Clean store. Floor is rough and cracked. There’s a decent selection of produce but a lot of empty shelves. The self checkout helper took 15 minutes to come remove the security tag from the reusable bag so I could finish checking out.

Visited for back to school and had a difficult time finding my son clothing that fit. We found a few options and went to the fitting room. My husband tried the phone posted and it rang a few times then went busy. I went to find someone to assist us. I found someone relatively close and she looked at me like I was crazy and said use the phone and someone will help you. After picking up the phone multiple times and getting the same result we went to find someone else. I requested a manager because it would have taken less than a minute to unlock a dressing room for us yet they want us to go and find someone. The manager stated that the person in shoes was given a task and they dont allow associates to go to different departments when they are given a task; even if its next to where they are working. She said just keep trying the phone someone will hear it. Um ok whats the definition of insanity? I am completely emphatic and understand everywhere is short staffed but this makes no sense. Theres barely anyone in the clothing department and Fred Myer doesnt want people leaving their tasks to help people. I guess Amazon will have to do for back to school.

I ordered a pickup order today. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she was so kind and patient with me when I couldn’t find the pickup location. She was fast and friendly. Some of my items weren’t in stock, but she made great substitutions!! Thanks guys!

The customer service that I had was one of the worst I ever had. I dont normally shop at this store but I was passing through so I stopped to buy some grapes that were on sale. I went to the self check out where I was overcharged for the grapes. I tried to tell the cashier but she was extremely rude and would not listen to what I had to say. The receipt is very hard to understand but it was clear that I had been over charged. It said I had 5 items when I only had 3. The cashier had a very bad attitude and would not listen to me. Even when I told her of her mistake, instead of apologizing she was even more rude. I will never go back to this store.

Shopped there today and too many people NOT wearing masks, during a mask mandate.I asked to speak to a manager and when I asked if there was a mask mandate he just shrugged his shoulders..He had all sorts of excuses why Fred Meyer does nothing.So disappointing!!!I will be spending my money where I feel safer!!

They have expanded and its gotten so much better. It doesnt get too busy. It can get hard to find employees during slower hours.It has everything you need, much better than the wal-mart in the area.

Our checkout girl ran and got me a bunch of tulips when my husband told her it was our 25th anniversary. It was the sweetest gesture and made my day. It was 6:30 in the morning and it really started my anniversary out on the right foot. !!!!

Covington is a Huge and CLEAN Fred Meyer!! Set up similar to the Puyallup location. MOST EMPLOYEES ARE PLEASANT. IVE ONLY HAD ONE EMPLOYEE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. SHE WAS OLDER MIDDLE EASTERN AND TOLD ME I COULDNT RETURN SOMETHING . SHE WAS GENUINELY RUDE. SHE WORKED IN APPAREL.This one is far better than the Kent 240th location closer to my house. The 240th one has more shady customers--- than they have real customers. Well actually they are super busy!! Dont ever do a return at this 240th location. Their line is always out the door because of all of the immigrants doing Western Union 24/7. Covington Fred Meyer never has a line at customer service and its my go-to Freddies!! I love Fred meyer!Covington always has clean restrooms and store no matter bhowusy they are !!cleaner a

I really wish I could go here because they have a good selection of groceries but I am disabled and have to use an electric cart and none of the carts here EVER work. Theres always carts plugged in but IF one of them actually happens to be charged it ends up dying 5 minutes into my shopping, leaving my kids to help me get back out to my car and we cant even get any of our stuff.

