I should have checked the slew of recent negative reviews that actually contained any content before going here. Ive had good luck with other Tires Plus locations but dont waste your time with this place. The dont value their customers and they over represent their abilities. There are plenty of other auto shops and they are less expensive as well.

I just had a set of new tires put on an I noticed my rims have deep gauges on them . All four! I paid $700 and my traction light is on . I want these taken care of! Also it might seem petty but the caps dont match either!!

Will do there best to convince you that youre vehicle needs something it doesnt just to make money for the company

I used to be a regular and got to know the staff, learned to trust them, had a 5 star review, but the CR location off Northdale has gone downhill. Made an oil change appointment and 45 minutes in, I stood up to stretch and noticed my car was still outside. I asked what was up and got a BS answer, like yeah yeah we getting it. I asked for my keys and left. While I was waiting there were a couple people there complaining about why is it taking 2 hours for a check engine light, bad customer service. Those people all said, I dont want you to work on my car, and they left after paying $99. Sad. Find a local place you can trust.

Overpriced, incompetent employees, and slow service. I used to bring my vehicles here all the time but found Midas next door which is 100% friendlier, knowledge, and fair priced. I had one of my larger trucks here years ago and they couldn’t work on it because “the tires were too knobby and the entire staff tried to push it in”, right. Don’t you think they’d have a procedure for this? Or maybe tell me you can’t work on my truck before I drop it off. They finally got the truck in their shop and charged me twice what Midas would have. Think twice before bringing your vehicle here. I’ve turned away everyone I know.

Longtime customer, Tires Plus does not honor their warrantee on tires. Last set of tires lasted about a year (bald) and Kevin (mgr) blames tire wear on car issues (even though I have bought many sets of tires from them over the years). Checked with my mechanic, no car issues that would make tires wear out like that. No problem! I can bring my business to Wright Tire.

I have had work done here on several occasions. Jeremy one of the mechanics here is the best mechanic I ever met. Kevin and Ray up front are awesome as well.

Ray and his crew was outstanding. They took care of those chrome leaking rims and balanced one of my tires. They did a thorough check of my Cadillac Escalade. Great honest serviceThanks Ray!

Need to be specific on prices. Didnt know gunna charge me 42$ labor for changing my headlight when I went in for an alignment that wasnt able to be done..

Highly recommend Tires Plus in Coon Rapids. The service and attentiveness is top notch! Corey Nelson is great to work with. He truly takes his time to help me understand any issue that my vehicle may be having and offers solutions to fix the problems. You can tell he cares about his customers. It is a very welcoming environment to walk into. Wait is minimal, communication is great, and pricing is competitive. I will always bring my business here.

One star is too good for this location!Rude, disrespectful techs and terrible service. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change early Saturday morning. When I walked into the lobby, the tech was sitting in the lobby watching tv and didnt acknowledge me until I said Hello?. The tech gives an exasperated sigh and gets up out of the chair. I went to the counter telling the tech I had an oil change appointment and he asked if I was dropping off my vehicle. When I told him no, he tells me the lobby is closed and I would need to wait outside until the service was done. Outside. In 20 degree temps! The tech said there was a picnic table outside I could sit at and he was not apathetic at all. I went outside and discovered that I could not sit at the table because it was soaking wet from the morning dew, so I ended up sitting on the edge of the very cold concrete sidewalk. When my oil change was done, I went back inside to pay. Freezing cold and shivering, the tech tells me my total and asks me if I want to open a Tires Plus account/credit card. I tell him NO and he keeps pressing me, telling me Ill get a discount on my oil change. I tell him NO AGAIN, more forcefully. He says, Ok, jeez. I sign for my service, get my receipt, he vaguely thanked me and I left.I have NEVER had such terrible, rude and unhelpful service from a Tires Plus location IN MY LIFE. I will NEVER return to the Northdale Blvd location, EVER!

Got a flat tire this morning from a dang pot hole and brought it to these guys. They helped me out right away and got it all patched up within an hour. Started out the day rough but now its all good. Thanks to these guys.

