I’m pretty old-fashioned , but if a clerk asks me if I want my bagels sliced, I expect them to be sliced. I have a tendency to eat a cranberry bottom bagel on the way home, but if they’re not sliced, I am s$&@ out of luck. Otherwise, I’m so glad Einstein’s brought back cranberry bagels!By the way, in New York City the number one ER injury is from cutting a bagel!

I went at about 12pm and it was not busy but I could tell there had been a crowd prior to my entrance. There was a new hire working the cash register and couldnt hear what I was saying very well (mask and kitchen noises) but did his best to serve me. He was great and I can tell his miss-steps during the order process were lack of skill not lack of competence. They ended up not having the bagels I wanted but the manager worked with me to make sure I got what I was due. All in all cant wait to go back

Just had an awful experience at this location. The woman making coffee was very slow and rude. I ordered a small iced latte and it is literally just milk in a cup with ice. I have never had such a bad experience. In addition, my friend ordered a latte with vanilla and she did not add it. When my friend went to tell her she was rude and said my friend had to pay an additional $0.80 even though she has already paid. She then refused to add the vanilla and proceeded my make my friend the pour the vanilla in herself. I would not recommend.

The staff was definitely not excited about their choice of employment. The cashier had some snarky remarks and after I ordered the avocado toast her and her coworkers went on about how much they didnt like the avocado toast and how off it tasted. We were excited to find Einstein in TX because we dont have any where we live, but that was a terrible experience.

Probably one of the worst Einstein bros I’ve been to. My bagel was burned, barely any smear. The workers were very nice however and quick, just wish I had gotten what I paid for.

Terrible experience here! Was excited to come and get some bagels to take home, I ordered the half dozen box, I wanted all plain but the guy helping me said they only had 3 left which I said was fine and chose chocolate. We waited for over 15 minutes and everyone who ordered after us go their orders. I then asked one of the guys what was going on with my order and it like they completely skipped us and forgot about our order. The manager was rude and as we were waiting a guys order was ready and he couldn’t hear her calling him so after she gave him his order she gestured throwing his order at him. Got my refund and left. Never going back to this location again! The staff needs to do better!

Staff is barely friendly. Its messy behind the service counter. Bagels taste awesome though. Inventory of bagels are quite low around 1030am... Guess I have to come earlier.

I ordered my food spent $11 which is not difficult. But 4 people who came after me got their food first. They made the 2 black people wait.They have no chairs for people waiting. She did bring it to the car.Revised: When I got home I started to eat my bagel, something was a miss. It looked like they had put cream cheese on my bagel which I didnt ask for but I was like oh well. This lady got mad at me and put a stick of butter on my bagel it was so thick it looked like cream cheese. I expect more! This is crazy.

We didn’t realize the store was closing soon when we arrived but the manager was very rude when I asked if we ordered were the blueberry bagels the only option. She spent 5 minutes explaining how they close in like 20 minutes and had already made bagels twice today. I had to look at the menu again because everything was bagels but uhm ok. My bf decided against anything and I ordered the turkey egg and cheddar on the last French toast bagel left. Let’s just say it was definitely closing time and this bagel must have come from the first batch they baked today and the sausage was still cold. Thanks for a wonderful first experience I will definitely think twice before visiting even another location.

I come here a few times a year for lunch because it’s the closest Einstein’s to my house. Then I remember why I don’t. It’s 12:45, this place is open until 3pm but the staff CLEARLY has no interest in serving lunch. Every time I’m here for lunch, they are sold out of 90% of their bagels, and 100% of the time, sold out of Everything bagels. I’ve seen 3 people so far walk in and walk out after they realize there are few choices available. They have shut down the larger dining area and all that’s left is an area with a few tables, covered in trash and food spills. There are at least a dozen flies buzzing around us because the staff can’t be bothered to clean the 4 tables they have available. The other locations around town seem to be ok with offering lunch and somehow remaining profitable. I encourage area mgmt to take a stroll thru this place anytime after 1pm and see that all this location cares about us getting outta here the moment it is 2:59:59pm. Either the GM of this location doesn’t care about P&L management or leaves at 10am everyday and is oblivious to the disappointment that is being baked up hot and fresh daily for your lunchtime guests.UPDATE: 10:20AM on 11/2 and nearly out of all bagels. I don’t know why I come here. Clearly posting this review did nothing to make a difference.