I came here to get gas and air. And after waiting for the girl to finish playing with her hair and phone. She tells me that the remote for air doesnt work. I wish I would have known that before I spent $60 for gas. I could have get a better deal somewhere else 🤔

I went to Fred Meyer yesterday with my son who is 9 and the Assistant Manager of the front started chatting with him about FortNite in the bread aisle. So I was shopping around Fred Meyer electronics department for a Ps4. And I had a couple of questions. My first question was if I buy this, and if my nephew already has it or wants an Xbox one instead, can I come back return no questions as long as I had my and it happens before 30 days. So I purchase it.My nephew already had one so I told him Ill return it, and get him a different gift. So literally 2 days later I go there and I take out the receipt. And the lady snaps at me and says we dont accept return on gaming system. I tell her what he said to me. And she tells me that Im a liar no one would have told me that to me and points to this Big sign that says and I quote Some items cannot be returned for refund, including opened computer software, music CDs, vinyl records, movies or Some items cannot be returned for refund, including opened computer software, music CDs, vinyl records, movies or( VIDEO GAMES)And I tell her thats video games Not Video Gaming System or or consoles. She says it doesnt matter.I go home and call my credit card company, and I said I want dispute these charges. My Bank contact Kroger who owns Fred Meyer, and I get a letter from my bank and Kroger, the letter I got fromKroger, which states that they gave an extension for 6 months and I should be able to get a refund and they should accept return. Great Right? Well after I show them the letter from Kroger, they make wait for almost an hour if not more, Tim the store manager is telling me they wont accept it because they dont believe this letter to be genuine and tell me I should speak with the lady whole sent the letter, Andrella RA Kroger Customer Relations Center Charge Specialist.They also had the audacity to say that letter just a letter that didnt preclude to my case then I have another letter from Kroger which they see it it was about the PlayStation was the purchased and date bought and paid $ 431.81They still wont do what Kroger InstructedIts just been months and just wanna say this the worst customer service I have experienced. This the worst fred meyer or maybe all fred meyers that like this.Im gonna keep calling Kroger.The store manager Tim, you keep belittling me and if you were smarter you should have the return. Andrew in the jewelry department is a life saver. I got my rings about 5 months ago couldnt find the paper work. My husbands paperwork was fine mine was all messed up for some reason. He found out what was wrong after a wild goose chase to find where my life time warranty was in the computer. He found it. Gave me the paperwork to show we have the lifetime warranty. He is a god send. Thank you so much Andrew!!!

Fred Meyer has pretty much everything you need on a daily basis. Everything from groceries to clothes, toys, gardening, sports, interior needs, electronics, pharmacy and even a lite auto section. Some of their stores even has a jewelry store and more.

The place where you can get almost everything u need. And great customer service.

Since my wife and I bought our home here in Covington, weve been doing the majority of our grocery shopping at this Fred Meyer, and we continue coming back because we are always greeted by our cashiers with a smile and a friendly welcoming attitude.

The store overall is good, my aunt use to be a supervisor at this location. but ive purchased sushi a couple of times over the last week and the rolls have never been fully closed, the shrimp still had end trails in it and ive gotten rotten salmon. even without the rotten spoiled food the quality of it is terrible, sushi was the only reason i ever came to this fred meyer.

Just wondering why they’re gas station never has any paper towels so that you can check your oil or wipe down your windows. The attendance say that paper is back ordered. I am calling shenanigans

Very crowded today, Christmas eve. No surprise there,. I didnt see anyone without a mask which was an improvement, and although it was crowded, distancing was being maintained. Short check out lines and friendly cashiers. A clean store and well stocked. My local favorite.

F.M. is okay. I wouldnt recommend the electronics dept. Pretty aloof folks over there, I went over to that dept to buy something & the one female seemed to give me such a 1000 yard stare + no smile whatsoever! Guess some people are raised much social grace even basic ones. Lesson learned ? Order electronics online!

Saturday evening the Covington Fred Meyer is a great place to shop it is not very crowded and its wide open

I shop here every now and then and love that I can find the ingredients that I need. It is hard living on the West Coast where there is very few Puerto Ricans and trying to find certain ingredients. I like the fact that I can find the ingredients I need and at a decent price. I like the cheese selections and seafood selections that they have. Stores usually clean when Im there and always crowded.I am incredibly glad that they have self check out because it gets really packed in there. I think they are a little expensive for some of stuff they have, but they do have a little better quality than most places.I love the array of vegetables that they have. I love how they have many choices for different things; cheeses, alcohol, seafood, and meat. Four stars because they are way too expensive.

