Our latest update says your store hours were updated as of August 10th but on the Google site it still says you close at 6 pm.EDITED: I am rather surprised that it has taken over a month for Google to update the hours. My husband works with Google business pages and it updates in an hour. You may want to check that. Thanks for your prompt response.

Im only giving one-star because I cant select zero stars! Dont waste your time! I had a basket full of designer clothing, some of which still had tags on it. They said they would text me when my clothes were ready - never received a text. Called the following day and they said, Oh, sometimes our system doesnt work. I went to pick up my items and they didnt take anything, saying it was due to wear and tear! Again, there were brand new items in the basket. Upon further inspection, they only went through the top few pieces of clothing items. Three quarters of the items were still folded and placed exactly the same as when I dropped off the basket. This place is a JOKE! Obviously, they dont know their designers!

They have an amazing selection of clothing for awesome prices. I got a new job that required big girl clothes and had a very limited amount of money. I was able to walk out with a new pair of shoes, a pair of pants, a blazer, and easily 9 tops for around $100. All the items I chose were name brand also, so I feel like I robbed these poor ladies 🤣 Taylor was amazing and really helped me to pick out styles that would fit my body type and personal preferences too. If you shop the racks hard, youll find a ton of great deals!! Thanks again ladies!!

Store associates in the evening used to be helpful but that seems to have been lost. Recently, there were two associates who were more interested in sampling perfume than helping their customers. Customers couldn’t even breath, let alone shop.

I use to love this store! But in the past couple of years it isnt worth my drive from the south side of town. I use to go at least once every other week, sometimes once a week,now I go maybe once every two months. They have an okay selection, but upon comparison I am able to get some items for the same price new at Ross, and sometimes cheaper at Jcpenneys. On name brand purses, I can get them new for the same price at the outlets.The sales they use to have were amazing, now they arent worth the drive. The buying process, not a good one. They say two years old, I have brought in coach purses with several other gently used clothing, to be told they dont buy them, or they are outside the window. I think I would have better luck if I brought in a new coach bag. Im not sure if they changed owners or what happened, but the store could definitely use some improvements.

Brought an entire bag and suitcase full of clothes that are only a year old and have barely been worn. Most of the stuff still had tags on it. When we got all of our stuff back cause they passed it they hadnt looked at or moved any of the stuff at all. All of my clothes in the suitcase were still folded and left in the way that I had organized them. Heard good things about them, but really disappointed that they didnt even take the time to look through our stuff and proceeded to lie to us and tell us they did when nothing was even touched

I went to shop at Clothes Mentor for the first time, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They greet you when you enter and also wish you a good day when you leave. The prices are great and I didnt have to spend an arm and a leg for the clothes I bought. The quality of the clothes was super great, up to date and clean. I told my co-worker to go check them out. I would recommend them to everyone.

Great prices AND they have maternity clothes! The assistant manager helped me and she was super sweet.I was kinda of shocked when I read some of these negative reviews but most sound like they didnt want the customers clothes so.. I mean.. they want to keep the latest and best on their shelves so I cant blame them there!As for a shopper, I will definitely be back! I paid $30 for 5 tops and a pair of jeans which are motherhood brand... new retail would have been around $125.

I love to shop here because they have amazing prices for the brands I love!! I can sell and buy which means I dont have to settle for clothes that dont work for me. Im a size M, but I noticed they have a wide range of sizes. They have dressing rooms, mirrors, and the staff is friendly. I also love the bag selection. Clothes are sorted in a way that makes it easy to find what Im looking for if I want something specific.

Workers are rude (Emily). She had massive attitude and on the website it says they sell all day everyday... Yet emily says they stop selling at 7 when they are still open and have no customers. I don’t see why it would be a problem after 7.