This has become my go-to repair place. Ive been screwed around by a lot of local shops but I always feel like I get an honest repair here for an decent price. They always work to get me in and dont try to force upsells on you. The only reason I didnt give five stars was because there are more affordable options out there, but this location is definitely within the reasonableness ballpark (if a little on the high side of it). Having an honest shop is indeed worth it, however, so go talk to Corey, hell get you set up right.

Horrible customer service, call in at 8am said I didnt need to make an appointment. I can just walk in, will dropped off my car at 11am and 4hrs later still no call so I had to call and they still havent change tires on my car. Then was told a different story that they were full that is why. Will I new that was why I ask in the frist place if I need an appointment, well they said nope they are available and I can just walk in. Poor service, the guy told me will did you want to stop I can. That was a red flag that he is the one turning customers away. I ask to speak to a manager then he said oh he is not here, really? Thats what all places do when someone else to speak to a manager and that is always the excuses. I told the guy, what he could of said is Im sorry for the inconvenience that it took longer and that you were told wrong information will make sure I pass along the message so this doesnt happen away and we are doing the best we can, thank you for being patience. Thats all he could of said, but nope just decided to stop service for me. This is very bad. As much as I wanted to just pick up my car and go to a different place, its already 5pm and I have to work the next day. My tires needed to be change and they took the whole day, what am I supposed to do. Had to tell them to get it done before 5pm. Because they closed at 5pm. The guys said oh hed wait even if its later. Will see how it goes. Im still waiting and its 430pm.

Store Manager is very knowledgeable and understands the needs to have service done in a timely manner, allowed me to leave the site before the approval process was complete with the fleet service. Great service and would highly recommend to go here, also found control arm issues and will be getting this repaired next week. Great Job Guys

On June 1st 2020 I call Tires Plus and made an appointment with Ray, to bring my car in on June 2nd at 1 PM . When I arrived at 12:30 Mr Malcom at the counter told I had no schedule time according to his computer for the purchase of 4 tires, I left the car at Tires plus several hours later Mr Malcom called me to say that the car was ready for pickup, when I arrived the car was not ready and still parked on a hoist and not ready to be picked upPlease explain why this happened and what you will do to correct this kind of inconvenienceRichard Dupont Andover MN

I left my car here to have a set of 4 tires put on that I had bought at a different location and an hour later I get a phone call saying one of my tire monitors has a dead battery and it would be 80 to fix it. Prior to bringing in my car all my tires were reading pressure therefore the battery couldnt be dead and wasnt dead when I dropped my car off. I checked to make sure before bringing in my car that all the sensors were reading a PSI which they were. The battery did not die in that very short time after I dropped the car off. There is absolutely no way the battery died, they last up to 10 years. So I go from being able to read pressure in all 4 tires to not being able to read pressure in any tire because one of those guys broke my sensor trying to make more money so Id buy a new one. Now they cant get any of them to calibrate to the car. Everything was totally fine until they touched my car. Stay far far away from this crooked tire shop. They were just trying to make money. I was then approached by a guy in the parking lot when I was leaving and he told me he used to work here and said they are crooked and told me of a place to bring my car and theyd calibrate it for free in their parking lot. He also said my battery isnt dead because the light on my dashboard would be blinking but its solid.

What a joke of a tire shop. I was in the business for 15 years and have forgotten more then they obviously know .

Stores filthy, freezing cold, no coffee available, the one managing the counter was short and not very friendly.

Ive been going to this location for well over 15 years and have always been treated fairly and honestly I believe. They do good work and explain what I need to have done to my car if theres ever anything that needs fixing. I have never felt like Im being taken advantage of just because Im a woman.

The actual price was quite a difference from the estimated price.

Cant say how quick and friendly this place is, got a great deal on a battery installation and oil change in record time, quick and easy.

I Recently bought new tires for my driving school car and purchase the firestone weathergrip. Absolutely fantastic. These tires are performing beyond my expectations and will put them on the rest of my vehicles

Went in to do a oil change and tire rotation. After I pulled out of tires plus my steering wheel started to shake... so i took my car back.they say they look at the tires and all this other stuff on that paper they give you when leaving. Took my car to another auto shop the said my one tires was 3.9sec and other two were 4.4 seconds and One tire needs asap. Tires plus said my tires are at 5s.. How do you tell someone they cars is fine and ready to drive and not say anything about the shaking is cause by a bad tire.

