Its a little weird that they dont offer bags at all but the meat was delicious and affordable. The frozen section has good cheap food too. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it was my first time there and they dont tell you that you have to bring your own bags until youve already paid so I had to walk out with an armful of loose items which was annoying. If they put up a sign on the front door warning you it would have been 5 stars. If they do have a sign somewhere I didnt notice it

I love this place, they have all Latin foods and produce. It’s affordable and have great selection, the customer service is so/so. Some workers are friendly others are completely annoyed and will make it known. Either way I always find what I need.

I had a pretty good experience at this retail location. The store was clean and the shelves fully stocked. Only complaints are about the freshness of the meats and the clerk who checked me out. She was talking in another language to another worker the entire time I was there. Rude. I will probably return here if I need to.

Really horrible customer service! That just rude as hell. No greeting. No thank you. No, asking did you find everything. No guidance. Just poor! They all just looked tired themselves and over the place. Just uncomfortable environment once you get to self check out. The lady who I went to was super rude to the old man. The females side talk about things even when helping customers. Like nobody truly needs to hear your drama 🙄

Pretty good store they are going up in price and they dont have a whole lot of different verity. If you need to grab something quick to eat I would recommend it cause they do have some pretty cheap microwavable/ oven ready foods. They have a large variety of produce but you got to be careful what you pick cause theyre not all top shelf produce.

The store has gone through some updates inside and I see more to come. Which is great. It did look run down before. Always find mexican products. The restaurant inside also have great food. Overall a great store with great prices. Parking lot needs improvement

I hate the ladies that close at night because they allways close 20 minutes before 9 pm. Its now 4 times with the same ladies that do this and they close the door in your face and tell you that its close,I often buy in this store but those type of people should be fired because they dont want to work and once they see you getting of your car they close and start laghing or just stare at you.

This place makes my lifestyle viable financially. It is the cheapest grocery store and I have no complaints about the quality of the products.Seriously, the only reason not to shop is due to your privelige.

The clerk was so nice about cleaning up a bottle of sticky liquid that jumped off the grocery belt as we were checking out. Asian frozen vegetables was a new thing for me to try and suited my guest from Napal.

Good variety of off brand or Mexicos version of things. Fresh fruits and vegetables, butcher and surprisingly awesome bakery. They take food stamps and WIC. Bring your own bags. They charge for plastic bags or you can use an empty box for free. Picture is sweet bread from the bakery.

My mother went to the Camdenton MO store this morning. She has shopped there for years. However, this morning another customer and a female clerk made fun of her for wiping down the pen everyone uses are the check out and wearing a mask. What is wrong with these people? My mom has cancer and is doing what the doctors from KU hospital have told her to do. After she told them this, these two people still mouthed off. I think the clerk should be fired!! That man should be ashamed! Save A Lot, your franchise should be discussed with this Camdenton store! Again, what is wrong with people? Who cares what a person believes about this virus, what happened to being kind and not judgmental? If I could give a 0 star I would. I certainly won’t ever shop at your stores.

I was denied service because I medically cannot wear a mask. I informed the cashier that I legitimately cannot wear a mask and could get a doctors note.Im not an antimasker. My kids wear their masks faithfully. We dont go out unless necessary.I was told by the cashier that she is on oxygen and if she can wear a mask so can I (didnt see an oxygen tank).I was told she can deny service to anyone even though I have shopped their since the pandemic without a mask for th last year. This was not about a mask policy that I was following protocol for. This was about the cashier taking it personal that she has a medical disability and if she can wear a mask so can I!Im not an antimasker just a person with a legitimate medical condition and was refused service even though Im following the Governors orders.Ill never shop here again.

Honestly, I only go to this location because its the only location. Its extremely filthy. Its hit or miss with the staffs some will go out of their way to help you and others just are rude. I have gotten meat from here that really should not be consumed. Meat is one thing I will not buy from here anymore. I have always been a big fan of Save-A-Lot, coming from the south, but I wish they would hire their standards. Just because its a discount store doesnt mean it needs to be this horrible.

The store is clean and the staff are helpful. Its a store for the budget conscious shopper. It is no frills but you get great bargains every day. This stores sells a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at cheaper prices, although its okay, its not of best quality. They have a wide variety of different (non-brand name) canned goods at greatly discounted prices. I saw many different types of flavored soda and canned juices. They daily bake several types of delicious pastries and bread. Much of them cater to the Mexican customers. They have a butcher shop and cut and sell very fresh beef cuts, they sell pork cuts and chicken. I would recommend this store if youre on a tight budget or want to save money. The cashiers are helpful and friendly. They do not offer free plastic or paper but give free boxes. All in all a very pleasant place for groceries.