Nice clothes, moderately pricey, but they turn down very nice and expensive clothes often if they dont appear to fit their specific criteria. But thats their model, so if you like what they deal, youll enjoy the store.I would rate them higher than Platos Closet simply because, well, that would belong on Platos review, I guess.Basically, Clothes Mentor is more upscale and has classier items than other resale clothing stores like it in Colorado Springs, regardless of how theyve chosen to stock their shelves.They cant carry everything, so resale shops like these must turn down many high dollar, nice items because if they took everything that fits that description, theyd have no room for customers among the clothes.

The clothes are over priced and most of them worn out. If you try to bring in clothes yes recently purchased and again a lot better looking than what they are selling They did not even look at the items. How this place stays open I will never know.

Mallory and Kristin were super sweet and helpful! They definitely made my experience shopping here great! The prices are great and the choices here are endless. I definitely will be shopping here for all of my clothes and accessories moving forward!

When I came back to see what clothes they wanted to keep the employee never said hi and was not very nice when going over what they wanted. I understand now they are super picky about clothes they buy. But you don’t need to be rude. It was my first time selling and my last. I keep my clothes. I’ve and I buy nice brands so hopefully someone else will appreciate my business.

This place is the absolute BEST!

Totally get it. They only buy what they personally like. Maybe the manager on duty should not be trying on clothes. Waist of my time to go across town. If you dont buy a brand and style than you should not have it on display. Kristen was nice but I doubt that she even knew what I had. Once again, trying on clothes is so much more important than doing a job that you getting paid for. Youre not like when you first opened. Size, style, brand should not be turned down if you have them in the store already to sell. Do you only want brand new items??? Maybe you should open a retail store then a resale store.

Very nice clothes. Great prices on most things. Staff is a bit snobby. But I guess if you dont need help then its fine. Ill still go back because of selection, but Ill be more prepared.

Very hit or miss with selection and selling items. Customer service needs much improvement to bring up the overall feel of the store. I used to love shopping here but its not up to par like when it first opened.

This place is a joke. The staff lies to there customers and tells them they can get top dollar for their belongings and all they need to do is leave the items behind. You have to sign a waiver and give them your photo ID I feel like they profile people coming in and out of this place and dont even take the time to review anything. I walked in with four items. I saw bags behind the counter just left untouched on the ground. The employees stand around and talk. They dont care about going through anybodys things let alone they would rather lie to your face and tell you to leave your things behind just so they can tell you it is not accepted and offer you a coupon so you spend your money. This place needs to change their policy and how they operate as a business and if they tell you it is on a first come first serve basis. They are required to review your items on the spot and tell you if they will accept it or not, just be honest and stop wasting peoples time. They need to be upfront to the customer and not lie to their face. This place needs to hire people who care about the customer and do the job they are suppose to do . I brought in literally four items that could have been easily reviewed and I was told to leave them there for about 3-4 hours?? It does not take 4 hours to review 4 things!! This is not have you operate a business!! I was also told to pick up my belongings 3 hours later when I get a text message from them!!. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. I read some of the reviews posted and this place is horrible, I guess you have to go see for yourself. Good luck! I got the absolute worst customer service experience ever encounter. My note to this place isSTOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS CLOTHES MENTOR!!!

I seriously suggest you go somewhere else to sell your clothes. I brought in lots of name brand brand new items only 2 years old. They say they pay 1/4 of what they will sell the item for and then they dont even pay that. Said she was going to sell the boots for $14 gave me three how is that one fourth I know its only a dollar but still as picky as they are pay me my dollar. Ive already told my neighbors not to even bother to go there I would never shop there glad I only made the mistake once.

Workers are extremely rude and snobby. I asked about certain brands to see if they took them and they said yes, I came back to pick my items up and the next person said they didnt take them. The clothes had little to no wear yet they denied. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Dont waste your time here.

Brought in multiple, name-brand, like-new clothing items and they barely bought anything. Extremely picky, saying my items were outside their two year window (understandable); however, they bought certain items and passed on others that I know I originally purchased on the same day! Also the employee helping me seemed to be new and was very nice, but another employee completely ignored her when she asked a question and would not help her with the computer. Hate to see people treated that way. Super disappointed, overall.