Really good Bagels and your whip cream cheese is awesome

Well first this place is dirty. Newspapers everywhere and the back counter with all that microwaved food laying around just looked... not fresh. I ordered a bagel sandwich and paid. Then was told they didn’t have my bagel (because you go there for a specific type of bagel, right?) I had to pick between the 3-4 flavors they had left. I said that I wish they had told me prior to me paying because I would have just left. I didn’t really like them so I just asked for my money back. The girl behind the counter practically slammed the bagel basket she had in her hand back into place. Not sure if this was an accident or if she was just really irritated with me. Refunded me and refused to speak. At all. I asked her if I needed to sign or do anything else and she just refused to speak to me. Go to Bennys.

They have one label on their bagels! Apparently everything is a Chelsey Hash Brown.

Bagels were great the service was great the only issue we had was my husband took a drink of his coffee and it was full of grounds at the bottom of the cup.

My bagel and cream cheese did not have much cream cheese. It was rather disappointing.Today Sunday May 30 stopped to get breakfast. A few issues. This place seems to not have their act together. My food order was done very quickly however I also ordered a chocolate milk. The person behind the registers started making other peoples breakfast I waited 5 minutes and he turns around and says to me is there something else you need I said yes Im waiting for my chocolate milk. I chocolate milk was not that great. However, I get home my bagel was supposed to have extra schmer on there with the cream cheese. I got home there was hardly any cream cheese on my bagel. Its so frustrating that they cant get a simple order correct. I would think twice before stopping here.

Only a few times do I give a place (especially a chain) the 5 star rating....but it is well deserved!!! Hundreds of people, some not familiar with the menu, and you are in and out faster then it takes to park..... the crew is friendly, courteous and crazily efficient!. Talk about a technique called 6 sigma.... quite possibly they may be right at that level...

Avoid this place if you like your hard earned money. They have staff that is not trained to make you anything. I ordered cappuccino, hoping that i would get a decent drink just like in Starbucks, since the price is almost the same. This kid kept apologizing and apologizing. Why would the Einstein Bros. Bagels employee not know how to make a cappuccino??? I was so mad since I already [paid and I left. Oh, and that new bagel burrito tasted like chewing on a rubber, it ended up in garbage! I am done with Einstein Bagels!

All was good. I enjoyed the food. It seems to be a popular place for local workers to go to get breakfast and lunch. When I went it was pretty busy. The workers there did a good job of getting everything out fast. I would say a few of the workers might have been a little blunt but the woman working the register was fantastic. All in all a solid place!

Very unorganized location. Every time I come they are out of something (everything bagels, vanilla hazelnut coffee, hash browns). It’s almost an expectation they have run out of something and not replaced it within a timely manner.

This is a must stop whenever we go to Dallas. The neighborhood is a little rough, but the food is always hot and delicious. I have rarely ever tried anything but their bagels, and they have always been fresh and tasty. The crowd is rather eclectic, and you will enjoy the atmosphere.

Messed up over half of my DoorDash order missing items and food made wrong, DoorDash thankfully came in clutch and was able to refund me for everything. If you want disappointment for your morning munchies then this is the place to get! :)

In the past the flow from rt to left was more helpful. Not sure what was going on this morning but the staff more or less ignored me for over minute until finally the girl at the Left register called me down to weight on my. Food was perfect. One other thing, why is the food prep and ordering area so dark. I miss the bright well lit atmosphere from previous trips here.

Best cranberry bottom bagel!

Used to love this spot, but it seems to have gone downhill. I went today and there was a fly flying around the entire bottom shelf of bagels. I notified the person taking orders and he notified someone who appeared to be a manager. They took the bagels out from that shelf but continued selling them instead of throwing them out. It also just generally wasn’t as clean as it used to be.

Delicious bagels of all kinds. I consider it a fast food spot, and thats not a negative. Great for a morning stop. The atmosphere is OK. There is a newspaper waiting for you as you wait for your order. Cold brew is inferior to Starbucks. I would not get black coffee there again. The flavored coffee is just fine though. All in all, superb service, great prices and tasty products. Recommend!

Food is great. Weve ordered from here 2 times in the last couple weeks. We love their bagels so we get some for the week. The first time they missed the shmear tub, I thought it was a fluke. 2nd time we ordered the same thing happened. Missing a total of 3 tubs, so about $15 worth of product.