So much for 20% capacity (per COVID restrictions). Probably close to 90% the last time I was there (12/20/20). Meanwhile, bars, restaurants and small businesses across the region are going out of business in mass numbers, by no fault of their own. The unfairness and hypocrisy is nauseating.

They have almost everything

Clean and organized. Produce availability can be hit or miss but quality of food (meat department, produce, etc) has been good.

It was clean, well organized, and pleasant. The associates were also very helpful and friendly. If Im ever in Covington again, its the grocery store Ill use.

Great place for weekly sales

Nice store. I went to the vision center for new contacts and Dr. Wang sent me off with a pair of new contact and a smile. Great customer service and I was able to get in and out very quickly. The doctor was very easy going and patient. As for the store itself... It was clean, well stocked and although the cashier was very new he did a great job. I will definitely go back despite the fact that it is a bit out of my way.

Despite the new Covid-19 facemask law this store fails to enforce it with their employees. When I asked an associate where a manager was to speak to about it she laughed and said I would have to go find him myself. Store manager (Dave) said if they werent wearing one or wearing it incorrectly it was because they had a doctors note.My questions to Dave were why were unmasked people handling our food and what can they do to keep those with doctors notes away from the public or things we consume?? I intend to follow up tomorrow and will post Fred Meyers response be it good or bad. Boycott until they care about our safety and well being!

I recently visited this store with 3 grandchildren under 5 in tow. One of the workers saw how much trouble I was having keeping then out of stuff and decided to be my personal shopper. I was out of there in record time and still had my sanity.Thank you so much for your fine customer service!!

No enforcement of mask wearing! Lady at the door says they are told to ignore it. Half the people inside, including many staff members, wear masks at half staff ( below the nose). I went to complain to the customer service desk, but that person had her mask below the nose. Really? Cant you enforce the state mandate? Today was the worst Ive seen it.

Based on my daily driving I will stop for groceries at the Kent East Hill, or Auburn, or Covington, or Maple Valley stores. Having shopped at these stores since we moved to the Lake Meridian area 25 years ago I have certainly made many friends among these staffs.Clearly the Covington store is the friendliest, cleanest, and best stocked. I love the Covington store and it’s staff, they are certainly the finest.

Their customer service is terrible. They price marked an item for $83.99 it turns out it was $249.99 when I asked an employee to price check it. He said he would honor it as $83.99. Then the rude garden manager, said no its labeled clearly...yeah so clear your employees got it confused. Continued to make excuses, why it was marked wrong...we have new employees, I can give you 10% off. When I said forget it, I dont want it she got up and left, so I bought my other items and proceeded to leave...she came back for a second run, saying its too cheap...I cant do it for that cost understood but continued to argue with me, where I had to just walk away to defuse the situation. When your employees dont know the cost of an item and the manager says its clearly marked, how clear is it when your own employees said theyre not sure and theyd give it to you at that cost.Very unprofessional, rude and not a store Ill be back to. I came from Orting, WA to buy the fire pit, but Id rather leave empty handed then disrespected. Buyers beware.Found the same item they tried to argue with me and upcharge me for at Walmart for $100. :D

The staff is always super friendly and the produce is normally pretty fresh but one thing that I would like to see improve is better stocking of the shelves. I shop at the store consistently and find often that I dont see the item that Im looking for because its not properly stocked. Yesterday their were four items on my list that I could buy.

It has practically everything you could ever need under the Sun in their store. Make sure you work your online coupons and it will make it affordable. The only reason I took a star off is because every time I go in there I end up spending way more money than I intended.

This location has a nice layout and the hard liquor is in a separate area where children are not allowed to wander around. Gas is the cheapest in the area - only the nearby Costco is cheaper.

I shop here a few times a week. They have great customer service. The only thing is, they are often out of a couple things I usually need. Hard to get a manager on the fly, I dont have time to wait so have to make an additional stop at good old higher priced Safeway. However, they have a good selection of apparel, home goods, kitchen stuff, and lots of gardening supplies, healthy plants, etc. All in all, a pretty good store.

