There aren’t a lot of vegan donut options in Columbus - and of the few available most seem hard to find (only at farmers markets on select days, at pop ups, sell out quickly...) It’s very exciting to have good yeast donuts available daily in a set location (also conveniently co-located with lots of other delicious vegan things in the North Market).

My boys and I look forward to these donuts every trip we make to Destin. They’re a cake like donut that taste deep fried. I’m not even a major fan of donuts, but I can’t get enough of these. Don’t let the small size fool you because these little guys are heavy and filling. Oh so many yummy options.The delivery charge was well worth having these delivered in the rain.

I love em. The only things is that you must consume them within 24 hours or they will go bad. Bad as in stale taste. Even if they are kept in boxes. Beside that, they are delicious.

Nice big, flavorful donuts. We tried the raspberry hibiscus, lemon blueberry, samoa, and another flavor I cant remember. All the flavors were delicious and the donuts were fluffy and moist.

We look forward to these donuts every time we visit Columbus! You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors, but the Butterscotch Sea Salt is absolutely delicious. I think we crave these donuts all year after visiting, it’s hard to explain why they are so good. They are also super friendly there to top it off.

Very eye catching, colorful donuts.. tasted delicious too. Service was top notch.. the guy helping us was very patient in explaining the various flavors with us.We discovered that he mistakenly gave us the wrong flavor when we went outside to eat them and he gave us the right flavor without any fuss for free. Appreciate the great customer service!

Let me start by saying Im not a huge fan of donuts but when I saw these donuts displayed I felt compelled to try them and let me tell you that I do not regret spending 3 dollars on this donut at all. I got the lemon blueberry donut and it was fantastic, the donut was super fluffy and the frosting was delicious. Must try if you are at north market.

I am a donut lover. Without exaggeration, these are my favorite donuts. Voodoo donuts in Portland, OR are second. The Holy Donut In Portland ME are third. Light, chewy, and topped with delicious flavors. Chocolate hazelnut, blueberry lemon... even flavors I don’t think I’ll like (pistachio apricot, hibiscus) turn out to be incredible.

These donuts were soooo amazing. We got a few to try - raspberry hibiscus, lemon blueberry, maple, and butterscotch. Our favorites were the raspberry hibiscus and the butterscotch.

Their donuts are just delicious! Each donut cost 3$ because all the flavors are natural and they use quality ingredients. No additives and no preservatives. They are the best. And the donuts are so big!!!

My wife and I were driving through and were in the mood for something sweet. This place definitely did not disappoint and I would highly recommend trying the donuts.

Although it didnt carry cake donuts, with the exception of some relatively large blueberry donut holes, the donuts are fairly perfect - not overly sweet and fairly large. The banana cream donut was a masterpiece! Note that there only start being discounts at a dozen.

These donuts are delicious! I only gave 4 stars, because I do like a lighter dough better, BUT that’s not what these are intended to be. The dough tastes like a brioche base. They have an INSANE chew that’s so satisfying and they are not dense or cake like at all. The butterscotch sea salt is divine! The balance of sweet and salty was perfect. They’re not over glazed at all! I’m obsessed with the Doughnut Plant in NYC. These are a as close as I can find in Columbus. Like I said, it’s a different base to a super light donut, but still yeasty and delicious. Don’t want it to be something it’s not designed to be. 😉 AMAZING!

This was my first time at Destination Donuts and I was happy with their donuts tastes, but didnt enjoy their donut texture. It was a bit too cakey and bit dryer than I expected.I do recommend trying their raspberry hibiscus donut, the icing was delicious!Their donuts were $3 each, but theyre about the size of 1.5 regular donuts.I think I would come back to try the other flavors, but its not a place I would consistently come back to.Staff was very friendly and gave me her favorite donut flavor (the hibiscus) and I did like it!

These are soft but not crumbly, the smell is yeasty and fresh. The lemon blueberry was fantastic and Id eat another, the dueling vanilla wasnt very vanilla-y at all... The thing I loved most about them is that they werent overly sweet so I didnt feel sick after eating a whole one by myself. I will seek these donuts out when were in town again!

Love the donuts, especially Blackout and cinnamon donuts, staff is really nice and friendly, everything is clean and well served. Great place to get a sweet.Only thing is you have to check on its Facebook account to see the menu, due to it change every day.

