Had my rear brake rotors turned/resurfaced to try to alleviate some pulsing brakes I had. Turns out the rears were fine. The machine job they did on the brakes, though, wasnt. Theyre grooved horribly now. They left the brakes worse than they were when I brought them in. Incredibly disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pictures below show the grooves on the brakes. Before I brought them in they were smooth and looking good.

My go to for brakes. They have done 2 full brake jobs for me. No overselling but tell you what you need and what they recommend. Usually in and out within 2 hours. I will be happy when the new Columbia location offers alignments and suspension work like the others. One stop shop is just convenient and I’m sure more profitable. Great guys working there. Very friendly.

Had an appointment for 7:30...they started the work at 7:30. Needed new rotors...in and out in an hour...my new go to place for brakes. Very competitive pricing and nice guys working there.

Staff was great, I trust the work was necessary and done correctly. My only issue was being quoted $90/axel for brakes via phone and being shocked when it ended up as a $900 project.

Im going to give these guys 5 stars! I was unsure at first, they forgot my appointment and they were VERY busy that day so I had to reschedule. Not the end of the world. On my way out the manager called me over and apologized for the mix up and offered me a discount to make it right, thumbs up! When I returned for my appointment the following week both of the guys working remembered me. They took my car back and it was quick service. The costs were explained to me clearly without a push to upsell, and they didnt forget my discount ;) I left a happy customer.

My 2005 Buick Lesabre was braking perfectly, No vibrations , noise, or pulling, but the pads were getting thin so it was time to change. Budget Brakes in Columbia turned my rotors and installed new pads on both front and rear wheels, Car now has a slight noise when brake pedal applied as well as slight shudder. Took it back and they re-turned the front rotors, but there is still the noise and slight vibration when brakes applied. I am in process of redoing the brakes myself as I have never experienced this problem before when I have done the work myself. Ill put it down as an expensive lesson to not believe the tv commercials, and will not recommend Budget Brakes to anyone!