Always able to fit you into a appointment and friendly sales staff. Prices are always competitive. Would highly reccomend.

The quote was broken down into cost of the tires, warranty and services provided. I walked out the door spending no more money than what I had intended. Liars. Told me the front end of my vehicle needed to be replaced. Took it to an ASE certified mechanic and found nothing wrong with the truck. Tires were balanced incorrectly and had to be redone less than a month after installing them. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Not an overall great experience. Wasnt terrible but there has to be better, faster service. I had new tires put on 3 weeks ago by this store in CR. Recommended a wheel alignment because one tire was just slightly out of alignment but other was within tolerance. An 8AM appt finished at 10:30 for 4 tires and an alignment. Driving home, I noticed the steering wheel was off-center (not the case before) and vehicle pulled to right. I scheduled another 8AM appt to check alignment and center steering. I arrived early but alignment tech didnt start until 8, one hour after store open. Took 20 minutes to get started. 45 minutes later, they found a camber bolt needed replacing (on the previous good tire) and they couldnt adjust it. Odd thing is previous good alignment was within tolerance but now out of tolerance and the one they adjusted was now also out of tolerance - more than before they worked on it. Was going to take addtional time to get part delivered from in town. Expected to take another 45 min (I get its an estimate time, and I did approve the work) but I had left and came back one hour later. Truck was parked outside but when I went in, counter guy didnt know status as he didnt have a ticket for it, must still be working on it. I waited 10 minutes and asked him to check on it. He came back and it was next in line. So I waited. 25 minutes it was ready. I paid (they comped me a discount which was nice) and went to leave. Just over 3 hours for an alignment recheck - and potentially for work that should have been caught last visit. I found they had backed my truck into a snow bank - no damage but bumper was covered in snow and hitch packed with snow. I had just washed it immediately before my appt to get road grime off the under carriage so they could look at it. They kept saying to many customers during both my visits that they are so busy. I dont think they realize they are not slow because they are busy - it is the opposite, they are busy because they are slow. Atleast that is my viewpoint based on just 2 visits.

Great location and customer service. I just suggest they work on the time management of doing a repair and sticking to the promised time and price. Even though, I do recommend and they did a good job.

Terrible customer service, always has been that way. Worked at this location about two years ago and apparently new management hasnt made a difference, despite the fact that when I worked you couldnt refuse walk-ins which is now acceptable. Fact: the labor they charge is always at least twice the amount of time they actually work on it, and they will 100% sell you things you absolutely do not need.

So I go here right? I buy 4 tires from them right? And my check engine light is on so Im like hey can you just scan it and see what codes come up. So I go home wait for them to call, they tell me I have 2 codes and give me a long list of thing they will need to check and a 300 dollar quote. So I go home right, and notice my coolant is a tad bit low... so I top her off.... code vanishes.... 300 dollars I saved. Go somewhere else, its cheaper. They wont lie to you for 5 dollars in commission around the holidays.

Depends on whos working the desk on how your experience goes. But otherwise, dependable good work.

Stopped by *At The BLAINE Location* to get a set of 4 tires today for my car. I specifically wanted Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, and was informed by the service manager that there were only 3 tires left in my size in the entire country. There was nothing they could do, and they could sell me some Firestone All-season tires for only $6 more per tire. So I left and drove 6 miles down the road to Tires Plus in Coon Rapids, asked the same thing, and lo and behold they were in stock at the local warehouse... They had them delivered and mounted within an hour. Take your business to the Coon Rapids Location. 10/10 would recommend.

I went in the get one of my tires fixed and had a horrible experience. Ive been here before and theyve usually been great so I was going to let it go as a botched one time deal. Kerry called me and apologized, and was very sincere. As a customer the only thing I really wanted was for the problem to be recognized and apologized for and to feel that my business is valued, which he did so with sincerety. I really appreciate him going out of the way to do so. I would give them my business again in hopes that it was just a one time thing. Thank you.