They dont sell donuts. They offer Morsels of Heaven. They sell glimpses into the energy that creates galaxies and worlds, stars and nebulae, flowing generously onto the palate, labeled with names like Red Hibiscus and Lemon Blueberry. Be prepared for a textured supernova, for particle anti-particle annihilation at your taste buds. New planets will be formed.But seriously, these donuts are so fresh and delightful with just the right balance of tart and sweet. The lemon blueberry had hints of a Chinese pastry from childhood in 80s L.A. Chinatown that I cant even name. The dough is spongey soft, generously bouncy like a pin up bust, and I can breathe eating these--i.e., not deep fried. You can motorboat a strippers chest, or you can eat this donut. Same same. Except the donut may go a little deeper in your psyche. Go get one NOW.

There was almost no selection by the time I got there. So I had to choose a regular donut chocolate icing and sprinkles. It was the most moist donut I think I have ever eaten but had no flavour. I really wasnt impressed with the donut I might try a different donut if they have them ready the next time but I would definitely not try the chocolate icing sprinkle

The dough is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, so heavy. As if the recipe tester had never eaten a donut before. We paid $3/each ($12 for (4)). No one could finish a whole one. For those of you who like a light, perfectly fried, melt-in-your-mouth donut...this is not your place. Taste was good tho.

Drove quite a way to get there and paid for parking with a rude attendant. This is located in the market and they only have like 5 different doughnuts and there is way more dough than glaze. Wont be going back.

Went 2 hours before they were supposed to close and not a single doughnut to buy. While one person was there making a batch for what it looked like tomorrow told us they wouldnt make anymore for today. I dont enjoy driving 25 min to be told there are no more donuts when you advertise you sell them until 5.

Super yummy as always. Got lemon blueberry (glaze was nicely balanced and flavorful), salted butterscotch (more subtle but my favorite), and vanilla cream dream (lovely chocolatey ganache topping).

This donut shop offers some pretty unique flavors that theyre constantly switching up. They make an incredibly fluffy yeast donut with near perfect texture, but it has a noticeably doughy taste to it. The toppings and flavors seem to be spot on for the most part. I am a well-travelled donut enthusiast so I dont mind paying high prices for high quality donuts. However, these are far inferior to most donuts Ive paid $3 for, and its blasphemous that ONE slightly bigger donut hole costs $2. Columbus definitely has better options that Destination Donuts for high-quality donuts.

Be careful, you may get addicted. I learned about this place last fall and have become a regular customer. Yes the donuts are a little on the expensive side, but they are so worth it. I come for the vegan options, which are plentiful, wish they would just make all the flavors vegan since they are so bomb. Raspberry with chocolate drizzle, you are my weakness, brings me to my happy place!!

My favorite doughnut place in Columbus. I visit every Sunday morning. Their doughnuts are unlike any place Ive ever tried. Theyre pillowy soft, dont taste fried, the flavors are incredible, and they offer vegan options.

This place is amazing!!! They have some amazing vegan donuts. I was skeptical at first but since I have had many vegan donuts from NY. I thought if they were bad how can a small place in Columbus Ohio be any good? The donuts were not oily like the ones in NY and they had a variety of flavors. Definitely going back the next time I am in town.

Raspberry Hibiscus- What a fun donut flavor! With a curious combination of fruity and floral, I really enjoyed this. The texture was moderately fluffy for the normal donut and one of the smaller donut holes was even better in both the flavor and texture department. The ability to buy some milk to go along with it was another fun little bonus. It is worth coming for the variety of flavors.

Maybe me and my family came on the wrong day where the staff forgot to add something, but the doughnuts we got were completely tasteless. it basically tasted like raw dough, and the only thing that was sweet was the chocolate and sprinkles on top. however, those didn’t do much to help the flavor. ive heard people go crazy over these but when my family had them, it was the bare minimum for a doughnut...maybe we should give it another chance but if it ends up tasting the same like last time, this place is not for me.

Dueling Vanilla and Butterscotch Smoked Sea Salt, strongly flavored but not too overwhelming, flavors which have really interesting undertones compared to a standard-issue donut. Just great taste overall. Definitely a bit pricey compared to average grocery store donuts tho. Guy who helped me was pretty friendly.

Blackout (left) was my favorite, chocolate bacon was okay, and double vanilla is always good. Very busy this morning...felt like a third of the patrons were in line.

Destination are the best and only donuts worth visiting in downtown Columbus. No other donut place is as walkably close and reliably satisfying.I regularly stop for a donut around the city, and while Buckeye are iconic for the University neighborhood, the Arena district has Destination. And they really are a destination.Big, fluffy donuts with just enough give in them to make for a satisfying bite, and flavor selections that span traditional to fantastic. On top of that, if youre not feeling a full donut, they have three bite or so nibblers with a new flavor daily, so you can grab one or two alongside a main meal inside North Market if thats your thing.They are a fixture in my Columbus.