Its a great location the aisles are very well labeled. One of my favorite things is in the back of the store and in the freezer section aisle you will find basket and shelf of markdown discounted items from canned food to Coffee Health items or beauty supplies. I find some of the most amazing deals. The employees are very nice and friendly very helpful. If I had one complaint they dont ever have enough check stands open

Al ways have enjoyed shopping here for my odd stuff that I dont purchase at Costco, nice big parking lot, kind clerks, some of the products can be stocked more frequently, and faced,too. The other day when I was their shopping my usual items, the shelf was a mess ,no-one around for help, ended up on my knees too look on the bottom shelve, then went around the corner and two supervisors were standing and talking😠. That wasnt a good thing, but everyone buisesness has their day!!😁,I will still enjoy going there too shop.!!

I have been a customer since the day you guys opened and today will be my last day here I cannot believe what a mess you guys are making of this store, I will never be back.The check stands are a nightmare now.... Having to lift all of the heavy items out of your cart is absolutely ridiculous it is just lacking common sense all the way around....and the checker agreed with me that the old ones were way better and more personable.Not being able to find anything while you guys are doing construction is a nightmare and it is not necessary, there are so many better ways of doing the things that you guys are doing and this is not one of them. To just take the deli out for a few weeks, basically you guys really should have closed the whole place and done things quicker, we all have to go ro Safeway now anyway.

My dad and I just went to Fred Meyer in Covington and hes on oxygen. None of the electric scooters worked, there are not any benches for him to sit in the front of the store. I informed the cashier and she said she knows there is an issue with the electric scooters but management has not done anything about it. Please resolve this, Im sure there are a lot of elderly people that need electric scooters and benches.

Normally, I dont have many problems at this store but today was different. At self check out, the lady employee was very rude. My two cards did not work and I was positive it was not my cards. I told her this and she brushes me off saying it was working all day in a rude tone of voice. So basically saying it was my card and I had to call my bank. I insisted it was the computer and not me. She didnt even offer to try another check stand. So I tried it a fifth time and it worked. I told her this and she did not apologize to me at all. I thought the way she handled it was wrong. At least offer to ring me up yourself and not dissmiss me like that. But on a brighter note while trying to find a customer service card, the lady in the furniture apartment was very kind and polite to me. Oh, customer service cards need to be readily available!

Terrible service I witnessed an employee named heather cussing out a customer in front of her two small boys today . I walked out and will never go back to that store because of how horrible heather was to that family .

Good overall Fred Meyer location. Prices are always a tad higher than other similar stores, but they sure do have a little bit of everything. I truly appreciate the organic and natural food section that is growing and has quite a few options for those of us who want something more wholesome to eat.

The store is okay. It needs a renovation honestly. Maple Valley is nicer to shop at. But for my quick in and out shopping it is convenient.Edit: The remodel is so much better in this store...I actually like shopping there more than Maple Valley now when I get the chance.

This Fred Meyers is so well organized, products in stock, and good staff. The produce and meat department are awesome. Love this store. Chase built in also very convenient. Starbucks here too.

I frequently stop by on my way through town to procure some petrel for myself. This has always proven to be an enjoyable experience. My driver is very nice and washes my windows while were there. And I always leave satisfied and full.

Cheaper than Safeway. However, parking lot leaves something to be desired. Usually out of stock on mens razors (certain brand anyway). A couple cashiers could lose the attitude. Deli could be a little more consistent both in customer service and quality. Overall, my primary grocery.

A good store with just about everything you could ever need. I come here before Walmart if I am looking for random one off items. Really like the selection of Asian foods and they have a nice organic section. Some areas can get pretty congested though like the produce area and the dairy freezers.

Backpacked for 8 days North bound on Section K of the PCT August 2016. Probably some of the most beautiful lakes and views and meadows Ive ever seen. Loved this section even more than section J, to the south from here.

Young men named Robby was my checker and he was very genuine. Greating customers and engaging but not Gabby. Many associates through a busy Sunday shopping day were smoking and eager to help.

