I was looking for scooters for my grandchildren.Lucky for me.Not only did they have them but they were on sale.I have shopped this store before and like it.Easy getting to and easy parking.

I went to the San Ramon store and waited for about 10 mins for someone to come to the counter after three or four minutes I was curious to see how long it would take but no one out of 4 employees that were talking to each other did so I went to the concord store there someone asked within about 15 seconds upon reaching the counter answered all my questions and was extremely helpful even the manager came in on the conversation and was very friendly and helped me to make the right decision

Tons of great fun stuff here always. Price on tubes was comparable or better than similar tubes on Amazon and Safeway nextdoor. Only issue was one of our river tubes came without a valve stopper and didnt work and we didnt find out until we got to the river and had to return the tube we bought but they were great and gave full refund.

Clean store. Helpfully staff. Had what I was looking for in stock. I recommend signing up for the emails as they have good discounts every week

Big 5 has everything you need for your outdoor adventures. The camping area will completely outfit you for a weekend in the woods. They also have sports equipment, shoes, boots and top brand names. The staff here is knowledgeable and very helpful. I enjoy shopping at Big 5 because no matter what it is that I need for my athletic activities, I know they will be able to get me ready for skiing, swimming, running, hiking, soccer, camping and all of my other fun activities.

This place hasnt changed. Same good quality service since the 80s when I first started going here. Maybe a different location but feels the same. I always go to Big 5 first and almost always they have what I need.

Big 5 here in Concord is great!! They might not always have the best selection, they sure do have great prices and service. I bought my mom a way cool pair of retro sunglasses from this Big 5, cool.

I like to call out excellent service when I find it and Michael took real good care of me! I was able to find exactly what I was looking for almost immediately thanks to his help! Then on my way out to my car, I saw him on his way back from helping an old lady carry a heavy box out to her car. That is service above and beyond!

Its a Big 5...what more can I say? What I like about this Big 5 more so than others is that all the employees are genuinely nice/friendly. Ive had many conversations with several different employees. Each one was different but kind and paid attention to my questions. That attention to detail and nice customer service is why Im giving this Big 5 a 4 out of 5.They could do a better job keeping the place stocked though. Every time I shop for fishing gear, it looks like they are low on lures, bait, etc.

The lady at the front register was very nice and the guy who helped me pick out my knife was very helpful and nice! They also have really good deals on nice if you guys were interested!

Very organized and clean store. Enough parking available but not to ample. You can find everything you can imagine and with the coupons you receiving the email you did a pretty good deal too.

Super helpful. Came in looking for fishing lures and the guy helping us not only gave us great recommendations lure wise, but also locations and general fishing advice. I dont live in the area, but if I did this would be where I would go.

If you need sporting goods or shoes and youre not picky about quality this place has a large variety of inexpensive items. Dont go here to outfit a polar expedition but its fine for a growing boys sneakers or a tennis racket for the casual player.

Big 5 is my go to place to get my low cost shoes. Friendly sales staff, helpful. Not big but can find what I need.

3/23/18Bought some snowboarding gear mid season and so youre not gong to find any deals on snow days. Knowing that, we purchased awesome $169 mens jacket, $120 womens jacket, and $100 mens pants. Loved our purchases and theyve been great in very cooks weather this season. Were staying dry and warm!Zakk at the register was friendly and made good conversation as he rang us up. Big 5 has great deals all the time and I love their emails of one-day sale items, though I usually see them after its too late. This location is well-organized and well-staffed. Friendly, helpful service all around .

Very friendly staff. This strip mall seems to be struggling and with the competition from Sports Basement (much better value IMO), Im glad to see Big5 is still doing well. They handled my return well and I used my store credit with out a hassle. Overall, the staff seems eager to help and I will return.

It is s place that I like, reasonable selection of wide variety sporting goods.

Buying a pair of shoes, suggested from another big 5 store, (Only this store had my size), so we drove here did the quick purchase.

Have been a long-time customer; great prices on hiking boots. Decent selection of firearms, sports gear. Staff is very friendly (except the manager). Bought a 22lr carbine here from the manager a year ago. But this same manager could be a lot less snooty, which he was several times when I asked him about ammo. I know ammo is hard to come by, but shaking his head like I am a bother is behavior unbecoming of a manager of a retail store. And I bought $500 carbine...FROM HIM mind you. I wish his regional manager sees this. Hes really not a bad person, but needs to check his attitude from time to time.
