I CAN SEE!!! I came in with the idea of giving contacts a try. Never known what it was to have contacts. I am in love!! Honestly cannot feel them. Lory was amazing!! Great customer service from the entire staff. She made me feel comfortable and took it a step further to help me in picking our glasses as well that fit my face and made me look good in. So glad I decided to come in and get my eyes checked!! Thank you Dr. Friefeld for your patience and allowing me to see clearly again!! Hands down the best Visionworks center I’ve been to.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses last year here with no issues. Went in last weekend and after walking around for 10 minutes I was told I needed to put a mask on. Locally we have no mask ordinances. Also I am touching glasses, trying them on and was told to put them right back, which means they are not being cleaned in between people trying them on. My point is that if your going to mandate I wear a mask when I am no where near anyone but not clean the products I am touching it makes no sense. You are just offering a fake sense of protection while allowing multiple people to handle the same products and place them on their face. When the employee told me that I needed a mask I responded with I no longer carry one as they are not needed locally and that I will go somewhere else then. Which I did and spent almost $700 at For Eyes on a couple pairs of glasses since they were happy to help me without a mask.

Lara was amazing to work with. She was patient and sulwd kind with my son. She made sure we were getting the best price with our insurance and she helped me correct something with my wives pair. She is amazing would totally recommend to friends.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I called to let them know I was going to be 5 minutes late and they said it was fine. I get there and start filling out the paperwork. I had to make a 1 minute call and stop filling out the paperwork and this heavy set lady (don’t know her name so we can call her rude) started saying “you come in late and on top of that you’re making the doctor wait even longer?” At first I thought she was talking to someone else but then the other employee who works there said “ma’am are you done feeling the paper work?” I responded to her that I was almost done. The rude lady said to that employee “there is no winning here, I’m proud of you for saying something to her”. That’s when I realized that she was talking to me and had to shame in doing so. My eye was bothering me so much that although I wanted to walk out and not give them my business, i didn’t have the choice but to stay. I told the doctor about it and he apologized and said they were probably joking. Who talks to their customers like that for being 5 minutes late? Even if I was an hour late. Unreal that this person is still working there. She should get a new job if she hates hers so bad instead of treating others like that. I wouldn’t recommend going there.

Ive been to this store before, but it was ages ago. This visit was for my yearly exam and I wanted to try something different than Walmart Vision. One thing I noticed was the section to sign that I received the HIPPA information and I had not. Usually I see a page explanation on their policy and so I asked their agent, Juan, about it, and he said that it was the information above that. No, that was asking for my personal information. Nothing there said anything about a privacy notice and I did not receive a copy. So he said I didnt need to sign it if I was uncomfortable. But really - if the company states on paper that I should get a copy of privacy information, they should have it available. The frames were more expensive than Walmart Vision but I did choose my glasses. And Juan was very good at helping me settle up and pay for my glasses and explained that they would contact me in 7 to 10 days. Dr. Friefeld was very nice and explained my exam step by step in ways I could understand. He has my confidence.

This place is a JOKE. they make you stand there and wait until theyre ready to take your temperature and spray you down with sanitizer (no matter how long they might take to get to you). They have no personality whatsoever unless its to be rude af to you, it seems like they are talking from a script. When someone else comes in they have the same thing to say to the next person. I chose glasses and the guy told me old people choose those glasses, ok then .... Picking them up was a hassle, I didnt even care if they fit my face, I wanted out of there as quickly as possible!

The eye doctor deserves 5 stars.I would recommend this store. The staff is patient and they take extra steps to be COVID19 safe.

I scheduled an appointment for my yearly eye exam at Visionworks and I was very pleased with the service. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a gentleman where he checked my temperature and provided hand sanitizer to me as well. Dr. Friefeld is the best eye doctor I have had in awhile! He is very nice and always takes his time during the appointment to answer any questions/concerns that I may have. After my eye exam, I was greeted by Lara who helped me choose the right pair of glasses fit for me. Lara is amazing at what she does and has such a sweet and funny personality! She really took her time and helped me get the best deal possible on my glasses and I truly appreciate all her help, especially during a difficult time like this! They do not honor the online/sale prices. I was given a lame excuse that those prices were only for people without eye plans---felt very scammy ala used car lot hucksters. I would not be surprised if they tell people without ins/plans that the online prices are only for people WITH eye plans/insurance. The frames were great, but the lenses were very subpar in quality despite the high price. I am now going to have to take the frames elsewhere to try to get decent lenses installed.