Is more expensive than Walmart and other places

They got the bakery that has the unique cravings you might be looking for. Plus, an excellent selection of lesser known foods at great prices. Yum.

Just left the store very upset! 12/28/19...Went to buy meat to make a Mexican dish. Meat guy was very rude because of how I wanted three different types of meat for my recipe. At first he said he couldnt do it, Im like wow you have a problem with me. I wanted a pound each three different meats. I had to walk him through as to how to divide the weight evenly. He started throwing the meat! I asked him his name and he spoke very low so the other staff didnt hear what he said, so I took it to be a lie. Reported it to another staff member and gave the meat to her. Ended up buying from the restaurant instead. Want be going back!

I have had a review that I made earlier but I will say again that Save A Lot was very slow in enacting Social distancing. Nobody was wearing Master gloves that work for the store. People were on top of each other. I had to have people in an authoritative manner to stay away from me while I was at the cashier line. I called the manager and threatened to have the health department close them down if they didnt enact inundated more responsible actions to keep people away from each other.

I walk out of the store paying about half the price of what I pay elsewhere.They have a meat counter, produce and a deli in the corner to sit down and eat or order food to go.Everything they have is priced well below what Im used to paying and they have a lot of store brands. While they may not have everything, all of the staple foods are there.Theres a counter loaded with boxes for you to load your groceries into, or you can purchase bags for only a few cents each.Ive done both, but now I keep recyclable bags in the trunk for when I go there

This location (unlike the Northern one) has very good prices for all the products, however just be take caution on fruits and vegetables. You have to sort and get the very best for yourself, I get the impression that they are not as fresh as other supermarkets get.It sell products like an Aldi store does, non brands for good prices. It has a butcher department, fresh meat of your choice at competitive prices.Fresh bread, sweet bread and cakes at competitive prices as well.Their dairy products are vary in good prices to competitive prices. Such as their milk is always at $1.99 per gallon. The eggs very on prices.Bottom line is that if you have to get all your groceries here you are bound to save a lot in deed. Just ensure your expiration dates are good.

Cheap fresh produce! Nice little store with no frills or fancy junk, just what you need. Tons of fruit flavored sodas like pineapple and mango. Good place to get laundry detergent - great prices on the big bags. They had lard in large quantities too which I like mostly for making homemade soaps. Love their spicy pepper selection!!!

The prices are stupid high like $0.99 for 1 pototeo price and the produce especially the fruit is moldy and bad and hidden with in the other fruit. Theres absolutely no bags those cost extra and you have to bag your stuff by yourself or choose the available boxes they have at a table by the registers to use for free. Tons of selection and a place inside to get mexican fast food its not good to me personally but you choose weather or not to try it.

I came in only needing 5 items, line was backed up almost to the dairy products. Two cashiers working the front never asked for help with customer service. They have six check out stands but only two employees working, why? They need an Express line , or self help. Wow, super impressed with how much this store has grown. Lots of low prices on fresh produce, fresh bakery items, and even a meat department. Great selection of Hispanic foods, and has all the grocery essentials of a regular grocery store. They even have a small Mexican restaurant inside.

Its good to buy refrigerator items here milk is 2.25 dollars eggs are $1.99 for 18 of them. If your going for meat however be warn you have a higher chance to get bone bits in the beef. Produce looks somewhat fresh. However this place is cheaper and if you got the kind of money I have ($100 a month​) then this place is great.

Wow. This place has changed. Its like a Hispanic grocery store. So much yummy food and baked goodies! Vegetables and fruits still kind of old. Friendly service and helpful cashier(the reason for the 3 stars). Not so helpful in the meat department or cooked food department. I left the store with sweets. Maybe Ill go back.

Theyve remodeled this location and it is now very clean, nice smelling, and well lit. The new meat counter is large, bright and clean. Very nice, wide selection of Mexican pastries. Prices are still significantly lower than other grocery stores. Bring your own bags or pay for them, and bag your own groceries.

Just went there to shop for the first time. Very clean store, the prices were fantastic. Next time I go Ill try that hot counter out for lunch.

My NEW favorite discount grocery store with generic options that are as good as or BETTER than the expensive store brand name items!Anthony has the produce department looking very inviting! WAY more inviting than the Academy North Store, which I earlier said WAS my favorite. The manager here (didnt catch his name, white dude with arm tats) is a VERY personable, friendly guy. The whole staff seems to get along and help each other.

I was keeping Nd of upset this time cause usually when you buy 50.00 dollars of stuff you would get a gallon of milk now they have raised it 100.00 and for 50.00 you can get cans of tomato sauce but I didnt get anything cause the lady said that there ad had not came out yet! 😕😕
