overall first impression was good, the man who helped me was nice and professional, gave me an estimate at about one and a half-two weeks on the repair. I had noted to him however that the center console lights did not work (had also done previous research on forums of people saying it could be a bad fuse) and he said hed make a note of it to be repaired. I was bias in my opinion that they would call me because of previous reviews, but is completely understandable as to how busy places like this can get, and heard no response so I called them up to see what the status was and they said it would be finished within a few days. I come in to pick up my car and it looks great at first glance and was ecstatic to see my car in great condition again. However, I didnt notice that the console lights werent working because it was bright out, and this was my fault for not checking. Later that night I also found that the bumper (where the car had been hit) was protruding, the rear lights werent working, and that the bulb they had replaced was of the wrong color. Of course again it was my fault as I was in a hurry to get to work and hadnt checked the lights/bumper thoroughly enough, but I do believe they shouldve at least checked to see if it was the right bulb. I bring the car back and tell them the problems, and they happily fix it within about 5-10 minutes. A few days later I noticed that the front bumper started protruding again and wasnt flush with the rest of the car. Turns out all they did instead of actually fixing the problem was just push the bumper in physically. Brought it back again and this time they mentioned the air flap was missing a screw and wasnt staying in properly, so they added in a screw. Sure enough the bumper stayed in for a little less than a week. Again, the bumper started sticking out. Brought it in again and told them the situation and they looked into it a little more, and found that it was a faulty bumper that had been sent in from the company and had to be replaced by a new one. Had to wait for another couple of weeks for the bumper to come in and was assured I would be called/notified when it came in. Again I wasnt notified. Eventually they fixed it, and since then the bumper stays in place.My main problem was I felt like I was a number to them rather than a valued customer. Anytime I went in there they tried to get me out as soon as they could so they could rush on to the next person. Not only was the bulb the wrong color, lights (inside console and tail lights) werent working, and bumper sticking out but they never took they time to actually identify the problem with the bumper. Again part of it was my fault initially because of course I shouldve checked to make sure everything was in check, but for some reason I was felt assured that they wouldve done quality work and made sure everything was in proper working condition.In the end, I feel like you shouldnt have to go to a place 3-5 times like I did. Maybe this was a one time customer experience among others, but I will never recommend this place unless something changes.

I have been going to Autobody of Denton since 1996. The owner, Mark, has worked on all of my vehicles, ranging from Ram trucks to my M6 BMW. I moved out of Denton 10 years ago and I still return to Autobody of Denton when I am in need of repairs. They have always done a great job.

Absolutely the best service Ive received at an autobody shop ever. The quality of work was was great and so was the delivery process . I mentioned to them that one of my rear back up sensors was not working and to give me a quote for repair, when I picked up my vehicle at my surprise they fixed backup sensor at no additional cost. Thats what I call going the extra mile to ensure future business. I will from now on recommend all family and friends to this shop. They have earned a customer for life. This place seems nice because they tell you things like Dont worry, Ill take care of you as if I was fixing up my own daughters car, but DONT BE FOOLED!!! I wrecked and was out of a car for one week only to find out that the person who worked on my car put a SEVERELY bent tire BACK ON my car. I was stopped 3 times in one day by people who were scared for my wellbeing!! Not only that, but my car still had problems when I got it back the second time even though he promised to take a look at the sound that car was making. I decided to bite the bullet and take my car to the dealership even though they tend to be more expensive. I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS FROM THE BEGINNING! I have had countless other problems with my car, and keep having to put money towards things that should have been fixed by CARSTAR in the first place!!!

The only reason I had to go to Carstar was because I was involved in a minor accident on November 26th. The jerk who hit me blamed it on me but after talking to his insurance company and filing a claim they found he was 100% at fault. I dropped off my car at Carstar in Denton and I waited for my rental from Hertz which took longer than expected only because they did not answer the phone when I tried to call to let them know I was on my way to Carstar. The staff at Carstar were very friendly and were helpful to help get this process as smooth as possible. Will have to wait to see if I will get my car back in the time frame they quoted me. Either way more to come on how well they follow up and get things done.

I have never been so dissatisfied in the quality of workmanship as I was with this company. We dropped of our 2006 Mustang GT with left fender damaged and cracked paint on the bumper. We also paid to have the front bumper repainted. Went to pick up the car and the bumper was not aligned, the body panels were attached with 3M tape that was falling off, the front bumper was only resprayed (showing every rock chip still), both bumper covers were overly tightened and the mounting brackets were pushing through the cover causing the brand new paint to spider web, the rear bumper diffuser was damaged and now severely spotted from something damaging the black paint and the side rocker had massive scratches in it from not being taken care of while it was off the car.We returned with the car and Rick was very apologetic and told us they would get right on it. He made us feel they were going to make it right. We were wrong, 5 weeks and 3 days later, the rear bumper is still not aligned (I can put my pinkie in the gap, the body panels are now attached with liquid goo of some kind that is bubbling, the rear diffuser is worse (I am assuming it is the painters tape being left on for too long), there are additional screws drilled in from the underside of the diffuser (very visible screws that do not belong on the car), the front bumper was not looked at and they added a door ding.While pointing all of these things out to Rick (because the owner, Mark Riney passed us off to him) he proceeds to tell us that they cant align the bumper because it came to them with wood screws. First of all, this car was built by Heritage Customs and has the AJ Foyt Coyote body kit, so I find that VERY hard to believe, but lets say for kicks it did have wood screws in it... We paid them almost $2000, the least they could have done was picked up a phone to let us know, Hey your car has wood screws in it, we might need to go to Ace Hardware and pick up some the right kind of screws so we can fix it like you paid us to do. Instead they chose to hope we didnt notice, or just didnt care.They agreed they caused the damage on the rear diffuser when we brought it back, but this time, well they just dont see how that could of happened.Dont take your chances on this shop! Not only did they not do what they were paid to do, they caused additional damage and the lack of professionalism and take responsibility attitude you should be able to expect from a company is the exact opposite.Feel free to review the photos I posted to their Google+ page.

My car had a severe hail damage. The back windshield was broken and the interior was exposed to heavy rain for 20 min which damaged the headliner and sunroof wire connections. Then after 10 weeks of holding my car in one of the worst body shops (Autobody of Denton) recommended by StateFarm. they delivered the car without fixing the headliner and sunroof. When I called and complained they said they are not directly damaged by the hail so StateFarm doesnt caver that. So they gave me the car with an open sunroof !!!!!!! The body shop also broke one of my sunvisors and didnt take responsibility for that.....Watch out the insurance company and the body shop you choose.