I have been going to this place for a few years now this is the first time i had this kind of problem, twice they made an appiontment with me and the night before they called to say my insurance wont cover the visist it was ok the frist time it happened. but the second time im like how do not know when its time for my yearly visit when its in the computer from the year before office mgt. said they dont pull up your insurance information until the night before the appt. well i told them how stuiped that sounded. so they said call your insurance company and find out so i did they told me that the store has the same information in there computer as we do and when you can go for your eye exam. so when i went to day for my appt. this lady lori was so rude and nasty they picked up right from where they left off on the phone with me from a week ago. and lori said she was a licensed optometrists nasty and unprofessional.

Good afternoon my friends,I have been a customer of Visionworks for at least two years and I can tell you now that I will no longer be a customer of this company. I spend about over $1500 during my last visit and frames for my dad are coming apart after only 4 months of light use. My parents anti-scratch is a joke and even my glass are suffering from the same issue. All 4 pairs are terrible quality even though we bough name brands. Due to Pandemic we delay our visit and now they tell us that they only have a 30 days warranty and if we had only paid an extra $60 for an extended warranty they could have done something. Based on the price we paid for each pair and the quality we received stay away. You can get better prices and quality from other sources such as Costco.Stay Away.

I recently visited Vision Works in Coral Spring and it was an awesome experience. Every time I’ve went shopping for glasses anywhere else the employees of that establishment didn’t help me pick out glasses to to which fits me. Vision Works in Coral Springs sit me down went section to section seeing what glasses fits me all the associates played a part in helping me find the glasses that fits me and made me feel comfortable doing it with their friendly atmosphere with that being said they are my new home.

Best experience I have ever had at an eye doctor! I went during my lunch break and as soon as I got there I was given paper work immediately and taken back within a few minutes. The doctor was very personable and friendly. I told him I wanted my eyes dilated but didnt have enough time since I was on my lunch break. he said not to worry he would have me out on time which he did! While waiting for my eyes to dilate Deanna helped me check out up front and get my contacts in a quick, efficient, and friendly manor so as to not waste time. I really appreciate that they respected my time and everything went smooth. I will definitely be coming back here for my yearly exams

This has been my first experience with Visionworks and I am very satisfied. They are the preferred provider of my insurance so I gave them a try. During my initial visit, I was helped by Mary and even though I arrived 30 minutes before closing, she was very friendly and accommodating. She took the time to explain all my options and the purchasing process thoroughly. On my next visit to pickup my glasses, I was helped by Alex. It was very busy when I arrived and although he was with a couple of clients and there were 5 more waiting ahead of me, he greeted me with a smile, apologized for the wait, explained they were short staffed at the moment and offered to make an appointment for tomorrow if I preferred. I was in no rush and had time so I chose to wait. I admire how friendly and thorough he was with each client, while still being efficient. You have some great staff at this location. Keep up the great work!

This place is terrible! You have to make an appointment just to pick up glasses. If you walk-in they wont adjust them for you even though the store was empty! The workers just dont want to work so they make it impossible to get help. Very disappointed with the service.

I cant tell you how impersonal and non-helping that the staff was. This was a first, and last, time visit!! When the doctor came in to the room, he didnt even introduce himself, shake my hand, or even say my name to make sure he even had the right patient!! He did a few quick vision tests and that was it. Probably spent, maybe, a total of 5 minutes in the room then he sent someone else in to do another test that I declined because my insurance doesnt cover it.After the doctor was done, I went out to look at frames because the whole reason I chose Visionworks was because, to be honest, they have been cheaper for everyone I know and with my insurance being so crappy, I needed a little cheaper. Boy was I wrong when I was told my total! The frames I picked out were 195.95. That I was ok with me, I knew it was going to cost for the frames and with how often I get new frames, I spend a little more on them.After I had picked out my frames and went to be checked out, the only question I was asked about my lenss was if I use glare protection on them. That was it. Didnt ask if I had transitions, wanted scratch guard nothing!! Granted this was all before the total actually came out, but I should still have been asked!!! When I was told it was $300 for my lenss, for just regular lens with glare guard, I wont lie, I swore!! Just under $500 for ONE pair of glasses? I dont care if your company was doing a buy one get one deal, that is ridiculous for ONE pair!! The place I was going, and will be returning to because obviously the big companies dont care about new patients, only charged me just under $300 for new frames, lenss that had glare guard, transition, and scratch guard, and the exam and they are a 1 store kind of place, not a chain that I am sure gets a huge bulk discount!! The lady who was helping me, also, didnt state whether there were other options I could do to try and make the price a little cheaper or anything. It was like, heres your total, want them? That was it!!I would NOT recommend this location unless you like the idea of a non-personal experience as they dont even act as though you are a person there, just a pay check!I will say, there was an older lady that came and asked if I needed any help and she was super nice and helpful but wasnt pushy about it!! The ONLY good thing about the experience!