The everything bagel always delicious BUT i like my bagel extra crispy no dice not this visit.The cashier promptly took our oder cant want for automated robots to take over maybe well get a greeting.And we asked for 1 coffee and we got charged for two.

I come here all the time for a high calorie breakfast before lifting. Its got a good selection of breakfast sandwiches and a wide variety of bagels. Some of the staff even remember me by my name - which is always nice. The coffee isnt exactly specialty grade but I drink it almost every time and love it. This place would best be described as consistent, reliable, and fast when you need to get breakfast on the go.

Sain, runs a great op here. I absolutely love this location. They greet you by name once they get to know you. They are fast, courteous. Yes we all have our days, but they run a tight good shift here, well at least the weekday morning crew. The weekend crew is a whole other story.

Great bagels always. Some days I go in its not super busy and other days its really busy. They always are making fresh bagels as fast as they can!My only small complaint is that Some of the employees could learn to smile and be friendly with customers. They dont even say hi or barely look at you, they just ask your order. :/

I just want to take a moment out to praise John, I believe he’s the manager. He was wearing a red shirt today but anyway every time I go in there he’s always calm, cool and collected. Even rude guests come in, which I witnessed today, was very respectful. This morning there was a mix up with my order, he made sure it was taken care of efficiently and as quick as possible.Also the lady who cashed me out, there was a customer who was being very rude to her from what I could tell, and I was up next. Order a avocado tomato and egg white sandwich on a green Chile bagel...I was later told they were out of that bagel so I substituted a spinach florentine. I was running late so I took the bag I was handed and left. Well upon opening the bag I realized I was given a plain bagel. In addition this was the furthest thing from a the picture I have EVER seen in a restaurant. The ingredient ratio was so off its not even funny. My guess 1 whole avocado a corner of a egg white 1 piece of bacon and no tomato sauce. To top it all off it was served cold. Horrible experience!!!

I really wish the lady toasting the bagels wasn’t eating one at the toaster oven. And they got my order wrong so I had to come back. Then they just wanted to swap out a couple of bagels instead of doing what they told me they were going to do over the phone. I spent a total 1 hour driving there and back 2 times for attitude. Blows.

I’ve only been in the morning to lunch time hours but the crew is loud and boisterous. I saw a cashier give another worker the middle finger. The head cashier or day time “manager” specifically gave me the wrong order after she was told what I ordered was not available in the store. They handed me my bag as if I wasn’t standing inches away from them listening to them say that what ordered was not what I was about to get. I think at this point companies are hiring anyone.

Good service although process improvements could be implemented to increase throughput during busy times. Food comes out promptly and I’ve never had my order “messed up.” I will say that Beardance and other groups meet there regularly and take up A LOT of table space, which makes it hard to find a quiet spot to eat at times.

Although theres always a line on Sunday mornings, it does move quickly. The bagels are fresh. Sometimes they run out of the everything bagel. The coffee is good.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I love Einstein’s, but this location is ran so poorly. They are constantly out of bagels and coffee. Which is weird for a bagel and coffee shop.. The employees never know what’s going on and have given me the wrong order every single time I have visited. I really wish to see some improvements made.

I really like the bagels and find them to be as good as the older bagel places in the area. Coffee is good too. My favorite are the jalapeños bagels with cream cheese, always one of my first and last stops when we visit from out of town.

Chain restaurant on Lemmon Avenue popular in the mornings, especially the weekends. Early morning singles and couples read the paper and have coffee and bagels. Mix of guys from the Oak Lawn gayborhood, Uptown couples, and post workout crowds. Some families with kids as well as seniors. Very busy so expect a line on weekend mornings and managed chaos. Staff is friendly and service is fast so long as you know what you want-- (Type of bagel, type of cream cheese, toasted or not, for here or to go, your name. Use a simple name if its not).Inside seating and limited outside seating available. Self serve beverages/coffee. Adequate parking most of the time, otherwise street parking. Seasonal muffins and bagels. Various egg & bagel sandwiches and of course lox and bagels. Regular and lite cream cheese choices.Listen for your name when your order is ready and go get it. Remember if you shortened it. See above. Dont be the person who everybody knows your name because they heard it a dozen times while you were on the phone and werent paying attention. If you have a large order or office party, you can order online and set a pick up time because nobody wants to be in line behind that person.

