They sell nothing but junk and if your one payment late theyllharass you to no end.If your stuff breaks they will not replace it.I hope they go out of business.Nothing but con artists.

Purchased a washer and dryer. The washer they brought to my home was broken because apparently the lid lock mechanism had been broken off. This indicates they dont even test the equipment before bringing it to the home because it was a very obvious issue that would have been immediately detected if they have even turned the washer on once after receiving it from the previous renters. Fast foward to the second payment. I regrettably was 5 days late on my payment. I expected to pay the payment + the 7.50 late fee associated with late payments which is clearly outlined on the contract. On the 5th day, I contacted the store to make the payment. I was told by the store rep that they refused to take my payment +the late fee, but that they required that I actually make that payment PLUS the next weeks payment, which was not even due yet. I asked if this was in the contract, Godfrey then advised me that it is not, but that is simply how they conduct business. When I told him that I was willing to make the CURRENT payment plus the late fee, and to then make next weeks payment on the due date, he threatened to show up at my house to take the washer and dryer. Consistently refused to accept my payment (even when I offered multiple times to come and pay it in store, as I had cash). Finally, after hanging up on him because he refused to acknowledge their contractual obligations and I refused to make a payment I do not owe, they called back and said they would do me a favor by taking the payment, as if Im obligated to make advance payments when this arrangement exists nowhere in writing. This is a very poor way to conduct business. If you have a customer sign a contract, you are to abide by that contract. Breaking that contract is not a way to do business. It predatory and deceptive. Also, its been 3 weeks and Im still paying for the washer I dont even have.Ive already made to sure escalate to district manager, very interested to see what the reasoning for this is from someone with half of brain, or from someone who at least is able to comprehend how contractual obligations work in the business world. Clearly these highschool grads do not.

WE WERE ONLY 30$ OVER AND 1 WEEK LATE AND THEY WERE KNOCKING AT OUR DOOR AND CALLING US AND THEN TOLD ME IF I DIDNT MAKE A PAYMENT TONIGHT THEY WOULD HAVE TO PICK UP OUR FURNITURE NEXT DAY. MEANWHILE AT THE SAME TIME SAYING WE NEVER MISS A PAYMENT AND ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. SO HOW DARE YOU TREAT A CUSTOMER WHO IS RESPECTING YOUR BUSINESS AND MAKING PAYMENTS LIKE THAT. I FEEL LIKE ITS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. AND ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE FREQUENT RENTERS/CUSTOMERS OF RENT A CENTER . WE HAVE RENTED AND PAID OFF AND NOW OWN PLENTY OF MERCH FROM OTHER LOCATIONS . THE ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE INFORMED ME THAT THEY DONT MAKE HOME VISITS UNTIL A PERSON IS TWO OR THREE PAYMENTS BEHIND. YA MUST BE REALLY THIRSTY FOR PAYMENTS. MUST HAVE ALOT OF DELINQUENT CUSTOMERS HOW EVER , THAT DOSENT OPEN THE DOOR TO HARASS THE CUSTOMERS THAT ARE ACTUALLY MAKING PAYMENTS.ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE GOING TO BE RETURNING OUR FURNITURE NOT BECAUSE WE CANT AFFORD THE PAYMENTS. BUT BECAUSE OF THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF EMPATHY.WE WILL BE BRINGING OUR MONEY TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION.THAT SHOULD SPEAK LOUD TO YOU AS AN OWNER OR MANAGER . A LOYAL CUSTOMER IS WILLING TO THROW MONTHS OF PAYMENTS AWAY BECAUSE OF YOUR UNPROFESSIONALISM .VERY UNHAPPY.

The staff is amazing they treat you as if you were family an smooth process very affordable I love this store you should try them out I promise you wont be disappointed you will leave out the the biggest smile on your face ♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever my rent a center