I love how this location has 8 self check-out stations. 4 for 15 items or less. 4 with a no item limit. It really helps to keep the lines down. Staff is always friendly.

I love this Fred Meyer but lately the produce is not great and I have to end up going elsewhere for my fresh produce. All the staff here is great and usually can find things here everyone else is sold out of.

I come here every week so its obviously the best place I could find around here for shopping. I just wish they would put a little work into the store itself. First thing- there are no decent shopping carts here. At all. They dont exist. Its like every single one has personally been trashed in the parking lot by kids. I think after going there every week for a few years, I have only found maybe three carts total that dont pull to the side or bob on three wheels. I dont even bother trying out different ones, I just grab the one at the end and hope for the best. This makes it especially difficult because the store is usually crowded and the aisles are very narrow with many frustrating pinch points like random little display tables with stuff on it. There is a potential bottle neck in each aisle. If you stop in an aisle to try to find something, you will immediately start to feel guilty and rushed because people will have a difficult time passing by you, forcing you to just grab something and go to keep the line moving. All they need is to hire an efficient interior designer and maybe engineer and they could figure out how to utilize all that space and also make it a good user experience.

The deli never works with a sense of urgency to get customers help. Make you sit there while they do all their side work before they help you this is the third time in the last few months Ive noticed this ridiculous Im never coming here again

I shop this Fred Meyer regularly and until recently it seems they are not restocking in a timely manner...it could be due to the holidays but the management should know to prepare for that. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of inventory the past few months, otherwise I love doing my shopping there.

Has what I am looking for or need 98% of the time. I can grab a basket, go shopping hungry and leave with under $50 in groceries, and I usually forget the coupons the send me... Friendly staff and well stocked.

I have shopped at this Fred Myers since 1968 to present. The store is hallmark in service. Great selection and good prices. What the problem is the homeless, panhandlers from downtown Seattle off the A line metro bus, and convicted felons on release from FDC Sea Tac and the Regional Justice Center frequent this shopping mall. Be warned if buying gas, or doing ATM transactions early in the morning, or late at night there. The Kent police almost have a constant presence at this store. The reason for this magnetism is not hard to figure. Where the money is, so will the felon and mooch. Fred Meyers needs to seriously consider the security of this store and its customers. This actually was for the Kent Fred Meyers, not Covington.

Covington Fred Meyers has a whole different reasoning in mind when they set up aisles. I shopped today thinking like the set up at the Auburn store. I asked someone if they shopped here normally. No, and I cant find anything Im looking for. Nope its not just me that thinks its food aisles are not what you expect. Service is okay. Not super friendly. Just be super kind back to them anyway.

Ive had store personnel be extremely rude, especially at the Customer Service desk (go figure) and trying to find someone to assist is an act of god. I tried calling their main line this morning to speak to the Deli and of course, their phones are all busy and no one ever picks up. Ill stick w/ Costco for an overall good shopping experience.

Very clean. The service reps are amazing. It smelled really clean and the bakery and deli were being tightied up and filled. Everyone smiled and greeted us.. asking if we needes assistance and not because we were black. It was genuine.

I asked if they could order something special that they carry at their other stores but not at this particular store. The nice lady at the cash registers was very helpful took all the information and said that somebody would call me back. Im still waiting for that call. I had to drive 10 miles to a different store to get what I need.

Store, products and pricing is fine but checkers have no idea how to bag groceries correctly. Always smash stuff. We bring our own bags including cold bags and always load our cold stuff first on the belt, but its hit or miss if the checkers use it and they get snarky if you ask them to use it. So stupid.

There was a 25% off sale on some items. The cashier ran them thru the scanner and I did indeed get 25% off on all items, except for one, so I was overcharged a little less than $4. So examine your receipts before you leave.

Large storage with pretty decent selection would recommend using the brand new carts (dark green handle) not the old ones (light green handle)

This Fred Meyer had a click list parking area near the garden center. I typically avoid this particular Fred Meyer due to parking and awkward placement. There is a Starbucks and Chase bank inside. They offer free kid sitting for one hour while you shop. They also have self checkout.
