SO amazing! What a sweet surprise!! Decided to meet my brother here for a coffee and it was divine! I got the Cocoa before Chanel Iced Latte with Oat milk. It was delicious! It was cocoa and espresso and Im in love. The staff was so so kind and helpful! Very knowledgeable. Epic has tons of coffee and tea options. A variety of syrups and drink options. I would highly recommend this local shop! I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and the coffee is excellent. Quality beans and the espresso flavor really stands out. Ive lived close to this place for a long time and just never stepped on, but that will definitely have to be a more common thing. They have a very creative and varied menu as well. The staff were also very kind and helped my wife found something she really liked. The baked goods also look tasty and I plan to try them at some point as well.

Cocoa Before Chanel is AMAZING. I drive all the way from New Carlisle just to get this drink. I have yet to try anything else because I can’t get over how amazing this is. 😍🤤❤️They are also super nice and genuine people that work/own the shoppe so that’s also a +++.

We were looking for a coffee shop in a town we didnt know and happened on this one. The name did not mislead. While we waited for our order(hard to choose between so many offerings) their decor was eye candy! In the end I had to buy one of their cups to remember them by. And the coffee was phenomenal!

This place is Awesome. 1/2 the price than that StarB###s Place. Hot Coffee, Cold..coffee not your thing they have tea, & pop. Bring the kids they sell Ice Cream too. Everything is Delicious. Definitely stop by & try it out.

Epic’s environment is chic yet cozy. If you’re getting work done or meeting with a friend, this shoppe is the perfect venue. You can always expect a plethora of fine pastries and treats, as well as world class crafted drinks - including the best affogato! But the staff is the reason why you come back everytime. It is a husband and wife run shoppe, who make the place feel so warm and inviting. Highly recommended.

Loved EPIC coffee! Its bigger than it looks from the street; great atmosphere. Great selection of drinks - kind of pricey, but delicious. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain drinks. Not much in regards to food - some pastries and toast. They also have ice cream!

Fun to have a new local coffee shop in the area! Its a great spot to hang out, do work, or meet up with friends. Lots of good seating and varied coffee & tea options. Theyve got a good offering of food and ice cream, too! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the space and the menu.

Delicious drinks and pastries. I loved the Bear Claw latte. The honey, cinnamon, and vanilla is just too good of a combo for a nice crisp spring morning.

Fantastic coffee shop that stands out among the rest. They have a wide variety of menu items and the only place in the area (that I know of) that offers a chai milkshake! And yes its as yummy as it sounds.They also have a variety of chai too, including the spicy chai latte which is quite possibly the best one Ive had recently. Even though its a bit of a drive for me being on the eastern end of town, its worth a once or twice a week trip for sure.

I was in the area picking up Chinese food and noticed this cute little shop next door. The owners were inside and noticed me gawking from outside and invited me in. They weren’t officially open yet, but they gave me a taste of their lovely product. Thank you so much to theowners, Bryan and Laura. I recommend the mint tea! Their fancy French pastry was the bomb! Can’t wait to come back and see what else they have in store.

Lovely mocha and wonderful to sit and drink slowly from a mug. Large space and great light through the windows. Nice coffee cake and they even had one vegan and gluten free cookie to pick (could use more vegan goodies, but they did have a large range of gluten free). Lunch looked nice, but we were there mainly for coffee. Parking is a bit tight, had to park along back.

Outstanding, worth going a little out of your way for. You wont miss Starbucks or Dunkin after you come here, but you might have trouble going back to them. They put a lot of care into the selection and preparation of their drinks and they were happy to let me sample the daily brew.

With the name Epic; there is a lot to be expected and they surpass that standard with flying colors. Without a doubt the best coffee in Dayton.

What a lovely coffee shop! Super cute and cozy and great coffee! It has a cute gift selection in addition to the coffee! Really broad selection of delicious pastries. It got really busy this Sat afternoon. So got my chai and coffee to go. There was also some really yummy looking ice cream. I’ll have to go back to try that. There was some customers who got some and it came with a really cute little cookie that came with it! Just loved it!

The environment in this place is spectacular and great for sitting around to chat! The coffee options are flavorful and the avocado toast is a must have. I would rate it an 8 out of 5 for sure!

I wanted to like it, the inside is really beautiful and so well done, but...my friends and I really just did not like the coffee itself. It just didnt taste good.It was super expensive too. One of our orders was $7 for one medium. I understand extra for coconut milk, I suppose, but $7 was literally hard to swallow.

Wow, What a Coffee Shoppe! I happened to be in Dayton for a class and was on my way to get breakfast and spotted this place on the corner. I am so glad I turned around and visited this place. It is well lit. Smells great and is visually pleasing. It is very clean looking. The menu is great. French toast, Monte Cristo and Avocado Toast to name a couple of breakfast items. They also have a charcuterie plate and a great selection of sandwiches. The beverage list is extensive. From espresso drinks to Italian sodas. The Belgian Eye Scream is a great way to start your day. Ice cream. Selection is fine too. This is a wonderful place and I would like to have one closer to me in Cincinnati. I will definitely be back to dine here.

Love this coffee shop! The Dulce de Leche French Toast was amazing and the coffee tasted great! Quiet, relaxing atmosphere...great for hanging out with a friend or working away from the office.

My girlfriend and I just tried this place for the first time and it was awesome! I got an iced espresso drink and she got a hot one. The flavor of both was excellent and the young lady that helped us was extremely personable and knowledgeable. She even walked our drinks over to use while we were exploring the shop. Also, the atmosphere is both fun and classy. It felt comfortable while still being fun. Overall a great place that I would highly recommend trying.

