I wanted my Samsung fixed and it was 100 dollars, I didnt mind the price but they messed up my phone. My power and volume button doesnt work now and cant be pressed, they fixed the screen and messed up the inside. I asked them if they could return it like it was and they just ignored me. I do not recommend l. Theres much better quality and cheaper shops.

I will definitely be using this business in the future. The manager was very expedient and took my phone again and thoroughly cleaned it because the phone would not work except in speaker phone mode. My phone is now working properly once again.

I visited the newly open business and I felt very much welcomed and taken care of. I turned my I phone which needed a screen replacement and the job was properly and quickly completed. I took my laptop and my iPhone in for repair. They replaced the charging port in the laptop while I waited. Unfortunately, the phone proved a bigger challenge, repeatedly heating up and draining the battery. When it became obvious, after repeated attempts, that the phone was beyond repair, they gave me an excellent deal on a new phone and even included a free case and helped me transfer my content. I recommend them for their persistence and friendly customer service!2 1/2 weeks later: I upgraded my review to 5 stars because I am SO HAPPY with the phone I got here!

My cell phone screen was badly cracked. I googled repair places in Iowa City/Coralville area. I knew I didnt want the same place on the Coralville Strip I had used a few years ago, as my phone didnt work after they replaced the screen and their customer service was horrible.I found Cell Phone Tech and Repair and the reviews were good. So I went there and was greeted by the owner who is a very nice man. He was more than willing to help me out and even found a less expensive screen for my phone on E-bay which saved me around $60. When the screen arrived 5 days later he called me. I drove right over to his shop, and he told me was going to fix it perfectly. I felt very confident, and while I ran a few errands, he had it all done in an hour! He had me try my icons to make sure everything worked correctly and that I was satisfied before leaving!If you need your phone repaired this is the place to go!

Fixed my daughters phone (broken iphone screen) in 30 min or less, and helped me with a new screen protector and even cleaned out my earpiece on my phone! Reasonably priced and quick friendly service. Ill be back after my kids do something else to one of the phones!

I would give Elkheir and Cell Tech & Repair 6 stars if I could. My iPhone screen was damaged to the point of not being functional. Due to current conditions the next shipment for iPhone 11 screens was not scheduled for a couple days from when I came in. Right in-store while I waited, Elkheir set me up with a “loaner” screen from an iPhone 11 he had in his shop - free of charge- so I could use my phone in the couple days it took for the screen to arrive. Later he did a great job replacing it with the new one that came in, he cleaned all the ports (it charges great again), and added a screen protector overlay pro Bono. The total cost to remove and replace the screen was considerably below the quotes of larger shops in the area, turnaround time was faster, and ownership was very transparent - the very first time I stopped by the store, Elkheir was out of the shop but his employees immediately got in touch, and he called me right then in the waiting room to discuss my issue, give me a quote, and set up a time to come back and fix it all before I left that day. I’ll be recommending this shop to anyone I know in need of phone repair.

I cracked my phone screen today and shopped around for the best option to fix it. I was very pleased with the customer service as the owner was very nice and easy to talk to. The prices are also fairly cheap. His price was $50 cheaper than anyone else I could find and it only took him 30 mins. He also added in a free glass screen protector. I am very pleased and will definetly be going back if I have phone issues again.

The screen on my iPhone 5 came off and I had to replace it. The guy found out it was because of the battery, which inflated and looked pretty bad, so he replaced both and added a new glass and a charger cable too. Great service for a very reasonable price. Plus, location is very convenient if you spend most of your day on campus.

Called about getting the screen replaced on my galaxy s8. The owner told me he didnt currently have one in stock but told me I could buy one on Ebay and save some money. He told me what I would need so I bought it and took it to him to put on. Dropped my phone off for 2 hours and I was good to go. His labor was less than any others I checked with. Ill be going back if I break my screen again... and I probably will. Shop was a little messy but I dont care what the place looks like if they do good work for a reasonable price.

TLDR: this place was incredibly affordable and quick and the guy who worked on my phone (named Elkheir) was nice and clearly knew what he was doing. I definitely recommend.My actual experience:I called ahead before I showed up, to explain my issue. Note that I had called two other places that dismissed my description and warned me they wouldnt likely be able to fix it. (assuming I dropped it or whatever, even though Id say I hadnt) The guy who answered for Cell Tech and Repair, named Elkheir, asked some pertinent questions and said I should come in.Everything was very quick; Elkheir was the one who took my phone when I arrived. He explained what he would try doing and was gone for maybe fifteen minutes. He came back with both the fix for my phone but also an explanation of what he was doing and why it works. It took possibly another 10 minutes before everything was done.(technical details: my Moto g6 turned off while it was just sitting in my car, charging, and the screen/power button wouldnt respond and charging it didnt seem to do anything. He put it in Odin mode and presumably flashed the necessary firmware.)
