My family has been bringing our cars here for well over twenty years now. Why? Two reasons. They are the most honest auto repair shop in town and they stand behind their work.Most recently I brought my 2011 Kia Sportage in to have the rear brakes replaced. I picked up my car and went on my way. Well, some crazy sound developed and I brought it back. It turned out one of the calipers was defective so they replaced it in short time. I leave and am happy as a clam because I got my car back.I drove to work the next morning without issue. However, on the way home my car started making a horrible sound from the front. I called Cierra (who is an absolute lifesaver and amazing at her job) and she tells me to drop it off and she’ll give me a loaner. This is a Thursday so the week is running out.Friday, I go to work and wait for their call. I finally get the call I’ve dreaded all day in the early afternoon. Cierra tells me they can’t figure it out. All three have driven my car and tried to diagnose the problem and no one can. Cierra asks if it’s okay to keep it over the weekend, which is fine. I wouldn’t have wanted to drive it anyway.The weekend goes by and I go to work Monday morning. It’s not until later afternoon when she calls and I’m thinking the worst. She explains everything that happened and the numerous hours spent on my car. They only replaced some clips that were holding my brake pads in place and said I could pick it up after work.I’m dreading what it will cost, as they spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong. When I arrive, I ask how much I owe them and they said nothing. This isn’t even an issue they caused. Yet, they diagnosed and repaired it at no cost. That’s a level of service that no longer exists.I was already a faithful customer but it’s moments like this that keep me coming back. I will not entrust my vehicle to anyone else, and neither should you.

My car started making alarming noises and I was a hour drive away from home. They worked me in near the end of the day. The nicest people. Cant recommend enough.

A family owned car service business celebrating 40 years! Cierra maintains CRS busy schedule and provides a great customer experience. This allows the service technicians to provide a high level of service to your vehicle. A good captain once said, hire qualified personnel and the ship will steer itself. Spike did just that and this repair shop runs like a well oiled and maintained machine. I recommend their service.

Honest and didnt pressure me into fixing anything that came back from their basic inspection. Gave me opinions and was gonna send me a quote on what it would cost to fix the few minor things if I wanted to! Will be returning. No more waiting for the hubby to get around to changing the oil!

I was heading to the lake when I got a flat tire and pulled into the shop. Found out the the tire was unrepairable and they did not have a tire in stock for me. They graciously put on my spare tire for me at no charge so I could drive to Discount Tire to get another tire. What great customer service.

Exceptional customer service! Ciarra and everyone else was so caring and accommodating. I called worried because I couldnt ride with the tow truck driver (due to COVID restrictions) and the employee there ensured me they would receive my car. Emergency repair to my starter and the mechanic and Ciarra stayed late on a Friday to ensure I had my car back before the weekend. They even offered a loaner if it wasnt completed in time. It was! Will definitely go back again. Extraordinary service at its best!

My SUV had an engine light went off, drove right to CR service, They checked the code, and told me to take a rental (No charge) I was able to get to work. I was told how much, and I asked for a tire rotation, and a oil change. They got it done and more for no charge. They didnt take me for money, which I appreciate. They did a bumper to bumper exam making sure my vehicle is ready to drive. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for any engine problems.

Always great service here. Its a small, family owned shop, so they really take care of their customers. They tell you whats going on with your car before it becomes urgent and they even rank the issues based on what they believe needs to be done first. I never feel like theyre ripping me off or just telling me stuff to get my car in their shop. Their employees are SOOO FRIENDLY. Waiting in their small area is never boring if youre chatting with whoever is working the desk. Their receptionist, Cierra, has even sat and watched my kiddo while I had to make phone calls outside before. Just overall a great shop with caring employees.