Ive never encountered an unfriendly employee here. Everyone is so wonderful, friendly, and fun. Ive gotten so many people hooked on these donuts for how delicious they are. My one and only donut place in town.

The most expensive underwhelming basic donuts Ive ever had. Bought 6 different flavors and spent 22$. The black and white donut is just a plain donut with chocolate on top. Wheres the white? Apparently the donut is the white??? And the donut itself is so dense its almost cake. Donuts are meant to be light. And soft. Not thick and dense. The vanilla donut is just a glazed. As is the butterscotch. Cant taste the butterscotch at all. Will never spend my money on sad donuts.

I really appreciate that they offer vegan donuts and visit them at least a couple times a month to indulge- dont see that stopping any time soon. The only other place Ive seen vegan donuts offered was at Voodoo Donuts in Denver (also highly recommend). I feel very lucky to have Destination Donuts here in Columbus

3 different donuts on three different days and all of them were raw in the middle. I could literally make dough balls with the inside. They taste great (the flavor is there) but they just don’t realize that large donuts mean long cook times. If you do go, get the earl grey bites as they are the smallest option and more likely to be cooked through.

They only had blueberry, chocolate bacon and butterscotch sea salt. Wish they had additional options. We tried the Chocolate Bacon and Butterscotch with Sea Salt. The doughnuts were fluffy and moist. The butterscotch tasted off to me. The chocolate bacon was delicious. 🍩🥓 Was our favorite!

Destination Donuts is a good destination for donuts in North Market. There were some creative flavors -- had a salted toffee and a spherical citrus-flavored donut -- and they were pretty good. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were a tad bit high.

These donuts are absolutely beautiful. I have drooled over them several times and finally got to try two of their flavors. Unfortunately they have very little flavor and this is coming from someone that even likes plain donuts without glaze or toppings of any kind. We ate the toppings and threw the rest away.

Tried the chocolate frosted with sprinkles and the strawberry and blueberry nibblers. The nibblers were great, had a good crunch on the outside and nice and soft on the inside.

The vegan vanilla glazed was the best donut I have ever eaten...ever. It was fluffy and not overly sweet -- but still completely satisfied my craving. I didnt even realize it was vegan! But the staff made the experience. Aaron and Alyssa were so friendly and funny! Id make the 5 hour trip back to Columbus just to have a donut and chat with them.

AMAZING vegan donuts. But be warned, the vegan options are NOT marked, which I have seen other companies do as well. I understand that they may not want non-vegan customers to be put off by the vegan options (who knows why, but some people would be), but the problem then is the vegan donuts may be sold out to non-vegans, leaving actual vegans with no options. To avoid this, arrive early for the freshest picks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

These donuts are fine and edible but every flavor Ive had from here has been very bland and lacking in toppings. Im also not sure if this is how DDs donuts are supposed to be, but the texture of the donuts are chewy and stale-feeling. For $3/donut, I would recommend going to literally any other local donut place in Columbus to find something truly tasty.

Vegan donuts and regular donuts taste the same and AMAZING! My daughter with dairy and egg allergies was able to eat her first donut. I recommend the lemon blueberry!

Very disappointed with the cost to quality of these donuts. Very bland and tastless almost with the consistency of an edible sponge. Apologies to people who enjoy these. Moving from Western NY 14 years ago we have yet to find our go-to donut joint in Central Ohio. Any recommendations are welcome😉

Very good. I was afraid theyd be dry bc they are so large but when I got there the line was long, and donuts were fresh. Mine were even still a bit warm. Very moist, fluffy inside. The chocolate bacon needed more icing, or maybe a filling, lots of dough not enough icing for flavor. The mocha was perfect. Considering how large they are $3 is a good price. I will be back.

I was down in Columbus for a conference and wandered over to the North Market for lunch. These donuts looked so good that I took the leap and got one based on the recommendations of sweet girl that worked there. I tried the Raspberry Hibiscus donut which was great! I wish there had been more glaze for the donut because it was quite yummy. I went back the next day and got a White Chocolate/Oreo Donut. Dipped in Oreos and covered in a white chocolate glaze, it was heaven. The donuts are 3 dollars, and quite large. You can easily split one with a friend if feeling generous.
