I had to take 3 stars back because of how me and my little cousin were treated being there and we go there multiple times not sure why this time was so different maybe because we were testing a product we had planned on buying and it was seen as us using the product which was not the case because again we were going to purchase it.. At first I was in awe with the place now I take my business to the other ones!!

Customer service is not the best. The male owner and one employee were very helpful and nice. Everyone else was very rude. Bad experience!

They steal your money go against there own policy sell hair that as been touch and ran through and will not take hair back even when it states you can exchange with receipt within 10 days in original package reason being because of COVID but then again they are selling wigs that are sitting out which can have Covid germs please explain to me how that makes any sense you can’t try on the wig to see how you look with it on never will ever get my business again then always they want to argue back with the customer not professional following me in the store after I stated I was leaving why are following me as I leave out the store wish I give no stars unprofessional at the finest

A lot of items to choose from. If you need any kind of hair product this is the place to shop. They even have purses and hand bags. The main thing I seen here is hair extensions and wigs. So if this is what youre looking for you know where to go.

First time in the store I discovered that this is the place for $1 Earrings and they do not look Cheaply made. There is a Wide variety of hair extensions, wigs, and various Black Hair Care Products. The store is clean ,neat, and well-lit.

So this was my 3rd time there. Big Store, I didnt like how some of the employees was following different customers around the Store. They dont greet you when you come in the Store. Some items the price ok,some over priced. They almost over charged me on some hair I was buying. I had to show the Cashier the sale sign. She didnt believe me. Then she did a price adjustment and said she was sorry.

Most of the times Im in the store nobody ask you if you need any help.. But when they are about to close they follow you around and say we are closing until you check out. And the time they close is wrong online

Went there for a few items. The service was amazing & they actually treat their customers with respect! They don’t hound you or follow you around, or make you feel like you’re being watched! The prices are awesome too! Also love that the 161 location is really close to my house!!

I come here all the time for little odds and ends beauty supplies. Today, though, I had to make a larger purchase. However, my 3-year-old was with me, and she told me she had to potty. I asked the employees if they had a restroom, and they replied that it is not open to the public. I explained to them that my daughter is potty training and she cant hold it. They maintained that its not for the public. So, I picked my daughter up and literally ran with her to the nearby buffet. Thankfully, they had basic human decency, and my daughter didnt have to wet herself because of the lack of a public restroom. I mean, the employees here have never been great with customer service, but this was too far. I will never shop at this store again. That was just despicable.

The WORST HAIR STORE IN THE WHOLE OF COLUMBUS ... I was there 2 weeks ago and was disrespected by both their workers so when I left I called to speak with their manager and I kept being rudely hanged up on so I went back to return the things I bought as I will not be putting my money into an a place like that and to make matters even worse, the owners were more concerned about the money they were going to lose rather than hearing me out (even though they told me straight to my face that they’re making enough money in a day and not losing anything). They even allowed their worker to go back and forth with me and then one of the Asian owners proceeded to disrespect me further on my way out. Mind you, this was a place that I ALWAYS patronized but they didn’t care and acted out their shameful acts in front of other customers to the point that the other customers had to tell them to stop being unprofessional. It was a very terrible experience for me. And we as blacks, we are our own biggest downfall because the two employees who started the problem are blacks but those Asians don’t care because they know that we are already divided as a people and could care less when our dollar is not involved. I felt discriminated against as I believe that if I was a white woman or another race, I wouldn’t have been treated that bad. Without Black money, these Asian Beauty supply owners would be in POVERTY but yet they want to disrespect us to our faces ... and the less than smart ignorant black folks who work there are no better. Never forget who you are especially when you are dealing or working for racist ppl. They are only using you and paying you less than minimum because majority of y’all are not even legal in this country so you just take whatever you can get. These same ppl can spit on you and dispose you at any time. You are no different in their eyes than any other blacks but those workers are too dumb to know that. They are violating major laws just by hiring you guys to work there. It was literally the worst experience and it will surely catch up to them.

Very bad customer service. I witnessed an older male employee say FU to a customer. The cashiers and Supervisor looked and said nothing as the employee stormed away. I asked if the owner was present and if I could speak to him since the supervisor allowed this behavior to occur without resolution. I was told the owner wasn’t there but a shipment came in that he needed to sign documents and all of a sudden he was there. This behavior is scary and should be addressed right away. This aggression with a person that is not mentally stable could lead to danger. They need to be more professional!

I go into this location often, my biggest issue is I always have to track someone down if I need help. The employees are often gathered in one area talking. The last time I was there the cashier talked on her phone throughout the transaction, only stopping to give the total. As we walked away my daughter loudly said thank you, this made the cashier say have a good day. The location is clean but set up a little weird making it hard to find some things. And although its relatively new they have rearranged a time or two, which is nerve racking. If they manage to get the same type of customer service as their other locations theyll be in good shape.

Ive only been once, first time buying a wig and I cant remember the names of the girls who helped me out but they were fantastic and didnt make me feel stupid for my lack of wig knowledge! They literally have everything but the kitchen sink! (I didnt check the back though, they might have that too). MY GOOOODNESS! Going today as soon as I leave work great prices, great quality, theyve got my coins for life!

I am a white man with a black beautiful women. I have zero experience with hair stuffs. When I walked into this place I was AMAZED at the world of hair. I had NO idea the options. DAYUM. This place is the Walmart of Hair. If you’re new to any of this, be it culturally inexperienced or simply young, this place will be overwhelming. Bring someone to help you.

I did see a lot of stuff that I liked and I bought but the young lady that sold me the Whigs when I pointed out what I wanted I didnt open the package to see what it was but she gave me two of us a different kind of wigs I wasnt satisfied with that but the other stuff that I received and the sales were beautiful.

Be prepared to be blown away by their up to date variety and prices. This store is buy far one of the top five in Columbus and blows its nearest competitors out the water.

WILL NEVER RETURN! Visited this store with my niece who was purchasing hair for box braids. I was attempting to purchase hair for a full sew in. We were also browsing (as this store has a wide selection of hair products, make up, and accessories). We were approached by a staff member who asked us if we needed help and we told her we were looking for and that we did not. Over the next few minutes we were approached by 2 other staff members, and then FOLLOWED by an Asian gentleman until we proceeded to the front to the check out. At one point I even questioned why he was following us and he said nothing and continued. We were treated like common criminals in this location and we will NEVER go back. There have been more than 3 occasions when I have browsed for over an hour at the Hair Depot across the street and the staff was very kind every single time. Did not expect to go into a larger store like US Hair and be followed after browsing the store for no more than 5 minutes. Owners/staff need to learn not to stereotype as it can make honest paying customers uncomfortable and detour them from returning.