Beautiful place to get good coffee, chat, and enjoy a cozy atmosphere. The decor is beautiful. They have many different syrups and flavorings, can make drinks with oat milk/alternative milks, and have Good snack/pastry/food options as well. Most importantly, the service is amazing and they are very welcoming.

Comfortable, lively atmosphere. There is a lot of communal seating. Great place for conversation. May be a little loud for the people who study with minimal noise. Espresso was a little bitter, but they have many options to choose from. Would recommend checking it out

Oh man i love this place. Everyone is suuuuuper friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee. The roaster they get their coffee from in Cincinnati is awesome. It is a little pricey, but the quality is definitely there. If you really love coffee this is the spot for you!

I stopped in the other day and it was a nice little place. Good coffee but they have a limited amount of sugar free syrups and no coffee roasted with flavors. Friendly staff and good service. Since they have just opened up they are going to be expanding both their sugar free syrups and baked goods. They also have ice cream. Nice little place!

I tend to be more motivated to write negative reviews BUT I am so very impressed with this place! Im really looking forward to spending more time there. Talk about fantastic atmosphere! Great coffee. Great food. The staff is very friendly and hard working. Also very important; its kept very clean.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Its locally owned and supports the local community. They have a book reading club for kids, live music nights, and have items and food from small businesses. Not to mention, the interior design is excellent. The shop is very clean and is pretty quiet. Great ace to study!They have a great selection of coffee and various snacks / food options. The food is made to order and can take some time. Just an FYI, EVERYTHING (aside from regular coffee) is made to order, so you will likely have to wait several minutes for your order.Not to mention, everything is DELICIOUS.

This coffee shop is great! My sister and I loved the decor, which even carried into the bathroom. We both got a Belgian Eye Scream and would highly recommend it. She got hers with blueberry muffin ice cream and mine was with cookie dough ice cream. While both were great, mine was better ;)

I have only gotten pour-overs (uniquely done in a filibuster decanter) from different regions of which they have a great selection. I cannot speak for the espresso drinks, but they certainly know how to use their filibusters, so I would imagine they are equal in quality. Great presentation as well. Only downside is theres not a whole lot of parking at the shop, but you can certainly park near town and country and walk over or on the street. The menu on the website does not show all of the food they now offer (which looks pretty good)

Im a little picky about my coffee and pastries and I am happy to say that this place is excellent! Been there twice so far (before the stay-at-home order) and got Americanos (Deeper Roots coffee) both times and an assortment of pastries. My friends got ice cream (not sure the brand, but he loved it), hot chocolate, and a latte. All well received. Ill be back with my wife when the stay-at-home order is lifted!Edit: forgot to add, parking is terrible! Large vehicles beware! Still totally worth a walk, if the situation calls for it.

Lovely place. Coffee usually tastes fresh and flavorful. About every 5th time it seems sour and exposed to too much oxygen/old. Nice patio facing away from the street. The music is too loud for my tastes. Overall, much nicer than Starbucks and I recommend it to my friends.

This place is perfect. Theyve nailed every detail, menu, decor, merchandise, service, and of course the coffee is the star. This is Third wave Coffee at its best. Bravo, to whomever is responsible for this creation.

I cant say enough good stuff about this shop! Their friendly staff has helped educate me about the different coffees and how to brew at home. I have ditched my coffeemaker at home. I now either make their coffee (pour-over) at home or stop in the mornings to catch the daily brew. I love tasting the different brews. Also, the place is very inviting to stay and hang out. What a treat to have them in Kettering!

They make the best coffee I’ve had in the Dayton area, and the seating inside is very comfortable. The owner and baristas are also very friendly and accommodating and Id recommend Epic coffee to anyone.

Great atmosphere. Elegant but cozy. Wonderful selection of pour over coffees - over 10 options! A bit pricey per pour over ($5-7) but they ethically source so it is worth it. The daily cup rotates a single origin brew which is very reasonably priced. Ill be coming back!

I had seen this place as I was working taking a delivery right behind this place and never had the time to look inside. Tell my friend wanted Starbucks and I told here I found a new place that looks like two of my old cafes I used to go to tell the one closed down and the other turned into a kids play ground and band room. But I will admit I was nerves to walk in thinking it would be a place I wouldnt like , like the others but i was so wrong the first step I was a kid in a candy store it had been so long to fined a place to get tea, coffee or a sandwich even to get inspiration for my book witch is really nice even there symbol reminds me of the olden days. This place and the owner is so nice I love it here and the coffee is the best I ever had never going to another place for coffee but here. My Christmas wish came true and early this year thank you.

Check out lady was polite and patient. The coffee was good. The variety was different compared to other coffee shops. The employee that came out of the guys restroom and just let the door slam was not very polite

Coffee tasted really bad! My partner and I have a lot of experience in coffee and the espresso here tasted extremely acidic and bitter. We couldn’t finish our espresso drinks. On the plus side the atmosphere and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our barista kindly gave us both a drip coffee. Unfortunately the drip coffee was old and barely tasted like coffee. Won’t be returning here.

I love their matcha lattes and the baked goods are always tasty, no matter which one I buy. The staff have all been extremely helpful and pleasant each visit. I wish they could double the size of their shop but they have made extraordinarily good use of the space they dwell.

I watched my order get ring up and the oat milk cost $1.50. I think that was ridiculous for non dairy milk. Also, the chai tea had a very strong ginger taste. I didnt even finish it because I didnt like it.
