Visually stimulating shop that is interesting to pick through, a lot of history to observe. Jammed with a variety of novelties and nostalgic bits from all decades - clothes, shoes, music, toys, hifi, jewelry, patches, stickers - with something I would personally own from any of these categories. The record section is great with a lot to choose from both in price and variety, anything used Ive got was in great shape. Definitely fun to go with a friend or two to just browse and listen to whatever is playing. Some might say that it is expensive - I would agree that it isnt price matching eBay or Amazon, but the prices are fair to support a local business in one of the most tourist attracting areas.Some seem to be quite emotional about this establishment requiring a mask. I love that the owner sticks to their guns about this and turns away the whiners. In fact, I greatly prefer it to how I was harangued about my mask by the owner another local record store nearby, who told me I should mind my own business about what other people do before leading into a lengthy diatribe about how me wearing a mask is pointless and I shouldnt do it. I said yeah man, thats why this is the last time youre gonna see me, we prefer people that mind their business so we will just shop at Leechpit. Best of luck!!! If you are easily triggered by masks or a sensitive adult-baby please avoid this great local store that values your health and hygiene!

We made a special trip to Old Colorado city just to check out the Leechpit.. second time going and could spend all day there.. theres so many different things to look at... theres an underlying sense of humor and taste in every thing sold there.. which I appreciate. Even though there were so many different things to look at it was not at all overwhelming or cluttered...Its an awesome spot!!

Used to drive down from Denver when I lived in CO 2010-2017. Whether I left with records or not, they always had a killer mix of albums and goodies throughout the store. They even went out of the way to mail a couple records when they hit the new arrivals. My wife and I still follow their updates and posts. Definitely a stop for anyone in the area.

Its a cool place. Its also a bit pricey. Also some of the merch is just lame dad jokes on articles of clothing or accessories. I guess thats vintage now!

This place is awesome! Staff is very knowledgeable and provides fantastic recommendations. Occasionally I will go in and take recommendations for records and am never left astray.

This place is just the best for everything Vintage, they got toys, vinyl, stickers, clothing, collectible cards and more, and the owner was suuuper cool, nice and helpful. They had an entire section of the store dedicated to Jean Jackets. Nuff said

I want to start out by saying if you are looking for a big box store experience, this isnt the place for you, and that is a good thing. This place could be very dangerous to your wallet if you go in without a plan. The staff were on point, and the owner was very knowledgeable about his product. The prices were more than fair, and the selection of vinyl available was amazing. I would have to say that this place is a must for anyone looking for classic vinyl albums.

Adam is the man! His music and pop culture knowledge is outstanding. He typically under grades records and I have never been disappointed with a purchase. He has recommended multiple bands to me that have become regular in my rotation. Family owned and operated, support local businesses!

I came here looking for a low budget vintage gift. The selection is fantastic but the prices are more than I can afford for my gift exchange. Everything is well organized and the staff was really helpful despite me not being able to get something within my budget.

Very cool shop with lots of vintage items. I could easily spend a couple hours going through everything here. A little on the over pricy side for some things, but others are a bargain.

I have asthma and cannot safely where a mask because my lungs only operate at 65% and wearing one can be potentially harmful to me and can cause an attack. Colorado covid guidelines clearly say that if you cannot safely wear a mask that you are exempt from the mandate. But the workers at this store didn’t respects or work with my medical issue they simply said no mask no entry. If you cannot accommodate for my medical condition then I will take my business else where. The shop looked really cool but I couldn’t even get a chance to experience the nostalgia because of there failure to work with my condition.

The atmosphere of this place gives the feeling of an old punk rock record store. A good selection of vinyls and cassettes that are fairly priced. Also have a nice selection of clothing along with vintage toys/collectibles.

I’ve gotten everything from a cool sailor-themed sweater to an even cooler 70’s handmade dress here! Employees are professional and cool (if you are👀) and offered to help me find things often throughout my visit. It doesn’t matter what you’re into, they’ve got something for every heartfelt weirdo on the block, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Colorado Springs or Manitou! Worth a checkout!

I’ve been going here since I was a baby. I still remember when my grandpa would take me to the location by Tejon. This place has been a part of my family my entire life, and I hold it very dear to my heart. Now I’m in high school, and it’s only a walk away from my house, and I go here all the time with my best friend. I will continue to go here as long as I live here. KEEP COLORADO SPRINGS LAME!

This was a first time visit that was a rabbit-hole descent into the psychedelic past but in a fun way. Lots of vinyl and cassettes, bizzare artifacts, vintage clothes and shoes, and friendly people. Its not a thrift shop, and I dont understand some of the contemporary stuff, but enjoyed the visit. I bought a couple of buttons, one for my wife that says, Who says I want to fit in?

The selection of stuff in this place is awesome. So much of a variety, it could be a museum. But its NOT a museum, its a store. And as a store, it gets two stars due to the fact that whoever owns this place is delusional. You cant be so proud of your goods that you put unreasonable prices on your items. Im no cheapskate. I understand nostalgia and hard to find items come with a price, and Im willing to pay that price. I love to blow money on stuff I dont need, this place goes above and beyond with prices that make even me scoff.

The Leechpit is my absolute favorite shop and it gets better with each visit. With a great selection of vinyl and owners who gets to know their customers tastes you’ll almost always find something new and great to listen to and has wide variety of vintage clothing and accessories which is perfect whether your a punk or an old soul you’ll almost certainly find something that will fit your style.

These guys wont give you anything for your clothes you can some online for way more. I had to sell one of my concert t-shirts that would go for $50 online and you bought it for $2.50. I wouldnt recommend this place thats looking for anything Rockstar or Goth in fact youd be better off going to Platos closet. And thats why you guys are going out of business and Platos closet paid me over $150 for clothes that you passed on. And by the way theyre not going out of business anytime soon. You also might want to try to stay open more often and maybe if you bought some of the things that I had it wouldnt sit on the shelf for a year.

Amazing store. They have many things that prove to be quite scarce everywhere else. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They were very quick to greet me in a friendly welcoming manner giving assistance finding something particular. I walked out with a misfits back patch for less than $15 we need more places like this. Thank you guys for such an awesome store.

In town visiting friends. A collector of vinyl records I decided to check it out . I was first impressed with the general laid back vibe of the place. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. I bought a very nice copy of cheap thrills by big brother and the holding company at a very reasonable price graded by them very conservatively. Only thing wish they had more jazz records. But that is nitpicking

I absolutely love this place, great selection of music, had all of my favorite bands. Also had outstanding service, they continued to ask me how I was doing and if I needed anything. They aren’t stingy with their prices, I told the guy my budget and he let me pick 3 cds and practicality gave me one for free! I recommend this place 100%