Usually a long line and its hard to find parking in the mornings. Multiple times I have seen cars back into one another because the parking lot isnt large. On the off chance you go after morning rush theres plenty of parking. Staff inside are pleasant but nothing over the top worthy of praise. Bagels and coffee however are wonderful.

Some of the friendliest staff in Dallas works here. Honestly, the customers could be nicer. The last time I was here, the person behind me cut to the front and ordered very rudely... not sure this is common in this neighborhood, but it seemed other customers were smug as well because they had to wait about 3 minutes to order because there was a small line. All that matters was the bagels were fresh and the service was excellent!

I ordered something that I had never tried before, going out on a limb to try new things, and to my tastebuds it was not good. My boyfriend kindly went in to ask if they could make something else, and they did, against policy to give free food out.

Great variety of bagel flavors. Convenient location in a frequently congested area of Uptown, parking lot usually adequate. Relaxing to sip coffee and watch the traffic pass on Lemmon Avenue.

Quick service is always appreciated in the rush hour mornings and my sandwich artisan made me a great tasty turkey bagel!

Used to come to this location all the time but will likely never come back. The new management doesn’t know what they are doing. The new staff are not welcoming, there always seems to be some sort of chaos going on. I’ve let it slide a few times but on today’s visit there seems to be no communication between staff members. It’s been common now to hear staff yelling across the room at each other about whatever issue is going on. Second time I have ordered something and it’s not been available. On my previous visit the back room was dirty and even when a team member came to wipe down the tables he just moved the mess around.

Ugh please teach your staff how to make coffee. I live right near here and the last time I got a coffee it tasted like burnt beans. I decided to go back and try it and got an Iced Latte, it waa not sweet at all so I asked for a pump of vanilla. Well the guy opened the bottle and pours it in...there was no pump or measurement now its grossly sweet!!! The place has the worst coffee ever and I think its bc they dont train their staff. I went for free Bagel day and they hardly put ang cream cheese on it and it waa dry. I hate that I paid even $4 for another terrible coffee that I will prob end up thriwing away AGAIN.

Came to dallas for a 3 day trip, sam took great care of us. So great we came back to back for breakfast.

The servers here were so nice at this location. I had some time to kill before an appointment and stopped in for a bagel dog and a toasted onion bagel and smear. They were both browned to perfection. It made me realize that my normal location isnt so great. Ask for the spicy mustard to go with the bagel dog. Yum!

EVERYBODY IS RUDE! Employees have loud inappropriate conversations on the phone with inappropriate language. The cashier (who I assume is in a manager position) rolled her eyes at everyone who walked in. She had a rude tone in her voice when there are literally two signs at the end of each end of the line that say “order here” and she got rude if you went to the “wrong one”. Absolute disgrace, worst experience ever!

Einstein Bros. Bagels is a nice place for morning coffee and a light breakfast. The one in Dallas was closed so I went to the one on Hammond Drive in Atlanta.

The bagels are amazing. Staff is friendly and stay on top of things as the place is always busy. Wish the dining area was a little bit bigger.

First time I visited the women working was really kind and told be about the special they were having which I knew nothing about. She remembered all the details like asking if Id like bagels sliced, toasted, or a freezer bag to keep the dozen bagels fresh for longer. All the other Einsteins locations were never as helpful.

Not happy with this location. My bagel was completely burned on the edges. Ive been ordering the same bagel for a long time, and today, for first time, they offered me a side that I was supposed to get every time with this order. I dont think Im coming back here.

Went in today and ordered a ham and cheese deli sandwich on a bagel. After 15 minutes and watching others come in behind me and get their meal and leave, I asked the clerk what was up with my order. He mentioned it to one of the cooks and I sat down and waited another 15 minutes. Still no meal, went up to check on my order. Nobody could find my order. I informed the manager I needed a refund as I had to go. She refunded my money minus the drink which I did get. No apology no Im sorry no nothing. I will never try lunch here again. This was my first time.

I usually go the Preston Road location, however, I was closer to this location. There was no curb appeal to this location; it appears shabby.....The interior looked SO DATED!!! The service wasnt great....The staff appeared not too happy to be there and I felt as if I was bothering them. I had a simple order; strawberry cream cheese on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel. Whats really up at this location????

Saltier bagels than I recalled. Somewhat chaotic am service but attentive to my orders and very pleasant staff. Overall a very good experience.