They dont man the counter and the prices are ridiculous. I only went in to get oil changes but they said, your break light is out, we can fix that for another $60 if you would like. Really? $60 for a break light change? What do they plan to do to it? Seriously?! A bulb is $5!!

Bought 4 tires at Costco in the fall, this June I ran over a bolt and flattened the tire, needed the tire fixed ASAP, Costco was not open, tires plus immediately told me it was not patchable or pluggable even though the hole was right in the middle tread , But would sell me a $200 replacement tire, at this time Costco had opened so I went there, free patch and plug, tire is great, no leaks, buyer beware, just because one place says they cant fix it doesnt mean some place else cant. I complained to the manager which I know will go nowhere.

Ok place for car maintenance, repair and tires.I have been a long term custimer. Take my families 4 cars there. Because all call car places in my view are not straight forward and take advantage of people that do not know the workings of their own car. This place is no exception. They upsell just like Firestone, Honest1 or any other place...a business strategy everyone uses. But a car place must give an honest picture of your car then suggest other things not scare you into getting things done. There were some honest people here that did just that. Now a new team. Have to wait and see.

Two years ago I was trying to purchase winter tires from a Pep Boys store that is located about 5 minutes down the road in the Riverdale shopping area. Long story short, the Pep Boys store dropped the ball bad (see my review of them) and left me with a very bitter taste in my memory. As I was leaving Pep Boys, I called up this Tires Plus store and asked what they had in stock and explained my situation. The manager said he had better tires in stock and gave me a estimate that was less then the estimate from pep boys. I drove over there and within the next hour I had brand new tires on my car....right in time for a big snowstorm. Great service and competitive prices most of the time.

Good customer service, but even when scheduling an appointment for an oil change its always an hour AFTER the set time that my car gets into the shop. Its a 15 minute job and this has happened on more than one occasion.

All tires plus are horrible but because I have a stupid credit card from them (which I destroyed) I get sucked back in. Long story short, They quoted me $1999.00 for an ABS system for my Honda CRV just for the part. Claimed they had to get the dealer one because there were no refurbished ones. When I took it to another garage they charged my $450 for parts and labor for a BRAND NEW ABS system. Car runs great. I know most garages are crooked but why is Tires Plus so diabolically evil. I am a real person not a robot. I have feelings and bills and children. How do they sleep at night charging $2000+ more for the same exact job. I dont know how they sleep at night

This place is the place to go if you have a car need the need to be taken care of and Jeremy Pater works there is one of the lead tech and is absolutely a gift with a wrench, the staff is always second to none best

Took over 2 hours just to get tires installed.

Ive been going here for 6 years since I moved nearby. Ill be the first to admit I have very limited knowledge of car/truck mechanical issues. Over the years, it seems they have nickel and dimed me. Long story short - TP quoted me on a number of items that needed to be done. I brought it to someone else for them to check it out. Only about 1/2 the things needed to be done and the quote I got from the new place for everything TP quoted was about 60% less.Multiple times, I have scheduled an oil change appointment online and they have confirmed via email only to call the day of saying they are overbooked and cant fit me in.Would much rather give my money to someone who is capable of running a business and treats their customers with respect, than this Tires Plus location. Would not recommend them for anything and would advise potential customers to find another place to take your vehicle.

They told me they could put on my ONE tire that was already off the vehicle over the phone and when I got there they tell me if I do this Im gunna have guys quit. I called ahead to make sure I could get my tire put on, showed up an hour before close, and they still refused me. Never going back, these guys dont care about the customers

Bought a set of new tires this week. Wheels where not balanced right, had vibration at 70mph on the way home. Then they tried to tell me both of my inner tie rods where loose and needed to be replace. Got home and inspected both inner tie rod and there was zero play. I will never go back to them.

The guys there are lazy. I paid them to shake down my car and find all the issues so I could fix it. They didnt. I asked about a leak and the guy was an ass. I suggest people go to the Tires Plus on Springbrooke drive.

We took our car in at 8 am (we had an appt) to have the brakes checked 2 hours later they finally called and 7 1/2 hours later we could finally pick up the car. Worst customer service, I have had brakes done before on many other cars, but this is the first time it ever took over 7 hours for it to be done. Never going back not even for tires.
