Super nice owners. They close early so do not be late. Closed on Sunday. Wide variety of coffee available including pour over. The pastries are also very good. Small space but plenty of seats and nicely decorated.

Stopped by Saturday for two caramel lattes and loved them. The place is also beautiful ☺️

My family and I stopped by here just before a hike at White Rock. The atmosphere was fresh and inviting; the coffee was delicious. They also have an assortment of vegan and gluten free pastries. I’m looking forward to coming back to do some work.

Outstanding coffee and menu items. The horchata coffee is particularly enjoyable. The savory pastries (empanadas and quiche) haven’t failed me in being satisfying after multiple visits. The the shop itself is very nice and a recommendable place to get work done.

I didnt fancy myself a coffee drinker, but after having what I now know is good coffee, I have been converted. El Porton has a great selection of truly tasty coffee straight from the brew to fun and inventive drink concoctions with a story behind each bag, cup, and sip. The Owners are a sweet couple that come from a long generation of coffee producers from El Salvador. I dont feel intimidated to not understand coffee because of them and their staff they like to educate you about coffee and all I can say is mind-blown. They also have a great conference room to use for free - great for group gatherings, business meetings or you just need a quiet big space to work. Thank you Bruno and Isa for opening El Porton Coffee its a great addition to Casa Linda Plaza.

I had been meaning to stop by, and finally got to. I enjoyed every bit, very nice people. I had the Lavender Latte and spinach quiche.

A very nice and friendly place but service is super s-l-o-w. Only 1 working there. Come only if you have plenty of time to wait for your cup of coffee. Please hire another to speed things up. It took 12 min for my coffee.I just got a reply from El Porton and appreciate that. I do my best to support local businesses. I stopped in for coffee around 9:30 - after the morning caffeine rush.

Just checked this place out with my Girlfriend, who happens to be El Salvadorian! They have great coffee and a really nice atmosphere. The baristas were hospitable and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend El Portón. They opened up in September 2020, so they are fairly new.

I came here yesterday for the first time, had such a good and welcoming experience, the girl who helped me had super cute curly hair, she made my drink so well. Went back today and unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience as yesterday the vibe felt off and my drink had to be remade and it didn’t taste the same as yesterday. I think it was the love that was missing...😔😔 I’ll be back hoping to see the cute curly haired girl☺️

This was close to almost the worst coffee shop I have attended in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Not only do the employees not know anything about coffee (seeming the owners as well), but the service was unwelcoming and rude. If you want to go somewhere to experience GOOD Dallas coffee and has the spirit of the city, this is NOT the place to go.