I brought my 08 Malibu in to have the timing cover gasket replaced, the price was comparable to other local shops for the most part and included a 2 year warranty. Replacing the timing cover is not an easy job on this vehicle and they did very well on it, however as soon as I got it back there was a noticable leak and it appeared much worse than before, I brought it back in right away and they replaced the crank seal which was covered under warranty, they also gave me a deduction on the oil change when I couldnt afford it after the repair.There are great people there and they offer a great service, I will be taking my vehicles here when I need to.

I can not thank all of the guys at Coon Rapids Service enough. They did an amazing job of going above and beyond when we needed our truck fixed. They were VERY honest about the pricing, how long it might take for the repair, and were great about answering all of our questions. The price quoted for a custom break line was accurate and less than what others had quoted for non custom work.I highly recommend all of them at Coon Rapids Service.

Nice guys, fixed what needed to be fixed and told me of upcoming problems. Perfect place for a car past warranty because theyre honest and tell you what can be done even with used part if thats available. Im fine throwing $1500 into my truck because I know it has a lot of life left.

If I could give CRS more than 5 stars, I would. Perhaps thats because they just saved me a ton of money, didnt snow me, were super nice and I didnt need to pay anything for the inspection. Took my car in because of some shuddering and clunking in the front end. Another shop was recommending new brakes, sway bars, new wheel bearing...a hefty chunk of change. I had just had the front brakes done at that shop about 13 months ago which pushed me to get another estimate. All of the headache and stress of not knowing what was going on with my car boiled down to tightening the lower bolts on the sway bars...which they did for free. They indicated the front brakes were like new and the wheel bearing was just fine. Trust is a huge thing when it comes to vehicle repairs because most people arent experts when it comes to cars. CRS has definitely earned my trust and now I know the reason why theyve been in business for decades. While I dont look forward to car repairs in the future, I will be taking my car yo CRS.

I took my Vehicle here to get an estimate. Super Nice guy at counter who diagnosed my problem with my 2005 explorer. The price was fine. But I knew I could do myself for cheaper with a friend. He said thats ok. I said How much do I owe? He said Nothing today. Blew my mind cause they had it on the hoist etc. So I gave em 20$ for their time. Much appreciated and was TREATED WITH RESPECT! Even tho I chose to do the work myself. Thats a Great Business Im sure and does work they stand behind.

Brought car in with a few problems. expecting to only get one thing done. and to be with out a car for a day or two. they were able to get it done the same day of inspection. two of the issues werent as major as i thought, so was able to get multiple problems fixed for budget. still have an issue or two that needs to be taken care of but will absolutely be back. the service was unbelievable courteous and friendly. i wont be going anywhere else.

I had some minor shaking and pulling to the right on my car, I went to the dealership to get some manufacturer recall repairs done hoping that one of the five repairs would fix the issue. It didn’t. The dealership recommended a $1,200 repair. I had just met Spike at Coon Rapids Auto at a Biz to Biz Networking meeting, so I decided to try their FREE diagnosis. They determined that the repair that the dealership was suggesting was not necessary and would not fix the issue. They did find the cause of the shaking and made some other maintenance recommendations. They also fixed my check engine light in the FREE diag. process. I waited for a few weeks, then decided to have them fix the minor shaking. Day1 - They gave me a car to use while my car was being worked on. They installed the part on the right side and noticed that the part was defective after test driving. Day 2 – They ordered another part for the right side and installed it, they noticed that it was still shaking a little bit. Day 3 – After some testing, they determined that the part on the left side needed to be replaced as well. They went ahead and replaced the left side part at no additional cost. The car works as good as new! Thanks Coon Rapids Auto!

I happened to be in the Coon Rapids area for an appointment, when I noticed something wrong with the way my car felt and sounded. I thought it might be an issue with a tire. They worked me into their busy schedule to take a look and found my left front tire was very loose. They gave me a loaner car, and when I returned, they had fixed the problem and the owner told me no charge! This situation would have been dangerous at high speeds out on the highway. He also showed me pictures of the rim and explained exactly what caused the problem. I highly recommend Coon Rapids Service. They are caring, conscientious, trustworthy, and friendly!