Customer service is phenomenal specially from Lara. She made sure that we have is the best deal with or without insurance. She also let us know of any promotion/rebates going on. She even called us a few days later to let us know that she missed a rebate we can also get. She didn’t have to do that but she went far and beyond for us. So grateful for that. I cannot believe the poor reviews on here. My experience was GREAT. I had seen Dr. F. In a different V.W. location and came here to see him again for the following years follow up visit. He is the only Dr. In the past 10 years that has fitted me properly for contacts. After age 40 it has been very challenging to find the proper fit and script but not for Dr. F. Thx a bunch Dr. F. Youre Awesome! Will definitely come back. And Kudos to Deana. She is amazing! So helpful. Always has a smile for you and is always on track, knowledgeable and generally very helpful. I paid $10 for my glasses cleaner. I go pick up my glasses and asked for the cleaning product they said they were sold out. They will call me when they had available. I was dumb enough to tell them ok. 2 weeks past and no phone call. So I decided to call to check but guess what they were still sold out! Fine then I called a month later and nothing yet. It been about 5 months now and I still havent gotten no call. They stole my $10 never got a refund or something else to replace the cleaner. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN !!!

When we went to pick up the glasses he gave her a tutorial on how to care for her glasses, he also made sure the glasses fit by adjusting the frames to her face. Visited doctor Friefeld and checked out glasses. Lara is great at this location and other Visionworks stores, other salespeople are just that-salespeople. Make sure you shop around if you need cheap glasses, dont fall for normal sales tactics. All in all a great place, good selection.

So sad how one person can ruin an establishment. The Dr was nice and professional meanwhile the face of the office (customer service) was wearing her feelings on her sleeves. Do not work in customer service if you hate your job! This woman was talking down to an older couple the entire time she was helping them. And then she had made it super obvious that she didnt want to deal with me. Choose your staff wisely!! Nobody has time for rude people! Taking my business elsewhere.

Before going to Visionworks I checked their reviews and decided to try them. As for my first experience, I had a wonderfult experience. Very little wait time, excellent customer services and treated with lots of courtesy and professionalism. I got 2 frames for the price of one. Received a call from Visionworks as soon as my glasses arrived. One of the frames were not the right color but the color that arrived were nicer than the color I chose. I had my frames over 6 months snd all I needed was a minor adjustment. I am very much acsastfied customer and will be back again. Highly recommend them.

My mother tried picking up her new glasses today. The woman who was assisting my mother was extremely rude. After arguing with my mom about why her glasses would stay crooked because no one has a perfect face, she proceeded to explain she needed to go to lunch. Then another woman who works there comes by and asks Whats going on? My mother explained that the original woman helping her needed to go to lunch and my mom requested someone else to help her. The original woman got upset and said she never told my mom she needed to go to lunch! So much more to tell but I think thats enough for me to say I will never be giving these people my business. Im also telling anyone who will listen to never waste their time or money at this store.

On Thursday October 18th, I took my dad to Visionworks for an appointment that was already set up because of the BOGO Sale. (He had bought glasses from Visionworks in Sunrise at Sawgrass some years back and was very pleased.)Craig, Deanna, and Alex were all extremely professional, courteous, and personable that it made our visit feel like we were not just a sale! From the moment I called on the way because I anticipated arriving a little late, Deannas reassuring response, Its okay. Take your time and drive safely confirmed my decision to go to Visionworks. We entered at exactly our appointment time of 1:15 p.m. and was immediately greeted and given the usual forms to complete, but were retrieved in less than 15 minutes for our eye exam. My father was pleasantly overwhelmed with the selection as I told Craig that we needed to place a rush on the order, to which he said, no problem... well pay for it. Wow! What service!

I live in Fort Lauderdale and I purposely drive to Coral Springs because everyone there is great especially Deanna who remembers me and my order every time I call or go in. Overall a great experience and will continue making that drive.

The gentleman who took care of me in Coral Springs was very rude, (he was also very unfriendly the first time I went to get the glasses) unlike the girls who took care of me very well when I went to do the eye exam. Definitely not a good guy to go for!

This place used to be amazing and now they have a girl named paola working there who doesnt know her elbow from her wrist. I paid almost $1000 for two pairs AND THE WARRANTY PLAN for BOTH pairs which was supposed to be $30 to replace if broken. I come in to get the new pair and she has no idea how to work the computer and shes the only one there. Her excuse was that shes new which is fine, but they just left her there to fend for herself?!?!!! She cant even do a $30 transaction so how can she sell glasses? Santiago from the lab tried to help but also didnt know muchWorst place ever!!! Never ever ever going back to visionworks. I was due for another exam and pair but Im willing to pay the extra $100 at lenscrafters for a better service. Not even worth that one star.
