My visit was to drop off my prescription that Ive not been able to get filled anywhere else due to a backorder on this particular med. Well, low-and-behold they had it and even more helpful, the discount I received was awesome considering the fact that I dont have insurance. Also the pharmacists were helpful and professional and unlike every other pharmacy it only took them 15-20 minutes tops to fill the order. Great job and I will be happy to recommend Winn-Dixie on Macon Road in Columbus, GA. to anyone who might ask

Well managed store with full shelves well-stocked. Isles are clear of stockers, boxes, and displays. Produce and meats are fresh and well presented. Cashiers friendly and plenty of employees willing to answer questions. Low sodium items clearly marked.

I really enjoy the weekly specials and discounts. Im on a fresh fruit and vegetable diet and a limited amount of fish on the weekend. So I went to purchase some salmon fillets and shrimp. I was disappointed when I got ready to prepare the salmon 😩, it was not fresh at all, I returned the salmon with no problem. The shrimp 🍤 was delicious. I always get them steamed with the Cajun season.

Staff is wonderful and as always very helpful in finding that specific item your looking for but always seem to overlook it by yourself, and as always the store is clean and well organized.

I have frequented this location for several years as it has the ideal balance of convenience, selection and service. Not perfect (but what store is?)- a solid 4 stars. However, recently there have been issues with the coupons that print on the bottom of your receipt - system indicates they have already been used when attempting to redeem. I spent $250 in one trip this past week-end and the system would not allow me to redeem an exclusive/valuable $15 off $75 purchase coupon (nor 3 others). Im generally not that person but that is a significant loss and the primary reason I planned this grocery trip at Winn-Dixie specifically. It was caused by their own system issues and I was made to feel like I was attempting to commit fraud. Cashier mentioned there had been several issues with these coupons recently- so beware!I attempted to escalate and store manager did not come out to speak with me directly - instructed employee to give me phone # to corporate to address. Corporate resolved by adding coupons to my rewards account so all is well now (so long as there are no issues redeeming those) but the whole situation left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Very unfortunate but as a manager myself, I feel this could have been handled in a more appropriate manner.

I picked up my medication and got my dinner from the deli. They always have good and fresh food. I ordered mac n cheese, green beans and baked chicken. The food tastes like its homemade

This Winn Dixie on Macon Rd is so much better than the one on Veterans Parkway! There is no comparison! The store is clean, very friendly staff with a very nice manager Mr Short! All employees wear mask as required by Winn Dixie Corporate! I have to go a little further to get to this store but is worth it since Veterans Parkway Winn Dixie is awful! Very bad management on Veterans Parkway and it shows. Employees and manager on Veterans Parkway do not wear a mask even though it is required by the Winn Dixie Corporation and the store is dirty! DONT GO TO VETERANS PARKWAY WINN DIXIE! GO TO MACON RD WINN DIXIE IT IS SO MUCH BETTER!

I havent shopped Winn Dixie in decades because of some unpleasant experiences... but Ive moved to a location where it is closer and more convenient than my favorite store (Publix). I like that they no longer require purchasing two items to get BOGO or 2 fors... but dislike having to have a WD card to get sale prices. I do not find regularly priced items to be any better priced... although there are some good finds on the dollar isle. I find the cashiers to be exceptionally pleasant so far and I really like how they gather your bags and hand them to you. The store is clean and well maintained. Four stars because of the card requirement.

The associate said I should talk to the store Mgr The store manager came to me with no mask and apologized rudely but said it was out of his control cause they cannt order product right now. Great place the get sale at. They have a lot of buy one get one. Even and a part where they have a lot of this is for a dollar at in the store. The only down side is it had to find a grab bag of chips the small ones they dont see to have them. But others then that a good stores to stop by.

Definitely my favorite place to go grocery shopping. The quality and customer service is better than a Walmart for example and their prices are lower than publix. I always get my meat products from Winn-Dixie or publix. I dont trust Wal-Mart meat.

The stores printed hours on the door says it open at 0700. This sore had customers outside the store waiting to get in well beyond 7 a.m. no hurry to open and watched us wait from the outside. Where is this good service? Do better.

Just tried their fried chicken and must say it is the absolute WORST that I have ever had. The crust was as hard as the concrete in my driveway and the meat tasted as if it had been on the heat table all day. For the price I paid for it I feel like I was mugged, NEVER again!

Couldnt find trash bags

I regularly shop at Winn-Dixie each week. So in general, I am a fan of the store. Recently, I was truly disheartened to find that the store does not honor its ads. I tried to purchase an item in the store at the advertised price, but I was told that there was a misprint, and that they would not honor the price. I spoke with the night manager, store manager, and their customer service, and no one seemed to think that there is a problem with not honoring their ads. They said that they would escalate my issue to the district manager, but it has been over a month, and no one from the company has bothered to contacted me. So not only do they not honor their ads, they do not keep their word.
