I took my truck in to get the hood, side panel and cab top painted. I was extremely pleased with the customer service that was provided upon my initial visit. A quote was provided in a timely fashion and the appointment scheduled shortly there after. When I picked up my 14 year old truck all I can say is my truck looked awesome. He repaired and painted the rear bumper of my 10 year old car. He matched the paint perfectly and no one would ever see a blemish. I usually take my car to a shop in Indian Trail, but since I moved I decided to try someone close by me. I read most of the reviews and it made me feel safe to drop of my car. I dropped my car off on Monday morning and I picked it up the next day (Tuesday) in the afternoon. I cant find a picture on how my bumper looked, but from the accident I had the car left scratches & a dent which it cracked. Well here are the after pictures. They did an awesome job. If I could give them 6 Stars I would. I stopped by to see if they could fix my front bumper that I scratched when I pulled the license plate bracket off. They went above and beyond to see that it was in pristine condition before I left! Scratches were removed and my bumper looks 10 times better. They just gained a new customer. Very pleased! I had my whole truck repainted July 2020 and Im very happy with the results. After 20 years, Im washing it like its a brand new truck again! May 2021: Going back to get the hood repainted as a result of road debris (a ratchet from a ratchet strap came off a Loving Companies trailer and put two dents/chips on the hood).

Had a hit and run oh my car and was referred to this body shop to replace a mirror at one time from a separate accident. Had extremely good service the first time with a mirror and then secondly had an awesome experience with a full rebuild on my left rear corner where somebody hit my car. He was always up-to-date called every time there was an issue and any kind of setbacks because of shipping parts or anything I was told the same day. They work freely with the insurance company and I had zero issues through the whole experience. Needed a repair on my bumper from an accident I was involved in a few weeks ago. I had never used Ricks before, but a family member recommended them. So even though I lived outside of Concord, I decided to give them a try. If you are like me, I tend to be very picky about who works on my car and I just wanted someone to be honest with me about the damage. Well, let me just say that Dusty was wonderful! He repaired my bumper the way I asked and it was the easiest experience I have ever had with a car repair. I feel that I was treated fairly and Dustin didnt make me feel as if I was an unreasonable woman who didnt know what I was talking about. He explained everything that needed to be done and why. So even if you do not live in the Concord area, Ricks is worth the drive! You will not regret it.

My rule with body shops: Always go to one with a first name in it. Ive been to a Bobs, a Toms, and a Bills, but Ricks impressed me the most, by far. Dropped my car off Friday; he took it in immediately, and I picked it up less than 24 hours later.Also, when something minor bothered me about the job, Rick himself, got down and wet sanded/compounded the entire bumper for two hours, free of charge.I hung out with Rick for a bit, and learned a bit about his brand. His father opened the shop in the 50s, so he is second generation, and will soon pass it onto his son, who has also been working there for 22 years. Body work is what they do, and it shows.If youre seeking a good price from an honest, local business, this is the shop youre looking for.

I highly recommend Ricks Paint & Body Shop. They fixed my body damage, matched the paint color which was extremely difficult but they insisted on getting a perfect match, hand painted the pin strip, and dealt with the insurance and adjusters as needed. Due to the paint color, it did take a little longer than they planned, but what amazed me the most, was the care they took to produce excellent work AND the timely updates when they needed a little more time. I truly cannot identify the area where the damage occurred. And these days, it is extremely rare to find a business that keeps you informed without the customer having to follow up. Dusty is just awesome!!

Ive taken 2 very older cars here that are hard to come by, let alone do body work on. Both times these guys did an amazing job, restoring the cars to just how they should be. Very quick and honest crew here.

I took the spoiler off of my 2013 Hyundai Genesis 2.0T over to Ricks because the clear coat had been peeling off something fierce and the paint was all faded. The paint was a funky bright red but within a week I had it back and it matched the paint on the rest of the car to a T and had absolutely no traces of drip or spray-over. Excellent work and excellent folks as well! Highly recommend!