Good store if are buying ... horrible if you are selling. You can expect to receive next to nothing to buy your merchandise. That is if you are lucky enough for them to offer anything at all. And their excuses for passing on your goods is a joke. For example one item I had was a denim jean but was told no elastic waist. Lo and behold I found pants and jeans out for sale with elastic waists. A better option is BETWEEN FRIENDS at Delminico and Woodman. You may have to wait for you money but you will get a fair price. And rhe staff is much friendlier.

Personally not a big fan of this place. It is a nice store, everything is organized yet I do not fancy some of the staff. Some follow you around as if you were going to steal something from them which makes it uncomfortable to look through the clothes. Several of the clothing is over priced compared to other stores. Better of going to Goodwill.

Took in a gorgeous, brand new, never been used, leather, juicy couture purse. The girl at the counter was a bit rude and told me they dont take juicy couture. Then I walked past the purses and what do I see? A juicy couture that was in worse shape than the one I had in my hand. I wished her a good day and told her Id be back to shop and she said/did nothing to acknowledge me. Not going back.

They have amazing clothes at amazing prices but in the 6 or 7 times Ive gone in, Ive NEVER received good service. They are not welcoming or friendly at all. Ive only ever been treated as an inconvenience there. That is just such a hummer because I love the clothes.

Very nice kept, great selections and reasonable prices.

Took about 15+ items in and they said they would look through them. They texted me less than an hour later! I was pleasantly surprised! But I was extremely disappointed in the amount paid...less than $2 per item and some were brand new jeans with tags still on! I might as well donate to charity since theg give next to nothing and it took me over 30 min to drive there. I tried but definitely not worth it!

Good selection of clothes. I would not recommend selling items there. I had several designer items with tags and less than a year old items: Missme jeans, White house black market ect... and they low ball your items. White house black market top that sells for over $50 (new with tags) they offered $2!!!

Staff friendly, but they take almost Nothing! I have tried a few times, brought new eith tags, brands asked for and sizes asking for and have taken nothing. And same reasons...too old wrong style. A few were just from stores currently. Just dont get them. Will not go again. And sadly i have 20 plus bins of clothing from a shop that closed down.

I brought clothes in trying to sell them and see if I could get some extra cash before I donated them. They were all my moms clothes she never wears anymore. The staff at clothes mentor were very informative and friendly. They were also able to check the clothes and quote a price in less than 20 minutes. The only thing was they didnt want to buy any of the clothes because they were older than 2 years old. I know some of the women dress pants I brought in were less than a year old but I guess they dont accept dress pants. Either way they still gave me a $5 discount coupon for taking the time to come in.

SELLER BEWARE!!! I honestly wouldn’t give this business 1star because they are crooks. The two times I’ve brought items to sell I didn’t accept their offer because I would have been basically giving the items away for free. I don’t believe the computer is calculating such a low offer. I have sold to Once Upon a Child and Plato’s Closet and have been offered fairly. I’m not sure what the problem is with this particular location because I have sold to other Clothes Mentor stores nationwide and never had a problem with being cheated. Another thing I would like to share is how I honestly feel the workers may be discriminating because of my race. I tried to sell a MK bag in damn near excellent condition and they didn’t want to buy because of a few hair strands in the purse( hair strands that was easily cleaned out) if you’re thinking of selling go to Plato’s Closet or other Thrift Stores because visiting this store is a waste of time and you will be better off giving your stuff away for free instead of being ripped off!!!!!!!

There was a winter clearance sale today so I decided to try this place. There was no sales racks anywhere in the store so I asked an associate where I could find the deals and she said that everything was mixed in. Also the prices were ridiculously high for a used clothing store. I can buy a pair of designer jeans brand new at Ross for what was being charged here. Never again.
