Wow is all I can say. Really cheap prices. I paid about $4 for an espresso and sugar cookie and they tasted good. Staff is really nice and helpful so thats a plus. Decor wise, its really cute. Everything from the lighting to the seating matches up nice. Would recommend coming back.

Ive come here to work a few times now, and its quickly become one of my favorite places. Whether you like a latte or a cup of black coffee, everything is excellent!  Did I mention they have a Carmello cold brew on tap? The baristas are very kind take great pride in their work. On my work-from-home days, I love coming here since the ambiance starts my day off right!

Let’s start with YES. It’s exactly what I didn’t realize I needed. The coffee reminded me of what I love about international travel. The limited breakfast was tasty. I will be returning!

The coffee was good, atmosphere is cool, but we felt it was pricey. $12.50 for 2 coffees just seems like a lot...and some of our iced drinks had more coffee than others. The servings seem a little inconsistent. But, the flavor of the maple cardamom latte was different, yet tasty!!

Super cute place! i got the caramelo and it was delicious, the baristas were nice too! hope to see some vegan pastries available in the future tho

Tucked away like the little hidden oasis it is, this Smalltown Coffee bar packs a big punch in quality. For my first experience I was very much appreciative of the sights and smells it had to offer. The staff was uniquely helpful and provided a wonderful experience. Great way to start your day and the scones are so scrumptious youd think they are illegal. Keep up the great work, I think youve got some new customers!

Love the vibes! Ordered a cortado and received a sparkling water on the side. Flavor was great and espresso was not burnt or over-extracted. My friend ordered a special drink they featured on the Facebook page, so keep an eye out for off-menu options. Definitely busy beginning around 10 am on weekends, but plenty of street parking is available since the place is located in a more residential area off from the main drag. Check out this local coffee place for a quality coffee experience!

My new favorite coffee place! Drinks are always on point and consistent. My favorite is the Honey Cream Cap. I love that they roast their own beans and that a portion of certain roasts go to different organizations. They also have a coffee subscription for the coffee geeks out there. I appreciate that they really put a focus on taking care of their employees and farmers. The shop itself is beautifully designed. All around a really great coffee shop.

Ambience, design, feel, light, decor, cortado, maple cardamom latte, scone, conversation....all just right. Thrilled to have this open in northwest Indiana. Thanks for thinking things through, for honing coffee craft, and for adding to the region.

I have always been a tea drinker and never drank coffee for almost 60 years. Starting in March 2020 with stay-at-home-to-work in place, your wonderful coffee slipped into my life. My wife who is an online subscriber grinds your aromatic beans every week and the aroma is amazing! I asked for a cup one morning with her freshly made almond milk and I was hooked! Now I look forward to my cup of Smalltown in the morning when I sit town to work or on the weekends! I love the variety of tastes!

They did such an amazing job with the place! So modern, with amazing high end equipment that blends into the workspace for such a luxury experience. Their coffee is really good. Prices are what are expected for this quality. Lots of seating, with amazing natural light pouring through the massive windows. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. I had one of the best cups of coffee of my life at Smalltown. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. This place will definitely be somewhere I stop whenever Im in Crown Point.

Had a pour over coffee and it was delicious. Perfectly balanced and full of flavor. If you have the time, Smalltown knows how to brew you the perfect cup.

I’ve ordered bags of the Highland Roast, Colombian, and Red Ryder coffee beans and have really enjoyed all of them very much! It is fun to grind the beans as I have never done before and liked that whole process. The shipping has always been really quick and it just feels like the company really cares about satisfying you as a customer. My boyfriend and I just visited for our first time! The barista was super friendly (I didn’t catch his name but had black glasses and blonde hair) - and all I can say is OMG IT IS AMAZING!!!!! I got a drink off the seasonal menu (something with honey and cinnamon) and was BLOWN AWAY! My boyfriend got some whole beans that we are excited to grind up! We will 10/10 be back!!!!!My ONLY bit of recommendation that does not take away from my overall score is that the front step is VERY tall (like a double step)- luckily it was well salted but I was very nervous to go both up and down it. Again, doesn’t take away from the building, atmosphere, the friendly staff, or the delicious coffee.