I brought my 2016 Tacoma in so Rick could look at the step bars that needed a paint job. He took the time to answer all my questions as I am very particular about my truck.Rick looked at the step bars and said he could make them look better than the original paint job. He made a recommendation as to what type of paint he would use to give me the look that I wanted.Rick did the job and I was most pleased with the results. I recently took my vehicle to be painted. The factory clear had begun to oxidize and peel. Dusty was very knowledgeable about the paint and clear options and what would be most cost effective for me. I brought in my 1989 Ford Bronco in to have the driver side door adjusted since it was binding on front fender due to either a tow or recent work by a local dealership. I met Rick in the driveway and we both looked at it. It was great talking to Rick. He is a very personable guy and I could tell he would do everything he could to get it fixed. Rick gave me a fair price for a job that I knew would not be easy since door had to be removed an re-aligned. Rick is passionate about what he does and enjoys talking to people. I would definitely use Rick again on any one of the 4 vehicles that I own including the Bronco.

Second time we have had Rick & Dusty do optional body work on separate cars. First time was a charm (total paint job to turn a 2001 Toyota Aavlon into a brand new car!) and second was returning normal nicks and road wear back to new car condition (2009 Lexus). Neither were insurance claims so we were careful financially and ended up 100% satisfied with both jobs and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and give these guys an opportunity at your business. Great work. Father and Son business partners. Both very cool and knowledgeable about their profession. Back their work 100%. On Old Charlotte Rd [has a visible sign with Ricks Paint & Body Shop... also, a new addition has been added to the sign for more auto work. They will quote you a price and stick to their pricng; sometimes they even do additional work at no cost, but they always inform on price increases or decreases.

Went here to get an estimate for painting the new door I put on my truck. Turned out to be the cheapest estimate I received. The second lowest was almost $600 more than this shop! I dealt with Dusty personally, very friendly and helpful. I was hesitant to try this shop just because I thought the price seemed too good to be true, but I’m glad I did! Paint turned out perfect and even matched really well with the rest of the truck. No blending necessary. Very timely with updates on the status of your job, and very honest about any setbacks so that you’re not left wondering what’s taking so long. I would absolutely refer any friends or family to this shop without hesitation. I’ll definitely be back should I find myself needing any paint or bodywork done in the future.

I went into the shop to get an estimate to repair the front bumper on my jeep. Dusty explained the different options for replacement parts and thoroughly explained the acronyms associated with the parts. The price of the repair was right in line with the average for the area. Dusty didnt try to sell me work that I did not need. He was able to get the parts in the same day and completed the repair the following day when I dropped my jeep off. My passenger door was keyed on my silver 2014 Camaro. I received a quote from Rick that was very reasonable and brought my car in a few days later. When I dropped it off in the morning, he said it would be done at the close of business the following day. I asked about custom painting a few others parts since the car would be in the shop anyway and they provided a fair quote, which I accepted, and they had the car done right when they said they would. The results are outstanding!!!! My car looks better than ever, and they even took care of a few small dings that were on the same door of the car when I bought it, as well as a small scuff on the front bumper.About a week later, I added a new axle-back exhaust on the car, which I bolted on in my home garage. One of the bolts were to clamp the new exhaust onto the factory exhaust pipes. I hand tightened them as much as I could, but a few days later, I noticed they were moving a bit and had come loose. I called Rick after work that day and told him and within 30 minutes, he had my car up on the lift and fixed the exhaust, no cost or complaints.Rick and his son Dusty are excellent guys to deal with and do fantastic work at a great price. They are a business, but will treat you like family. You will not regret having your car repaired at Ricks!!!!

My repair was minor but they really did a great job! I had a busted side view mirror and trim was broken on my rear door. They were very upfront about the parts cost and the labor cost was way more than fair. They got the work done within a week (including ordering parts, painting and installing). On the day that I needed to pick up my car my ride wasnt available until later in the day so I decided to walk (I only live 4 miles away) but when they called to see if I was coming and I told them I was walking they immediately jumped in the car to come pick me up. They were not only phenomenal at their turn time and quality of work but they truly care about their customers. They treat you like family! They definitely deserve more than 5 stars!

Ricks Paint and Body Shop painted my car over a year ago, and it looks as good as the day they delivered it to me! I drive a 1997 Jeep Cherokee with very low mileage, but the paint was peeling in areas due to the age of the car. Ricks painted my car and even put the pin stripes back. My car looks FANTASTIC!!! Rick and Dusty are great. They will take care of you and will do a great job on you car. I hit a deer and they were able to get it taken care of in a few days and even worked 2 day on it that they were going to be closed to get it finished.

This shop earns all the five star ratings. They did excellent work on my wife’s Prius. Rick kept us informed through the whole process. Great, honest guys to do business with. Would definitely recommend.
